Our college student has loved Identity Reno for 3 years! Safe, clean and across from campus! We highly recommend this housing option for the success of a student so they can spend all energy on getting good grades and have no housing or safety worries.
I give this place zero stars, but I had to give one to write this review. The staff is very unhelpful and lack communication between each other. I’m told one thing by one employee and told something completely different by another. My parents and I had to call them five times to get them to send the correct email. I had to call them multiple times to ask them to send me my move-in inspection and they never did. I had to call them repeatedly because I was having difficulties paying my rent and none of them could help me. If they say they will call you back, they won’t. Honestly, I could go on and on about how terrible this place is. Don’t live here.
From the on-site tour to signing the lease...Identity made it so quick and easy! The staff was super friendly and the process was painless! I cannot wait for my daughter to meet her roommates!
My son has lived in the building for the last three years since he is attending UNR, the rent is not cheap considering it’s a small room and a bathroom. The office is really not too reliable and unorganized when needing to take care of things and students moving every year from one unit to the next doesn’t make sense to me.Today it’s August 4th my sons lease ended on July 31st but because management has not prepared his next unit I don’t know why, he has to move into an apartment that has not been clean at all. How does this make sense? No apologies form manager or a discount on his next month rent. This place priority is to take your money and don’t care about the living situation of their tenants. If I could give no stars I would. No room inside fridge and who know when it was clean.
DO NOT waste your money and live here. I had the absolutely worst experience living here and would never EVER recommend anyone to stay here.I live on the 3rd floor (the 1st living floor) on the backside of the building. My room shares a wall with the trash chute (which I was never told about). The trash compactor goes over around 3-5 times a day and is extremely loud. I am woken up by it very often and lay there for 30+ minutes waiting for it to stop. The dumpster is also directly under my window. The construction that was supposed to end in “October” has continued the entire year. I am woken up almost every day between 4:30-6:30am because of the garbage trucks. They are so loud in the morning sometimes I wake up crying because I am exhausted of the constant wake up call. I have tried to talk to Samantha about this and all she says is that it is the “City of Reno” who is in charge of that.....Identity NEVER messages us about when there is construction. There are MANY days where I cannot park in my own garage let alone leave my garage because of the construction. It’s a terrible place to live. It’s not worth the money, and I am counting down the days to move out.
This is a shady business that will take your money and provide horrible customer service. Do not let your students come here. You will be sorry.
I work graveyard shifts and didn’t get home till 2:30 am last night. I woke up this morning to the most annoying fire alarm. This alarm has been blasting in my entire apartment for an hour and a half now. My noise canceling headphones don’t block the drill alarm. I called the front office and they told me that it would be another 30 mins for their identity team to check all the rooms for the fire drill. Not even a real fire.Update it’s going to be another hour of this torment. I called the office again and the lady on the phone said it will be another hour DO YOu hAve AnY mOre quEsTions.No. oK. bYe.
Took application fee of 50 dollars to hold a single bedroom apartment. Within two days, they said they sold out of singles and wouldnt refund the application fee. The rooms are small and they are overpriced. Parents, find a better place for your students. This place sucks.
I dont like that the price keeps going up without us knowing why but I like having a kitchen. I also like having a private bedroom, but sometimes I feel like we arent matched with the right people regarding living situations. The ventilation sucks and it makes it easy to smell weed going around and the walls are really thin.
I had a great experience here, rooms are a tad small. The maintenance crew is the best part of identity. Get to know Tim. Hes got some great stories and will take care you. Shout out to Tim
My time at Identity can be summarized as: terrible. The bedrooms are ridiculously small, while the bathrooms can fit two twin mattresses. They purposely try to make your moving out experience as hard as possible when ending your lease early through their official subleasing inquiry.Prepared to sign a sublease to give my apartment to a new signer, but Identity’s process demanded a 48-hour “roommate notification” time, in which the people that would be signing for my apartment would have no accommodation. This company does not care for their residents, they’re really only in it for the money. Don’t sign with Identity.
The first thing youll notice about this apartment is that its beautiful and truly does feel like luxury. The hotel vibe, convenient amenities, and great roof top experience makes this a great place. The main issues I have with the place is mainly the price attached to it and how management deals with it. Management is strict for students paying a premium and holds an even stricter contract for students. When youre signing, be sure to read everything because additional items such as parking, moving in/out, and other fees will sneak up on you in addition to the high premium youre paying here. Of course youre paying for a luxury apartment, but it definitely feels like there are some predatory actions for students who are signing some of their first rental contracts.
One of the best Student Living Communities in town! Management and office staff are friendly and attentive. The place is clean and well kept. The building is secured and they have garage parking which is great for the winter months. Karyn and her staff are amazing!
With the help of Ben I signed my lease and am looking forward to living here! I’ve heard great things. Ben was like talking to a friend, he was very easy to communicate with. He had tons of patience with the 100 questions that I asked and he knew what he was doing! Thanks dude!
I think the best part about this place is the utility guy, I think his name is Tim. I remember one time, in the winter cold, he stopped what he was doing to help my girlfriend jump her car. He took the time to make sure the car would start up and keep running. This man went above and beyond what I would expect, he also has a great attitude when he works!
Identity Reno has been one of my best housing experiences yet. I lived her for the 2017-2018 Leasing year in a 4x2. We had a nice large island in our unit and the rooms/ furniture were great. I was so happy to finally be out of the dorms and have my own space. My roommate situation was fantastic and the staff was always amazing! Any time I ever had an issue they were on top of it. Ive heard many horror stories at other apartments and am beyond thankful I chose to live at Identity. I absolutely recommend living her to everyone! Not only are the staff and apartments great, but youre so close to campus too!! Identity also put on a lot of community events were theyd provide free things life food, t-shirts, school supplies, etc so that was pretty nice. They definitely make you feel at home!
Incredible place to live! The placement right across from campus is unbeatable and the free coffee and food they provide every morning is super convenient. The property manager Karen really cares about the renters and works very hard to quickly fix any issues that arise. The maintenance staff is super responsive and friendly. They usually fix any problems we have the same day and keep the complex super clean. The apartments are very spacious and great for hosting guests. Extremely satisfied with living here.
HORRIBLE customer service! I was practically begging to sign a lease for 3 days and they kept sending me the wrong one, one employee actually advised me to sign an incorrect lease and wed fix it later. After 3 days of trying to get the correct lease, the rent had gone up and identity would not honor the original price! On top of that they make you pay $110 per month for parking. The only upside this place has is location and its not worth it. Id rather go to any other student housing than here.
My living experience at Identity Reno has been exceptional. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful and the enviornment is warm and welcoming. Being across the street from campus is a huge advantage and there are always events to get residents involved and excited. I wouldn’t recommend living anywhere else.
Identity has been great for me as a student because I get to live so close to campus, and I get all the perks of not living in the dorms. I also get to have my car without the crazy parking pass prices. I’ve tried other student living and Identity has by far been the best. I’d definitely recommend to a friend!
There were some definite issues at first with moving in and having things that still had to be done in the apartment, but the staff was amazing with making sure to communicate everything along the way and taking care of us the best that they could. Management handled all issues right away, and too care of everything! This place is literally the nicest building I have seen and you cant be the location. Definitely recommend!
Hello, Is Identity going to assist the students who signed leases through June or July but have now gone home due to classes be cancelled at UNR, jobs being furloughed, and because of the Governors stay at home order? UNR did the right thing and provided a 25% refund for on-campus housing. What is Identity going to do to help the students in Reno?
Be careful signing a lease as a college student. They make you pay for 12 months regardless if you live there or not. Impossible to get out of your lease even if they place you with a roommate that is exact opposite of you. I question their matching system. Very hard to get parking here because the garage can not accommodate very many cars. Parking is overpriced if you are lucky enough to get a space. Bottom line, they are great sales people who end up nickel and diming you. Don’t lease here!
We’ve been talking to and working with staff at Identity since September. Our daughter toured first and my husband and I toured in October. The complex is beautiful and the amenities are abundant. The safety features were the biggest selling point for us. Our daughter will also live right across the street from UNR. Benjamin was our initial contact with Identity and he was kind, professional and helpful. I’ve also spoken with Karyn several times and she’s very knowledge and so helpful. This is our first experience with off campus housing and we couldn’t be happier. We’re looking forward to her being an official resident of Identity this fall. We all know this is going to be the perfect first apartment.
I absolutely love living so close to campus! The parking garage is awesome too, so I don’t have to buy a UNR parking pass. I lucked out living with my friends and it is nice being able to have my own room to myself. The staff go above and beyond and are always giving away swag shirts and red bulls on finals week. Highly recommend to any students that want to live close to campus!
The leasing staff if awesome! No matter what it is, they got me covered. The other day I locked myself out by accident and Ben stopped what he was doing in the office and helped me get back in. The staff even sent maintenance to take care of my Christmas tree after the holidays were over!
Conveniently located and Sydney at the front desk is extremely helpful! Both maintenance guys, Tim and Danny, are the best!
Looking through the other reviews, I almost wonder if the management is rating this apartment themselves, or buying the reviews. Dont live here. From move-in day these are the things that Ive experienced:- Neighbors blasting music all night, all through the morning almost every day including weekdays. There is no apartment security to break up parties, so you just have to deal with it (buy earplugs)- Cubicle sized bedrooms even though I was told they would be around the same size as the bedrooms in the Highlands Apartments (theyre nowhere near the same size).- A random fourth roommate just showing up to our front door one day, with LITERALLY ZERO WARNING other than an email from a manager 5 minutes before he showed up.- Currently the parking lot costs $60 a month, on top of rent, to reserve a spot but there has been more than one time that Ive gone to park and not been able to find a spot, and then had to park in a striped parking zone. The management later sent out an email saying that there is no parking in the striped zones; the next day I saw the front office employees cars parked in the striped zones, as well as one of the HANDICAP zones.- There is no parking for guests. Literally if you want to have anybody come over to visit you, there is absolutely nowhere for them to park unless they have a parking pass and can park in the West Stadium parking complex. Theyll have to Uber, or youll have to pick them up yourselves.- The floors and walls are THIN. We can hear every single step our upstairs neighbors take, all hours of the day and night. As I write this review its 10pm on a Thursday night, my upstairs neighbors are stomping, our downstairs neighbors are blasting crappy music so loudly that the glass of water on my desk is vibrating (Ive talked to the management about this probably about 10 times), and Im TRYING to study for an exam tomorrow but instead Im writing this review so none of you make the same mistake that we made.Stay away.
Ive lived at Identity for a year now and I am very pleased with my experience so far. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I havent had any major issues and any minor issues I have are solved immediately. I highly recommend leasing here!
The loudest apartment I have ever been in. I have friends here whose doors dont lock. The furniture is glued together and fixed again with glue by maintenance when it falls apart. The management is awful and the rooms are so small you cannot even get into your closet without standing on your bed. They also have almost no parking for the residents so anytime school is in session you have to park a mile away and walk home. Overall an awful experience.
Brendan has been very helpful with the process of answering questions about the property and the selection of apartments for the students. We are parents and have had many questions regarding the property and student living. Brendan is always pleasant and helpful. We are looking forward to an equally pleasant experience for our son.
Identity is not a bad place to live, just be sure you know what you are getting into and weigh the pros and cons before signing with them.Pros: Location is fantastic, you cant get any closer to campus which is super convenient. The place is fairly new as well. Maintenance does a pretty good job of promptly responding to maintenance requests MOST of the time. Comes mostly furnished, and while it isnt top quality furniture, it isnt super cheap either. Allows you to pay online. You can also unlock the front door for guests from your phone which is super convenient. They have free printing which is very nice for when I dont want to go all the way to the library and pay to print, and every once in a while provide free food for residents. The fire pit and BBQ on the roof are a nice bonus as well. The staff is also very pleasant.Cons: Very expensive for a pretty small apartment; you are paying for location. Bedrooms are very small. Walls are incredibly thin, which is unfortunate as I lived right next to a set of metal stairs that drunk college students came crashing down every weekend until 3 am. Parking is absurdly expensive, and you will be ticketed if you try and park in front of the building. They will pressure you to renew your lease for the next year pretty much from the minute you move in, but will raise the price, so dont plan on staying unless you can afford a ~$40 a month increase for the next year.Im not sure whether to put this bit in pro or con, as it depends on whether you like to party, but they will not break up parties unless there is a major noise complaint, which is unlikely unless you have very particular neighbors.I dont really regret signing this year, but I will not be staying for another year. It feels like a step up from the dorms, but not quite a real apartment if that makes sense.
Identity Reno - Took a month and a half after being promised to get a room. Once getting a room they did not install shower doors for 6 more months. My room had mice and the company cannot afford to hire people to keep the place clean. Whenever the maintenance does come they give you a two week time frame, so expect to wake up to someone banging on your wall in your kitchen. Their employees park in the parking garage but then they boot you if you park in the garage. The FOB system barely works and the front door to our apartment broke after a two months. The furniture is pvc pipe with fake wood but they charge you hundreds if you scratch it. They are so far in debt that they charge you for the smallest things trying to make a dollar. Save your time and your money and live somewhere else. Oh and these good reviews you see are from students that were trying to get free stuff from Identity through a program they use to get people to post and like them on social media. Don’t let them fool you, its way too expensive for the dump that it is.P.S: If you like people talking through an intercom speaker early in the mornings in your bedroom, then this is the place for you.
Identity is amazing, the rooms are all so modern and pretty its like being in a hotel. The staff is very helpful and informative, especially Karen! Every time I go to Identity its a great experience all around.
I get it. The location has been super convenient. But this place will gouge out costs and keep doing it. The declined to get the permits through city of reno to allow residential parking permits so its either hope youre lucky and get to pay 60 a month to park in the building, or hope youre lucky to not get ticketed on the street. The place was clearly rushed in the build, and the walls are so thin. It was fine for a year but I will definitely be going somewhere else.
Moving to a new City can be overwhelming at the least not to mention moving and trying to find a new home. Im so glad we found Identity Reno! From the moment we toured the staff was warm and welcoming. The staff is very patient and always willing to help. Thank you for making this transition easier.
Karyn and the staff at Identity have been nothing short of awesome and a pleasure to work with...always met with a smile. The customer service has been above and beyond every time I have contacted them for any reason !!! Highly organized and very thorough. Just wanted to say thank you !
I have just recently started my stay at identity but I have had experience with the staff over the past year and they are all very helpful and genuine with their work. Karen is very understanding and helpful when any situation arises, and my roommates and I couldn’t be more thankful.
The identity apartment complex is fantiastic. The staff is on top of everything and more than willing to help out. They always go above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. The location is literally minutes from campus too, making it easy for students to get to class. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment complex!
Ive had such an amazing experience since I began working at Identity Reno. Even though the building is still under construction, the third story of the building has such an incredible view of the University right across the street, the mountains, and the energetic downtown Reno. However, my favorite part has to be the Roof top deck that will have the best view of all and will make the perfect hang out spot on the weekends. Construction has been definitely been working overtime and continuously to make sure this property is nothing short of amazing. I am so thrilled to see how the final result turns out!
So I’m a freshman and looking to move into these apartments as a sophomore, and I was pretty overwhelmed by Identity because its so new, but Ben Epperson helped me through the process and walked me through every step of the way to get me where I am: signing a lease for the upcoming year. If anyone needs any help, call Identity and ask for Ben! He’s the best!!!
I have been living here for about 6 months now and Ben and Ashley are some of the most helpful people i have met. Both know what they are doing and are very eager to help me every time Ive had questions.
Brendan was exceptionally helpful when my daughter moved in. He was very welcoming and very pleasant. He has excellent customer service. He definitely is an asset to Identity!!! Thank you Brendan for all your help! :)
Wonderful staff and customer service. Great location and very nice living space. Highly recommend Identity at Reno!
Identity Reno was definitely a good choice. I was a bit skeptical during the tour because of the prices. My tour guide Brendan really convinced me and broke down how much I would be saving and spending. He also walked my friends and I through the entire process. He also kept us updated and remained flexible which only encouraged me to sign up ASAP! Had it not been for our amazing tour guide I would not have signed for Identity Reno. Thank you guys ! I’m so excited for my first apartment!
Living in identity has been the absolute worst. I DO NOT recommend this to anybody at all. This was the cheapest built building and I cannot wait to move out. The location is great but not worth the extremely expensive parking, rent, and just an all around bad living experience. If you want a good apartment youll feel at home in then you should go to the republic or something. Its much much better than living here. Stay clear of identity. Dont screw yourself over by living here! From one college student to another youll succeed and be much happier anywhere else!
Beware of this place the staff is totally incompetent! When we took over someone elses lease that had a parking space that is the only reason we decided to move to identity because of the parking space Karen assured us she would take care of it once we took over the lease. Well she never did and now no parking space the lease is signed and we are screwed. The worst part is that the Manager Ashley has no interest in making it right so please beware before signing cant wait for year to be over and leave this place!
Great place to live, location right across from campus is fantastic. Most of all, the staff are incredibly supportive and friendly. 10/10 recommend!
Working for CA ventures and at Identity Reno specifically has been a wonderful experience. This property allows me to help the students of the University of Nevada find quality student housing, while giving them a location that can not be beat. CA ventures cares about its properties and tenants like I have never seen. I am really excited to have this addition become apart of the wolf pack community this fall!
Identity is a nice option near the UNR campus to stay during your time at UNR. Karyn the manager is very accommodating and helped me out with some issues with my unit. I feel very safe here and the staff are always very nice. I especially like the student lounge on floor 2 and the rooftop deck on floor 8! :-)
Identity is a fine place to live if you do not own a car. If you do happen to own a car then this place is a total nightmare. The building does not even have enough parking for its tenants, and in order to use one of their parking spaces you will have to fork over $60 a month on top of the already expensive rent. The solution, that Identity gave, for the first year was for many of the residents to park on campus at the west stadium parking garage across the street. This is what I did, and I had no problems with it. The parking was fairly convenient and it was cheaper than identity’s parking anyway, so I renewed my lease thinking that this place was pretty good. Here comes the second year and I go in to the university parking office to pick up this year’s pass and they tell me that overnight parking will no longer be permitted in any on campus parking facilities except to those living on campus. They also tell me that this has always been their policy but that they let it slide this year knowing that many Identity residents were parking in the west stadium garage, and now they would be enforcing this policy. I know that Identity and it’s management already knew about this because when I confronted them they acknowledged that they were aware that we would no longer be allowed to park overnight at the west stadium garage, and knowing this they still refused to warn any of the residents that this was happening. I was left with five days to figure something out before my parking pass expired. So I went to Identity looking for a solution, and they told me that their lot is full but that I could apply for a residential parking permit from the city and park on the street. I went down to city hall with my application and they tell me that the owners of the building (Identity) never actually submitted the paperwork that would be required for any of the residents living in Identity to apply for this parking permit. Identity management are nothing but a bunch of liars and scam artists. They knew perfectly well that this residential parking permit existed, but they clearly ignored it in order to sell their overpriced parking spots. Now they are telling me that they submitted their paperwork to the city a month ago and that the city is delaying the process, which is total BS. What reason could the city possibly have to delay this process, and even if it is true why would you wait so long to submit this paperwork? So now I’m up at 4:00 in the morning still worried about what I’m going to do about parking tomorrow, taking the only step that I have left and writing this review. These type of business and management practices are disgusting and will only lead to more problems in the future, so I cannot recommend that anyone lives here for that reason.
Awesome staff!! Brenden and Aria were very friendly towards me and provided the help I needed! The location is awesome with it being so close to campus!
I’ve loved living here. The staff at Identity are very helpful and have made my transition to my own apartment very easy!
Just signed the lease for an apartment here. Facilities are super nice, so is the staff. Definitely recommend you check it out and see it for yourself!
Just signed a lease there and the people were great! They all wanted what was best for you and so kind!
ID Reno is a fantastic place to live and to work! Great people at an affordable rent. - Elsa & John
The staff is very friendly and are able to answer any questions that I may have. Best place to live at.
Deciding to live at Identity Reno was the best decision I made in a long time. I was an incoming freshmen last semester and did not know many people. Living here I have made friends that are going to last a lifetime. Everyone that lives here is very social. The apartments are very modern and updated. The location is unbeatable. I wake up 10 mins before my class and still make it on time as it is right across the street from UNR. I would recommend Identity to everyone I know.
I love living at Identity Reno because of the awesome location which is right across the street from the main part of campus. It is a great place to live if you attend the university because a lot of UNR or TMCC students live here. I was a transfer student and lived in the dorms at my last school so the fact that Identity is fully furnished is awesome! 10/10 Recommend!
✨I hated everything about this place✨10/10 would NOT recommend☺️
Ben Epperson was extremely helpful with any questions that would come up about the leasing. Definitely left a good impression on me and am looking forward to my residence.
A corporate nightmare.... From the cheap construction to the forgetful and standoffish staff, this community needs some serious improvement and a change in management. My leasing officer, who will remain unnamed, never sent the parking lease that he verbally promised me to send. As a result, I get to park my BMW on the street. Management expressed outright apathy towards the situation, but they do a great job paying a PR agency to write fake reviews for them!
Great location with the very best staff! They work hard to make sure their tenants love where they live!
Great staff. Great location. Great rooms. 10/10 would recommend!!
The management failed to give me an opportunity to renew my lease after perfect rental history. This is an over priced dorm building run by what is essentially student workers. You will have problems with management if you rent here.
Definitely my favorite place to live so close to campus! I have done a few other apartments nearby, and no one else compares!
Just leased for an apartment and the staff was super helpful and answer every question I had.
Identity is the best place to live in Reno! I cant wait to live here again next fall!
Awesome place to live! Really friendly staff, and so close to campus!
Location, superb. Really cant get much better when it comes to off-campus living. Location is what you are paying for.Price, was once okay. I signed for the cheapest room they had available during construction. The next year the bumped it up 10 bucks a month when I renewed, which was understandable. Now theyre trying to charge me $130 (10+120) a month more for the very room I initially signed for. Hell of an absurd jump. I know for a fact at least two of my suitemates are not renewing and moving from Identity.Furnishing, okay? Anything with four legs seems built rather sturdy. Anything without might not last a year. The barstools and desk chairs strike me as not much more than staging furnature.Internet, better than expected. I didnt have too much faith going into ID for the internet, I dont know why. The wireless is alright, but if you bother to wire wired internet about the place its significantly better.Rooms, tiny tiny tiny. Im a tall person. I can touch opposite walls if I lay down and stretch out a bit. The fact that the bed takes up 60% of the room doesnt help with its cramped feeling.Everything else unmentioned has been fairly adequate. They do have some freebie stuff that pops up here and there, which is nice, but know what youre paying for before you sign.
Identity Reno is a good place because its right across the street from the University and because it comes with good features like cable, furniture, and WiFi. However, living there was the worst experience that I have ever had and it all started from move in day. When I applied someone from the management team told me that I could wait to apply for parking move in day, come to find out that parking was sold out move in day so I was completely screwed, so I had to park in front of the building, if I got lucky to find a spot, however an officer is justified to give you a parking ticket. When I complained about that to the managing team, I felt like it was a waste of time because they gave this impression that I was lying and there was nothing they could do. It was like they didnt care. Also, they completely ignored my roommate preferences and I ended up with someone I did not even like. One time when it was time to pay for rent, I had to put in a new account because I had to cancel my old one for other reasons. So I put the new account in the system and come to find out they still charged my old account that didnt exist anymore and everytime it does not clear, you have to pay and extra $25 and this happened twice. I told the manager that something is wrong with the system but I got another impression that I was lying, SHE EVEN LAUGHED on the phone when I was getting frustrated explaining my side.I had to go get a cashiers check because the system wouldnt allow me to do echecks anymore even though the system had an error, not me. I feel as though the room is overpriced because its small and ID shows that communication is not a thing throughout the everyone who works there. Everytime theres a problem, they say sorry but they give an Oh well expression behind it and you know what an apology is still not enough because the problem will still effect the people who live there. Even ending your lease cost too much. By the way, the Wifi goes on and off, they randomly test the intercoms, you sometimes lose channels without warning or out of nowhere, you can hear the running and screaming from various floors, and the people who work there will tell you information to know after the situation or problem occurred so you would have to pay some fee or whatever to end it when it couldve been prevented if you would have known beforehand. If you dont have a car and have the money, ID may be good for you since campus is right there, but other than that, this apartment place was the worst thing Ive ever experienced.
After having the hardest time looking for apartments, my roomates and I decided to look at Identity. Ben Epperson was so kind and walked us through the whole process, plus he was quite the cutie! I would definately recommend anyone to live here, everyone there is so friendly and willing to help!!
Don’t live here if you are serious about your studies. It is constantly loud every weekend with drunk college students being super loud and screaming. Sometimes they hangout in the hallways till 4am, and it is so loud that it feels like they are in your own room. People here have no respect for others and are always loud, even on Thursday nights. It’s happened so much that I feel like cancelling my lease. It’s annoying.
Wondeful place to live in and all the staffs are really kind always consider for residents :)
Absolute garbage. They hadnt finished building when our lease started, so they put us in hotels for 2 weeks with $100 gift cards a day. After we moved in, we had problems everywhere, with tilted furniture, paint on floors, unfinished closets. The rooms are small, the WiFi is shared between several rooms (getting less than 1Mbps down and up). The Ethernet doesnt work yet, and there are only 2 in the common area (one behind the TV, another below it... How are we supposed to get that to our rooms??)
Identity is no doubt the top tier when it comes to student housing for the University of Nevada.Although this complex is quite pricey, the units have very modern stainless steel appliances, and are fully furnished with chairs, tables, desks, etc. However, where this place really stands out is not necessarily the building itself or the location (which is literally across the street). This place stands out because of one thing. The staff. I cant tell you how much of a difference a good and competent staff makes to your living experience. I have lived at wolfrun-village, republic, summit, and now identity. I can tell you without a second thought that the identity staff is by far the best out there.I used to dread going to pick up a package at the summit not only because the office was far, but moreso because the staff would continue their conversation amongst themselves or with the maintenance man before even engaging me. Instead of me just grabbing my package and going, I had to wait until their staff of college students just trying to make some extra cash decided it was time to help me. Side note, I like Amazon, I order alot from Amazon, they asked me my name EVERYTIME I went to pick up a package. And it wasnt for security or privacy reasons, they just genuinely did not know or care to remember. That might seem a bit petty, but when all you have to do is take an elevator ride down, walk 10ft into the office and are immediately greeted, by name, and then told that you have a package (even though you didnt say anything, they already know!). Thats the kind of service I like. Living at Identity feels like living at a flipping hotel.Lastly Id like to debunk some claims and give you my two cents on a few of the 1 star reviews. The Identity staff wont tell you how horrible the other places are because that would be bad for business, but I can! :)So first up: you pay for reviews blah blah- 5th floor, unit 503, room A... Ill send you a postcard. Its so loud I cant study waaaahhhh!- First, welcome to college and living in close proximity to people. Other human-beings make noise and sometimes play music. If you need to study, then stop complaining to the google maps app on your phone and walk 3min across the street to the library on campus, where youre supposed to study.I cant find parking mehhhh or $60 for parking what a rip-off!!- Identity is the only student living place with a totally closed and secure garage. If youre not a resident who pays for parking, you cant get in. Honestly, I thought the $60 was kinda pricey too. So I decided to try my luck and find parking on the street. Most of the time it wasnt too far of a walk, but eventually I decided to cough up the $60 a month and park in the garage. Also, spaces are limited, so they need to charge a premium. And lastly, my favorite blah blah, something something, drunk person- Again, first, welcome to college. People drink. Second, I have personally only seen/heard maybe one or two drunk people walking the halls or in the elevator. Its really not that bad. Its definitely not that bad when you compare it to the summit, where I lived last year. I used to come home from work on a Friday night, and have to play the floor is lava game except it wasnt lava. It was vomit. I promise you, this was an every weekend thing, and sometimes it sat for over 48hrs before being cleaned up.All said and done, Identity is a bit pricey, but you literally cant get any closer to campus... The dorms are farther. The staff is unparalleled, if you have a problem, it gets fixed immediately. Aside from fixing issues, the staff CARES. Its honestly a pleasure to walk in and be greeted by name, have them ask me how my day was, how work was etc. Its pretty awesome if you ask me.
Living in this place was a nightmare for me none the less. I can write an essay on all of my bad experiences and why somebody should not live here, but that would be more time wasted with Identity!
These are the nicest apparments on Campus. Hands down!
Great facility and cant wait for my son to move in!!!
Great atmosphere entire staff are friendly professional
Great location, awesome staff, Austin was super helpful!
Great service, great atmosphere, great people! This is the place to live in Reno. No questions asked.
Great place, great staff, 10/10 location
When it comes to resident experience and living in a place where the staff and community actually work together there is no better option!
Not as bad as I thought it would be
This place has been a complete nightmare. Announcements on the loud speaker at 6 am, tiny bedrooms, no storage, late move-ins, unexpected rent charges.... so over it.
Minuscule rooms, terrible construction quality, cheap, cheap, cheap furniture, lousy internet.
