If I could give no star I would. I was such a big fan until recently (aug 22). I washed my car and my side mirror got cracked in the car wash. Let’s just say two weeks later I have not heard back from them. Such poor customer service. Would not recommend to say the least.

Jack at Tommy’s in Rochester, MN on Saturday (aug 21) was outstanding. He really helped me enormously and if I had $100 to tip him I would have done so. My extremely dirty car from a 2k trip (partly in rural areas on dirt roads) was spotless after visiting this car wash. The free vacuums and floor mat washers are so nice.Again, can’t say enough good things about the employee Jack.

Theres only 1 glaring problem with this place. Theres always an untouched/ still dirty spot on the top center of the rear window, about the size of a football. For a $19 ultimate wash youd expect not to see that.

So I have pretty bad anxiety going to new places when I don’t know what I’m doing. It sounds kind of silly now that I’m writing this, but it was the fanciest car wash I had used before and I was nervous I would somehow do it wrong? Luckily, the attendant Joel was so incredibly helpful! He walked me through the process clearly and answered any questions that I had. I had promised my friend that I would try not to embarrass her at the car wash. I failed at that, but thanks to Joel I DID succeed in getting through the car wash without any problems and my car looks beautiful! Thanks for all your help and I will absolutely be returning for all of my car washing needs.

The General Manager Joel B was extremely helpful and kind. Got all my questions answered in just a few minutes.

Very happy with our car wash. Loved how quick wash was, of course the free vacuum!

Friendly staff who will assist you quickly. The wash itself is effective with free mat washers and unlimited vaccum time with your wash. The monthly membership is worth it!

Great place. They have monthly deals where you pay once a month and you can have unlimited car washes during that month. Other places that offer unlimited usually mean once per day. I have not gone more than once a day so cannot confirm if it truly is unlimited times.

Unless you would like to support a business that doesnt hold themselves accountable or care about their customers, I would go elsewhere. The car wash took off a part of my car. Mistakes happen, that is fine. Instead, the blame was shifted on me and left for me to take care of. Good luck!

Car wash seemed to work pretty well. The free vacuum and Mat washers are a huge plus!

By far the best car wash in town. The people working are always very friendly and make it worth the trip :). My favorite part about this car wash is the driers, they actually get your car very dry unlike a lot of other washes. I was told about the promotional deal for a month of free car washes if you sign up. They were very clear with me that you have to cancel if you don’t want to keep paying for the membership.

The attendant was super nice and helpful. He didnt try to pressure me on an upgrade, but suggested the appropriate wash only when i expressed interst by saying that i wanted a bit more shine included. He also assured me if I wasnt satisfied that the car was clean enough that I could run it through a second time free of charge. This proved unnecessary, after we went through once the car was sparkling clean! My daughter and I got to work right after using the very accessible free vacuums. Great job on my car, great experiece overall. Will definitely be back!

Poor business model-they dont return your money if they fail to deliver a clean car .be careful as they take predatory automatic payments from your bank. heres a tip--dispute the charge with your bank and tell them tommys failed to honor thier part of the deal. the bank will return your money.

Staff is friendly, wash is great. Only thing I dont like is with the best wash they have the tire cleaning and it scratched my wheels pretty good . To the point I had to change my membership to the one that doesnt have the tire stuff .

I got the discount for January, and decided to keep it to keep my truck clean, and while it is a little pricey the unlimited wash has kept it pristine and its super simple to use and does a great job with a good wash.

Love Tommys express, wish they could put another location right beside my house, Gets my car super clean, and they have a car floormat cleaner thats awesome for the winter. The double side vacuuming is the best, and you can buy a 3 dollar cleaning package that clean the external part of your car very good. The service is the best here staff is very helpful.

Read the fine print. I thought I was buying a buy one, get one free car wash. Turns out they charged me for a monthly subscription. When I called to tell them I didn’t intend to sign up for that, the manager basically told me it was my own fault and there was nothing he could do. He was not at all polite or understanding. He comments on these negative reviews say he would like the opportunity to make it right...I called to see if he would make it right and he chose not to.

Even though I see bad reviews, I havent had any problems. I had experienced some water spots on my hood but it wasnt from the car wash, it was from the rain the night before. This was a couple of months ago. I went through the wash 3 times, some spots were gone. So I went to Auto Zone and they recommended to wax the hood. I did and after a few days, the spots were gone. I had friendly service when I first signed up for the works. Everything was explained to me in detail.

We signed up for a BOLO and did not know/was not explained properly that we were being charged over 40 dollars a month for a service we have not used. We called the manager hoping to get at least a partial refund. He told us they would not refund us because it was explained properly. We disagree and felt it was deceptive. There have been similar complaints on the Better Business Bureau website and at I believe at this particular location. We were told and found out there is no easy way to talk to someone at a higher level to discuss this practice. We will never visit another Tommys Express and will let others know what our experience was.

Prices are reasonable. Also like how they put a bag over the rear wiper.

Had to go through twice and there are still bugs on the windshield. Good place if you just want a rinse off. Was told “pay for the ultimate wash and wash for free did the next 30 days”. It’s really a discount off the monthly subscription rate which they didn’t mention. To get the 30 days free you have to sign up for the subscription in their app. 2 stars for good customer service and poor wash quality with misleading promotion.

I bought an introductory wash package and I suppose the auto renew was in the fine print but an attendant did the registration for me and made no mention of auto renew. I received a bill for $43.24 for this coming month and talked to Joel Balko about returning the $43.24. He said there was nothing he could do. I am not a happy customer.

Pleasant experience with helpful and friendly staff. Their vacuums dont suck...in like a yknow, not great way, but theyre free! So five stars!

Poor customer service by Joel, I called to cancel my subscription the day it was supposed to renew and also I had bought a new car that was black and it was recommended by the car dealership to only use touchless. Tommys does not have touchless. They told me they would cancel it. I then seen that payment still came out of my account, I went through the drive through carwash and talked to the guy at the window about washing black car and it scratching my car that I wanted to cancel and one he even recommended not using their carwash because it may scratch and black car should use touchless. He recommended Kwik Trip touchless car wash, and he works at Tommys. I then emailed Joel from Tommys and he said he didnt know why he would say that and he cannot do anything about a refund and basically I was SOL and had to pay anyway. Never using them again . Joel is a pour manager bad customer service, doesnt care about customers.

First time I went was for a free wash promotion and I was blown away. Super friendly staff and great quality car wash!!! Definitely the place to go!

Couldnt be more disapointed with this business. We had a subscription that we didnt want to continue and I canceled on the day it ended. They still charged me $45 and will not refund the amount. No budging. Very poor business.

Great experience this morning. Cashier was friendly and courteous. Brought both cars through today and they were both clean..vacuums worked great too.

We love Tommys car wash. I like how the car is filled with the soap scent. We use the app and have the unlimited works wash. My favorite is the tire and under body wash.

Watched a brand new car infront of me get its entire hood/bumper ripped off, be careful. They also offered me The Works package for 20$ the next month they charged me 60$, I called Joe Balko, Site Leader to inform him of the mistake and that this charge wasnt authorized, he was very rude, short, unapologetic or sympathetic and showed zero empathy and insisted on keeping my money. I would NOT recommend this car-wash
