When I first came to Gina over a year ago I was the typical injury prone distance runner that hated yoga. I started out struggling with most everything, the results were slow at first, however I was noticing that I was healthier in my legs and hips as my running improved. Now not only do I use it at least twice a week as a must have part of my running schedule to keep me healthy and improve muscle imbalances, but I have noticed a huge difference in my overall fitness as an athlete as it has improved my flexibility, strength, and balance overall as well.
I have been doing Ginas DDP Yoga for a few weeks now. I am very experienced with weight training and nutrition but my mobility was something I always ignored.... Until now! I have been shocked and delighted with the results. In a very short time, my mobility has increased significantly and my lower back pain is disappearing. Gina is extremely knowledgable, motivating, kind, and makes class so fun that youll never want to miss. I cannot say enough good things about her and her classes. If you are on the fence- try it! You will thank yourself later.
I have watched Gina transform the lives of many people through personal training, DDP Yoga, and martial arts. She took the approach of get a degree from EKU in Fitness and Wellness Management, instead of a simple certification you can earn in a weekend. Ive been with Gina for almost 2 years now, with her guidance as a personal trainer I have been able to drop 9 sizes and I have lost over 75 pounds. She has helped me become leaner while building my strength and leaning to control my nutrition :) I now do personal training as well as her MMA Fitness Bootcamp and DDP Yoga classes all of which are amazing.
