Tran’s is the most honest and reasonable mechanic in the area. Sy helped diagnose and fix my starter for $200 cheaper than my mechanic in Southern California (where it’s cheaper to do business). I had the same job done 70k miles ago so I had a direct comparison.He even fixed my positive battery post for free which was much needed. They finished the job in 6 hours after dropping the car off late the previous night.

I have taken two different trucks with the engine light on. They diagnostic the issue and fix it the same day. They could have told me a BS story but they were very honest and in one case they didnt even charge for any parts.

Ive been taking my revolving stable of cars to Trans for years and cant say enough good things about them.-First, Tran and his sons are honest to a fault. They fix what needs fixing, recommend what might need fixing in the future, but never ever ever push extra services or go ahead with repairs without first getting approval.-Second, theyre good. They will figure out how to fix just about anything on your car, except for bodywork.-Third, if they fix it, it stays fixed. Ive never had to come back and get something redone.My biggest fear is they lose their lease as Facebook gobbles up land all around them. So please bring them your business and keep em local!

A few years ago one of my cars idiot lights (to use the technical term) lit up and stayed lit. I took the car to a couple of shops, and both had elaborate and expensive proposals for fixing the car. I took it to Trans, he checked it out, and said, You need a new gas cap. He was right. So instead of costing a hundred bucks, the repair cost about eight dollars. Honest and capable.
