I usually dread going to the dentist but I just went to Modern Dental for the first time and I’m so glad to find my new permanent dentist! The office feels so clean and inviting and the staff and dental team were all incredible. My hygienist put me at ease and walked me through everything and made the whole process quick and easy. Highly recommend!

I’m always very anxious about going to the Dentist, but even making my appointment over the phone I felt welcomed. My first appointment was today and I will definitely be going back for future cleanings, staff is wonderful and friendly, I didn’t feel nervous the entire time I was there. I have always had the worst anxiety about going to the dentist. I pushed off going to the dentist for 8 years because I’ve had the worst experiences, so you could say I was already going into my appointment with a bad mindset. The staff immediately made me feel so comfortable to be there! Mindset already changed before going back to see the Doctor. I will definitely be returning to modern dental but this time not wait 8 years.

My dad recommended Dr Kim because he is significantly closer than the dentist I had been going to and knew that their office would not try to upsell me on procedures I didn’t absolutely need. Not only that, but dad is a sales rep for their office and knows that they have some of the best and modern equipment and they’re skilled in using it!Dr Kim and staff are wonderful. I haven’t needed any major work done so usually it’s a routine cleaning, I can never remember how long the appointment is going to be but I never feel like I’ve waited long.

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Kim and his staff. I used to have terrible fear when I went to the dentist, and had to be sedated for bigger procedures. Dr. Kim is very calming, and fantastic at administering the numbing agent. If you need a crown? No worries, there’s no wait for a permanent crown, he makes it while you wait. Seriously leaps and bounds above the old way of sending a mold to a lab. I love Modern Dental, and they truly ARE modern!

Modern Dental was a great experience for me as I was changing dentists for the first time in 30 years. From the first initial call of setting up an appointment the staff was extremely helpful and caring to the visit where Dr. Kim took his time with me to walk through my options. Friendly, efficient, and scientific. Twenty first century technology at work.Walked in at 8 AM with two bad teeth; after 2 1/2 hours, I walked out with brand new upper front tooth, and molar crowns. Drove 120 miles home, and arrived before 2 PM. East Texas dentists will take two months, to produce, and affix a crown, after the tooth is ground! So, go and see Dr. Kim for your oral surgery, and related needs.

I couldn’t get the service performed so I went down the street was much easier.

I have already been to three of my regular check ups at Modern Dental so far, and the experiences have been extremely positive each time! The staff is always super nice and attentive, and they make you feel welcome. For one of my appointments I needed a cavity filled in, and Dr. Kim was incredibly quick. I honestly couldnt believe how fast it got done, and of course, zero pain or discomfort. Julie, Dr. Kims dental hygienist, is also incredibly nice and does an awesome job.

From the first phone inquiry I made, the staff here have provided a warm, helpful, and competent experience. I have had multiple appointments, after treatments with other dentists in the Dallas area, and the technology here is most impressive. Instead of showing you a fuzzy gray x-ray, you can see an HD photo of any cavities from their awesome wand camera. Dr. Kim thoroughly explains procedures and was willing to answer my questions in-depth without talking down to patients as some doctors do.

Dr.Kim and his staff are amazing.My experience was actually pleasant as I received four crowns in four hours with less then ten seconds of minimal discomfort. Exceptional care was given to my concerns with results that are beyond what I was hoping for. The office staff and dental assistants were kind, knowledgeable and very reassuring during the whole process. The reason for my first visit was for a second opinion on my dental plan and total cost of the work I was in need of. I know I shouldnt pick favorites, but Ive been coming to Dr. Kim for about 6ish years now, and Nikki has always made me feel so comfortable. She explains each step of the process, and really provides an excellent patient experience. Jen at the front desk is always super patient with all my questions about insurance, treatment plans, and they really do advocate for their patients on that front. Most people avoid the dentist, is it weird that I look forward to it now?? 10/10 Recommend!

I love this office! Staff is great with wonderful bedside manner. Easy to schedule. Automatic appointment reminders and text confirmation. Easy to get to just of George Bush and the 75. They won’t tell me what kind of air fresheners they use but it always smells amazing and I want to use their system in my house! Lol. Everything is clean. Clinic was nice. Hygienist seemed thorough and knowledgeable. The dentist spent about 1 min examining my teeth. Although I can’t do X-rays right now, for my first time meeting him, the visit just felt a bit abrupt.

My wife and I had been looking for a new dentist and we came across Modern Dental because its near where we live and had great reviews on Google. I had a routine cleaning done by Bethany and she was great! I hate when Im asked a ton of questions that I cant answer because I have my mouth wide open, and Bethany actually made nice conversation without making me feel weird about communicating. She also did a great job getting my X-rays (these always hurt for me) and cleaning my teeth and gums. Every other employee I came into contact with was friendly and seemed like they genuinely enjoyed working there. Dr. Kim was very nice and didnt try to talk me into extra (non-needed) work like many Dentists do. Everything was great! We definitely found our new dentist
