Very difficult company to work with or to get a hold of. Follow the reviews you see here regarding customer experience. When trying to explain the issue with the company when I found a different number to call, my issues were laughed off.

An Appointment was made through my home warranty company. Scheduling the appointment 3 working days from the date of the request based on their convenience/availability. A time window was requested by them of 9 am to 1 pm. I took 4 hours off work sitting at home waiting for a repairman who never arrived. No courtesy call to inform me he would not be coming in the time window they had requested. I finally had to go back to work at 1 pm. The repairman ( and RC Appliance) texted/called me at 1:24 and showed up on my doorstep (per my ring camera). I let him know via text I was no longer available and had made arrangements with another company due to their no call no show. No apology, no notice. Very poor customer service and follow up. I cannot imagine making a client wait 4 hours - showing up after my appointment window and not even extending a courtesy apology.

Best Appliance Repair business in Reno. They are extremely friendly, professional and nice! Weve used them several times through the years and they are the first ones we call when we need any of our appliances serviced or repaired! Also, they are a locally owned & family-run business! Highly Recommended.

Terribly incompetent and uncommunicative company.We had to use RC Appliance through our home warranty company to fix our microwave and from the very onset they botched every aspect of the job. The first time the technician came out he looked at the microwave, shrugged and said he couldnt do anything without ordering replacement parts -a great use of our time. Apparently RC ordered the necessary parts, but when it came time to schedule the installation the parts couldnt be found and had to be reordered. Once the parts were in we scheduled the technician to come out, but he failed to notify us that he was on his way to our home and as a result we missed the visit and had to reschedule.A week later when the technician came out to install the parts, the part was right but the color was wrong! Again, the correct part was reordered and now were waiting to schedule the technician to come out (again).Throughout this entire process the communication has been entirely one sided. Not once did RC reach out to me with new or additional information. Every single event had to be initiated by me calling them, not the other way around. Had I not been on top of this, I dont believe this job would have moved forward at all, although RCs incompetence has prevented much progress at all.I tried having the home warranty company reassign this work order to a better company, but because of RCs lack of communication with the home warranty company, they cannot reassign without additional information.In the future I would definitely NOT recommend RC Appliance for any work.

My dryer and wasmachine needed technical assistance. I was impressed how efficient the receptionistanswered my call. The owner Rick called me each time on the day of my appointments to notify me of his time of arrival and he was always on time. The repair of my wasmachine gave us a lot of challenges, it wasn’t a straight forward fix. However Rick contacted Technical support of the Manufacturer and togetherthey were able to pinpoint the problems. He ordered the part that needed to be replaced and as soon as the part arrived, he came back to install it. Rick is friendly, he is a professional who works efficient, clean andcare full . Considering the time needed to do the repairs, i feel that the company is reasonable with theircost estimates.I had an excellent overall experience with RC Appliance Repair and will call them again in the future!THANKS for doing a GREAT JOB!

Worst customer service. Impossible to deal with. Would never recommend them

RC Appliance came into my home to fix our oven, in the process when they pulled our oven out they scratched our Travertine tile. I have contacted them multiple times to fix the damage they caused and they have not bothered to return a single call of mine. I would strongly not recommend a company with such poor customer service. Nor will I ever do business with them again.If I could give zero stars I would...

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Dont do business here! Had to get a dryer repaired. Myson called to cancel them coming over to fix his dryer after getting a price of almost 200$ so my son called the company and the lady that answered was rude and hung up on my son. She didnt bother to give him a price and tell him about any possible fees!He asked her how much it was going to costhim for the tech to come out? and she told him we will tell you when we come out to your home, and they didnt fix or repair the dryer but then he sees a charge of almost 200$ drawn from his bank account! I will be reporting this company to the Better business bureau.
