I had a oil change done the young lady (forgot to get her name) that works in the service department was wonderful and the waiting area is nice and they make you feel comfortable! They also come out to keep you updated with whats going on with your vehicle! Michael was great with getting my oil change done and they also washed my vehicle after the oil change!! Purchasing my car there was great. Servicing it there was another issue. If you want quality service, DO NOT go to this dealership. I dropped my car off for a recall and another repair. They had it for 48 hours. I got the car back with the Oil light still on, the car was not vacuumed nor wiped down (although the mats were wet in the front). I drove a mile down the road and the tire pressure light went on. When I called the dealership they said the guys mustve forgotten to press reset once they rotated the tires. Additionally, I had a drivers side light (not headlight) that wasnt working when I went in. It was MY fault that I didnt mention this at the time of drop off. However, after 48 hours of being there, I think someone would have noticed and called to see if I wanted it repaired. I have another car (brand) serviced at the dealership and they offer EXEMPLARY service. I was mistaken that Mastria would offer the same level of service in the Service Department as they did in their Sales Department. This is not the case. Update: 3 weeks after this NON-service, service appointment, the check engine light goes on, even though they claimed they did a diagnostic analysis and everything was fine. If you want a dishonest mechanic, go to Mastria Service department.

I inquired about a vehicle through CarGuru and was contacted very quickly by the online sales team, at Mastria VW, to schedule an appointment. I was able to search the inventory, test drive 3 vehicles, and drive out with my new Subaru Crosstrek in the same day. EVEN THOUGH I GAVE THEM 3 STARS I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP.I read the reviews on this dealership and couldn’t understand the low star reviews. So I decided to take a chance and give them the opportunity to sell me a car.The entire process took approximately 5 or 6 weeks with LOTS of calls and Emails back and fourth but nonetheless we reached the goal of selling a car.I was told that they were unsure of the process of selling a car to someone in Vermont and the necessary costs and logistics of such a sale. But I kept pushing for a sale regardless. (I really wanted this vehicle)Then I was told that the higher ups were uneasy about selling me a vehicle that I have not seen, test driven, or had a chance to inspect closely for myself. (it was sold as-is as far as I know)I even went as far as to suggest a “virtual test drive” and all the pictures they could amass.All that aside I still pushed the need for a sale and eventually my bank got in touch and smoothed the whole process to the finish line…I noticed also that the price that was listed online was listed lower than the price in the sales agreement which was $100 more.Delivery is definitely an area that needs to be improved.We had agreed on meeting in east providence, RI between 12:15 - 12:30. I arrived at 12:05 and was excited to be early so I could flag down the runners that were delivering the car from 37 minutes away. I called the dealership and got my sales reps voicemail but he did return the call and informed me that they left around 12:30.They didn’t arrive until 1:15 and by that time the runners in my car were pretty stir crazy in the heat. We were late getting everyone home and inadvertently caused people to be late to their family functions.I would say the dealership should verse/train themselves in more out-of-state sales to better stream the process faster as well as “final mile delivery “I found them on cargurus and their response time was great!

Scheduled simple service and oil change this morning for 10 am and I am just walking out of there 3 hours later even thought there was several checkpoints they could not complete. Also was charged an additional $100 for tire alignment even though I told the sales rep that if it was not included I would hold off. After waiting 3 hours even though I was told it would not take over 60 minutes the sales rep did make a nice gesture and take $25 off but I still overpaid $75 more than my service and was not able to get my whole service complete for whatever reason while many people came in and out and were attended to quickly as I was waiting. Terrible experience

Ed was very knowledgeable and did try to get me into a new vehicle. Unfortunately it was unaffordable for me. But got into an 18 tiguan. Am very happy with it. Ive got a list started w/?? For when i go back for registration and inspection.

ThievesIMy wife brought in her 2007 VW beetle for an oil change & to look @ the drivers window which was not going up. They told her the regulator was no good and they we back ordered 1000.00 for an OEM.which they charged 75.00 diagnose the issue. This weekend I decided to look @ it myself. As I started to remove the inside drives door panel it was very apparent it was never removed.So how can they tell me that the regulator was the issue?. After looking not too closely I found the bolt that holds the front clip that holds the window in place fell out. I reinstalled the bolt and guess what the window works great! I am so disgusted with Mastria VW I will never go back!

The sales person Ed was good to work with, but the financing is another issue. First of all I had a bank loan check for 20k and was going to pay the difference out of my personal account. . Then I’m told that a bank check would have to be held for a few days. But if I wanted to take the car the same day I could finance through Mastria at the same rate.I’m with the finance manager who tried to get me to buy additional coverage and I said no to all of them. Then here came the curveball. He says to me I have only done this one other time. I should have know here comes the hustle, he says I can give you 1.99% if you take take 63 months and he can give me the extended warranty for an additional $5 dollars a month. I said what’s the catch he says no catch but then here it comes, he adds the 2100 to the price I was going to finance 27k now I’m financing 29k so I asked him and he told me that because of the lower rate that’s the savings, so I was thrown off and after I drove off the lot I realized I’m not really saving anything and I got taken for another 2k. Lesson learned I will NEVER finance at the dealership and by pass the finance dept.

Went looking around for a car with no crazy intentions of buying right away. As a new nurse working crazy hours in all weather, I wanted something reliable that could withstand any weather. The Tiguan was the perfect size car I was looking for. Danny Cabral came right out to help us in the yard to answer all our questions. He was full of knowledge of Volkswagen as well as a variety of other car brands. He made us feel so comfortable with no pressure and was easy to talk to. We discussed the leasing options vs buying, and all the pros and cons. He knew all about the features of each, after discussion we decided to go through with it. As a first time vehicle buyer I was skeptical because I had never been through the process of buying a car. Danny was awesome. We proceeded to do paperwork with mark striggles the business manager and immediately felt rushed, as he kept talking about what he had to do for the next customer etc. I had agreed to 0% interest for 5 years, but mark stated if I added some warranties it would be 72 months at 1.9% interest but he would pay the interest for me, and I thought it was a good deal. I came home and started to review the warranties (which are great) with my family & friends, but I ultimately did not need them all for such a crazy price, which was kind of slid under the table at the time of agreeing. I went back the next day to pick my car up & told mark I would like to cancel some of them, not needing to explain myself why, he continuously told me I was making a big mistake. He tried to tell me I couldnt cancel them because they were part of the car but it clearly stated I was able to cancel them. Because I wanted to cancel the warranties he told me the contract was already signed but, I am now stuck with the 72 months at 1.9% interest, paying the interest instead of him paying it, despite originally agreeing to 5 years for 0%. Overall Danny made the process on his end easy and has continued to follow up to see how the car is but being a first time car buyer, you have to be careful with what they are sneaking into the contract and really pay attention to detail, despite what they are telling you, I wish we were given the time to review the paperwork when we were there rather than being rushed out, it would’ve made the process easier and less confusing.

I was in market for Volkswagen Cross Sport, Tiguan or Mazda CX 5. The 1st two I drove at Mastria VW and then went to Mastria Mazda. My salesman Ed at VW was extremely patient, knowledgeable and kind. I have gone to Mastria in the past to browse and inquire about vehicles, however this was my first actual purchase. Dan helped me from start to finish picking out and purchasing my new Vw. 5 STAR experience, even though I didn’t end up buying the vehicle (Porsche Cayenne)!!!!Greg and Chris went out of their way to accommodate my every need and answer all my questions.Their service is truly excellent and their vehicles are in great condition, just as they promised.At no point did I feel pressured to make the purchase or deceived about anything, and that’s really hard to come by when dealing with car dealership!!!!The only reason I did not finalize the deal was because I was too picky! (Will not go into details with that...)
