I have come here several times and David Reese always does an amazing job! He even stayed late so I could get my hair done before my wedding. Despite it being so late, he really paid attention to detail and went the extra mile to make it not just a great cut, but a flawless edge-up and the design was truly a piece of art. I even had to bring my best man along to get his done too. I won’t be going anywhere else.

It’s getting late, but nonetheless I wanted to share my experience and the outstanding excellence in barbering & customer service I received from David Reese (The Owner) of 1048 Barber Lounge yesterday evening 12/4/18. David was more than accommodating in fixing my problem after receiving not as much a quality cut from another shop earlier that afternoon. The entire time I was there upon entry to the moment I first sat in his chair, I KNEW I was in good hands!! Shop with a big city vibe that’s not at all pretentious. Dave provides excellent service and styles that will get you noticed. This place is also unique for Rochester because it has a pretty diverse clientele.

The owner David is a personal friend of mine. Nothing but a class act, and as a stylist myself Ive learned a lot from David who I would consider a master barber has taught me so much. I have been getting my hair cut here since 2014. 5 years and no issues. David is a talented barber that provides excellent service with patience. Fun and friendly enviorment for sure. Very classy establishment. A real step up from other barber shops in Rochester. The shop is incredibly diverse all genders and etnicities are well represented. The chairs are the nicest I have seen in a barbershop. Very comfortable. Had a great time checking my work email from the chairs. Stopped here today for my first cut in rochester in 5 years. I have to say, David is a master of the craft. A+ cut and great price. Location is clean and inviting. Very laid back and comfortable atmosphere. From the first handshake to the thanks for stoppin by you definitely feel like a valued customer. Definitely a return customer.

My son and his friends only get their haircut done by David . It has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The chairs in the waiting area are comfortable, very different than any other shop my sons have gone too .. David does a great job every time.
