Aksinia took in my wedding dress to fit a little better on the top. She also hemmed and added a bustle so I would not drag on the floor during the reception. I wouldnt have known that was an option without her!

I’ve gone several times to have different articles of clothing (pants, my high school prom dress, etc.) altered and have always experienced friendly service, fast turnaround, and supreme alterations.My prom dress had a deep neck line that I wanted to close, but I was worried it would be obvious I had gotten alterations done. However, they did such a great job that it looked as if that’s how it had been made in the first place. I also had my very delicate Chinese qipao dress’s sleeves altered with AG and they turned out perfect!

Aksinia knows what she is doing! My daughter had a formal gown that needed to be shortened and while we were there she noticed that in order for the dress to sit properly with the crinoline, fabric needed to be added to the dress underlining. Told me to go to the fabric store and buy a yard of fabric so she could add it to the dress. Dress was tailored perfectly. Reasonable prices and reasonable time frame to complete the work.

I arrived at 1105, knocked on the door. I came in to a room full of people staring at me. I asked is this by appointment? She said yes. No where on the website or the sign out front does it state By appointment only. I hope this is not another Black Thing SMH...I will go elsewhere.

Wonderful customer service when just getting an estimate for drastic alterations on my wedding dress. I came in on a busy Saturday and saw her completed work on other customers and how happy and pleased they were as they picked up their garments I felt instantly at ease when it became apparent that she is a seasoned and talented pro who had no qualms about my various requests. She explained to me exactly what changes need to be made to make my dress fit me perfectly. I am very petite and short and my dress is made for someone 4-5 inches taller. I. CANNOT. Speak highly enough of this woman. Just left my second (and last) fitting and I am floored. I gave her a wedding dress that was about 5 or 6 sizes too big and now it just looks like part of my body. Nothing about this dress looks altered. All of the beautiful, intricate details (which Im sure werent easy) are intact, and the seams are perfectly straight. It only took her one try and it was ready before I was. Best seamstress in Richmond.

She was transparent and helpful throughout the fitting process, taking a strapless wedding gown that was several sizes too big and returning one that looked like it was made for me with straps that looked like they were made for my dress.
