Worst experience I have ever had, period. After 48 hours my gel polish was coming off completely. I go and nicely ask to have it fixed and they were extremely rude the entire time. They kept asking me if I had it done there as if I was lying. At the end I accidentally touched the UV light and got the literal smallest dot on my thumb nail that I didn’t even notice and he said “look I’m trying to fix your nails and you keep messing them up,” very rudely. They did fix the messed up ones for free. The ones that were not messed up will probably end up falling apart in a few days but I will go elsewhere before I step foot back in there and get treated like trash. When I was finished he said very rudely again, “you can go now.”

Worse place you could go to get nails done. Within 5 minutes of leaving the polish was peeling off my toes. And when it came to my hands they lady just did what she wanted when I was asked about how I liked the length I said it was to short and she told me that’s how she likes them and told me I would have to pay for the game nails to be put on after she took them off without asking me if that’s what I wanted when I told Her I wanted them squared she did oval cause once again that’s what she likes. Didn’t even put a top coat on my hands and the polish is all jacked up. Now I have to go pay more money somewhere else to get them fixed and get what I wanted in the first place.

My first time here was for a manicure. I wish I got the attendants name because he did an amazing job. I love my nails. My 2nd time was for a pedicure and the woman who serviced me is an angel from above! I do not have pretty feet and am very insecure about my toes but this lady made me so comfortable! I will recommend and return many times!

Pedicure was not done properly, technician could not speak English, i asked for French tip and he painted my entire nail white! Left skin on both feet and said he could not do anything about it that was my skin peeling. Three different technicians had to fix his mess. The lines for the French tip were crooked and wide. I was there 1 hour and a half for a pedicure. Wont be back.

Older gentleman who did my pedicure was rude and acted inconvenienced that he had to do a pedicure. When he worked on my feet he would just about jerk me out of the seat. The polish was sloppy and my nails are not cut neatly.

I walked in to get a fill in, I saw people going in so figured it was fine. 6 people walked in after me, I knew I would wait and it would be busy. However, I was talked to by a worker scolding me for coming in before they opened and was told for that I would have to wait longer basically. I saw them call people before me that was fine. Then they started to call 4 people who came in after me so I walked out. I won’t go back. I’ll take my nail business to Angel Nails.

Today I went in for a pedicure. I was not greeted when I signed in. I waited for a very long time before I was seated in a chair and then waited longer. The gentlemen who did my pedicure was very rough and he did not do a good job.I miss the old owners.

I took my 8 year old daughter here today and we both got a full set done. Only I got S&S she just got gel painted nails. The staff seperated us and even after I said I wanted to sit with my child they did nothing but laughed it off. I also was on one purchase away from my free manicure they switched out my cards and gave me a new one, and my free service for next time is $15? I dont know what the hell I will get with that because for 2 sets of nails they charged me $110!!!!!!??? If I had known doing the S&S was going to make that big of a price difference I would not have agreed to it! I imagined paying about $70-80 even...but not $110! That was ridiculous! I wont go back again!

My first experience here was a delight! They were very friendly and did an awesome job I really enjoyed it and will definitely go back.

First visit rushed and left waiting then scalded in pedi bin, but nail job was excellent. Second visit and Wont be going back, overcharged ten for a nail job I couldve done better myself.

They took a chunk of skin out of my heel and did not tell me I was bleeding into my sock.

I have medical issues, unbalanced, walk with assistance, a cane.The nail tech was very nice. I explained my medical situation,she was very kind, and made adjustment as needed to do my nails without using the potential harmful instruments. I take blood thinner meds..She was very gentle and very knowledgeable and professional.. she sat me closer to the sink where to wash hands, during a manicure.I believe her name was Lee

I used to love this place but the last couple years have been hit or miss. They have almost gone completely through my nail with grinder. They have cut my foot with that metal thing. More than once my nails have turned yellow. They rush you through like a herd of cattle. It used to be a very pleasing relaxing experience. When my regular girl left they told me two lies about where she went to keep me from following her. There’s a couple good girls in there. Tara and Mickey are good but can’t always get who you want.

Online it says this shop does not close until nine. I called ahead at 7:49 and asked if i could come in for a full set and the person on the phone said yes. I arrive at 8:15, and the saff said they were closed. I am so disappointed after making the trip here after the person on the phone said i could come in. They are now just standing around clearly not interested in my business even though the salon is still open. See pic.

Ive gotten pedicures here a few times now, and although they charge a little more than the place in Lexington I used to go to, I feel its not too overpriced considering the time they usually spend on the massage. Today I also got S&S for the first time ever and have to say, Im very pleased. Two of my friends came with me and got it done also and all 3 of us felt we were well taken care of and all love our nails.

Finally...its the LAST time for me to go through their doors. Theres been issues before. Today I chose to go with a different color once seated. Given up in less than a minute. She took my wallet, drink, phone back up front on a table without my knowledge and someone else taken back! Time means money but one extra minute? Walked out with half my color off. The male manager and another man stood chitchatting instead of addressing me. This customers gone. Walked into VIVA Nails in Lexington only to sit beside a physician I work with. Good enough for me. No more rudeness for this paying customer.

I really liked the nail salon. The man that did my nails was nice.. He couldve Conversated with me a little more... He kept stopping and it took forever for him to get done bc he kept answering his phone to take more appointments... Then he over priced me bc i had called up there and they told me $35 to get an SNS Nails but then after hr did my nails he said it was $43. I just paid him the money and said im not gonna go back unless i have to...

Very busy salon. I called ahead and they were waiting for the three of us. I always get the spa pedicure. The best part is the 15 minute massage! Ive never felt rushed and they always do a good job. Ive been getting my nails done here for over four years.

My nails were well done but my person didnt seem interested in upsetting she seamed more interested in getting to the next client so my mani/pedi that I was going to upgrade to a full set ended up downgrading to just a pedi

Very upset over my experience today. I went in to get a mani/pedi. I was there for over an hour and didn’t even get my toenails painted. I have been there before and knew how long to time it. I watched the clock and it took 45 min for her to finish getting polish off one foot! She asked a lot of questions so I am sure she is new. I understand that, but when I went to leave he charged me $35. Seriously?! He did tell me that if I can back he would only charge me for the gel. You would think that they would give a discount for pretty much not finishing the job. I have had a super bad few weeks and wanted to treat myself, didn’t get to do that. Bummed out.

Very disappointed. My first visit and my last. Im concerned about the cleanliness of the utensils. The place is pretty but the tech who did my pedicure almost cut my toe with the metal instrument she was using. My friend who was paying for the both of us was asked out loud can you payMy skin was left dry on my legs and feet which is different from past pedicures Ive had at other salons. we were overcharged. What we paid was different from what was listed.

Got my first gel manicure here from one of the female technicians. She was great. Very friendly and thorough. The manicure was amazing. They give you a massage and put your hands in warmers 👌

Micky was the best! We were visitors from out of state. My first time visit to a nail salon. No chip manicure, 14 days later, still perfect! Even with lots of typing.The gentleman who greeted us was very nice and welcoming.

I went in for a manicure and pedicure. My pedicure was great. When we got to the point of the SnS manicure (this was my first one) my technician put on the wrong color. It’s a mistake, it happens. She offered to give me another color, but I did not have the time to stay. I’m giving a 2 Star Review because when she realized that I wasn’t going to stay, she was rude. I still paid for my pedicure, tipped, and planned to come back. However, once she became rude over the inconvenience of a mistake that she made, I will not be returning.

I received SNS for the first time yesterday. Although she did a wonderful job; I told the technician that I didnt want long nails, but she did it anyway. Also, one of my nails has already broken off. I was told this was stronger than gel.. 😒

Got my nails done monday, already lifting on sides, seriously! The girl was super friendly, but the price was outrageous, she informed me half way through that pink and white are $49!?!?! Theyre 35 everywhere else, but she was almost finished so I decided ok, I just wont come back, but now this 50 set is lifting 2 whole days later? I give an extra star because she was very friendly, and gentle with me, but seriously, stop gouging prices, and maybe change out the powder when its getting old.

I got my nails done 2 days ago and 2 of my nails are chipped! Never had this problem before anywhere else.

What did I just pay for? I have bruising on my shins from the DEEP MASSAGE. Nail polish came off in one day. Painted my toes with super thick polish (not what I picked out) and seemed angry I smudged it when it wouldnt dry. No thanx.

Would give zero stars if it were an option; DO NOT go here, ESPECIALLY if you have a child. I took my four-year-old daughter to have her first pedicure. Unfortunately, it turned into a very disappointing experience. A male employee, not even working with us, but with another customers nails at the front of the business, walked back to our seat to verbally discipline her, making her cry. I was shocked. She was moving the chair message controller back and forth (shes four - seriously) and had stopped after I told her not to do it anymore. He felt the need to publicly reprimand her after shed stopped. Other customers witnessed the interaction and looked shocked as well. When I went to pay, I was informed that a woman had paid our bill - I suspect because she, too, felt the treatment was completely inappropriate and unfair.Furthermore, the chair was either broken or would not move forward, and when I asked if they would roll towels behind her back to give her extra-support (she has special needs and lacks balance, so maintaining that position in a chair for a long time is difficult), the tech ignored me. At one point during her pedicure, a man walked inside and her tech wandered around the store looking for something - leaving my child sitting there for about seven minutes without even any acknowledgement to either of us as to what she was doing or when shed return. Not the first experience Id hoped for her. Not kid friendly and certainly NOT special needs friendly. Horrible service, especially for my child.

They dont clean instrutments at all. They trimmed my cuticle, made it bleed, through trimmer back in drawer, like it was nothing. Im pretty sure dont clean the jets on foot bath either. Pretty nasty. SNS nail only lasts a few weeks they fall off. Wouldnt recommend this place. Health department needs to visit

I would give 0 stars if I could! The guy was rude, couldnt understand me, and wouldnt listen to what I wanted, just ignored me! And he did a horrible job painting my nails! I showed him a pic, he said he could do that, and my nails do not look like the pic, they look terrible! The nail polish is on there all uneven, he even got some on my skin! It looks like they were painted by someone who was in a huge rush, like he took no time on it and put no effort into it! Im so disappointed and dissatisfied with the whole experience! I was charged $35 for the worst nails Ive ever seen! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! U can see by looking at the rating of this place compared to others here in town how crappy this place is! If u really r going to go here, DO NOT let the older man with glasses do your nails!! He was terrible! And they do not get out clean tools or anything! This place is a joke, I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! And Ill never go back again! For your own good, do not waste your time or money at this place! Im going somewhere else to get these redone!!

Only giving one star because the lady was nice, but what I wanted was not what I got, not a week into my nails are chipping and coming off, wanted gel not acrylics. Way to pricey, and lied to about the prices over the phone. With $15 off certificate still paid $50 on top of that and extremely disappointed!

Was very pleased with my full set of acrylic nails! Zack was my nail technician, I highly recommend making an appointment with him.

The nail tech was rude to my daughter, charged a $3 tip to my card for himself without asking, and cut her finger (which I didn’t find out until after we left). My daughter said he cut it and then put the tool right back with the others. It was red and puffy before we got home. Unsanitary, rude, and overpriced. I should have checked reviews before I took her.

If I could give zero stars, I would! Avoid this place at all costs! She tried to use dirty tools I had to ask for clean ones and she got annoyed. She wouldnt use enough acetone and kept scrapingto the gel off of my nails which is damaging to the nail bed.Then she couldnt get the shape right. I wanted a rounded square, but what I got was round with an unintended high point on one side. Like diagonal! I kept showing her how to fix it (make it straight - not crooked) which meant she had to file more and more. So now my nails are way shorter than they should be.It was so bad that I finally just got up and left instead of waiting around to see how much worse it could get. The one in Lexington is great - and I had to go all the way up there to have them finish the job and fix the shape as best they could. The Richmond location is terrible, which is perplexing since theyre the same owners. I think the health department needs to drop in for a surprise inspection. I will never be here again!

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. The employees and manager were very rude and argumentative. I was charged $20 for an SNS REMOVAL in which all they did was soak my fingertips in acetone and remove the polish NOTHING ELSE. I am so disappointed and will never go back. Wish I didn’t even have to give them “1 star”!!!

Very disappointed in our pedi s. Also believe I was over charged. I tried to discuss this with the man I assume was the owner. It was to no avail. I just paid it to keep from having a scene. There price list should be posted to the public. Which I quickly pointed out to the man. Not sure i will ever use this salon again. As stated....VERY DISAPPOINTING ......adding to review.....07/20/18.....just wanted to add that our pedi s were for our beach trip. My husbands feet dont even look like he had had a pedi at all and my feet are not much better. Customers beware

I like this place its the only place I ever go to,but there is one guy there and he argued with me,I asked for him to make my nails long and he said no they would look weird make them short I hated them,the next time I went I asked for long nails again,he argued but finally did it,the next day at school everybody complimented on my nails,over all I like this place but I would suggest not going her if you get agitated easily

I would give zero stars if I could. Dirty. Every manicure or pedicure Ive had from there has been worthless. Pedicures with dirty tools that result in ingrown toenails. Manicures with portly painted nails that have been filed down to the nail bed. We have gone in to see one of the employees clipping his own toenails at his station. Also very expensive for such poor quality
