Ive been going to see Jen for my haircuts for 4 years now. Id been gone for about 3 months for work, booked a haircut again today - and it was as if I never left. The haircut was as good as always. Never disappointed in the last 4 years - and plan on snagging a haircut here for the next 10 years as long as time allows! Everyone is always polite and service is VERY prompt. Booking by appointment is definitely the way to go to allow for the best experience 👌👌

Sherry saved me from pandemic hair with a great mid fade! She did exactly what I asked quickly and expertly. I never had to remove my mask and all staff and other clients were masked during my visit. The warm shaving cream is a nice touch.

Walked in and was immediately greeted with smiling faces. I didn’t have an appointment but they were very accommodating and nice! My hair was messed up from a cut I had gotten at a different shop and my hair stylist at Grandin Road Barbershop was amazing and helped me get a hair cut I fell in love with. Great people and professionals

I went by the Grandin Road Barber Shop today for and excellent experience as a new customer looking for a first beard trim for a yeard 15 weeks into growth. It’s a small, local 4+ booth barbershop in an area surrounded by a bakery, co-op grocer, boutiques, and several restaurants that I frequent. Some the things I noted:- Greeted immediately when I came in- I had no appointment, but they were able work me with 10 minutes. I appreciated that they deferred to those customers who had appointments, but were very kind in offering to schedule an appointment or letting me know a general wait time that was met.- Definitely caters to men. A lot of knowledge around cuts, beards, shaves, etc.- Sherry did a wonderful job taking care of me. She gave me time to explain what I wanted, asked me questions, showed me the progress of the cut, and was personable and attentive.- I appreciate the use of straight razors, brush and cup, hot towel, etc. I left very relaxed.- Good music- Price was fair and all prices posted on the wall.- The staff knew their clientele.I look forward to going back and suggest them for anyone looking for a good beard trim and shave. Many others were there for haircuts and seemed happy as they left.

Smh all this going on and instead of a sign saying appts only I walk in and sit for as she said 2 mins before a barber asked me do I have an appt like seriously

Scheduled an appointment with Becky and got great service and she was very personable and professional. The were very clean and sanitized and even used an air compressor to get the hair off my shoulders to minimize physical contact. Will be back again.

Great place to go! I like to make appointment first to give the ladies a heads up. They get really busy sometimes because they are so popular. They all have great attitudes and do an amazing job at cutting my hair.

I will leave the 5 stars up as a courtesy at this point.

Tracy was meticulous after her consult and sharing her ideas. Tracy has a delightful personality as well as a magic touch with shears and clippers! Highly recommend her!

Jennifer has done a great job taking this business over. I only remember it being average at best before and not very clean. Now it looks great and fresh. Service is excellent and they take care of all your needs, Appointments are always available! I highly recommend this barber shop!

My experience at Grandin Road Barber Shop was very memorable, considering it was my son Eric first hair cut. I was very nervous because I did not knew how the one year old would react toward the sensation of the hair Clipper running throughout his hair.Thankfully DeAnna Phillip-Munsey the Barber made my son experience very enjoyable through countless songs. The ladies here are great! 👍 They do an awesome job with my sons hair, and mine. I was a little nervous about getting a haircut there because its call barber shop but its the best cut Ive had in a long time. 😄 I would defiantly recommend them to anyone looking for a great haircut!

As a bystander, I witnessed the owner of this establishment demean one of her very best customers...this is a shame considering the fact that this person has been loyal to the establishment for years now. If booking, timing, etc. is an issue then that is something that should be recognized. I hope this business can become more organized....

I walked in yesterday, twenty minutes before close and Blake made a space for me and gave me one of the best haircuts I have every had. And it was only 16 dollars. Plus Blake is funny and interesting. He and his mom run the shop. They recently acquired it and are renovating, so dont be put off by the exterior. I also quite loved the old barber style chairs.

I have been here several times in the past ten days to get a haircut. The place has never been open during the normal hours posted. Will not waste another trip. They should take the hours down and post by appt only because this place is never open, if they are indeed in business anymore. Pretty disgusted considering this is the coolest neighborhood in the Roanoke Valley.
