This place is amazing. Quiet, peaceful, and feels safe here compared to the rest of Reno. Theyre pet friendly. They dont bug you constantly like previous landlords Ive delt with in the past. They keep the neighborhood clean and pool clean. The units are incredibly nice. Perfect location. I love it here. It is pricey but definitely worth it. Some may disagree with me because there is an ant problem here but thats due to the location. Its green and lively here. If you keep it clean and spray raid it helps a ton. Thats literally the only flaw with this place. Doesnt bother me much personally

This is the worst place anybody can rent from Amy in the office is a bully she will call the tenants up and harass them and then deny it they will charge you $160 for cleaning these comes out of your deposit they dont let you do it yourself they will keep your $500 deposit plus they would charge you another $500 they said the $500 is for the utility amenities and send you to collection thats exactly what is happening to me and they even will send you someone elses email with all their move out information

Its very quite and the people are social and easy to get along with. The people who work in the office are very understanding and great at communicating. The overall apartments are very unique in their own ways.

My only issue is that with all the cameras all over the complex how is it that multiple cars from all over the property were broken into and nothing was caught on camera. Paying this high of prices for the gated community and security from the cameras sure isn’t worth it if they don’t work. I would advise others to look elsewhere for the protection of you, your family, and your belongings.

The staff here is what makes Northtowne Summit great. From the leasing staff to maintenance they are all incredibly nice and accommodating and respond quickly to any service requests or issues you may have.

Five stars is not enough to show how happy I am with Northtowne Summit, especially in regards to the Leasing Consultant Jennifer. I originally was interested in Northtowne Summit because they are close to my job, but that is not why I ultimately chose to live here. The staff made me feel at home. Amy has always been a great and helpful and so nice and youll be in great hands if you work with her, but the spotlight this time needs to be shined on Jennifer.I am writing this review because my husband and I have lived here for over a year, and now has come the time to renew. We were curious about other floor plans and originally only asked to tour one unit, but ended up having Jennifer show us two different units! I am a very picky person and Jennifer was so patient as she listened to all my needs and wants. If you are looking for a place to call home that will treat you like family, look no further! Also dont forget to ask for Jennifer!!

The one good thing about living here is the size of the apartments. LITERALLY everything else is terrible. The worst management team you can think of. They have gone into our apartments when no ones home, switched our lock for our mailbox, even turned our water heater off. They will leave late fee papers at your door, even if you pay it a few days early. Weve called to ask what was up, and they dont even know who keeps doing it. Weve tried calling them several times to get to the bottom of those things, and they just give us attitude. There is no professionalism. Dont move into these apartments, unless you dont mind the management taking advantage of you every chance they get.

Since I move in here the office staff have been very helpful. Amy in the office is very helpful and professional. I really like the way she treats the everyone. She makes you feel like your apart of a community. The maintenance staff is very efficient and my neighbors are quiet. When my friends visit me they are impress with my apartment.

Look the rent is to high for what the place is worth, but that’s all of Reno. My biggest problem with this place. And I have been here for 3 years. Is there is absolutely no available parking. I know for a fact that people park extra cars in the visitor spots and leave them for weeks. When I have my girl friends car in our spot and after an 18 hour day on an ambulance that the last thing I want to do is circle the parking spots for 30 minutes and then have to make a decision. Do I park in front of Winco, or along a curb out side of the gate where I have seen peoples cars get broken into. I absolutely hate it and believe there needs to be something done about.

Northtowne is fantastic. The amenities are first-class but the management and maintenance team are even better. Amy, Lisa, Kevin, Dave, and Amy do a sterling job. Ive been super impressed so far. The pool, Jacuzzi, gym, BBQ s, fire pit, and dog parks are all great. Neighbors are friendly and accomplished. Highly recommended.

Love living here! Beautiful, well-maintained community with spacious units and amazing staff! The office personnel are so professional and always helpful with a smile on their face. The maintenance crew is lighting fast and Kevin is the best! They truly go above and beyond to ensure your experience living here is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.The amenities are top notch. Year round hot tub and pool! The fitness room is one of the nicest Ive ever seen with a great selection of equipment. Always clean and organized as well. The grounds are kept in pristine condition and the security gate gives me peace of mind. I am extremely pleased I chose this community as my home and would absolutely recommend it. One of the best without a doubt.

I have loved living here! My apartment is modern and updated, there have never been any major maintenance issues. The common areas (gym, pool, lounge) are great to have, and they are usually not very crowded. The staff is extremely friendly, courteous, and they are good at communicating with me. The location is fantastic, too. I am within a 10 minute walk from a major grocery store and probably a few restaurants. I work at the Medical Center, and the commute is great - only about 15 minutes in the morning during rush hour. Public transportation towards the Med Center or towards Downtown is very easy from this location as well. My only complaint is that sometimes the noise level in the pool area can be a little loud. The staff is very good about making sure that doesnt happen too late at night.

This place is very spacious, quiet, neat, modern appliances, great neighborhood, close to Winco, great location and the most important is safe.Fantastic customer service especially Amy shes very professional and friendly..thank you Amy for everything. I strongly recommend this Northtowne apartments you cant go wrong.

Love the location, all my shopping I do is all minutes away from here. Love my apartment, one of my favorite places I have ever lived. Staff is friendly and easy to talk to which made moving in that much easier. Thank you Amy for all your help, you and Lisa where great.

I love this place. My apartment is so big. The pool is year round and is heated. The staff is great. The girls in the office are always so friendly. Whenever I need help the service guys are always on top of it. Anyone looking for a new apartment I would say this is the place

Amy has been a god sent to me. Im 90 years old and she has been so nice and helps me anytime I need help. I wish there were more people who help people just because they need help. Her staff has also been so nice to me and make it so I love living here.

Not too thrilled with Management. Not enough parking to accommodate residents, its a race to find a parking spot, other than the assigned spot, especially spaces close to your own apartment. Nice apartments, kept up, maintenance is great-friendly

When I walked in I knew this was the place I was going to live. Everyone was so friendly and made me feel so welcome. They made my search for a new home better.

I cant tell you enough how much I love living here. My apartment has a beautiful view of the city. All the new stuff that they have opened up for us to use is so great. All my neighbors have been so nice. The rent is high but it is high all over town, it is cheaper than most. The people who work here have been so nice to me and my wife.

Horrible place to live in everything kept breaking down and they would take forever to fix what need to be done. After they did fix something it would be ok for like 2 or 3 days and break down again. The workers in the office have horrible manners and will argue with you over anything and charge you for things that you dont need to pay for. This is the worst place to live in.

Great place to live. New owner/management are amazing and easy to talk to. Love the fresh baked cookies! And the new maintenance guy is very helpful. Highly recommend renting here.

I live across the road from them and they have serious light issues that cause a strobe light for the nearby neighborhood. I know a neighbor who has epilepsy. Should probably get it fixed before some has a seizure.

We love the new management at Northtowne Summit Apartments. They work with us to make sure we’re happy and taken care of. If we ever run into a problem, maintenance is prompt to fix it. The lady that works in the office is extremely kind and understanding. It has been a pleasure living here. Its a very peaceful and quiet community with friendly neighbors. They have given us a beautiful home to live in and we are very sad to leave. We definitely recommend these apartments and look forward to possibly moving back in the future. Everyone has been so kind and helpful. I love my apartment and the view of the city. Any time I have a problem they are very quick to fix it.

Apartments are nice. Kitchen is super big and cool, but the management was awful. Gave us the wrong quote on the apartment and we had to pay nearly $300 more than planned. Never fixed our ant problem and never communicated when they had pest control so we could make an appointment. The gate was broken every 2 weeks and took up to a month for them to fix it sometimes. Took two weeks to fix our doorknob and only did so after my room mate yelled at them. Then, they kept giving us the wrong date for our deposit. First it was a week. Then a month. Then a month and another week. If you want a dope kitchen be willing to pay with your patience.

I lived there for quite some time. The place was nice except lots of ants in the kitchen. However, the management (S.W.) was irresponsible and manipulating. Here are some tips before you move in. Based on those tips, you may probably figure out my bad experience.1. Read the agreement carefully, or even pay $200 for an attorney to go over it for you, and reject any unlawful items. It may save you a lot of money later.2. Video record the whole apartment while you check in. Pay attention to the vertical slats, the carpet, the kitchen, etc. Do the recording IN FRONT OF the manager. You need to make her aware that she should not play tricks on you.3. While living there, any small thing they fix for you, you may need to pay it later no matter what they say at that moment;4. If you move out, inspect the apartment with the manager and ask her to list any problems and potential charges about the apartment in writing. Dispute immediately if you disagree.

Our apologies for any issues you have had at Northtowne Summit. We are now under new ownership and management.Please do not let this response fool you. The new management is just as bad, if not worse. than the old management. They will try to milk every penny they can out of you. The manager Amy is very rude and is horrible at math. Double check all math when you move you, she will try to get more money out of you then you will owe. My advice is you do not rent here, if you are going to pay a moderately high rent go to a complex that has respectful management. If you do decide to live here document everything and get anything Amy or assistant says in writing. Do not hang anything up or you will be charged with a painting fee as well to repaint every wall in the apartment. Also, get a mold test done before moving in. We moved in and have been battling mold issues since that were preexisting. The few dumpsters they have are always overflowing with trash resulting in a disgusting looking complex. The gates never work in the complex either. A group of monkeys could run an apartment complex better than this management does.

Was very nice management that helped me through a very tough time. Very helpful in tending to my needs. I recommend.

The property management staff in Reno at Northtowne summit apartments are extremely rude. Rent has been raised to a level of working poor with only a pool as amenities. If you wish to use the club house you can only do so with the watchful eyes of the staff on you. I spent the summer of 2018 with a 80 degree house because they kept sending people into my apartment to fix the A/C and nothing was ever done. When I gave them a 2 month notice that I intended to move out they said we wont accept it you less you pay us an extra $1500 to break the lease. I explained I havent actually broken it yet Im just giving you notice and they replied with, either way Im not accepting a verbal notice without $1500.DO NOT MOVE HERE!!

They dont answer phones, the front desk lady is very very rude.

Really enjoy living here with my family. The apartments are beautiful and spacious. Its a quiet and peaceful complex. The lady that works in the office is VERY nice, understanding, hardworking, and easy to talk to. If we ever run into an issue like something stopped working, she listens and is very quick to put in a work order and get the problem fixed. We really love the new management. They always have really good cookies when we run to the office which is a nice treat. I see the staff and maintenance running around, working hard to maintain the apartment complex. The location of the apartments is very convenient, there’s a Winco, cvs, ross, 3 different gyms, and plenty of places to eat, all within walking distance. Two of my biggest pluses is that they accept dogs and have an in storage washer and dryer. So far we haven’t really had any problems with our apartment or management. We’ve been treated really good here and we’re super grateful they have provided us with a beautiful, cozy home. We’re sad to leave, but due to having a newborn baby, we would like to live closer to our parents and other family members. But to sum it all up, I definitely recommend living here and look forward to hopefully moving back in the near future.

What is an exiting deposit??!! They tried to get one out of my 72-year old mom when she turned in the keys, and then they said they were going to charge her for more time after she already had a move-out date and final payment agreed upon which they said they lost. When my mom asked them to check their files she said they had no paperwork on her at all after living there for 2 years. When she pressed them, they finally found her file which they slammed down in front of her with the move-out agreement sitting on top which they STILL claimed ignorance about. They said the person who signed off on it doesnt even work there and theyve never even heard that name before. My mom pointed her out to them because she was sitting right there in the office!! They were VERY rude and intimidating and refused to do a final walkthrough. Im sure they will keep the move-in deposit even though my mom is a clean freak and left that place spotless. I dont like to wish bad things on people, but you almost want them to go through in life what they have put other people through. NOT COOL!Under new ownership and management? Same thing you told my mom a week before she was leaving, and yet you still retained the same bad workers and business practices. Hopefully that changes soon, too.

Absolute worst apartments Ive ever lived in. Ants have a better experience living here, considering they swarm the damn place even after exterminators clean the place up. Ive never heard of any apartments charging you for a whole months rent, when youre only staying 5 days for your vacate month. NEVER. Normal rent is already high enough, but to charge a months rent when Ive been told by office staff, youll only have to pay the 5 days for the month that youre saying, this place doesnt need to exist. Other than repairs taking too long to happen, and BS fees, dont give your hard earned money to these people, especially when youre about to leave and get charged way too much. Have I mentioned ridiculous fees for losing the pool key, they ask YOU to pick up? And the back gate remote, YOU didnt ask for? I pray no one else even hears of this place.

I was really excited when we found out new management took over and they were going to take ownership of changes in the apartments but nothing was done . We needed repairs in our apartments they never followed up even after multiple attempts to get things fixed nothing was done.People in the office are so rude and they try belittle you when you bring up concerns.When we gave out notice they couldnt care less about why we moved out or apply any feedback to improve . So disapointed. Location was quiet, easy acess to shopping the front gate is always broken but overall we enjoyed living here unless we had to intract with the office.

Anyone who feels as if they have been mistreated by the office staff get into contact with me on my Facebook my name on there is joey galban come to find out they are actually breaking NRS codes in the state of Nevada by withholding the managements information we could actually start a class action lawsuit against them and you will be able to receive your moneys back. Its not necessarily about the money for us, its more about the fact to stop them from doing this to other tenants in the future.

Do yourself a favor and do not waste your time.

This place was horrible. Moved in because of safety and my car was broken into 3 times, even with a police report they couldnt release the footage with charging me $150 extra. Horrible place to live dont recommend it to anyone.

When looking to rent be sure to check out the laundry room, weight room, and pool area.None are kept up and filthy. Ants are a big problem within the complex and units. BEWARE because its not disclosed. The security gate is broke most of the time. Grounds are dirty, and not kept up very well. Lights are out along the sidewalks. Check the unit for black mold in the windows. Ours was extremely bad, and whomever lived in our unit before must have had it bad. The carpet cleaned upon move in. Once dried all the spots came up. NOW this company is electing to come after us for damages to the carpet, walls, counters etc. Took photos of everything, I suggest anyone do the same. These people are unprofessional, and rude. Going to post some pictures that were taken before we moved in and after we moved out. Stay tuned. Dates are clearly marked on the pictures.
