Drivers are on a regular schedule, always courteous when you talk to them.

Very professional. Use them for garbage pickup. Once a piece of paper flew out of the car while it was dumping. The employee shut off the truck, got out to grab the paper and threw it in our can. Above and beyond since our trash should have been bagged securely.

Completely ignored by their customer service multiple times about an issue where they took my personal trash can and threw it away. Got forwarded to their superiors and ignored again.

Derek and his team at Keefer made my commercial roofing job run smoothly when it came to hauling the debris and toilets and hand wash stations.His trucks were on time, with professional and courteous drivers.The toilet and hand washing units were in excellent condition, well serviced on a consistent schedule.

Changed our Trash day to Monday, and we were out of town quite a few Mondays, so we put our trash on the other side of the sidewalk, so people wouldnt know we werent home, and break into our house, or something. Theyre too lazy to walk a few extra feet to pick up our trash. We switched companies, and will never use their service again. Id rather haul it all to the dump myself, than deal with their laziness. I suggest you all do the same 👍

Dont plan on getting your trash picked up on time if the roads in your area are remotely bad. Got a skiff of snow and now are trash is piling up. The drivers dont like to chain up during inclement weather so plan on hanging on to your trash for 2 weeks, after which they charge for more than one 100 gal. can, cant make this up. Go with Sanders Sanitation instead.

I had service with them about 6 years ago, and they charge me for several months but didnt pick up my garbage, then they claimed I hadnt paid.Recently, they merged with Reber, I know but he told me until I got a bill from Kieffer. As soon as I got the first bill I disconnected service and went elsewhere. Now theyre billing me for 2 months, when I only had service with them for about three weeks.Its also abundantly obvious that most of the positive reviews they get are written by employees or friends of their employees.I switched to Sanders, better service, bigger tote, the tote has a clasp to keep the lid from blowing open, less expensive, and their employees are super polite on the phone.

Since I have been in Rapid City, the team at Kieffer has been great to work with. They are professionals that are always there and never let you down. I have been working directly with Seth and he is someone I can count on and enjoy working with. Currently staying at the Buffalo Chip for the Sturgis Rally. Paid $60.00 to have our RV tank pumped out during our stay. They told us that it would be done at some point during the day as we were heading out on a ride in the mountains. Returned only to find the tank showing 2/3 full. Went out to check the tank itself and it was still full of waste. So called in to the company this morning. Guy basically said it was our faulty RV Meter or a clog and hung up the phone! We have never had issues before! I guess they see this as a point to take advantage of the situation and rip people off! So IF you need to get an RV tank pumped out I HIGHLY suggest you make sure you physically watch them do it or else they will take your money and run! Sad I had to even give a 1 star! Not an honest company and do NOT stand behind their work!!!

We loved having Kieffer trash and recycling service. I called around to many places and they were the only ones that offered residential recycling pickup, which was very important to us. The staff is excellent to work with as well, they were always super helpful and responsive. Our trash can blew away and was damaged by South Dakota winds, when I called to inquire about a new can they had it replaced that same day!Dereck and Seth are also very involved in giving back to our community, it is nice to invest in a company committed to the great costumer service and investing in our community!

Started a new addition to my house. Dereck was wonderful to work with on getting a roll off dumpster set up for me a lot faster then I expected. I do not have the biggest driveway or places to park. The driver that dropped off the dumpster nailed the spot perfect! I was still able to squeeze a car in driveway. When I was all finished with demo of project, Dereck had scheduled the pick up. Kieffer is by far the easiest people to work with on my project. I highly recommend them to anyone needing services they offer, and I will use them again in future.

I am very disappointed my trash has not been picked up for two weeks now. Although they still expect me to pay my monthly fee. I will be looking for another service very soon. My pick up day is on a Friday. I realize we had Thanksgiving and then we had a blizzard on Saturday it is now Thursday and my trash will not be picked up until Friday. This is totally unacceptable! They offered to give me a discount. I just want my trash to be picked up now I have to go to the top of the driveway and drag it all the way down.

0 stars. They’ve failed to collect my garbage 3 out of the 5 weeks I’ve lived here, I watched them break my neighbors garbage can slamming it with claw, and they took the lid to our can. Poorest service I’ve ever had when it comes to simple garbage collection. When you allow your employees to do this poor of a job it reflects negatively on the entire company and it’s management. Get new drivers or start disciplining the ones you have to do a proper job. Seriously unimpressed.

Kieffer Sanitation provided dependable, courteous professional service for my planned outdoor event during the summer in 2018 and 2019. I intend to use them again during the Sturgis rally in 2020.I really appreciate the fact that they usually answer their phones rather than let them go to voicemail and are really responsive to the sometimes urgent need for waste pick-up. The staff are knowledgeable and helped me with deciding what services I would need and delivered the Porta-potties on time which were clean and in good order. They also kept to a schedule and returned daily to empty trash receptacles and check on the Porta-potties. So the sanitation aspect of my new event went well and I did not worry and knew what to expect into my second year. Now I am planning my third year event in 2020 and expecting a larger attendance—so I am glad that I have found Kieffer Sanitation that can and will be able handle this important aspect and support the event as it continues to grow.
