My package was suppose to be delivered Wednesday but has been changed multiple times. I have been emailing and calling to see what’s happening and basically they just deliver whenever they want too. I still have not received a call to set an appointment and no one was any help basically saying oh well. I even offered to pick my item up but it’s 700 pound and they wouldn’t even load it for me. I have received no updates on the progress or process they use. It is totally inconvenient and unprofessional.
I changed the delivery date knowing that I wont be able to come up to Virginia from Georgia.....SO I had my shipment tracking delivery date changed twice. Had to call numerous times to hear that the shipment delivery will be changed again. I dont understand....If the date says when it will be delivered online, I assume the delivery will arrive 100%. This is why I changed the date of delivery for a reason but knowing the delivery wasnt going to come on the date I changed was just disappointing...My team had to come up from Georgia for THINKING and KNOWING it will arrive on that date. DO NOT BELIEVE THE DATE ON THE WEBSITE FOR DELIVERY ( IT WILL COME LATE )......just sad
I use Estes Express with my LTL shipping needs. Never have any issues. Very friendly and responsive team.
Always polite and able to assist when I call. Response time is quick.We at Jedco will use them often for out LTL needs.
I will try an international shipment. If all goes well then this will be my new go-to.

With the exception of one lovely customer service lady, every aspect of my experience with Estes Final Mile was horrific. Emails from the company were wildly inconsistent with what it actually did, including an email I received at 8:15 a.m. stating that the delivery would be made between 4:15 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. — in the past and one driver who claimed to attempt a delivery when he did not.
I love shipping with Estes i know that my product will get to were it needs to. My sales rep. Is amazing and very helpful.
Worst experience on any freight shipping for the past 10 years and I ship about 20-30 LTL shipments a day, shipment is 11 days late than ETA. Lied to me every single day that it will get to the destination terminal and delivered the next day for 6 days straight. After it arrived at destination terminal they told me it cant go out because the trailer wasnt unloaded, even they marked the shipment hot a week ago. Lost a customer because of this shipment because of their horrific service. All my friends in shipping biz on linkedin will hear about this story.
In LTL no one is perfect and there will be problems that arise here and there. The majority of the time Estes has delivered our material without issue but when there has been problems I can count on my Rep. Kevin to handle the situation. Overhaul, they do a good for us.
They have poor customer service and they apparently do not know how to read or pick up on a date they agreed to. I spoke with DJ in the Time Critical he was a great help he is the only reason i give it 2 stars as a whole.

Had to pick up a shipment for a vendor that I sub contract installations. The item was broken completely in half and they rolled it out and said Here you go. When I pointed out the very evident destruction of the very expensive product which had a sign on it that said TREAT LIKE GLASS VERY FRAGILE, I was told by the extremely rude employee That is what happens to anything left here for more than 2 days, we have to move it! Evidently, you pay a damage tax if you dare to leave a shipment at their terminal for one extra day. Zero concern for the expensive product that was shipped through your company and made unsellable. Never use this company unless you like your stuff with holes and cracks in it.

I attempted to purchase composite fence planks from Home Depot. Unfortunately, Estes was the shipping firm. After they lost my order, and responded in a very rude, unprofessional manner to my inquiries to the whereabouts of my order, they suggested that I make Home Depot re-ship it. I cancelled the order through Home Depot instead. I did not have time to wait several more weeks for my order, so I took my business elsewhere. Now, Estes is trying to bill me for nearly THREE TIMES the cost of the order!Just out of curiosity, I clicked the shipment tracking link on the original order confirmation email a few minutes ago. Apparently, Estes still thinks they will be delivering the freight on September 1st, a full month after the order went late - and a few weeks after I cancelled through Home Depot.
I bought a Playground set from Sams Club, unfortunately they used Estes for delivery! Yesterday (friday 5th) we received 3 of 4 boxes, when I called Estes, a woman answered and I told her I only received 3 boxes and she said in a very unprofessional voice “yeah is here, someone can deliver to you on monday” I told her that we needed the package this weekend since the people building the playset are coming this weekend, so she responded: “It’s here, you can come get it”. I felt frustrated because it is not my problem that they forgot to put everything on the truck, Sams Club paid for the shipping and it is not fair that I didnt get all the pieces delivered at the same time! I will filled a complaint with Sams club about this awful service.Sent from my iPhone
You hit the nail on the head with that one! I was supposed to be a new hire with them,and was riding with another driver for three nights,but I wasnt allowed to drive yet,because their headquarters hadnt provided me with a log-in name,and password. I had given my former employer over a months notice,and so Estes had that much notice as well.I had trouble with my cell phone providers network,as their local tower had taken a direct lightning strike,and I was only able to send one message out before the whole thing went down,(unknown to me for close to a week)! But the Manager of the South Bend,Indiana terminal was very unprofessional,and wouldnt even look into it,he just said; youre not available for re-hire. My former Manager at Moran Transportation was very well aware of the situation,as she had been trying to contact me without any success,and when he was informed of this,he chose to ignore it also!!! Its unfortunate that I had to post this with even a single star rating,as being treated this way deserves no stars at all!!!
I was in business for 30 + years with over 800 employees, if I treated customers the way this company did Id have been out of business. The customer service with this Estes company was so terrible Im surprised they are still in business !! I dealt with the Medford, OR operation the manager there Tammy lied not once on my delivery but three times and I finally had to call the corporate office in Richmond for help. Unless management changes I WOULD NOT recommend this company .

This company is a disgrace! We shipped 2 pallets to a customer in Arizona with an estimated delivery of 4 days. 13 days later the customer still didnt receive the shipment missing the convention that it was intended for. After we found an alternate customer to take the load in the same city, Estes sent it all the way back to Topeka, KS for redelivery to our warehouse. But before they would ship it back to us, they held the product hostage requiring us to pay $3500 before we could get it back. The original quote was about $500 and the product is only worth about $4000. For a lack of better words... Estes is a joke!

The people all the way from the Miami terminal [Esther], to the 800# to a corporate secretary by the last name Green were an appalling experience. All these wasted payroll for people that cant think outside their low 5th grade IQ. Obviously this people cant be of a service to small businesses and rest assure as we grow that we wont use them either
Very poor service, Delivery guy didnt help to put furniture inside. I asked for help but he just left heavy furniture on sidewalk with pallet.i asked him to take at least pallet back and he reject it and left it.
