Thanks so much! Had a leak in a bathroom behind the wall. They were availble right away. Called at 9:30am and they said between 10-2pm. Was just happy they were available the same day. Were at my place by 10:20 and Im 30 minutes out of any big town. Curt had his mask on, was very friendly, looked at the situation and gave me a price that to me, was great and less than I expected. My pipes are old and I think it was more challenging than expected, but Curt got it taken care of no problem. Was just grateful they were available same day and they took care of my issue so fast, and Curt was great! Definitely recommended.

I called, they refused to give any prices on the phone (probably some out of state call-center), they said a guy will arrive to give a free estimate, they said they are busy and could only schedule in 4 days, when my day arrived and at the end of my time window the call-center calls and told me they have to cancel because of another work that took too long, so I had to reschedule for another day (got a morning time window), when the day finally arrived they called again that the guy will be late because of another job, when evening arrived the guy named Kevin calls (first time I dont talk with call-center), they guy sounded like the Italian Mob: I charge $650 for arriving, up to one hour, not including tax, I give no guarantee I will succeed to unclog your downspout drain, if I dont I can give you 30% discount, I will not arrive if you dont agree to this (there goes the free estimate). Ive asked if he is willing to charge $300 per hour or give any discount but he refused.When he described the work he is going to do, he said: We use no cameras they get broken when used in the drain with the jet, we dont even use a rotating snake (like Spartan), we just put 1,000 psi hose!IMO that a rubbery by a plumbing company that is all hot air full of marketing and very little professional, honest pricing.

I had a clogged downspout. I was quoted $800 for 2 hours of work, thought it was way high but they were there and I wanted to fix it. The pipe was unclogged in 25min, and a connection was not put back. When I asked for a reduction of price I was told it was not possible. It felt as an outrageous act of taking advantage of customers. I called the companys office and I was told a would call me back, but they did not call. Be aware. Cannot recommend them.Dec 30 UPDATE: Exchanged email with Pat Swanson as per message below. But still no call from the company. Somehow confirming they do not do what they said they would do, bit of empty promises.

12/24/20. Still no call from the area supervisor. They reply to bad reviews to make it seem like they care. Dont be fooled. Find another place to do your business.There flat rate of $275.00 is in my opinion is just wrong. It took them 5 minutes to unclog my toilet. They gave me 10% off but neglected to advise me of the $75.00 off coupon they have on there web site. There flat fee service is a rip off. I called in and ask they why they did not offer the $75.00 off coupon and they said it is not up to the people that work for them to understand the promotions they are offering.12/12/20: The response from the owner below never came I replied to his message and he never responded.

We were having issues with our plumbing with water coming up a downstairs sink and out of the washing machine stand pipe. We called Roto-Rooter and were very happy with the decision. Moe arrived when promised and the dispatch team kept us up to date. Moe diagnosed and fixed the problem and we’re back in business. Really appreciate the quick, courteous service.

We had trouble with our washing machine on Sunday that turned out to be more than just a clogged filter. Some mystery black rubber bits that were probably a gasket somewhere came out when we flushed the hot water line, and then the hot water valve froze in the open position on Monday. We called in the morning and they got there within two hours on a long holiday weekend. They charged what I feel is a reasonable price for the service, wore a mask and maintained social distancing. Great service. I havent used them for non-emergency work, but they were good in an emergency.

This is the 2nd time I’ve used Roto Rooter Seattle. Both times they were quick to schedule (even over Thanksgiving), friendly, professional, and quality work. They told me the price beforehand and actually stuck to it. I’ve been very pleased with their service all the way around.

Scott was incredibly professional and friendly with us. He was careful to clean up after himself and explained any questions we had quickly and professionally. He also explained exactly what he had done to fix the clog and what we could do to prevent it from happening again. If there are any more plumbing issues we will be requesting Scott again, give that man a raise!

He was very efficient, he also sent a link to me about some mesh screens he recommended we use. He also brought a maintenance product, and demonstrated how to use it. Highly recommend Roto Rooter.

This location of Roto-Rooter responded to my neighbors property for an unknown plumbing issue. While there the Driver of the Roto-Rooter vehicle struck several portions of the adjoining fence that my Neighbor and I share. The driver did not stay, I discovered the damage and contacted my neighbor. Later that day the Roto-Rooter driver called me to state he believed he was the one that caused the damage and I told him he in fact was. His initial plan was to arrive shortly after our phone conversation to assess the damage, however I had already sent my neighbors pictures which Im assuming she sent to them as well. Shortly after that phone call he called me back to tell me he was going to come two days later to assess the damage. We have two very large dogs that we like to let roam in the front yard and now cannot do that since there are two large portions of the fence unsecured. I did not like the direction the company was going so I asked to speak to a manager, who did call later that day and leave me a voicemail that a contractor from fence company would arrive The next day but no time given. That next day at approximately 2:00 p.m. I got a phone call back from earlier phone calls requesting what time the fence contract was supposed to arrive. I then found out that he had already arrived and gave his opinion that the fence was old and apparently floating without any support. My neighbor and I were not aware that we had a magic fence but we both agree we had a fence that was secured and intact. Speaking with the manager further he insinuated that any repair would be outside the scope of the damage that was done. My wife and I were not pleased with that, nor my neighbor. We contacted King County Sheriffs Department and completed a report. We are now going to seek civil damages as well through our attorney. I do not recommend this location whatsoever based on this experience and lack of accountability.

The service technician, Sam Deirdar, was very nice. Service was prompt, thorough, and on short notice. I was left with a preventative maintenance treatment to use on my pipes weekly to prevent this from becoming an issue again and Sam gave me detailed instructions on how to use this treatment, as well as other best practices to prevent clogging.

We had a very skilled plumber with years of experience fix a leak under our kitchen sink, replace a 40 year old toilet, and get our ice maker working after a faulty previous job left it useless. Due to our townhouse being older William did a fabulous job thinking outside the box to solve some funky plumbing problems. A less experienced plumber would have freaked at the condition of the toilet pipe. We felt like we were in good hands with William and Roto Rooter.

Had an issue come up on a Sunday morning. Daniel came out the same day and fixed the problem. Daniel was great, he was courteous, informative, and very professional. When the job was done he cleaned everything up. The price was very fair and I look forward to referring Roto-Rooter and Daniel to anyone in need of plumbing services.

Scott was very Informative before he attempted to clear the drain. Then after three or four attempts he was able to completely clear the drain. He also recommended actions to take to ensure that it is unlikely to happen again.

This was a weekend emergency call for a water leak flowing onto the floor from under the dishwasher.The time from phoning Roto-Rooter to their arrival time was about one hour – very quick.The journeyman plumber recognized the problem immediately. We just bought a home and had issues with shower drains backing up. Roto Rooter came out the same day we called and cleared the pipe that was causing the issue. It was great getting this unexpected issue resolved in such a short amount of time.

Scott came to unclog our laundry drain, but also gave me an education on how to help all our drains stay clear! He went into detail explaining why our drains were having issues (age of the house and design) and how with just a few changes, we could maintain clearer drains throughout the whole house. He was very thorough in clearing the blockage, checking our upstairs sink, the laundry sink, and two additional drains. He left the area he worked in cleaner than when arrived too! We will be using them again.

I dont know what other companies charge. But this was the only company that answered my call. I left messages with 2 other companies, that didnt even return my call for 2hrs. By that time, the technician was at my home and had my two bathroom sinks up and running.

We unfortunately have a problematic sewer within our first 1 year of owning the home. Giovanni came out at a short notice and was able to clear the line as best as possible and explain what seems to be the problem. He additionally helped us understand the best and most cost effective options which was to reline the sewer which we will start looking into. Thanks for the help on short notice and taking care of the emergency blockage in such a fast manner. Giovanni was very professional and helpful!

The fee structure is not apparent in the slightest so it feels like you’re at the mercy of whatever number the technician throws out. Which was exorbitant based on the five minutes it took to fix it. I felt like I was being played.

I had both kitchens backed up. My husband remove the P-trap and gallons of water gushed out below the sink. Their call center gave me a four hour time frame but I followed up soon soon after with a 30 minute notice. Received a quote for work and supplies.No it was an amazing amount of grease buildup in the pipes. I got a six-month guarantee and a fully functioning kitchen sink on a Saturday morning. Yeah!

We found a leak in our water heater and called Roto Rooter on Saturday morning. William (#1709) showed up in just an hour, immediately identified the problem, and started working right away. I had a water leak and the valve to shut off the water supply to the toilet didn’t work. Go figure lol. I called and got an appointment the same day. He came early which was a plus. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Came and fixed the problem and checked for any damage from the leak. There was water showing up on his gadget around the toilet and in front of my vanity. He called another coworker and he is already on the way to assess the problem before my plumber left my house. I was scared of possible mold. My son who has asthma really doesn’t do well around mold. So this is wonderful and greatly reduces the stress of the health of my son. I would definitely have them come over again.

He gave me good esitmates for all work done before starting work. I now have two working toilets. I didnt realize there was a problem with second toilet as I never use it.

Initially this did not get off to the best start. I scheduled a technician to arrive between 9am and 1pm (?!?!) but as 1pm rolled by no one had arrived. It was about 1:30pm that time that the dispatch center called to apologize and let me know that the technician was running behind and they would let me know when he was leaving the previous job. About an hour later dispatch called to make sure it was still ok to send over the technician. I agreed and the technician arrived less than 30 minutes later.Upon arrival the technician, Marin, kindly introduced himself and was ready to get to work. After explaining the issue Marin felt he would be able to resolve our leaking hose bib. The price was quoted and there was no pressure to do the work but he said he was ready to start if I was. Feeling the price was fair I had him start the work. Marin took his time waiting for all the water to drain from the pipes before proceeding. He started to replace the hose bib only to find out he would have to go in the house to complete the job. He came in and prepped to have a clean work space. He explained each step to me to make sure I understood what he was doing and why. Once the wall under our sink was open to access the hose pipe he found a bit of a mess of older plumbing. He told me that he would not feel comfortable leaving without bringing the pipe section up to proper code but explained it would cost a little more before moving on. He then made a full update of the piping being careful to prep the area to avoid bad solders and fires from the torch. He then cleaned up the area where he was working and tested the work to make sure there were no leaks and everything was running correctly. Marin on several occasions had to let dispatch know he would be taking more time in order to complete the job right and to code. I was very happy with Marins professionalism and the pride he took in his work. He even worked with me a little on the price considering the job, if done correctly when the house was built, should have been quick and easy. I would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter and specifically Marin looking to get some plumbing work done. I will not hesitate to call them again if I need plumbing work done in the future.
