My best haircut by far. I went there thanks to the great reviews, not just about the service, but also about the price, which is definitely unbeatable. I got a full haircut and a beard trim, and the barber was entertaining and did a great job. I recommend it for any student trying to get a haircut for reasonable prices in college town.

I went to Joey for my haircut this morning is because I searched online and found that his comments are ALL FIVE Starts, and am wondering his service. After that, I would say his professional service was excellent and would give him SIX starts if I could. I am regret did not go this beautiful Barbra Shop since Ive been here in the UR for thirteen years and even did not notice him. If you want to have a best haircut in the University of Rochester community, I highly recommend you go.

My only regret is that I did not find out about this place sooner. Joey takes his time to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your hair. He does a quality job at an unbeatable price. The downside is that it is cash only, but even then, he let me walk home and come back later, having only met me once. If I hadnt moved, this would be my go to barber.

I just got my hair cut done here and I got to say I am so very happy!! He did such a great job and always kept checking up.to see how I liked my hair!!! He also made me feel very comfortable it being my first time!! Im visiting from out of state so I was worried at first but he definitely blew me away!! Joe is truly an amazing barber. I have been coming to see him every two weeks for the last 25 years. He is attention to detail is the best in the business. Care and compassion are what Joe is all about.

Joey is incredibly passionate, expierenced, and entertaining, get him talking and you wont have an issue being bored or uncomfortable. His skills are superior to any other barber Ive ever been too, and shampooing is included in the price of $17.

The worse barbershop Ive ever stepped into in my life. The guy is old, so he knows nothing about how to deal with hair except cut it the old fashioned way.

Just a rare person, with great ability to interact with anyone. I am a customer of 12+ years and I bring my 2 boys to Joey--he NEVER disappoints, ever.

I have been going to Pal Joeys for over 23 years now! Way back when his two Italian speaking Uncles ran the place like a military boot-camp - great haircuts, but a little scary those two. Nevertheless, all these years later am still going to the only place in town I have EVER had my hair cut. And now theres just Joe, and its no stretch to say whattaguy! I have no clue what I am going to do when he retires. Somehow, though a month or two may have passed, he always remembers where the last conversation left off, or what we were talking about - and so, on it goes..................along with a haircut, shampoo-n-rinse, and generally, just a really nice way to spend 30-40 minutes of ones time! And I dont even have that much hair anymore!

One of the best barbershop experiences in my life. He took his time, was careful and checked with me every step of the way to make sure everything was looking exactly as I wanted. More than that, he is one of the most pleasant people Ive come across in Rochester. I will definately be comming back.

He may be a good but he have sign on his window walk in welcome but I been there 2 time every time I go he have no one there so I ask can I get hair cut he like Im book for the day he is full of it take of your dam sign from window walk in welcome I think he is little races I could be Rong but not 3 time he looks at me oh no Im book for today and tomorrow are u serious I just cant find good Barber as I had in NYC I hope this guy take out his sign from window Im sure not going there again because he wont cut my hair because he is races .

Hadnt had a hair cut in months, Joe worked with me at every step to make sure I got exactly the kind of cut I was looking for. He even trimmed my beard up properly. Now I look like a true dapper gentleman
