Stranded in the dark and no towing company available on a Saturday night. I came across Matos Towing and in less then a minute the dispatcher send the call and Christian got in contact with me. I was home in less than 1 hour. Thank you so much. Will keep this number for future reference.

This place is a scam i got charged for being in there lot for two day because my car for towed there at 11 pm and i want allowed to get it until the next day.

Completely unprofessional service. I mistakenly parked in a towing area and as I was coming out to my vehicle they had the cable hooked up to my truck. It was not yet on the tow truck and it had not moved whatsoever. I apologized and said I would gladly move the vehicle and there was no reason to tow me. They refused to remove the cable unless I paid them $50. There was a guy next to me that was in the same situation but they actually had part of his vehicle on the truck. Apparently the other guy knows someone that works at the company and they let him go without paying a cent. I was aware of this and asked that I be given the same treatment. The guys refused and said they would not remove the cable unless I paid them. The gentleman who got away free even asked them to remove the cable and to let me move but they again declined. It was my mistake for parking in the wrong area and I have no issues with paying for a penalty if everyone is treated the same. This is completely unprofessional in giving preferential treatment to certain people when the same violation is being committed. I will never suggest this business to anyone and I will go out of my way to express to everyone I know not to use Matos towing for any service.

The 2 women who work at the desk are very unprofessional and rude and are on a powertrip with their little paper sign saying we are allowed to kick u out if you raise your voice or have any attitude....maybe act more professional and less standoffish and less condescending then maybe customers would treat you all nicer....like ppl already mad they have to pick their car up from there and then these 2 ladies just add to the fuel....and they know they exploit that behavior...

Ive had car repairs at Matos, great service, done right, the first time and they were fast, the mechanic only worked on my car, took no breaks, went above and beyond, and they were $105.00 LESS than another garage for the same job...Matos did my job the next day, the other place had a 2 week wait for an appointment. A friend recommended Matoss to me, and I am extremely grateful. Ill only use Matoss....

Matos Towing and Recovery was great! I was stranded on the side of the road, crashed into a snow bank. The were quick to get to the scene, and the man who helped me was professional, well experienced, and brought peace to a chaotic environment. I was out of the snow in no time. Thank you all so much! I was very happy with the service I received over the phone. I was calling from Minneapolis Minnesota after I had my car stolen and sold by my ex boyfriend. The police located my vehicle and had it towed after I had reported it stolen. I thank the woman i spoke to.

Ok, lets make this plain and simple. I am here to complain and leave a bad review for good reason. I dont know who would charge $50 just to jump a car and move it but out of all the towing places I have used, NONE AND I SAY NONE CHARGED $50 to jump a car. Maybe 10 or 15 but NOT 50. Had no other choice as time was getting later and amidst this pandemic and snow storm coming tomorrow. When your driver came to my house and dropped the car off, he said in his broken spanish, I dont know why she had car tow up here, car runs and everyting... THE CAR HAS A BLINKING CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. It needs to get towed here, you cant drive on a blinking check engine light. Sounded like an insult but I let it go.Next time, have your driver keep his comments to himself. He is to drive and drop off car. No need for the extra words. Gracias

I just want to share about a HORRIBLE experience that my sister had with your receptionist on 2/27/21 around 2pm. The receptionist yelled at her unprovoked about unrelated personal issues. She was very unprofessional, I hope you can fix this if you want to see your business grow.

Excellent service. Great place to get parts off vehicles if they have them in stock. They share photos and will let you know what is still good. They found out a part was bad when I got there and they refunded me for that part. Highly recommended!

I’ve had a really great experience in dealing with Matos. They towed a vehicle for me, after learning of their garage services I chose to get some work done. I was able to wait while they worked on it and I was out in a flash! The deal was more than fair! I witnessed a number of other people come and go while waiting and their staff was nothing but polite, courteous and respectful while I was there.

Lady tried say the car wasn’t there even after asking the police department. Makes you pay a big amount of money for keeping a car you didn’t ask them to tow or take in the first place. It’s such a big process for some people to get their cars back I understand why they got too many. If you got a car towed with problems it’s not even worth getting it out. Now they’ll say your cars abandoned like you really wanted to abandon it. For the family’s with kids whose cars they can’t get out I feel for them. Idk that’s some evil stuff to me and I’m putting it nicely.

I needed a part for my car the guy located the part within minutes and was super cheap on the price..got me going on the road asap didint mis a days work.. MATOS TOWING IS THE BEST.

Its a shame that this company hires the drivers that they do. Everything that is wrong in this world! Not because he was doing his job but because the manner in which he did his job. Very unfortunate that he felt it was necesary to treat people with such little consideration.

They are scammers, stole my car and told me my register car was not registered, the car also had a permit to park at my apartment lot, i called them to tell them my car was registered, they told me i still had to pay 150 dollars because they needed to pay for the driver. I have proof and will find a way to report it to the bbb and also penndot.

BEWARE OF THESE INSURANCE SCAMMERS!!Matos Towing is an insurance scammer! I have roadside assistance through my insurance company so I called them because my car wouldnt start after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. The insurance company asked if I needed a tow truck or just a jump. I told them I didnt know so they sent Matos Towing with a flatbed.The 2 young guys they sent were able to get my car started by jumping the battery but told me they still HAD to tow my car. When I questioned why, the one kid just kept saying they had to tow it. I was stupid enough to let them tow it and contacted my insurance agent the next day who said they should NOT have towed it since they were able to get it started.The insurance company investigated....not sure what happened, but I hope I hope they lost their contract with the insurance company.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. Working with the person who towed my car was the most frustrating thing Ive had to do in a very long time. If a company advertises that they have a towing service then thats what they should do. Tow cars. If I wanted a lesson in mechanics then I would have gone to school for that. What should have been a short, painless process turned into a 3 hour affair. I will not be using this towing service or business for any car related problems henceforth.

Matos motors tows and impounds cars for the city of Reading, PA. Towing and impound fees are outrageously high . You are charged every day your car is there, even if they are closed. Fees are charged if you want to remove your possessions. They charge you $45 if your car wont start. They have so many fees that its almost cheaper to buy a new car. The staff is rude and my whole experience here was horrible.
