These guys are the best place to get an oil change. They not only change your oil, but they check other things that need routine maintenance and let you know what else needs done to keep your car in good shape. Plus they vacuum the inside for you! Beau was super helpful and provided great service!

Bo and his whole team go out of their way each time to make sure you are aware of the status of your car and what is being done to it.They dont push you to buy things. Came in this morning to get an oil change before I go on a long trip. Was greeted and seen to immediately. The employees were nice and kept me updated throughout the service. The location was clean. Wait time wasn’t too bad considering I was a “walk-in”. Great experience and there wasn’t any attempt to up sell me from the employees. Will be back when I need an oil change or service again.

Full Synthetic oil Change included 16 point check. Brake Pads were okay, fluids were okay except for oil that needed changing. Filters inside & out okay. At checkout the tech went over everything. I was very impressed with Staff and Service. There is a waiting area with very comfortable chairs and flat-screen Tv and magazines with Excellent Kerieg Coffee and Pastries. There is a Uni-sex well appointed, clean bathroom.I hope, you give Grease Monkey a Try. Very, very impressive ! Ive included photos of inside & outside.

Team was wonderful informed me that the compliment to beverages inside offered to bring them to me. Service my be able in a timely and efficient manner as well as letting me know what I needed to update and fix in my vehicle, as well as what was currently doing super well. Honestly the best service Ive gotten on my car. I had my oil changed in a huge time crunch and they accomplished it in less than 20 minutes and helped me clear up my headlights. Its seriously great

Private inspection deemed recommended service as wholly unnecessary.I was about to go on a 12 hour car trip, when they told me that needed a brake and rotor replacement. I agreed on the brake pads and swallowed my doubt. It lingered inside me for a year until I bought my own rotors and brake pad bundle. I called them up and asked them for a labor appraisal and they gave me the $200 plus price tag like in 2019, this was 2020, so instead of lowering the price,let me talk with my managerwas followed by the same exact price.So, labor and parts are the same as labor in my case?I decided to talk to my Bishop and he taught me how to change my own oil and glanced at my rotors after helping remove a single tire and realized nothing wrong on all four rotors.“You’ve got years left on these”I was shocked and now have expensive rotors sitting in my college apartment, collecting dust.Grease Monkey? The fast food of auto service centers, except it’s not even offering a good product -it’s dishonest care.

Grease monkey is awesome! I got there and they immediately came to my car and asked what services I was there for. There were a few cars in front of me but they were quick and thorough! They were very accommodating, they offered their lobby to sit and wait or allowed me to stay in the car. They did an oil change and topped off all my other fluids, as well as cleaned my windshields and my headlights! You guys, my headlights were horribly grungy and after they cleaned them, it looks like a new car! I shouldve taken before and after photos. 10/10 would recommend!!

Extraordinary customer service. Beau and two more technicians called me by my name, explained my options, did not pressure me, and showed me all the services that they did for me to be sure I was satisfied. They even opened the door for me. The waiting room was clean and they provided drinks and popcorn. They performed professional service promptly and at a fair price. I thought my brake light was out but they found it was just loose. They easily could have charged me for a light I didn’t need, but they were honest with me. As I said, extraordinary customer service. I could not have been more pleased.

I post this review from my Fiancées account. I was working on my truck and I wasnt able to drop the transmission pan. Some of the gasket material fell inside the pan. I towed the truck here with the help of a friend and Grease Monkey was able to drop the pan, clean it up, and finish the job. They even let me use the fluids and filter I had from the local auto parts store. They did a great job and now my truck works great!

Can’t confirm it happened here but 2 days after getting tires rotated my husband discovered our spare tire (which they rotated for us) was hanging on by 1 bolt. This is why I still give a 4 star review. Just saying it had all the bolts in it when I got there.

They did a great job. I got there right at 6 and they still took care of me. As I work early morning to late night this was a huge help.

I thought it was great that the service was done the day I called for a 3 hr job. I needed it done that day and they delivered. The only problem was that it was quoted for less time than it took but I wasn’t in any hurry. Just glad they could take my car in! Thank you!

I had chosen the lane I wanted. Was told my time would start when service was started. I noticed later my lane was changed and a car that came after me was put in my place and entered before my car did. I had studied my last suggestion sheet and determined I should change my air filter and cabin filter. Was shown the filters and I asked what the recommended change time was. The tech had no answer for me. I did not change the filters. But he told me I had more than 100,000 miles on it. To find out that my mileage was misrepresented by 100,000 miles. He told me he would correct it, but did not. At the end, I was told my coolant was low. Not a fluid you top off. I asked the tech if was a problem. Was told it wasnt too bad. I did not pay the$10 to top it off.We spent the winter months on Texas and Island Park in summer. We waited to have you do the work. Not happy with results

Super great every time I’ve gone. I’ve been going every 3 months for the last two years. At the beginning I had just gotten an older Mini Cooper (2006), and the first few times they kept pointing out everything that needed replacing. I was concerned since I am a female that I was being taken advantage of. But I am happy to report that as I slowly had parts replaced and got the car into a better working condition, they don’t ask me about replacements as much. So now when they do mention something I feel confident that that needs to be replaced soon and it’s not just a sales tactic. There was even one time where I was driving a ton and put a lot of miles on my car within a short amount of time, so I wanted to get my car maintenanced more often. Grease Monkey legit asked me if I was sure I wanted to get this done because my car wasn’t due for a change yet.

They just gained 2 more customers! We went to get our oil changed and in return received extremely friendly, honest, and great service. We came in on a Monday evening and the area was a mess. There was popcorn everywhere and the kids were spreading toys all over the ground. Moments after the mom and her 5 kids left there was a coworker in there sweeping, wiping down the counter, and putting toys away. They really care about the atmosphere they have and tried to make it a great experience for everyone there.

Service was prompt and I don’t know if my car has ever been cleaned that good when getting my car serviced—it was pretty tidy when they finished. I also appreciated the summary I received afterwards of my car’s “health” and the kindness and respect of all the employees I interacted with.

I highly recommend using Grease Monkey. They provide quality service. They were willing to go above and beyond to make sure I was safe in getting back on the road, my brakes were completely shot and grinding. I was very impressed with their quick knowledgeable diagnosis, and even more impressed that they will take you back into the shop and let you see the problem. They don’t work until you know and give the approval to do so! They are awesome in working with college students.

The AC was acting up in my car, found a coupon for Grease Monkey to get it checked and recharged, there staff was very thorough and professional and I will definitely be returning in the future.

They were fast and helpful and kind and overall just really great. i was especially happy with how fast they finished my oil change. the only thing is, at the end, they couldn’t get my warning light to reset and turn off. he tried it, then got someone else to try. the second guy tried for a couple seconds, then said “i don’t know how to do this” and just gave up! i just wish that they could have fixed that or learned how to since i was paying them for their service.

The service at Rexburg IDs Grease Monkey was exceptional. I was a visitor from out of town in difficult circumstances. The bracket bolt between my 92 Geo Metros water pump and alternator had broken, so the fan belt (overtightened by a previous mechanic) did not drive either properly. Grease Monkeys mechanics took my car in almost immediately, patiently listened to my descriptions of the problem (and suggestions for repair), then replaced the broken bolt in the reverse manner needed. Seven weeks later, its working great. They went far out of their way to help; thanks to Matt and the others at Grease Monkey for their competency and customer service. I am grateful!

What they did was great. I’m just mad because all I asked for was an oil change. And they gave me way more than that. So that’s cool that they did that for me, but I didn’t want to pay for it. So I was a little upset. I’ll make sure I’m extra clear next time with exactly what I want, so I don’t pay $60 for an oil change next time

I was a little worried coming to Grease Monkey due to some of the negative reviews, but they definitely earned my business for the rest of the time I’ll be in Rexburg. The crew was very friendly, they didn’t try to sell me more products (they offered but said I didn’t really need it), and they even reached out and asked how my experience was. I highly recommend them!I would give them a 5/5 but wish the price was just a little lower. Even with that, I won’t be taking my car anywhere else!

I was in and out quick. Unlike other mechanics I did not feel pressured to get things I did not need and everyone was helpful and nice.

I needed a pretty deep rock chip repaired, they did great! Super friendly and helpful. I appreciated the chance to sit in my car rather than the lobby. Everyone was very professional even in the bay. If Rexburg was my normal place to go I would make them my permanent car servicer.

Truthfully, I usually get my oil changed at another place in town, but they were closed today and I needed an oil change before we left town! I am SO happy I came to Grease Monkey. Beau helped me and I liked that he didnt try to BS me into stuff my car doesnt actually need. I love the guarantee that if they go over an allotted time they knock money off your service! And it was really the little things- they vacuumed the inside of my car, wiped down my windows, and made sure they werent wasting my time! I usually dont recommend chains like this but they have my business forever now!

I went to grease monkey 2 days ago for an oil change and was beyond impressed with the service! The staff was so kind and Beau and Harmony went above and beyond to make my visit awesome! I had my 2 young kids with me who were being crazy (of course) and everybody that saw them waved and made them smile at least once. Harmony came into the waiting area and entertained my daughter so I was able to go see my car and sign paperwork without her being in the garage area. There was a chip in the windshield that needed to be repaired and Beau dealt with insurance and just made sure that everything was as easy as possible for me and I am so very grateful! I will continue to go there as long as I live in rexburg!

Beau, Im sorry to have to put your staff on notice like this but it was the worst visit I have had there in all the years I have been using Grease Monkeys service...the staff was standing around visiting an not attentive, my wind shield washer fluid was completely empty when I got home to Boise. This is not the high standard I am use to when visiting your establishment. I hope this review is shared with staff to help keep your establishment running at a high level of service.

Beau and his co workers did an amazing job on my vehicle. Thanks to them they found an old mouse nest in cabin filter thatall other places ive taken my car for full check ups missed.
