I have been going here for about 15 years. Marie always does a wonderful job. Every were I go, I get compliments how wonderful my nails are. I always leave extremely happy with the way my nails they look.😃

All my nails are different shapes & i got charged 50 dollars when told it would be 35 so that’s annoying too.. i could’ve gone somewhere way better. never going back.

Nails are unevenly filed and shaped, gel/paint is slightly clumpy. Guy with glasses did my nails.

They always do a great job on my nails. I got them done today 3/9/2019 for St. Pattys Day and they came out AMAZING as always.

Awful. Went with my daughter to get our nails done. The older lady that did mine was rude when I had just sat down I had asked if I could quickly change my color she just stared at me and asked “why” like I offended her because I wanted to change my color, I said because I am trying to find a certain color and the one I had wasn’t much like another I had seen. She didn’t get up to pick one but a young lady who worked there over heard and went and looked for a color for me (still not the color I wanted but at that point I kind of just didn’t care) seemed like this young nail tech knew the other nail tech was being rude and wanted to step in and help. Fast forward to when the nail technician was doing my nails, she never cleaned up the dust and nail debris from the prior service all I could feel on the marble nail table was dirty finger nail clippings and dust from the person before me. She never had me wash my hands so all of the nail debris is still in my nails. I know this is VERY unsanitary and could easily cause an infection on someone, being a former nail tech and cosmetologist the board of health can quickly shut them down for unsanitary stations and reusing dirty implements nails files/buffers etc. Before she painted my nails she had asked for the money I was surprised because the menu says it is $28 for a full acrylic but she said $35 so I gave her two $20s and expected my $5 back. Instead she put the nail polish bottle on my $5 so I wouldn’t take it so she could keep it for a tip. Very rude!! If she had not been so rude and not gotten green glitter on my nails and filed them the way I wanted them I would of been happy with giving her the $5 tip that she kept anyways since she had kept it from me. She new she had gotten green glitter on my nail but played it off like she didn’t see anything and she also didn’t shape them the way I had asked. My daughter who wanted the same shape that I wanted had no problem getting hers shaped right, by the other nail tech (coffin shaped). When we were finished I had asked the man that worked there why it is not $28 like it says on the menu. He took a minute to come up with an answer as he stumbled on his words and goes “because the length” that one got me because our nails weren’t long at all! Not to mention 2 days later my daughter lost 3 nails! Waste of money that place!!! Do not go here! Spent $80 for the worst service! Had to reshape my nails at home and I feel awful for my daughter that her nails fell off within 2 days of getting our nails done. If I could rate this ZERO stars I WOULD

Recently moved to the area. First time visit 100% satisfied with all aspects of service received m. Planning to continue to return.

Seems rushed lately. Some are better than others and I dont want too hurt anyones feelings by saying oh I dont like how you do it.

I have been to a lot of nail places. Most I dont visit more than one time. However after visiting DC nails, I dont need to go to any other place. They are fantastic here. My nails are done the way I want them. The quality is great. The price is perfect. I highly recommend! My daughter is very picky with her nails.. She was very happy with DC 💅 ! A+

Can is so good at taking my beat up nails and making them look beautiful. I also love getting a pedicure there. So relaxing!

I just wanna know how you let someone leave your nail salon like this. I asked for a gel manicure and they filed my nails, buffed them, then immediately started painting. Didnt have me wash my hands or anything. And then at the end, she slapped lotion on my hands and just stared at me. Maybe Im just being New York about this but Ive never had a nail salon not do my cuticles if they needed it. Im so upset with this. It seemed like the girl was 16 years old and just didnt want to be there. I wouldnt not recommend this place to anyone

If you go into DC nails as a walk in its hit or miss. There is a young lady there named Maria she is phenomenal she is the best nail tech I have ever had I have been going to her for years and years not to mention that DC Nails is one of the cheapest nail salons around also her father Im pretty sure hes the only guy in there he also does Nails very well so if you do happen to walk in and Maria is busy which she usually is try to get Dad. Thats just my experience Im sure people have good days and bad days Ive seen friends of mine that have gotten a phenomenal job from other people there too but as for me personally Maria is very friendly shes happy she makes you feel good and she makes your hands look good her dad is exactly the same so I give this place 5 stars if you want your nails done call in advance try to get Maria if you can. She can do anything I used to always wear square tips the same French manicure that I always had as a kid growing up in the 90s she can also do stiletto the real pointy ones my fingernails are chewed so bad I know its gross its a bad habit she makes my nails look so beautiful and Ive had nail text tell me that they cant even do my nails because theyre too small but she makes it happen and she can do designs freehand shes amazing so is Dad I love the place its the only place Ill go

I am used to having my nails dipped every 2/3 weeks. I asked for dip,only about 8 colors to choose from, usually about 50 or 60. After 6 days I noticed a chip (never happens). Next day 2 broken nails. I also had a pedicure, extremely poorly done. No base or top coat and fast not at all relaxing. I just had to give myself a pedicure at home coz all the polish was chipping off. I would never recommend them not will I ever go back. The search is on for a professional in this area.

First time going, the place was clean and fit me in with little notice. They couldnt get my dips off and the man used the electric sanding which shredded and burned my nails. The girl never asked me to was the powder off . My nails were all bumpy and uneven, when I said something she sanded down my nails by hand never reapplying top coat. The dip and polish does not cover all of my nails and the ends of some nails have almost no dip on them at all. I now see why they werent busy and were cheaper than my regular place. Maybe they can do traditional manicures but, they do not know how to do dips.

Im sorry. Im not used to poorly finished acrylic work. It affects the color overtop and looks bad. Im going to have to get them redone as the color looks pitted and scarred. One nail was crooked. But, Im seeing now in other reviews that this is a another typical issue with this business. Wish Id read the reviews first instead of listening to ONE persons views.

Absolutely poor customer service. The owner complained and wasnt focused on doing my nails. Became upset when I complained about her filing my skin. Then she blamed me for her nasty attitude. The very worst nail salon to go to. But if you do, dont let the owner do your nails.

The owners wife messed up my nails to the point I have to get them done again. She drilled into my nail bed to the point that I can see it under the acrylic. Only see Marie when you go there. She is wonderful and nice, but have to make appointments because she is so busy.

Maybe its so cheap because they dont paint your whole nail... Every single one is not painted even close to the edge. I went in with natural well shaped nails and had them cut a bit, he did a piss poor shaping job and I shouldve asked for the file. I wont go back.

I got a pedicure here the other day, the girl who did it looked very young and was extremely awkward for starters. She barely did anything to my feet (main reason to get a pedicure for me is to take care of any dead skin) she used the foot scrubby for about 30 seconds on each foot lotioned them and painted them very quickly. DIDNT EVEN PAINT MY NAILS FULLY THERE WAS SPOTS THAT DIDNT GET COVERED. It was the most half added pedicure I’ve ever gotten and I could have done it better myself 🤦🏽‍♀️

I got a gel manicure 2 days before my vacation and the gel had peeled off within days. I asked them if they would redo them and they wouldn’t because they wanted proof. Will never go there again.

I just came from there, the young lady that did my nails stated she was 17, I had an accent nail done in which a heart was drawn in the corner an now that Im home, the bottom half of the heart on my left hand has ALREADY PEELED off.....this is suppose to be a gel manicure, now upon inspection my nails.....its the worst, Ive ever had..... theres spots where there should be polish along the side, & then theres spot where the polish is clearly lighter than it should be, the manicure is just BAD!! Im questioning weather or not this young lady is even licensed! To which I called an asked if they had any opening to which I was told to walk-in so I did an they was obivously over booked & just let their UNLICENSED daughter do my nails.....I go an have my nails done WEEKLY (YES IM AWARE GEL POLISH IS BAD FOR YOUR NAILS TO FREQUENTLY) Im a loyal customer when I find a good place, they would have made much $$ off me alone...... the selection of polish they have is great....however Im greatly displeased I will not be going back & will discourage anyone that asks me from going there!!

Not going back. My nails are not done well, they are very crooked, different sizes, not painted all the way, they look horrible and they look like I need a fill and I just got them done 2 days ago not happy at all. There were only 3 workers and one worker was just to paint the nails the other workers were not working and sleeping in the pedi chairs and watching tv. The workers half-assed it and didnt take their time. But good prices.

Had a horrible experience, Kim was the lady who did my nails . They only lasted 3 days and I was charged to get them fixed . They blamed me and I had to wait 30 minutes after I had already called and been told to come in . Finally the lady came over and Was extremely rude and didn’t do the shape I wanted or the nail design I wanted . 👎🏻😡
