Prior to my current experiences I rated Monro of Raynham at 5 stars. Since Danas departure things have gone downhill. I realize that mistakes happen and I tend to give businesses chances to improve because were all people. But my last visit to Monro was their last chance.I took my car in to have my brakes changed I was informed that services would take 2-3 hours. I decided to walk around the neighborhood for the first two hours. The tech assigned to my car took off the wrong part with a hammer resulting in new parts being needed. I was informed of this 30 minutes after returning to the waiting area. When asked if this would mean a longer wait I was told no it wouldnt. I waited another two hours. No updates on time or status updates. Just hell be done soon before Josh went to take his lunch.Throughout my wait I witnessed the tech smoking cigarettes in the garage, and generally wasting time. At the end of my appointment Josh informed me that his tech was complaining that they hadnt received their lunch he seemed clueless to the fact that my mother and I hadnt eaten throughout this entire process he was only concerned with being annoyed by his tech. No apologies for the long wait.You would think this would end here no I was charged twice and the corporate team has yet to resolve the matter a week later.
I called on Memorial Day to see if I could make an appointment for service. There was no answer and I assumed that they were closed. About a 1/2 hour later, they called back because my number was in the caller id. I told them my car was leaking break fluid. They said to bring it in & they would look at it. My car was ready within a few hours. Dependable service and I will be returning to them in the future!!
Go before 11am or theyre just all around lazy and make excuse. 0 grit or pride in their work.
First time there. I swung in with a car I had recently bought because there was a metallic scapping noise that suddenly happened while on the highway. Turn out to be a metal heat shield on my exaust. It was the first place I saw so I pulled in. The manager, Dana, took a look at it and told me what it was. I asked if he had any openings, he didnt, but his next client was running late so he snuck me in super quick and took the plate off for me. Great customer service. Ill be back.
(Feb. 2021) Josh, front desk, was very responsive, straightforward, and reliable. Mechanic, Jesse, took time to explain everything that was being done and followed through. Good job, everyone!(Nov. 2020) Dana, the manager, was very polite and professional. The mechanic, Jordan, was also very excellent. It was an efficient, accurate, honest assessment of the problem and fixed. Highly recommend.
I was dropping my SO off to pick up his car for some routine maintenance. At the height of the winter COVID issues I was concerned about 1) letting him out of the car and 2) walking into the small customer vestibule. From my view inside the car, I was pleasantly surprised that everyone inside was wearing masks, the posting of Monroe dedicated signage re social distancing, and what appeared to be the very reason SO chose this Monroe location: the manager’s customer service. My SO has a lot a car issues so naturally we are back a lot. This Monroe (from what I can tell of the manager Dana) has been an answered prayer for our 10 year old plus fleet at home.
Dana is so friendly and professional. You can tell he loves what he does. I had my first visit there today for an oil change and I would highly recommend! They comb through your car to let you know exactly what is working well and what may need work or even how long you can hold off until.
Dana was very helpful, honest and professional. I made an appointment and told him I’d need to drop the car off after hours the night before. He thoroughly explained where to put my keys (they don’t have a mailbox type key drop). The day after I dropped my car off he called early in the day to let me know what was wrong and he even called the dealership for me to see if it was under warranty. It was under warranty so he told me where to take it and wished me the best without trying to sell me any unnecessary services. I’m a happy customer and will return the next time I need my car serviced.
Had my oil changed yesterday, was super fast,easy,and friendly. I had made my appointment online and dropped it off, Dana greeted me and was nothing but friendly and personable. I have been here in the past but felt very comfortable and welcomed with this visit the most. Thank you for a great experience I will be back

Dana at the Raynham Monro location was awesome. Less than an hour before closing time on Xmas Eve and my brake hose let it go. It told me to bring it right in and they assured my family would be safe for the holidays. Thanks again guys!

Superior customer service with Dana and his team. This was refreshing after a long and frustrating wait for AAA to arrive. We left our car in Dana’s hands for a new tire after we suffered a flat tire in route home to CT after our vacation on the Cape. We walked across the street to grab a quick bite. When we returned not only were we all set with a brand new tire, but Dana had re-packed our trunk with all our bags/belongings! Way above and beyond — and he is just the nicest man to talk to! If you are ever in need, you can’t go wrong with Dana at Monro!!
My tire pressure light came on in my car this evening on the way home from work. After stopping at 3 gas stations whose machines were out of order, I saw the light on in Monroe Mufflers office. I went and knocked on the door and asked the gentleman working if he would be able to help me. Dana was so helpful! He had me pull up my car and checked all my tires and adjusted them for me.With caring technicians like this, I know where I will be going when my car needs work in the future! Thanks again Dana!

Excellent customer service! We were traveling cross country from Massachusetts to Oklahoma. We called Dana (on a Saturday morning) and we explained our problem and they were able to look and diagnose the problem in very little time. Being so far away from home, it was refreshing to have someone take care of you. They fixed our car and sent us on our way, safely and nicely. Dana even called us after we left to make sure everything was ok. Kudos to the mechanic- he was able to fix our annoying, but scary to us problem. They did a great job! Go there!!!!

I had a nail removed from a tire today at Monroe in Raynham. I was shocked at the speed from the time I stopped by unannounced (12 minutes) until the time the technician pulled my car out front. This is my third time at this location, each time is better than before. Thank you Monroe for making 2020 a better year.
Got my oil change done today. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. Dana the manager was also great at getting me in and making sure my needs were met. And they are so clean and make sure everything was well disinfected and sanitized.

I came in for an oil change and had the pleasure of interacting with the staff, truly made my day. The customer service was exceptional with a full thorough checkup of my car. I am a registered nurse with a nail in my tire looking for shop to fix it. I went to four places and all refused and said I needed to make an appointment for the following day because they were too busy. I was pretty much ignored at each of those other places. I drove into my last resort Monroe in Raynham, MA. Dana at reception at first said they were booked solid; I explained this was my only day off, that I had been to four other shops, no one would help me and was an RN. Dana immediately said...hand me those keys ....today is going to get better fast. Within 30 minutes the nail was removed, tire repaired and I was on my way. I am so grateful for the kindness Dana showed me, as well as the young man who stopped what he was doing and did the actual repair. It may seem like a small gesture to most, but to me it was HUGE! Thank you!

Absolutely worse place to have anything done total rip-off had four brand new tires put on talked me into doing front brakes too.woke up next morning front drivers side new tire was completely flat had to put air in it to go back and see what was wrong they said defaulty valve stem fixed it .on my way 7 months later had to redo brakes by a reputable dealer and all four tires they put on have to be refilled with air every two weeks keep losing air they totally suck after spending 1200 dollars and the whole day

Had a great experience yesterday at this location. I came in in the morning for an oil change. It was my first time there because I just moved to Taunton. Later in the day I realized that my headlights stopped working and I brought it back to see if it was something that could have been accidentally messed with during the oil change. I didn’t know what time they closed, but I figured I would see. The store had actually closed an hour before but Dana and Jesse were still there. They saw me pull up and had no problem helping me out real quick! I will definitely be using them for any car needs I have! Thank you!
I just wanna say thank you again to the staff at Monroe. Here I was leaving town for to weekend but before so I realized I needed my oil changed. I then Googled places near me and after reading a few reviews I knew Monroe was my only hope. After explaining to them my concerns they immediately put me at ease. This is my second time going to Monro Auto service in Raynham. I had Dana both times. He runs the shop well and answered all my questions. He quoted me what I looked on line. An honest and satisfying experience. Neat clean and well organized. I will definitely be back for future service.

So love seeing other businesses truly making you feel like wow these guys care. I got off the highway because my truck suddenly started making a loud noise. When I was pulling in I noticed it was after hours but I entered and explained my issue and the importance of time was important because its my work truck. Without hesitation they came outside and from the moment they touch it they were on a mission and respected the need to have it. Best experience I’ve had yet! They made sure to give my car a quick inspection while doing my oil change. They told me the one thing they found wrong with it, and went over the entire inspection with me in detail! They even gave my niece (4 yr old) a balloon to take home! Best price and service around! Had to help out a family member with an oil change last minute. Everywhere I went they kept saying no no no until I went to Monro. There were cars in every bay with one sticking out half way. The customers were doing their social distancing. Dana Lee said if I wanted to go visit some of the other near by business for needed items and kill two birds with one stone he would figure out a way to help me out. I told him that I noticed the precautions he was taking that no one else was thinking about, which was sanitizing the money. Paper money is the dirtiest, easiest and quickest way to spread the virus. Dana said he wanted me to be comforted that there was no safer place to go then Monro.

Its taken me 2 months to get around to this new review- but the fact it meant enough after times passed to actually do it says a lot. Im glad to see a lot of very satisfied reviews, & saddened to read some saying theyd been tricked, had things added- my experience has consistently been the exact opposite.I had friends taking care of my cars situations for years, but these days theyre busy w/other things trying to get by in COVID-time. Going to an auto service place can be quite intimidating, esp. as a non-mechanic woman whos heard car repair horror stories. Ive gone to the Raynham Monro several times now, felt like I was treated respectfully by genuine people (all men so far), & did not feel rushed, talked down to, or pushed into services I didnt need or cant afford. (And I did get to talk things over w mechanic friends thereafter!)Most recently, I brought my 16 year old (2004) genuine Honda CRV, Consumer-Reports-celebrated ever-go in for an oil change. Ive owned a lovely parade of elderly cars, & thus wld not be surprised to hear that any parts cracked, corroded, etc. & itll be 15 or 20 suffering dollars to replace it. While sitting in the waiting room reading, Id absentmindedly heard the mechanic letting the manager know the oil fill cap was cracked. Sure enough, I read the bill & it listed the oil fill cap as having been replaced. But then that amount was subtracted from the bill, & itemized as cracked during oil change! Seems to me that kind of honesty in service is rare. I was surprised, I know that- & of course, this is why I feel entering the review is worth it, even 2 months later.My 1st experience with the Raynham Monro was just an ordinary oil change, nothing exceptional in any way. They started to stand out for me when I came in unexpectedly with my tailpipe dragging. (I think they had to schedule me for the next day, since I got there at the end of the day.) They went over everything, gave me an estimate, and when I let them know I just wasnt able to afford to replace the whole thing, they managed to weld it together, & very affordably! They warned me it wasnt a permanent solution- but that was over a year ago, & thank goodness, so far, so good, no fumes, no rattling & the pipes still up where it belongs. Since, theyve also replaced brakes, again without charging me what I just dont have, and advised me on long-term maintenance, as called for in the manufacturers manual.I sincerely hope you give the Raynham Monro a try. I like the personal touch the manager gives the place, & think the mechanics are genuine & trying to give value for their customers. Seems to me, if theyd been quality issues in the past, theyre definitely now working to turn that ship around.
From out town, was so skeptical that I was going to find a place to help me with my check engine light. Was as concerned that I was going to be taken advantage of because I was not from this area. I was so glad to meet Dana at Monro as he put faith back in me that there are still people out there that care and take the time to help me understand what was going on with something I know nothing about. What nice guys. I went in needing air for my tire, and Dana took great care of me and didnt charge a cent. Made sure I knew my tire would need replacing soon, which I knew, but didnt push for a sale. Great experience here. Thanks guys!

Went in for a quick oil change, Dana and staff were able to get me in and out quickly. i didnt have an appointment but i stopped in hoping to get the car fixed. VERY VERY CLEAN. i watched him actually disinfect cash a previous customer gave him. very safe clean place to go in these crazy times

I stopped by here in August looking for 4 newer (odd sized) tires for my car, these guys were so friendly and polite, helped me find the exact brand for the best price. They ordered my tires, next day I dropped it off and it was all set a couple hours later! He aligned my car for me when most places say they will buy dont. Thankful I stopped in, I’ll be back!

My low air pressure/tire light came on as I was heading south on Rte 24 to a very important business appointment. With concern, I pulled off the highway and was lucky enough to pull into Monroe. Yes, I had a nail in the side wall of my tire, in a place that could not be easily plugged or repaired. But they knew just what to do - put a good tire in the front, the donut spare on the back, and sent me on my way within 15 minutes. I cannot thank them enough for the prompt, professional service and the calming way they handled my anxiety. If I lived in this area, I would be a regular customer. Job well done!
When unexpected emergency repairs try and ruin your day it is great to find someone like Dana Lee who has a we will figure it out and find way to make it happen attitude. I was helped today by two great people Dana and Bill. I was stuck in middleboro today with many angels surrounding me i was brought to these two men that were the last two angels of my long frustrating day. They not only fixed my tire but they took time to educate me on the cause of the flat and was ready to assist me while saving me money. I cannot tell you how happy i am they were here to help where everyone else was closed or was not able to help till Monday. I work 7 days week. They assisted me with a smile with no problems i know where i will be purchasing all my tires and its where i was treated like family and not just a customer l. Thank you Dana and Bill you made are one of many that made a horrible day turn to a good one.

My husband and I just had the best experience!We got stuck with a faulty tire driving by this location and as we pulled in we realized the place was closed!!!! However, there was a man inside who ran out to our rescue and did so out of kindness of his heart as it was after his work hours ! His name is Dana and he truly saved our day and possibly our lives! I was passing by, about to get on the highway when a warning light popped up on my dashboard, that made me nervous. I was lucky enough to be in front of Monro Auto Service and they checked out the warning and told me what to watch out for, and assured me that I would be safe to continue on my way home. Their reassurance made me much more comfortable driving home.

Fast easy experience
I had an oil change at a competitor. I got home and there was oil on my driveway. I went to work and there was oil under my car. I called the garage and they told me that it was impossible. I was driving home and the oil light came on. There was practically no oil in my car. I had it towed to Monro and they found the oring on the cartridge was installed wrong. They fixed it and changed the oil and for under $100 they saved my engine. I will never have ANYONE BUT MONRO work on my car. Dana thank you for the fast and great service.
