We were in the market for some hardwood flooring. We shopped around at all the stores in Reno looking for a quality product at a good price. There were several stores with cheap stuff and then there were stores that werent reasonably price and there were stores that didnt know what they were doing.We visited Quality Floors 4 Less when we were down at Costco one day. Dennis was one of the most knowledgeable individuals we spoke with in regards to flooring. He was most helpful in explaining what we needed and costs. We got an awesome product and at a great price.If youre in the market for flooring, my wife and I highly recommend this store for any flooring needs you may have. They also have a great showroom with lots to compare and choose from.

When I visited the store, the owner was knowledgeable and extremely helpful in selecting exactly what I needed for a high traffic area of my home. His staff (or subcontractors) were able to install everything in a day; however, in their haste, it seemed the overall pride in their work was lacking.Being a detail-oriented person by trade, I was surprised to see the mess that was left on my driveway, as well as the amount of dust and cleaning we had to do to the floors and adjoining rooms. Additionally, finish work was (originally) not applied to the transition areas, and one of the main area transitions had a 3-4 cm gap that was obvious.A month later, they did send someone back to finish the transitions pieces. We were informed then that finish work was not part of the contract. We paid for the highest option provided in our quote, so we were surprised by this comment. Why would finish work not be included?While the floors are (now) beautiful and exactly what we wanted, I was disappointed. We love to support small local businesses, but in doing so, we expect businesses to take pride in their work, regardless of the size of the customer. I had wanted to give five stars, but after our experience, I feel four is honest.Thus said, I would still recommend Quality Floors 4 Less if you are seeking installation for less, but suggest that you triple check that they will be cleaning up after themselves and providing the finish work on the transitional pieces.*** Update ***Three years later, our transition pieces for the high traffic areas have all broken and come off. The major piece came off a year after installation, and the other pieces have slowly broken away.

The gentleman was extremely helpful, friendly and very patient with my many questions. They have a very nice selections of several types of floors from wood to vinyl to laminates as well. Do not let the small size fool you. The only drawback is the parking which is no fault of his, as it is in the same complex as Costco and that place is always busy!

I cant say enough great things about this place. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and do not pressure you into buying anything. We were first time hardwood buyers and they spent about 45 minutes with us explaining differences between the woods and telling us things to think about that we would have totally missed. We love our hardwoods and the choice they helped us make. Again not knowing much we were going to purchase transition pieces but they suggested a different way to install the floors that looks a lot better and is much cheaper for us. Essentially they talked us out of spending more money at their store because they wanted to make sure we were satisfied. They know their stuff and they do not pressure you into anything.

My job was a little more difficult than anticipated due to unforeseen construction issues with my home. Mark and Dennis went over and beyond to make sure that the job was completed as close to on time as possible. Ive heard great things about this company from friends but I didnt have the best experience. They were supposed to come measure but the day came and I got a call saying they wouldnt make it but they could be out next week, ok things come up no big deal. The next week he measured told me I should have am estimate emailed to me that evening or the next day. The email never came I waited a week then sent them an email asking about my estimate I finally got my email 2 days after that, by then I had already gone with another company whos bid was $6000 less. This wasnt the place for me.

My husband and I were beyond impressed with the product, work, and professionalism of Quality Floors. Sergey was so patient with us from the very beginning and walked us through all the different flooring types. He was honest about the floors that would work in our house and with our lifestyle and I appreciated that.We picked our floors and later found out that the manufacturer had discontinued them; Sergey called immediately and helped us pick out a different floor that was similar. The whole situation was handled very professionally. The team at Quality Floors then worked with our schedule to make sure the floors were installed in time for our move in date and the other renovations we were doing.We opted to prepare the floors for installation to save some money but honestly if I could do it again I’d probably just have Quality Floors do it because their prices are so fair. Once the floors were prepped, the installation was done in about two days. The attention to detail and quality of install is incredible. I continue to be impressed with the work the team did because it’s flawless! I’ve never seen a better install job on floors than what these guys did. It really is fantastic.Two things I was a little disappointed in. First the floors were filthy after install and I felt like they should’ve been cleaned so we could see our beautiful floors in all their glory. Second, they didn’t hang our doors after install but I’m guessing they lost sight of this because we had taken them off for them so they probably didn’t realize they needed to be re-hung.Overall, I would highly recommend Quality Floors. There quality of work, professionalism, and expertise is incredible and their prices are very fair.

Very happy happy with the job performed. There were some complicated areas, including a rounded staircase and the craftsmanship shows. My only complaint is that it took longer than estimated, but they kept working hard and pushed other jobs back to get us finished, and the end result was worth the extra days.

They came to install and it took barely 2 hours, for 1 room, removed the old carpet, and put back the base boards. It was painless, and we are very happy with the price!

Quality Floors 4 Less is the BEST place to go for flooring and installation in the Truckee Meadows. They came highly recommended to me by a friend, and Im glad I listened. From start to finish, Ivan and Sergey were helpful, attentive, professional, and totally committed to getting me the best flooring, and getting my job done for the best price! Ivan did the measurements and estimates himself, personally. I needed carpets and laminate flooring throughout my house, around 1500 sqft combined, and I had already picked out some nice carpet from another great local business, GCO. Ivan and Sergey took ownership of the entire job, they worked with GCO no problem. They picked up my carpet, installed it beautifully, then installed beautiful 12mm laminate flooring. Their install crews were respectful and courteous (thanks, Jimmy and Martin), and paid great attention to detail. For example, I asked the flooring installers to start their run of flooring to align a seam of flooring with the seam of some existing travertine tile, and they spend an hour planning the job and they aligned it PERFECTLY. They take pride in their work, and are eager to get it done right. I highly recommend Quality Floors 4 Less - these guys are going to be around for a long time in Truckee Meadows.

Quality Floors 4 Less recently installed nearly 1600 of laminate flooring in our 18-year old Southwest Reno house. We coildnt be more pleased. From start to finish Ivan was excellent in his assistance. We needed a few days and more than a few samples of flooring before making our final decision. His patient advice regarding the pros and cons of installing laminate vs various wood products was very helpful, and we are very pleased with our results. He was able to schedule the installation work with a reasonable period of time and delivered our finished floors within the 3 days as promised. The name of the company speaks for itself.A few weeks ago Quality Floors replaced all of the flooring in our home with tile, hardwood and carpeting. They completed the install within one week and the quality of their craftsmanship was excellent. I looked everywhere in Reno for laminate flooring that would be the right style and coloration for my home. I already had Travertine tile on the adjoining kitchen floor and entry, so the laminate color was critically important. The fact that their products are laid out on the floor of the store makes choices so much easier! Found the perfect color and was then totally surprised that their pricing, for what I considered to be a far superior product, was more cost effective than the big box stores. Incredibly fair installation price too. In fact, their pricing allowed me enough room in my budget to add a new superior underlayment on my slab floor. As promised, they showed up on time and completed the job in two days. The floors are absolutely beautiful and I could not be happier.
