After a dreadful experience at a Verizon corporate store, I ended up visiting this retailer on the Fourth of July holiday. The lone salesperson was the manager Jack who deftly handled my purchase and set-up my phone, while attending to four other customers who wandered in. Jack was patient and informative, and delivered super customer service where the other store failed miserably. While I felt sorry he was stuck handling the whole place by himself on a national holiday, he was the consummate professional, answering questions and problem solving with apparent ease.One more thing: while I suspect my new iPhone 12 may not have needed a new jack, I agreed to try the one that was recommended and its given my phone a lightning fast charge. Anyway, got such a good Verizon deal on my trade-in, and such excellent service, that the accessory is icing on the cake.

I was *that* customer -- show up a half hour before closing time with 2 phones to upgrade. Was able to get me all set up, no muss, no fuss. Very accommodating, highly recommend. Have been this way every time weve been in.

I’ve used this location for the past 9 years whenever I’ve needed to buy or upgrade my family’s cell phones. They always take care of me and I will continue to use them. The general manager is amazing and his staff is always super helpful. Will continue to give these folks my business as long as I live in the area.

Was NOT a Great experience.Short story.Ordered a new phone a month ago. Went in to see if it was ready since I had not heard from them. Phone that Verizon ordered for me to pick up in store never arrived. Spoke to them and pretty much was told they would reorder and next month I should get it.NO apology offered.NO care for me as a customer for 10+ years.And NO offer to try and remedy the problem quickly or in a different way.Now I know to call Verizon customer service rather than go to the store..

I went into this particular Verizon store today with a number of issues with my phone and Kelly was fantastic. She went above and beyond and spent so much time helping me and getting everything figured out plus answered additional questions that I had in the moment. She was resourceful, patient, warm and determined and they even put on a movie for my son to watch while we waited! Awesome service!

If I can give this place -1, I sure would. The team there isn’t helpful at all. All I wanted to do was return an iPhone and they kept fighting me about not having a box to return it. The manager Jack is very rude and disrespectful. They weren’t clear on their policies and if I were you, I wouldn’t shop at a wannabe Verizon store. You’re better off at the corporate stores. At least they have some compassion.

I visited the Verizon store in Riverforest today and had an awesome experience with the manager Jack. I recently purchase an apple watt and was having trouble connecting device with my phone I had gone to several Verizon store to get assistance with this issue and was unable to get issue resolved until I visited the Riverforest location Jack was awesome. He knew what the issue was right and resolved it expediently. Antonia was awesome; professional, knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Everything one hopes to experience with a sales associate/rep. He was the only associate in the store and tho busy, he ran things very even keel and took time to touch base with everyone waiting and assisting them In between assisting others. He was super with my questions and never made me feel hurried. They helped me place my order over the phone and when I shared my concerns about going into the store -they offered a plan to drop the new phone in my car curbside when I arrive at the store. Not only that, they are collaborative and team oriented - the manager entered the sale under another salespersons name in order to share the credit for the sale! Initially I was going to rate this store higher until I read over my receipt. My husband and I worked with Brian Z to switch over to Verizon. He seemed to be very knowledgeable and helped us through switching to Verizon. We purchased 2 phones, 2 cases, and 2 screen protectors. Brian indicated he would give us a bundle deal on the accessories. He verbally told us that one case would be $30, the other $20, and $10 for each screen protector. So we agreed to get them. He told us our total. We knew we had to pay taxes and fees so we didn’t question it. Now that I am home and read the receipt, Brian over charged us. Even with the discounts I paid almost $140 for the 4 accessories. I have attempted to call the store and cannot get an answer. We had plan to return and purchase two phones from this store for our children. I will not return since they are experts in being deceptive.

Worst customer service experience I have had in years, would not recommend.Signs in store indicating they want 10/10 for their service. They earned 0.3 visits across two days totaling over 4 hours.Visit 1: approximately 30 minutes. Needed to switch a business phone number to a personal account. Sales person indicated no problem, I would need to have my company release the number (out of TCCs control). Walked us through the line we would add to existing family plan, indicated only iphone choices were an SE or a 12. No on the 12, didnt want to spend $800. Sales person says no problem, with adding the line you get the SE free. Cool, were in, had to leave to get company to release the line.Visit 2. approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Came back in because the company released the line. Sales person calls verizon to get the line switched. Was on the line with the first person for over 90 minutes. While it is true that it is out of TCCs control who answers the verizon phone, it is in TCCs control to recognize that more than 90 minutes for something that should take 15 minutes is crazy, and hang up and try again. Upon my repeated suggestions that the sales person do so, he finally does. Call back, 15 minutes later the switch is made. However, at that time I had to leave. Cool, come back tomorrow to finish the transactionVisit 3. approximately 1 hour. Came back to pick up the phone, ensure the line was switched over, and be on my way. Different sales person. Asks me to sign a document. It included a document about paying for the phone. Question the sales person, as I had spent over 3 hours in their store the day before because the phone was at NO CHARGE. Manager gets involved. Says they want me to pay $400, because its not a new line of service. I indicate that his people told me it was, and his people told me the phone was free. He says he cant do it. I say BAIT AND SWITCH. Manager says no, mistake. I reply train your people better, thats on you. He replies his people are trained well. OK, if they are trained then they know better and its a BAIT AND SWITCH. Manager replies sales person today caught it. I indicate that second sales person didnt catch anything, because I was the one who caught it. Manager says he cant do anything except offer a discount on accessories.If he believes that I would spend $0.01 more with his store after investing over 4 hours for a process that should have taken less than 30 minutes, and uncovering TCCs changing of the deal at the last second, he is sorely mistaken.Icing on the cake? Leave the store with the phone, and it doesnt work. Have to go back into the store, where manager spends a few minutes fiddling with it to get it to work.I recommend you be very careful with TCC, make sure that you understand everything that you are signing, and force them to be explicitly clear with what they are selling you. The customer service here was poor, and the product they ended with was not the product they started with, and it cost me $400 extra. Either TCC doesnt train its people well enough, or they elect to do business in a way that gets people in with an offer of a free phone and then switches it at the last minute. Im not sure which one it is, but both are fully in TCCs control, and you need to beware.

However the last few times Ive gone to Verizon River Forest, Jacks taken great care of me and makes it a super easy experience.
