Excellent personal customer service!In all my interactions with Rockland, I have found their team of professionals to be very knowledgeable and responsive. As a new homeowner, I particularly appreciate being able to communicate to a professional who will take the time to personally respond to my questions and concerns - a trait which is increasingly unique, as other large agencies move to automate their customer service with chatbots and FAQs!

Called these guys back in June to renew my home owners insurance. Its now August 10th and I just found out that my insurance EXPIRED... I contacted Rockland and the lady said that its not their fault it expired and that they can not reinstate it. No phone call, no email. NOTHING. So, now I have to shop around for a new company since apparently I cant rely on Rockland to renew my policy every year...

My agent Kent is absolutely great. He is helpful, knowledgeable, very warm, and accommodating. Therefore, the above rating reflects Progressive’s performance and not Kent’s performance. Kent gets 5 stars. Progressive, however, was not very friendly. Although they reinstated my renter’s policy, they have yet to take responsibility or even apologize for cancelling my policy in error. That hurts and certainly is not a good impression. I left Allstate after being a customer since the 90’s if I recall correctly. So, I’m sure you can only imagine my thoughts when they cancelled my policy leaving me without coverage for several days.

I am not sure what is going on with Rockland insurance, their service went down the hill in last couple of years. As they grew their customer service went down. If I could give them 0 star I would give them 0.When I was refinancing my home relaized we were under insured and asked for a coverage increase and they could not get it done they told me insurance company denied it, I called the insurance company they said they did not denied it they new paper work and they asked from Rockland and rockland did not send it to them, I called Rockland back and after 5 weeks they get it done and by than it was too late. I got new insurance in the mean time to not to miss my low rate on the refi. After this I sent few emails to Rockland to cancel both my policies, after one month they still did not cancelled my policies and my bank account had been withdrawn again. I had to deal with the insurance companies myself to get the cancellation done, worse part is insurance companies want you to deal with your agent and I had to explain to them that I tried and I cannot get them to do it. I am a Realtor and a Loan Officer over the years I referred them lots of clients, I just hope they did not and they wont treat my referrals same way.

They were great getting me a good rate and explaining to me what I needed to do. They are very responsive and professional. I highly recommend them!!! Look forward to working with Johnathan in the future

Great service from Joseph. Put together a quote fast, meeting and exceeding in many spots my current coverage with another insurer I had, that carried a much much higher premium. He saved me almost 50%.He sent the forms to start gn, got payment and had me done in less than a few hours in one email and one phone call.I cant see how you can possibly do better than that!!Id say your crazy not to at least give him or Rockland 10minutes of your time to run the numbers and shop around. Right now any extra money is truly welcome money.

I kept my home owners Insurance with my friend for over 14 years. The rates went up this summer I asked him to shop it around. He came back with higher quotes so I accepted the rate increase. While working on a Refinance in September, I contacted Rockland and got a text within minutes. I gave the agent my information and was given a quote quickly that saved me over $600 a year. The service and team are excellent!

They canceled my insurance saying there was a big dog on my property and I do not own a big dog. That being said I was charged $560.00 for something they made up and now I have to suffer. I was penalized for not having continuous insurance. During the time of COVID!!! They canceled MY INSURANCE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. The lady asked my wife for permission to go to the back yard and when she was there she saw damage that was there when I purchased the house. I have pictures and videos from when the previous owners allowed us to walk through and I will be talking to a lawyer...

This company does not care about people, only writing insurance. These people cost me a lot of money. They were suppose to write a particular policy and wrote something different than what I was told. I trusted them to provide the coverage I thought I was paying for. The winter storm came, I sustained damages and didnt have full coverage. They will not take ownership of of what they did wrong. The agent will not even give me the courtesy of talking to me, neither will any of the CEOs. You will only get to speak to an agent, maybe, if you are persistent. They will ( well maybe) talk to you when it is time to write a new policy or renew. Their customer service is poor. You have to stay on hold for a very long time. These issues were an issue even before the winter storm. Find another company.

Patricia David is an insurance goddess! I had spent literally almost a week searching for affordable insurance and was just about to cave in and go through the TWIA. I made contact with Patricia and shortly thereafter she saved the day by finding me coverage for half of what it would have cost through the TWIA. My wife and I are insurance savvy and have 60 plus years in multi-line but still had issues on securing coverage for a beach home till Patricia and Rockland Insurance. I’ve been with another major carrier for forty years and now will allow Rockland to bid on all our other risks. The customer service and quality are par excellence!

I had never heard of this insurance company, but my mortgage lender recommended them. The price was much cheaper than other providers we had used. So far we haven’t had to make any claims, but with the ongoing bad weather they consistently check up on us and have pre-emergency services put in place. So far so good.

They were very honest and quick. I’m certainly glad to have them as our new agency. You too can trust and count on them.

Not sure what is going on with Rockland but they have definitely gone down hill in the last year or so. You cannot get anyone to even answer the phone. If you leave a message you may or may not get a return call. I left a message about canceling my policy as I had moved and got no return call. I did get an email several days later asking for a copy of my closing statement in order to cancel my policy. I am not comfortable giving them that kind of information just to cancel my policy! When I tried to call again to let them know that I wasnt comfortable with sending that, couldnt get through again. This company needs to step up to the plate or they are going to continuously lose customers. Rockland, you are in the customer service industry, act like it!

All I can say is Patricia and team (Angie, Leslie, Micah) has been consistently providing excellent service to me and my clients. Very affordable insurance and all the time, Patricia will beat the quotes. They are also prompt in replying to all my emails and phone calls. If you need insurance, you should try them and you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend them.

Weve been Rockland clients since 2014. Rockland was great at getting my coverage in place when purchasing my home. Most other traditional insurers werent willing to give us the coverage we were looking for but the guys at Rockland did the right research and found a way to get it done. Customer service has downhill lately. I am using them since last five years now. They used to be very responsive and care taking, not any more. Now it takes forever to get hold of anyone there. They never return your call, regardless of how many VM you left for them.
