Pure Nails is hands down my favorite place to get my nails done. The people are sweethearts...consistently. Ive brought my girls to get their nails done too (both under the age of 10) and they had such an awesome experience. Keep up the great job.

Kevin definitely got the shape on point. It has been a struggle to find someone who can do short coffin nails without turning them into some other shape completely.

The 1st time we went early this year we had Tee and Vira and let me say they are A+! We ask for them each and every time now. We get manis and pedis every 3 weeks. They are very attentive and accommodating, have an upbeat atmosphere, very clean and sanitary. Excellent prices and very friendly staff. We recommend them all the time to friends. They have many colors of the powder dip also. Missy and Ricky will see you in 2 weeks 😀

Great nail salon! Warning: they don’t seem to accept tips on your card. I don’t carry any cash so I wanted to warn everyone to find an ATM first. But the pedicures were excellent with various price point options.

Very professional, nice, and good at what they do. The lady I had (I didnt catch her name) took her time and made sure everything looked nice but at the same time didnt take a year. Highly recommended 🖤. Ill be coming back.

100% DISAPPOINTED I visited here for the first time tonight and my nails look horrible and I paid 45$!! Firstly I asked could she do a simple flame on ONE nail and she said she couldn’t. So I asked for a heart and the letter “M” on ONE nail and the “M” looked like my 5 year old drew it! So I asked her to just paint over it and forgot about any type of design. My nails are crooked and the overall paint job is terrible. I will be going to my normal nail tech tomorrow so 45$ down the drain! I will NEVER be returning. They need more experienced nail techs because who doesn’t know how to do a flame!? Or simple letters!!?

I took my girls to get their nails done and the service was wonderful. They did the designs that they wanted. They were all smiles. They do prefer cash payment for tips or they offer cashapp and vendors. I will definitely take my girls here again 😊

Great spa. Good treatment from all technicians and you also get a complimentary beverage while sitting for a pedicure. Ive enjoyed the couple times Ive been and very happy with their work.My wife has been going here for a while. Ive taken her a couple times as well to pamper her (expecting soon) but I also love a good pedicure as an athlete and referee. Its never a bad thing to take care of your feet, the things that carry you everywhere.

Worst nails Ive ever had. I went for a fill in and she tells me it wont look natural. So she does a whole new set. Then when I tell her what design I want she tells me no it will be too much. Too flashy. The design I got is horrible and the colors dont match. After being there 2 hours I was ready to go. Will never go back!

I love this place! I tell everyone about it and will never go anywhere else for a pedicure. I feel like a princess everytime i go 🥰. I got my nails done there once but i didnt like how they came out. But if your looking for a pedicure heaven, look no further! Hopefully they will bring the wine back. I know its a little hard during covid though.

I have always had great service and have been patronizing this business for years. Tina and Ann will definitely make sure your taking care of. Just bring the Wine back like other shops. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for top notch service for finger nails and feet.

Very disappointed in the experience here. Nail tech was not friendly at all and she left 5 of my fingers bleeding on my right hand from knicking me with the electric file. I understand that happens but it was very careless to do it to each of my fingers. I had to ask for lotion and had to ask again for cuticle oil which made seem like a hassle. Would not recommend

It looked really nice once you step inside. They were very nice. Although i enjoyed everything else it was kind of hard to understand what they were saying. They also didnt understand what i asked.

I spent $65 on a pedicure and told her about my problem areas and my feet still were rough. She spent most of the time rubbing my legs.

Most painful experience ive ever had. The nails themselves turned out decent i guess... But the lady doing my nails (table 8) was incredibly rough, she broke my pinky nail down the the flesh making it bleed. When taking acrylics off you are supposed to sand with the drill and use the liquid to get more off... instead she cut and ripped them off making all of my nails incredibly thin and ruined underneath. She cut at least 4 different fingers when shaping the nails because she kept sanding into my skin. I pulled my hand back multiple times and 4 of my fingers were bleeding by the end.. the blood even got into the powder and I had to go to walgreens to buy a glitter top coat to cover up the blood spots. My fingers are still in alot of pain today (got nails done yesterday). Will never come back.

My first time here (5/29/20) and I loved it! Mandy was so great and did an amazing job on my full set, pedicure and eyebrow wax! This will definitely be my new salon!Prices were also very reasonable! Great job Mandy !

The place is old, dirty and needs an uplift. Got gel dip and its thick. Spots not covered. Told the technician and she just said because its glitter it wont be consistent. Will not come back.

The worst customer service. I have been going here for over a year and the service just got horrible. Last time I went my nails started breaking off the same week. I texted the owner and she told me to come in and they would fix it, I get there and she has her back turned to me and wouldn’t even look me in the face and told someone else to go ahead and take care of me. Again, the same person as before and my nails BROKE OFF AGAIN!!! I paid over $100 for service and the lady refused to do one of the special pedicures because she said she had to pick up her kids and was super rude the entire time.

Today was my first time coming into the shop. I loved how we were greeted at the door & taken in right away. The salon is beautiful, spacious & very well kept. I was pleased with my service today. Tom gave my nails life again! I will definitely be returning for future appointments.

Pedicure was amazing but manicure was absolutely horrible. The lady threw her tools around and cut my fingers multiple times. My nails came out crooked and had to redo them myself once I got home. This lady obviously hates her job, she was extremely rude to me.

I’ve had a great experience every time I’ve been here. Today was the BEST! Jayden was incredible and so nice, honestly the best pedicure I’ve had ever! I will be asking for him when I go back! Such a nice staff and friendly environment for great prices!

So so pleased with my visit today! I normally go to salons in North Carolina because of where I have been working. While there, I fell in love with the dipped powder, my nails grow really long and are naturally strong and the powder protects them so well. After doing some research, I stopped into pure and I am so glad that I did! I was greeted and seated right away. Kevin and his wife (I wish I had gotten her name) took really good care of me! I cant wait for them to get back from vacation. Youve found a regular customer!!! *Kudos to the complimentary wine😁

I have only been to this spa 3 times and EVERY time I have received excellent service. Chris has done two acrylic fill-ins for me and I recommend him. He is very gentle and attentive to detail from the moment you sit in the chair and leave. In addition, the prices here are great compared to other salons. Lastly, I will mention that this salon typically has a wait, but it’s WORTH IT. Think about it, if a salon is always busy it means they provide good service!

Decent nail place. Not the best, not the worst...they were busy when I came. My spa pedicure--they forgot a few steps and whoever thought a leg massage with an exfoliating scrub was a good idea needs to rethink things--ouch. Use a good lotion for that. Also the paraffin wax (which they did after I reminded them *after* my polish--which I would have just skipped) was scalding hot--also ouch.

This salon is clean and professional. The staff is friendly. The massage chairs are new and very relaxing. They offer beverage service of wine, mimosas or water which is included in service. The only negative is you have to tip in cash and who carries cash these days, but they do have an ATM in house with a $1.50 fee which isnt too bad in a jam and very convenient.

I primarily go to Pure Nails to get pedicures, although their other services are top notch too. The staff at Pure Nails are professional and kind, and always make me feel pampered. They adhere to high standards of cleanliness. I like the wide array of pedicure options, and have never been dissatisfied with the results. Their complimentary beverages are a nice touch too. 😉

I got exactly what I wanted for a good price-as did the friend I went with! For ombré nails ask for Julia, she did wonderfully, and Chris did my friend’s acrylics perfectly! Highly suggest this place!

This was my first time going to this salon. I was looking forward to a great experience but was not overly pleased when I left. The pedicure was a much better experience than my manicure. The pedicure looked great, and I was served a refreshing beverage, but felt the area near the chair was not clean due to nail clippings on the towel where I would normally out my purse. The woman I worked with was pleasant and kind, but she had a difficult time shaping my nails for the manicure, and the layers of polish were not even. Due to these reasons, I think I can find a more suitable place.

Great place to get your nails done! They serve alcohol and the people are really nice! Very comfortable atmosphere as well! Definitely will be going back there at some point!

I have friends that have used your salon in the past and found the pedicure to be average to good. I am thinking of coming today and have a couple of questions. 1. Do all of your pedicurists hold an up to date licence that is posted for me to see? If not which ones do as I would only want to use them. 2. Are any of your pedicurist a member of a professional organization such as the IPA whose sole mission is to promote safer and higher quality pedicures through education and support? If so which ones? Please post the answers here instead of having me call you as I am sure there are many other people that would like to know the answers for our safety.

I had been here when they first opened and remembered it as having pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and then theres the complimentary beverage. I wanted to try again as Im still looking for the place for nails. I was able to be seated right away for a pedicure in the early afternoon on June 6, a Monday. I splurged and upgraded from a regular $25 pedicure to the $35 organic sugar scrub that was supposed to come with lotion massage and hot stone massage. SO disappointed. Not only do my toenails look sloppy, but the technician talked to her co-worker next to her and I thought she was going to scrub the skin off my shins. Then the hot towels made my shins hurt even more, the lotion massage was nothing more than rubbing lotion on my legs, no massage at all, and the hot stone massage was a waste; the technician rubbed the stones lightly around and was done. I know I should have said something, but I should also feel confident that the person providing the service knows what they are doing. A few other annoyances, such as being asked to pay while I was letting my nails dry because the tech wanted to leave and then when I asked for change from woman behind counter whose back was facing me, she barely said anything to me and someone else got off a couch where she had been plugged into her phone and gave me the change but was not very friendly. The tech did do a good job waxing my brows. I did like that the tools are sterilized professionally. Overall, pretty disappointing.

My first time there was interesting. I talked with a young lady that was finishing up and I received some positive feedback about Pure Nails &Spa.. So on that note Ill be back in two weeks 👣

Extremely nice experience! Great job for the price, massage chairs are comfortable and complimentary wine is fun. Only reason its not 5 stars is due to a few small imperfections that are only noticeable when examining my nails, and theyre not much for conversation (bit of a language barrier) but I like to put my headphones in so it works for me. Definitely get the pedicure with the hot stones its worth it!

Pure Nail & Spa is a super chic salon! After searching for the best nail salon on Richmond I was excited to get my nails done here. The manager is super friendly however I was extremely disappointed with the service. The lady that started doing my nails randomly walked off to help someone else. After sitting for about 10-15minutes someone asked if I had been helped which was a bit of an interesting question seeing I had aluminum foil on my nails. 10 minutes later the owner did help by taking the gel off my nails, however everything was very rushed. The nail technicians came and went working on my nails and NEVER SAID so and so is going to help you or Ill be right back. After a long day at work the experience was far from a spa. I do plan to give the shop a second chance because I believe at a less hectic time their service maybe a lot better! No matter how aesthetically pleasing a shop is customer service is always key!

Went to get a pedicure by Anna for my birthday. She started using tools straight from the basket and not from a fresh pack like they normally do. SUPER UNSANITARY. Then when I told her I wanted a fresh pack of tools, she got the new pack and still used tools from both the new pack and the tools I asked her not to use on me. When I nicely asked her why she was using the tools that were not in a pack she said she was uncomfortable doing my nails and rudely told me to leave. Would never recommend this place worst experience I’ve ever had. And one time before this experience they tried serving me wine in a glass that already had lipstick stains on it. If you care about a place being sanitary, do not come here! ATIR Nails is the best nail place in town to go, go there instead.

I’ve come here numerous times, and when it’s simple, I’m happy. So if you want a basic manicure, go ahead. There’s always a long wait, even if you make an appointment. Vivi is great, I’m always happy when she does it, but I’ve seen 4 other technicians & am never happy. I’ll post pictures of what I asked for, and what I got, two times that weren’t even close. I didn’t speak up the first time, so that’s on me, but the second time I was told the design I wanted could be done, and then close to closing was told that the woman who did designs had left & my tech couldn’t do it. I said okay, leave them one color, no design. She did a design anyway, which was nice of her because she gave it to me for free, but the design is awful. I get stiletto nails & she made them almond, and thick & not properly filed. I got them done LAST NIGHT and today they’re chipped - I get GEL. How does that even happen?? So again, if you want a simple pedicure, or a simple set/manicure, go ahead, but be wary. *EDIT* they don’t eve allow pics on google or Facebook reviews. WONDER WHY.

We were referred by a friend for brow waxing. Very satisfied. Friendly and easy to understand, good communication. Havent tried other services, but have been referred by others. Pricing seems about average.

My husband purchased a gift card for my birthday. I made appointments for us to get pedicures and had a great time! Both our technicians were friendly and engaging. Got there at the scheduled time and was seated right away. Very busy but staffed to handle it.

Absolutely disappointed I came in w two other friends that said their service and nails were amazing.wish I could say the same but unfortunately can’t. Walking in I thought it was a really nice place an thought it could probably be “THE” nail place but boy was I wrong. I was seated at the nail bar w my friends and asked for the service I wanted to get done and if I wanted something to drink. Both friends got their drinks and were seated right away while I waited for 5 min and was told to “come here”. Sitting down I try to explain what I wanted (and showed a picture) which was skinny square but not too tapered to where it’s coffin and the nail tech disregards it completely and does coffin an goes “that’s gonna be an up charge” 🤔. Half way through I’m hating the shape and I’m thinking my fingernails are ab to falloff with the amount of force this guy is putting on em and even after informing him he still rushes and continues to use such force. OH and I never got my beverage even after asking 😐. The total comes out to $45 for just a full set and regular polish and I look at my friends and laugh but I honestly wanted to hurry up and leave ASAP so I gave them my coin and left😒. Too far to go back just to chance having bad service again.

I love going here Im never disappointed, the nail techs are so nice. You will feel pampered. They serve you wine while you get your services if youre 21+ of course, & the good thing is their pricing is comparable to that of other establishments(about $25 for full set etc). Theyre also very sanitary they open a new pack of tools everytime they do your feet.

I heard all good things about this place but when I went my experience wasnt what I expected. The lady who did my pedicure didnt seem to speak much English so the whole time she was quiet and didnt say anything to me. When I was finished she just told me to wait for them to dry, but never came back to check on me or let me know I was good to go. She also seemed to dislike that I didnt choose to get a different pedicure than the one I chose. I wouldve gave this place more stars if my service went better.

I really enjoy this salon and the atmosphere, plus the owners are very nice and involved. But Ive had a few bad experiences with the nail techs - Im not one to complain but getting acrylic nails popped off your fingers and ripping up part of your nail which then begin to bleed and having the tech put nail glue on the cut to stop the bleeding WAS the final straw. Like i said Im not trashing the whole salon because of this obviously Ill live but come on!

Initially, I was looking forward to the Salon. When I got there, I was given a very lukewarm soaking basin for my pedicure. The nail technician acted as if she was afraid to give me a pedicure. I had to ask her about every aspect of a pedicure even down to checking to see if I had any in grown toe nails and could she work on them. My manicure was a little better but for $50.00 the experience was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. I still have in grown toe nails. The nail technician did not even get them out but cut a divot on the side of my toe nails. Never go back again.

I get the Dip powder, always come off before 2 weeks.

Worst pedicure I have ever received in my life. The technician would barely pay attention to what she was doing. Instead of filing my nails individually, she did a big sweep with the file over the top and called it a day. She did not buff my feet out like she was supposed to and while she was pretending to do so, she would not even look at my feet to see what she was doing. The hot stones were so hot I jumped out of my chair and she just continued anyways. My cuticles we’re halfway removed and the rest just left as is. Once I was taken to the drying station, the tech placed me at a seat that had a dried up half eaten apple sitting on it and did not even move it. The fan wasn’t workin so I had to move myself and figure out how to manage the fans.Absolutely the worst nail service I have ever experienced. The tools looked like they had not been sanitized from previous services and were haphazardly THROWN back into the basket after use. Horrible experience, not worth the cost or clean up I had to do afterwards.

I like to take care of myself and my old nail place is under new management. Needless to say I had to find a new place. A coworker referred me to Pure Nails. Love the atmosphere and the ladies took very good care of me.

Came for the 1st time sunday to this place that lady was rushing got there when it was empty to get a full set i love the shape but i got a color and plus the glow in the dark color and i got home and theydidn’t even glow 🤷🏽‍♀️ what a turn down

I went to get a fill in last Thursday and my nails did not turn out how I wanted. I chose this bright pink nail polish and the woman applied them to my nails and then had me dry my nails under the UV light even though I didn’t have gel nail polish. After drying there were little bubbles on majority of my nails. She didn’t seem to know why this happened, so she then had to remove all of the polish off of every single nail and start all over. I had already been in the shop for an hour at this point and had other things I needed to get done. She then switched me to a different nail technician to paint my nails all over again. He then painted my nails, dried them off with the fan this time, and then I left. Not long after I left the shop I noticed that the polish smudged on one nail and there were still little dots on a few of my nails. I’m not sure if the nail polish was bad or what. Now today, I see that one of my nails has cracked. I have never had all of these issues with my nails. It hasn’t even been a whole week since I’ve had my fill in and I am so disappointed! It feels like I completely wasted my time and money.

Was very displeased with my service this time around. Only needed one nail replaced and the rest filled in .But the nail tech suggested that needed to remove the old overlay ever 6 months, now I had length to my own natural nail, which by the was 9 all together. Any way by the time the nail tech was done, I was back at the beginning of full set of nails, just at the tip of my fingers REALLY where do they do this at.My is, that you do as the customer as and not what the nail tech chose to do.Thank YouM.Sewell

I frequent the nail spa near by and wanted to give this place a try since it was new. I went with my BFF and we had a good time. They were very friendly and offered us a drinks. Once they get their ABC license they will be serving wine.I really enjoyed the hot stone massage that was included in the basic pedicure package. I was also able to choose the scrub scent that was used. I picked Lavender and my BBF picked lemongrass.The interior is beautiful.. It looks professionally decorated and has an upscale vibe.The prices were comparable to other salons. Tips must be left in cash.A great new addition to the area.

Ive heard so many good things about this place and I am impressed.Went in for a mani pedi today and had the JOY of getting Anna to do my nails. she was very attentive and asked me how she was doing along the way. She asked how I wanted my nails shaped before she even picked up the file.Anna listened to me when I said I wanted to grow out my nails so she recommended dip powder manicure, which I didnt know about. It was a great experience. She was very informative and I felt like she took a lot of time to make sure I was taken care of.The salon is very nice, up to date and extremely clean. They have drinks to offer you as well which is a nice touch. Overall solid salon I will be back to see Anna!

Went and thought it would be a great experience. Great set up but the lady that did my nails did not put a top coat on my toes know what she was doing when it came to fixing two of my nails went to someone else and she used the drill thing on my thumb which took it down too much to cause pain. Then when I went to the station to dry my nails I received third degree burn on my right hand.

Came here after going to escape nails (ruined them) to get my nails redone. They now look amazing!

I went in yesterday for a manicure, pedicure and a wax with a scheduled appointment. The technician did my toes first and then nails and waxing. I left, went home and took my socks off only to find that my polish is ruined because the imprint of my sock had been stuck to my polish. There was plenty of time for the polish to have dried since I had other services. The technician that worked on my sister did a very poor job, stayed on his phone the whole time and left her sitting while he took care of one of his regular customers. Even though we both had scheduled appointments and she was a walk in. Needless to say, we will not go back

I was super excited to visit this salon when my coworker recommened me to them saying how friendly and organized they were so i decided to make an visit there for myself and unfortunately I had otherwise.. It was very calm and cozzy look going on into the salon, everything went great from picking colors and all until I sat in the chair. the nail technician was having a bad day Im assuming but she shouldnt had taken it out on me . she was being very rough and careless with performing on my nails she was burning me with the drill when filing down I just wanted to get out the chair and leave ; I also reminded her that I wanted a pedicure too and she seemed as if she didnt want to do them but and I asked her could she remove my ingrown toe nails she did not do that they are still bothering me . I was very calm and friendly with this lady . I just dont think I should have had such bad customer service coming from an employee . I was not satisfied with my nails nor my pedicure and I will not be returning due to the bad service
