I need non-oxy fuel for my vintage car and motorcycle, and this is the most convenient place for me to get it near north Minneapolis. As a bonus, all the employees are fantastic, and to be honest I really cant say enough good things about this place. I never thought Id develop strong opinions on a gas station, but there you go.

Very friendly staff. They serviced my car within an hour and parked it in a convenient spot so I didn’t even have to back up. It’s little things like these that makes local businesses special.

I stopped to get a refill on my propane tanks. Nott only did they refill them but happily explained the process so I could better understand how its sold. Btw if you are someone who uses propane and does a tank exchange you might want to look closer and see what you are really getting in that 20lb tank. The labels say 15lbs. So you are getting a 3/4 full tank. As for Sipes, not only do I gety tank filled fill but they have a punch card and every 4th tank is free.

My favorite Fill up spot. I usually try to hold off for a Wednesday or Sunday had fill to earn those double points.

A good place for gasoline (non-oxygenated for the gas can in the garage and for those items you dont run every day like snow blower or lawn mower) Also a good place to get your LP gas tank refilled for the bbq grill. They have a punch card for the LP and if you get 3 fills, the 4th is free. Also not a bad place to get some car repairs done, brakes esp . They have good pricing and reasonable turnaround times.

My classic 77 GMC motorhome was sputtering down hwy 100 so I limped it in to Sipe’s shop. I was pretty sure it was a clogged fuel filter (which I carry just in case!). After checking in with the cashier I was introduced to the owner (sorry, didn’t catch his first name) and was told it might be a few hours as his mechanics needed finish their work load as promised. I told him if my predicament (had to pick up my wife at the airport in a couple hours), he explained that the car on the rack had the same needs and he’d get to my ASAP. After about 30 minute wait the mechanic courteously and professionally installed (and showed me how to do it myself) the fuel filter. When it came time to pay I asked ‘how much’, he asked if I had filled my fuel tank (I had) and told me it was free. I’d have left him some $$ but had no cash so instead I left this review. Great to have neighborhood businesses like Sipe’s, the world is a better place because of it!!

Best gas station in the world. Small town owner operated. Tom Sipe is a awesome man that works hard everyday along with the rest of the staff. Blake knows everyones name at this small town station and it really makes ya feel welcome evertime. Long time techs very knowledgeable and trust worthy. Shell non oxygenated gas is always there and fresh. If there were more stars, I would click on them cause Sipes deserves them. Thanks all!!

I just left Sipe`s shell station. I will never go back. I have a shell credit card, the old man in the office screwed everything up. I never got a reciept. I never got my punch card back.They have a Punch card for customers. You get one punch for each gallon you buy. Mine was four punches from being full. The old man at the register was so screwed-up he lost it some how, and then insulted me. It`s time for that old geezer to retire. I`ll never go back.

I made the biggest mistake purchasing a vehicle from here. I should have followed my gut instinct. First I got a 2005 awd c240 Mercedes.Im going to try and make this as short as I can.First of all Greg, that guy is an impatient jerk. I should have turned and left after meeting him because of his attitude . Very impatient and quisestiony, as to why I wanted to test drive it etc, also why I didnt trust usingThere mechanic . Haha!!Explaining the process to me, as if I didnt know the car wasnt mine until money in his hand ha. He treated me as if Im illiterate, when it comes to cars and the process.He also (which I kind of feel was on purpose) because he has 4 photo copies of my license, and one text message with it, which have my accurate apartment number. He put the wrong apartment number on the title and also mailed it to the wrong apartment number. I feel its on purpose because I wasnt falling for these games He was not negotiable on the price at all, because his employees had lost the car keys, and needed to replace both because people like to have a spare key which are his staffs actions, nott mine.Ridiculous to be so stingy, because of his staffs actions.Anywho got the car, he didnt tell me it didnt come with car mats until after purchase. Not a big deal but inconvenient. Also the bezel on the shifter area came unglued a week later, a the tweeter speaker cover that they glued instead of replacing came undone as well. The engine started humming, the hood release that comes out of the grill was broken and now brake light is on. Greg was more then willing to have me come and I could pay them more to look and fix the problems after paying 7500 for a car, that has these issues now.I wasnt trying to buy a newer car and have to fix things almost immediately. Its just the principal.I would never give a penny to this greedy, unethical place because its family owneddont fall for it.Also, there was an issue with the cd player which I texted him about it, his response was oh they still make cds I didnt know. I usuallyOnly use my iPhone I think that was a sad attempt at humour.I just viewed it as unprofessional, as he as a overall person is.Also when I was questioning about the car mats, he was more then willing to order them, and then I buy from them. Lol!!! Also explained/recommend weather tech, like I had no idea such thing exsisted, and like I cant order mats directly to my address for cheaper 😂😂😂Shady cars, shady people, and even overpriced gas.Any who I wouldnt even recommend my worst enemy to buy from here.I am now a proud owner of a car thag has more issues then my 99 that lasted me 7 years 😂😂 dont make the same mistake I did!Buyer be aware! Brought a vehicle here for a oil leak. The reolace the gaskets and they ruined the motor and tild me they would fix it if I oaid more money to rebuild the engine. Stsy away!!!
