Very happy, honest and professional would recommend ! My steering wheel on my 2005 Porsche was shaking on the highway around 65mph. I stopped by without an appointment and Ali took care of the problem right away. He took the car for a test drive after the repair to double check that the problem was gone. He also didn’t try to sell me on an alignment and said I only need balancing.

The labor is $165 per hour on Sep 2021. They charged 2.5 hour labor, while done in ~2 hour. Overall is good.

The service was great! I was there early in the morning and Staff attended customers immediately. My car was blowing hot air and Ray’s Auto Shop fixed it really well and didn’t made me wait for a long time and fixed it ASAP. I will definitely recommend and come back to this shop.

Ali, the owner, is a great guy. The AC compressor on our Honda Pilot had failed, and we were coming up from SB. They were able to take us on quick notice, and swap out our compressor for a new one same day. Ali was upfront and honest about their pricing and estimate, and did a great job. $150/hour seems to be the going rate in the area. He even replaced a leaking cable for us at no extra charge. Great customer service, would absolutely come again and recommend Ray’s to anyone else.

This is the kind of business that you want to support. Excellent, high-quality work on my car and at a very reasonable cost. It is hard enough to afford to live in the Bay Area and they work with you and tell you what you need to keep your car running on the road safely and not more. I got a blow out at 2-3pm this pst friday and this shop was willing to wait on me to tow my car to their shop after I had to wait multiple hours. They fixed the car and order new tires and it was ready the next morning. This is my go to spot. Even before this incident.

They did a great job fixing my air conditioning! I appreciated the communication and kindness.

The price was in line with the research I did, my air conditioning is a bit more powerful than before it broke, and the speed of the repair... this is the first time Ive ever had to tell a mechanic slow down, I cant pick up the car that fast!Id say that the competition has a high standard to live up to, but why would I even go to the competition when Rays is still open?

I called Ali in order to schedule a tune up/inspection of I car I had recently purchased. He was able to get me in the next morning. He quickly called me with a reasonable quote for some general maintenance that was necessary. Was able to do all the work and have my car ready for me that day. Very straight forward and transparent. I had my car towed to them a little over a week ago late on Saturday and met Ali, the shop owner, who waited a bit after to make sure my car was secured before shop closed. The work that was done was great and under my budget. After getting picking up my car he mentioned to me that my window didnt roll up and i mentioned that it was able to before it was towed. Although he couldnt test it prior to me bringing it to him he took the time to check it and fix it before my car left his shop with out cost. I find this type of business practice hard to find and i now know there is some still good businesses out there that treat the customer right. Thanks Guys my car is still running great.

Worst mechanic shop ever I went there to get my front light fixed for a certain fee they were supposed to diagnose the problem and tell me what needed to be done they said I needed a fuse box they held on to the car for three days telling me I needed a fuse box so I get a fuse box and a certain fee to get it installed and the lights should work but it did not so they charge me extra for the first time and charge me extra again because it was never the fuse box it was some loose wires and they held onto the car for another day and charge me extra again this place is a scam they fixed my front lights after $825 later and now my back lights do not work and my alarm do not work so when I called them and told him about it they told me to bring the car back and they will give me a discount or give me a good deal what a scam they created two more problems for me and now they want to charge me do not go to this place

Well paid $165.00 to find out why check engine light came on, and reset. Only to find out it still on and nothing was explained or written down. Then later that day discovered that my back up sensor was missing apparently due to someones poor ability to back up straight. Otherwise they were very polite and respectful to a woman.

I recently visited Rays Auto repair for rear brake service and I was extremely happy with their work. The mechanics are fast and knowledgable with very good suggestions to save you extra cost in the long term. The team is very easy to communicate and they perform some reasonable and quick additional inspection on your car for free. Thank you for being great and honest!

They did an excellent job on a major engine and steering repairs for the 1999 Honda Prelude. This Honda model is what Honda would consider a sports car. Therefore the engine repair which included head gasket, timing belt, water pump, etc. was a challenge in which they did an excellent job in doing.During the repair it was also identified that the rack and pinion steering was in need of repair which also done very well.Definitely a great auto repair shop that is able to do an excellent job in identifying and repairing all types of car problems. Very competitive pricing and with that excellent quality of repairs which is sometimes difficult to find from other shops hat charge less or even more.

I have been coming here for a while and never get let down. Always fast, efficient, and affordable. I will continue to give my business to this place for all my automotive needs. Thanks again! Blessed!

I needed a mechanic to conduct a pre-purchase inspection near Acura Hopkins and Rays Auto Repair came up. I called and was greeted by this super friendly guy called Will.He refused to conduct an inspection for me on the day I called because he said he doesnt have enough time to do a complete inspection and if he did, he would not be fair to me.So I made an appointment for the next day.After the inspection, there were some issues with the car that needed to be fixed. And he offered to run another test for me after the dealer had fixed it. He is friendly, honest, and gets more than just the job done.Look no further other than Rays Auto. Oh, and ask for Will.
