Safe location. Maintenance is nice but slow. I think there’s only three men working for two apartment complexes. They lost my paperwork a few times, so ask for a copy.

Don’t waste your time!!! Management is HORRIBLE! I wish I had a 6 month lease instead of an entire year! It’s an overall quiet community, but definitely not worth the price!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE! I have been putting in maintenance request since I moved in towards the of of July 2021 and yet nothing has been fixed. There are three maintenance men for three apartment complexes (Northbrook Phase I; Pinebrook; and Northbrook Phase II), which is just horrible management. Maintenance will either halfway do it, not do it, or tell you nothing is wrong even though you are the one living there. Front office staff makes promises of getting things done that never see the light of day. Also, be sure to document all encounters because they will lie to you and on you in a blink of an eye. Don’t waste your time calling either because voicemails are never returned. Anyone who left a positive note must’ve been given a gift card because at this point the only positive thing about this apartment complex is the location. Pictured below are some of the concerns and issues I’ve had to contact the city inspector about.

I moved in PineBrook apartments in May of 2020. I have yet to receive a mailbox key and its almost eight months later. I have tried and tried to get this mail box key. There is no accountability for the office staff or the maintenance staff it seems. Ive even called corporate which evidently that did nothing as well. One time they offered for a maintenance man to pop the lock on the mailbox and leave it open until they get me a key.I wouldnt expect a professional to say something like that especially considering the fact that with an open mailbox literally anybody will have access to your mail. Furthermore, I know someone else that stays in Pinebrook and theyve stayed there way longer than I have and they dont have a mailbox key either. The office staff tries to act like they are so friendly, however they are clearly not doing their job! If youre trying to contact them via phone, you may as well not waste your time because they never answer the phone and if you leave a message itll never get returned! Ive literally spent a whole work day trying to contact them before! All of these negative reviews that you read about the property management are absolutely true! This is supposed to be Madison County which is supposed to be the cream of the crop of MS, however youd be better off renting in ghetto South or West Jackson probably when it come to these apartments! Truly a disappointment!

I have been a resident at Pinebrook Apartments since 2015, and am very proud to call this community my home. The staff is very friendly and helpful with assisting with any issues of concern. The maintenance team always fix any issues in a timely manner & i must say they are very professional. And most importantly, I feel extremely safe at all times. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a nice place to call home! I Love it here.

For 3 months at least the lights for the stairwell have led to be replaced. If someone falls it is due, absolutely to the apartments negligence.

UPDATE: It is very interesting to see that Pinebrook apartments has went out their way to respond to my review, but still has not called back, responded to any messages, nor fixed any of the problems I have been inquiring for the last months and a half. Please don’t believe the hype behind their automated response. Because the same energy that was put into their INTERNET response could have been said to me in person. Needless to say, I’m definitely ending my lease & taking my coins elsewhere.I honestly wish I could rate these apartments much higher because the renovations are gorgeous and the community is quite. However, Maintenance is HORRIBLE and Management is so much Worse. That alone can throw off the ENTIRE experience while living here.I have been given the run around for a little over a month now. Either they do not answer the phone, not in the office, or use their favorite line “we will get back with you”.1. I’ve had a leak coming from my walls in the bathroom causing the the wallpaper to basically melt and water damage on my floor. It’ll leak throughout the day and early in the mornings. They had the audacity to try to tell me that it came from my neighbors upstairs splashing water during bath time. 🙄2. I have to dry each load of clothes 3xs (2 1/2 hrs per cycle) to dry. This has caused an increase in my entergy bill as well. I was basically told that I would not be getting a new dryer & to go up the street to the laundromat. However, they are still taking my coins every month for it.3. Ally, one of the new office workers, is hands down disrespectful! However, put a man in front of her & she will drop what she’s doing immediately. She completely disrespected me and made me feel beyond uncomfortable. Idk how she has a job in this profession. Ghetto.4. My water heater went out, which caused our water to not get hot anymore. And my A/C is Frozen. Has anything been done about it? Not at all.I use to recommend these apartments to everyone, however, unless you plan on hiring people to fix any problems you might have as well as using the laundromat up the street, I do not recommend. Renovations can only go so far 🙄

Horrible experience. My fiancé and I were ready to move in here. We had already paid our deposit, had the move in date scheduled, we took off work, had movers scheduled, and had the WiFi people set up to come change over our WiFi. We came and toured and payed our deposit about 3 weeks in advance so they had PLENTY of time to prepare for us. They had changed our move in date once already, like a week before move in day and also asked if we could do an upstairs apt rather than down stairs like we discussed. Then, they called the day before we were supposed to move in and said it was going to have to be pm time before we could start moving bc inspection had to be done. Then, the day we were supposed to move in, they called said the new floors were not put in so inspection couldn’t be done that day. I don’t understand how you can be planning to put in hard wood floors the day before people are supposed to move in. They also never answer the phone when you call. Very unorganized and unprofessional.

Apartments are too small and outdated for the amount of rent they charge.

Very unprofessional. The office staff never answers the phone! The voice recording replays and no one ever answers. The office staff does not return calls. I have called over 20 times and still have not heard back! I have been given the run around.

Northbrook is by far the best apartments to stay if your looking for something that’s nice for you and your family. I just love the up to date apartments everything is very nice I love the corner tops and hardwood floors. I also love the washer and dryers in the units. The 3 young ladies in the office are so professional I just adore all 3 of them. I will give northbrook 5 stars anytime.

I have lived here now for almost 6 months in one of the newest apartments and I love it!!!! Chalon Beard is these best not to leave out the other ladies but she normally helps me. Maintenance grew rock to my unit went out they had me up and running by the time I was off work. I feel they are working towards perfection you guys ROCK!!!!

I stay here and I freaking hate it! I’ve had a roof leak for months and a maintenance request for a tub resurfacing since May. I haven’t been able to take a sit down bath since. No maintenance and on top of that, they lost my rent money order. Save yourself and don’t rent here. It’s beyond horrible here forreal. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! These apartments are full of mold and bugs. I wouldnt recommend these apartments to my worst enemy. Theyre in the middle of renovations and are now trying to charge wayyyyyyy more than what these apartments are worth. Newsflash these are income restricted apartments and were considered the easiest ones to get into. Thats the only reason they have tenants at this point and now theyre posting these same bug infested apartments on here for way more than what theyre worth. Every week its something wrong with these apartments. Nobody will move in for the prices they think theyre about to rent these apartments for. The trash is ALWAYS all over the parking lot. I moved in 3 months ago and it has been the worst experience of my life. Save yourself the headache, there are nicer up to date BUG & MOLD free apartments in the area.

Do not rent from these people. The apartments are old and raggedy. And that office staff has the worst attitudes. And is very unprofessional! I wouldnt let a roach move there. God knows they have plenty of them. I wouldnt wish these apartments on my worst enemy. And I dont even have any!!

If you want to experience what Trash apartments feels like, please come & live hereSuper old, thin walls, wood cracking when winds blow, weed smell 24/7, noise after midnight, loud music early in the morning, loud music after midnight, you need a good luck trying to reach office,Id rather live under a bridge than coming back to this dumpster

I moved out over 8 months ago and still havent received my deposit as of yet. Ive been calling for months not and its either no one picks up the phone, or they have new staff or management that needs to look into it. Its simple just refund me my money. My apartment was given back the way you gave it to me, because someone moved in 2weeks later.

A good quiet place to live overall. But somewhat outdated because the complex is very old, however, the staff is very courteous and responsive to the needs of their tenants, making Pinebrook a secure and comfortable place to reside.

Apartment are outdated, overpriced, they never fix anything. Management has a nasty attitude. I wouldnt recommend these apartments not even to college students. Not to mention bed begs and ticks that caused me to move out my unit within the first 6 months of my lease. Called their home office in Memphis five times left messages never a call back from them. Jackson has better be more up to date apartments and within your price range.

Fantastic place to live, people are friendly the front office ladies are awesome, if you have a problem in the apratment they fix it right away, clean and nicely lit up at night.

Unprofessional Ratchet Management with little to no educationI wish I didn’t have to leave a star at all to be honest .I want to tell you all about Northbrook Apartments in Ridgeland, MS . Since being taken over by Elmington properties they have a little face lift an claim to have done a multimillion dollars renovation 🙄😒, I was blinded by the faux hardwood floors and the stainless steel appliance but I have found mold in my kitchen, under my floors in my pantry where my food is and all through out my dining room. My apartment floods almost everyday from the neighbors next door apartment and the maintenance has done nothing to fix it. I have ants crawling down the side of my patio door and my water pressure is always low,the Community Director Mercaedees Brister and her ASSistant Chalonde T. Beard are very unprofessional and are horrible liars because they can’t even come together to get those stories straight before they speak to me or my fiancé about any issues . Thy lost my deposit and found it a month later but have not provided me with the copy that reflects my original receipts .They have given us a faulty lease that does not have all the proper addendum attached and we are paying for a 2 bedroom 2 bath but have a 2 bedroom 1 bath we have only been here since 6/19/2018 and have had several problems. At this point I want my money back or a better apartment . I wouldn’t recommend this complex to my worst enemy . One word BUGS! I just moved here & there has been bug after bug after bug! Roaches are a huge problem here, spiders crawling up through the tubs. Also giant cock roaches!!!

Management is rude, little rain and you got a little lake in front of 60% of apartments.
