DEC 2020 my veteran wife started to have some numbness in her feet and walking was a problem. The Black HIlls VA pounced on it. MRIs of the head, neck, thorax and lumbar region. Lab tests of every type. They gave her a small wheel chair that she could navigate around the house. Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy came out and evaluated the house and what she needed. Even without a diagnosis, they started taking care of her problems. By July she had gotten a power scooter, lift for the scooter on the back of the car, an elevator from the garage into the house and a chair lift from first floor to second. She got what she needed by keeping them in the loop as to what was going on with her issues. She did not just complain, she was proactive and the VA responded.

Very caring, attentive and professional. This is by far the best healthcare Ive experienced.

I absolutely could not come to the clinic to see my doc any other day than today. I had an appointment yesterday telling me I couldn’t go to my appointment before having labs done. They told me to come at 13:15. I get a call at 10::15 telling me I missed my appointment. I was confused because they told me to come at 13:15. They made it sound like my whole appointment was at 13:15. Nonono. They wanted me to go to my appointment at 10am. Get labs at 13:15. I would still have to go an hour north to ft Meade to get my meds from the pharmacy. I’m Starting to understand why everyone hates the VA.

Dr Weisensee and her assistant Lanie are the best!! Both are VERY through and efficient in everything they do. We have received EXCELLENT care from both. Even follow up calls at home to check up on us. We highly recommended them both to anyone.

I have received great care at the Rapid City VA Clinic by everyone,and DR Bailey is excellent.
