The guys here do fantastic work and are so kind. Only place I’ve taken my car to be serviced since I moved to this area. Their prices are also very reasonable and they won’t try to rip you off or over charge!

I have used Monro twice for oil changes. The personel is very knowledgeable of the process and work in a timely manner. The facilities are very clean and they treat you honestly, respectfully. There are no surprise additional charges,in fact they will give you a discount without the need for coupons. This will continue to be my vehicle maintenance provider. Jim, the manager genuinely works to make this place a great automotive service provider location.

Excellent service and very knowledgeable personnel. Went in for an oil change and brakes and rotors because my car was stuttering when i would brake. I explained this to them over the phone, and he said he would drive the car himself so he could feel whats going on. Later he calls me and patiently explains that my brakes and rotors were fine, saving me some money! Turns out it was another issue that would resolve itself. I know many other places would just change them and charge me, only for me to have to go back when the issue would continue. So glad i went here first!

I was treated very kindly and was given a quick and honest estimate on work I needed done on my exhaust. I appreciated very much that they showed me exactly where the problem was on the exhaust/muffler of my car and that they gave me very useful advice! They didnt charge me anything for the estimate and they had it done within 5 minutes. They were also very nice on the phone and in person. I highly recommend this location (Perkiomen Ave)!

I made an appointment online for 3PM. However, my earlier time became open and I went over to check how things were going with them. They had a cancellation and were able to do my car right on the spot. Took care of a screw in my tire, inspection and completion in the normal time. THANKS TO THE CREW THERE!! Current (new from the last time I was here) manager is a real d-bag. I scheduled a appointment here, one of the questions he asked me when making it, was if I was dropping off or waiting. I told him waiting. I guess he thought I said dropping off because when I showed up, he seemed very annoyed that I was waiting. He must of said “there’s a difference between dropping off and waiting” a least 3 times. Like dude your going to be performing the same job regardless. Don’t be passive aggressive towards me because you put in the wrong info in the computer.

Mike and the workers there do such a fantastic job. We have taken our cadillac here multiple times and everyone is so kind and they do a great job. We will not be taking our car anywhere else but here! Thank you guys! We will be back :)

Great service my only complaint was they obviously dont use covers for the seats. I had a wet spot on the drivers seat and oily finger marks on the passenger seats.

I had brakes done back in June, they squeezed me in before my drive to GA for vacation. All was fine. Imagine my surprise when a horrid screeching grinding noise started the Tuesday after labor day. I was ready for a fight, but at 2 minutes before closing, the manager personally came out to the parking lot to check it out. After about 5 minutes of driving, listening and looking, he found the culprit...a stone jammed between the rotor and back plate! He worked it loose, and didnt stop till he got it all the way out. All after he could have just left for home, but he didnt. He spent the time to ensure my safety. Thars what service is all about. Thank you!!

Found a screw between the tire treads. Called and spoke to Mike who told me to bring it around- Saturday afternoon Labor Day Weekend . Took my mothers car in because she had just been out on some gravel roads and was having some engine vibration in reverse. Ethan, their manager, told her she needed 4 motor mounts and the cost would be between $1200 and $2000. I doubted this and took the car to an actual mechanic - not one who learned to change oil during a 15 minute computer training and by tinkering with his 86 Iroc Z between mullet trims.Mechanic tells me there is a rock stuck between the center engine mount and the car. $80 bucks and its fixed.Monro tried to rip off a senior citizen. Here we are in the midst of a pandemic, everyone is short on cash, and my mother, 75, on a very fixed income, was almost ripped off by Monro.I called to complain and was told by Ethan to Come down and complain to his face.STEER CLEAR IF YOU LIKE YOUR MONEY.

Took my truck in for inspection and had no issues. I didn’t have an appointment; which is my fault, but they took it anyway if I was able to drop it off with them. They didn’t try to sell me anything that I didn’t need since it’s an older truck (1995) they at least made me aware of normal maintenance that should be done. I will take my other cars back here when I need to.

The staff was very friendly and appreciative. I had brought in my 2015 Hyundai Genesis Coupe for rotor and pad swap for all 4 wheels along with an oil change. I was impressed with how quick they got the job done. Not to mention, it was a whole lot cheaper than the last place I went to! I drove my car around a bit before heading home and the car runs and stops great. They definitely have my business in the future!

I’ve been here a few times in the last year for oil change, swapping of winter and summer tires and most recently a battery replacement. What a great place. I hit a ladder that fell off a truck and took a large chunk out of my tire. They assured me that I could wait a few days to get it fixed and it was safe to drive then when I did get it fixed they where fast and efficient. We just moved here a few months ago and Monro will definitely be our go to for all our car needs.

02/27/2020, So My truck has been out of commission for 4 days, I called 2 Walmart’s with no success, i have no idea why I thought about googling Monroe but I did 😁. I’m very pleased. I never went there but had great customer service today over the phone from Mike!, I was looking for a speciality tire, Mike went above and beyond to help me. They didn’t have one in stock BUT he looked up to see who had one and he referred me to a place! One left in stock !! Thank you Mike for an awesome customer service experience! (Soft skills, some which don’t have any clue of). If I ever need anything else for my vehicle it’s well worth the drive to come here!! Highly recommended! Cannot give enough stars..... I had to be at the airport to get my Nike child off of a flight, insert a nail in the tire- literally. Called two other monro locations, pep boys etc.... no one could get me in til next week. Flight comes TODAY 3:55pm.... it’s 11am. When I called the Mt Penn location, the gentleman was super courteous and incredibly understanding. He said boogie on over, I’ll fit you in between so you may have to wait a bit but I will get you out of here by 1:15..... I was there 45 minutes, nail was removed, tire fixed from INSIDE out.... secure and safe for the philly trip.... and it was done for FREE. Needless to say ALL my tire needs will hands down go to them! You guys are amazing!

Brian and his team were great! I brought my car for an oil change and new brakes. Money is a little tight this month and I was worried about the cost of a break job. Brian called and me that I still had another 3 or 4 months before new brakes were needed. I never told him that I was worried about cost! I thought, WOW, I just found a truly honest repair shop! Now I will always bring my car to Brian at Monroe.

Clocked out from work in Lancaster at 4pm. Walked outside to a flat tire on my car. Luckily I had a small compressor in the trunk. Filled the tire and headed home to Reading. Got to Reading with a low tire pressure warning on my dash. Called around and every shop was either closed or too busy to fix my tire. About the 5th call I got Mike at Monroe. He was about to close. I told him what was going on and he said bring it in and Ill take care of it. He got right on it and got me out he door in 30 minutes. Thanks Mike for the outstanding service!!!!!

My daughter’s car would start and die again repeatedly, then died completely. Three towing companies looked at it while trying to jump it and maneuver it down our steep driveway, and thought it was the starter. The mechanic at Monro Mufflers discovered that the key was corroded and was triggering the anti-theft system. We used the other set of keys and were able to start it. He saved us a huge headache and his honesty saved us a huge repair bill.

Took my car in for state inspection and oil change. They notice I needed new tires and a wheel alignment and showed me so I can see it for myself, which I really appreciate. They had my car finished in 3 hours. Will be going back. Highly recommended

Great service, young man in the front was much more honest than any other place has been with me. I was told I needed brakes all the way around on my car. I came in and asked if they could check, he got me in and brought me out to look at each of my brakes to show me that they all had at least 50% life left. I will be coming back to them to replace my brakes when I need them and all of my other cars needs

These guys have been servicing my cars for years. I had a simple flat and I called three other locations, my guys at Exeter made one call and made sure I was taken care of from afar!! Now that is service.

Make sure you bring someone that is knowledgeable about cars if you plan on bringing your vehicle to this location for any work . My daughter had an oil change done and they checked everything off on the list. How could they check the washer fluid if it was empty.. They refuse to tell customers about the oil change special. And an extra quart of oil is $5.99-9.99 a quart. Too lazy to go check what the price is. I guess we will go to jiffy lube from now on. Not to mention they wanted $730.00 To fix my car. I brought it somewhere else and it was a $40 part. Cost $100. They listed stuff that wasn’t even wrong with the car. I should have reported them.

I had a flat tire and was able to limp the car here. Even though I didn’t have an appointment they took care of me. No games, no up-sell. Pricing was very fair and service was quick.

I had an awesome experience here. Mike helped me and was very friendly and helpful. They were able to get me in almost immediately and changed my brakes in no time, even showing me the damaged parts. I will be going back for sure.

My car sounded horrible on monday, I dropped it off with the manager: Mike. He diagnosed the problem and found the parts I needed for cheap. He also charged next to nothing for his time. I stopped here at 6 on a Wednesday about two weeks ago. My brakes were grinding, and i knew I needed everything replaced but the two other places I stopped said they couldn’t do it that night, even though they didn’t have anything in their shop. There was only one person working when I arrived and he was working on two vehicles already, I had figured he would decline helping me, but instead he told me if I could wait for about half an hour he would help me that night. He did what he said and he had my car finished and me back on the road before 7. I will be coming back here from now on

First let me say I have been a good customer here for years. 5 vehicles in my family and they have lost my business for good. They replaced my catalytic converter (over $1200), but I took it back because muffler/ tailpipe was rattling and moving around. They tightened it, but still had same problem. Called district manager, and took back to a different Monro location (sinking spring) 2 additional times. The exhaust assembly still makes loud noise, rattles, vibrates. I called the district manager again, and received NO RESPONSE . But wait: theres more. Driving home from the Poconos, my Subaru started shaking and handling funny. Turns out the lug nuts were loose and coming off the left front wheel (they installed the tires). Im lucky I wasnt in an accident. No joke, I am not making this up. I cant tell you the last time Ive seen such a total disregard for customer service.

Brought my car in for new tires and was serviced by Brian. The tires that fit my car were significantly more expensive than we both thought but he did everything he could to get me a great deal. Dropped my car off on Monday after work and it was ready by Tuesday afternoon. Great service and Id definitely recommend this shop

I have been taking my vehicles to this Monro Muffler since 2008. I have always received good service and a fair price with no issues afterward. Theyve done everything from oil changes to electronics work for me here and they have always done a good job.
