In the past I’ve found this establishment to be friendly and helpful. I stopped going for about a year or so and recently returned. I’m a good tipper. I typically tip from $20-$100, depending on the time of year. I just appreciate the service and know the industry doesn’t pay a lot, and the workers can be under appreciated. I don’t expect a lot, but being nice is a minimal requirement. My hair is short and does not require any special treatment. Just cutting every 3-4 weeks. Things have changed here. Abrupt. Condescending. Simple courteous conversation no longer applies. Maybe not everyone, otherwise I’d give only one star. I hope things change and they get rid of their rude stylists. Until I hear something has changed, I’m no longer a patron.

Please make sure you communicate with your barber!! Seriously, I asked my barber to shorten the sides. I should have told them that I wanted my hair to grow so that it was connected with a taper. I even showed them a picture of a tapered haircut. But the haircut they gave me was not a taper at all, they gave me a skin fade disconnected undercut which is the exact opposite of what I wanted. I even asked them to have it lower, but I’m not lying, this was probably the shortest my sides have ever been… it’s pretty much just skin all around the sides.Mostly my fault because I’m shy and I should have said something sooner. But I’m kind of annoyed that the picture of the haircut I wanted was NOT at all the haircut I received.

Ashley cut my hair and did a marvelous job. I have no problems with the shop or personnel all have been great. My problem is I want to book an appointment for later in the day for myself and my grandson but cannot find a place to specify my desired time. Why?

Felt uncomfortable at Delmonte Location. I tried to initiate a conversation but the styist was not able to converse. Haircut OK. Stylist lacked personality. Stylist did not say thank you after $20 tip. I will not go back to this location.

I asked for a skin fade and a 1/4 inch off the top and I end up leaving looking like Im a drill sergeant. Not only that, she also completely messed up the part in my hair as well. I really dont know how anyone can expect someone to pay 26 bucks and then leave with this terrible of a hair cut.

Haircuts can be the source of anticipated dread. I am one that gets a haircut then let’s it grow for months on end due to the thought of receiving a messed up haircut. A haircut can be a big part of how confident we feel, from judgement from others and judgement from ourselves. I went in with no real guidelines and not knowing exactly to tell my stylist what I wanted. Tish helped me out SO much, from being the most friendly person to cut my hair and making me feel comfortable, and providing her professional input to give me the best cut possible. I’ve never left a review before, but her work is worth more than the praise I could write. It’s been one of the only times I’ve walked out of a place being totally happy, rather than “how do I style my hair to make it look how I want.” Ask for Tish, and let her do her thing. She’s the best! She even helped me find a product that is cheaper than the American Crew product I use, and comes with more product in packaging (and provides the same quality of previous product.) I can not say it enough, if you need a cut ask for Tish

Uneven haircuts and Ashley probably has to fix many of her Staffs bad haircuts. I had to go back to fix a bad cut. She seemed bothered that she had to do it. So to save her time I declined the MVP and just wanted a buzz cut all over to make it go faster. After all she took me in without an appointment.So she did. Then asked me to put the linen cape in the hamper on the way out. No other customer put away the linen on the way out and I didnt do that when I first went in. Then gives me business cards to hand out to people. Seriously. I wouldnt send anyone to that place. Dont go there. And if the owner tries to reply to this review with some copy and paste response dont bother.

Its like a chucky cheese for mens haircuts and they do attempt to upsale the mvp service, but its a good place to get a haircut while watching the game .

Way to long to get a haircut. 1 person takes about an hour to get cut and cleaned. Shouldn’t take that long.

I take no pleasure in writing negative reviews, especially when I have been going to this location for five years. But today was my last time. For the past year, this location seems afflicted by managerial incompetence, resulting in extremely longer-than-promised wait times. There is a check-in procedure online. Great. The problem is that the estimated wait time provided is so inaccurate as to be meaningless. For nearly every visit this past year, I have arrived at the time suggested by the online check-in portal, only to find myself waiting for another 40 minutes. I have voiced concerns about this problem on two occasions to the person I take to be the manager, but nothing seems to change. Hence, I only think it fair to warn people about the wait times. UNLESS YOU DONT MIND SPENDING 60 MINUTES HERE, GO ELSEWHERE. Its a shame, because some of the stylists are quite good. Tisha, in particular, is the best stylist Ive ever had; shes all-around amazing. But its impossible to know when youll be seen, and if you have anything at all going on in your life, its not worth the wait.UPDATE: After I showered upon returning home, I found that my haircut was all uneven. So, if you get a young blonde woman who asks you a million questions, its not because--as she claims--she wants to be sure she understands your wishes, its because she has no idea what she is doing. Avoid her, avoid this place.

I love my haircut everytime and am never dissatisfied. They cut my hair in a timely manner and wash your head so you dont have to worry about showering right away, I like to do errands after and it feels great.

Stephanie the manager is very unprofessional. My son was next in line after we sat for 25 minutes she called him up, I tried explaining what the other gal usually does and she was so rude saying who, who, who like a damn owl. I said the lady with glasses, she said Laura and I said yes. She said that she didn’t write much on what she does and I said ok and explained how he likes it. She didn’t even offer to take care of him. She just kept stating what Laura didn’t write. I don’t care, give some awesome customer service and let us know that you’ll take care of him. Laura is great but due to this horrible experience with Stephanie we won’t be returning.

I was nervous about getting my haircut here at first but after it was all done, it looked perfect. It was literally the best haircut Ive ever gotten. The lady cutting my hair took her time with my fade and trimming and did a perfect hard part. Definitely coming back

This girl, I forgot her name squared up my son. His only request was not to be bald an after the hair cut he was bald. Had to wear a hat to school for a month until he felt comfortable with out it. Never again!!! And I also had to ask her to stop cutting/clipping 2 or 3 times. I did take him back to fix it an it was so bad she had to use a 1 on clippers to even it out, after an hour waiting.

This Sport Clips location is at the Del Monte Plaza and is near the Whole Foods and BofA Meadwood branch. I like the haircuts I received. They were technically very good haircuts. The ONLY detractor for this location was the wait time. A 15-minute wait became a 20-minute wait that became a 25-minute wait. This was what drove me to another provider. If it were not for the wait issue, I would have stayed.

If you want to be spoiled and pampered a little. Then you should get the MVP. Its a little on the high end of the price scale. But you get a precision cut, hot towel, scalp massage with your wash and a shoulder massage too. (With a massager tool). The staff is very friendly and attentive to your haircut needs.

I will say I got a great cut. The gal was nice. I just have a hard time paying 26 bucks for a haircut. 21 for the cut and 5 for tip.

Ive had my hair cut at the one in Carson City quite a few times and they have always done a great job. I did try the one in Reno and they did quite well also. I enjoy being able to watch tv and getting a free drink and the prices werent too bad. Compared to Supercuts or the other chains, this is much better.

Only problem is a long wait and the old school way is GONE. Dont just walk in and expect to be in line properly, some Smuck pre planned and pre ordered from his stupid phone and he will just walk right in and get a hair cut instant. And odds are he wants some special gay cut that takes 45 minutes and he will critique it until the end of time.

Kaylin was my barber for the day and honestly changed where I go now. I haven’t got a cut like this in years!! The experience was excellent and the MVP treatment made me feel like conor McGegor when he goes to get his bad @$$ suits made. People say it’s too expensive. But does looking fresh and crisp going strait to the club really have a price on perfection? You get what you pay for and I felt like Donald trump walking in there.
