Visited today. Staff friendly. Staff and patrons all wearing masks and safety measures all in place.Alicia is the hairdresser that cut my hair.. This the first time I went to her. She asked me questions about what I wanted. She washed and rinsed my hair. Then cut and styled my hair. It is exactly what I wanted. I really like my haircut and styling. I will gladly return to Alicia.

I came into Tangles today to get an opinion on a haircut that I just had to see if I was being dramatic about it being messed up. Not only did stylist Mike take 15 minutes out of his day to talk to me about what I didnt like about it, he fixed the haircut for me for free in between his appointments.It was honestly probably the nicest thing a total stranger has ever done for me and it makes me want to cry even thinking about it. Thank you Mike, you made my day way better than you could even understand.

This place was pretty good, it was clean and everyone was super friendly. I saw Tiffanie for a haircut and I think she did a pretty good job. She suggested what would look good on me and also showed me a few ways to style it. The prices are pretty reasonable too.

I went here to get my hair trimmed and curled. The lady that cut my hair very nice and the front staff was very helpful and sweet. During my hair cut I mentioned that I dont ever do much to my hair and its very thick so its hard to style. And she suggested I try some long layers and they wouldnt be to drastic. I agreed but I expressed my worry that my hair is donated so I want my layers to be super subtle. She went through cutting, curling and finishing up. The curls looked good and I went to my party. The next day I washed and did my hair like normal and it looks very choppy and the bottom layer of my hair is very thin and it looks like I have extensions. The face framing she did looks like a stair case down the side of my head. I paid 50$ for this hair cut. Its safe to say I wont be going there again. Its to bad because everyone was so nice there too.

Tangles Salon is definitely deserving a thumbs-up 5-star rating overall. Since this is my first visit, my first impression is that I have found a place where I can fulfill my weekly feel good look great treats to myself. An awesome looking salon, I am sold to this place along with my daughters whom I will refer going forward for our hair and beauty needs. Will never go back. After the stylist just wanted a quick job. Seemed hurried and stuck on her phone. This place has gone all bad.

Needed my hair done after another salon over charged me for just a bang cut. I found Tangles Salon and they were very nice on the phone. I made a appt and they were wonderful. Good prices, friendly people and I got a great cut and color. I have been back since then and I will continue to go.

Went to Tangles on a Groupon and wasnt expecting much. However, my experience at Tangles turned out great. My hairstylist Desiree was really nice and did a great job with my highlights and cutting my hair. I gave a full reign to do what she wanted and it turned out awesome My hair looks great. I will be returning to Tangles

I traveled from Louisiana to California for a wedding the Saturday after Thanksgiving. And, of course, I wanted my hair to be done. I made an appointment for a simple updo that afternoon for 12:15. While driving to the salon, I get a call saying my stylist is running 15 minutes behind schedule. Patiently, I wait, I understand. However, then I am ignored - I sit for 45 minutes and when I ask what the status is I am told just finishing up some bangs.. Granted, I walk out and leave.Horrible time management.

Marina did my hair for prom this year and she did fantastic. She was really nice and thorough, and went off a picture I found on pinterest. Im going back today to get a regular hair cut!

I found my experience at Tangles to be enjoyable. My hairstylist Marina was really nice and did a great job cutting my hair. I felt like she listened to what I wanted, which is something I have struggled with other hairstylists. I would recommend her to others...and already have. My hair feels smoother and less damaged since my visit. I will be returning to Tangles.

THE SALON: Nice.... classy atmosphere. Everyone is very friendly. Prices are competitive with other salons in the area. They are closed Sundays and Mondays, which I find odd for the nature of the business and this area/market/economy. Id think theyd get a lot of business from people on Sundays from those that have to work during the week. I understand stylists need days off too, but most other salons have enough stylists to rotate so they can operate seven days a week.MY EXPERIENCE: I went in last week for color. I started with very dark hair, almost black, and went in to have it lightened, which Ive had done before at the Aveda salon in Victoria Gardens (before it closed). I know its challenging with hair as dark as mine, but I also know its possible with my hair from the previous experience. I showed Jessica a pic of my hair back then and told her I wanted that again (medium brown with dark blonde highlights). It came out dark red with lighter red highlights. I dont know if it was the lighting in Tangles or what, but while I was sitting in the chair at the salon before I left, I thought it looked OK. It wasnt until I got home and got a better look that I realized how red it is. Everyone else, from my boyfriend to my kids, has mentioned how red it is, so its not my imagination. Im going back in at the end of this week to see if Jessica can tone it to a cool shade of brown. She is, supposedly, the best colorist Tangles has (I requested the best when I made the appointment) so I remain optimistic.I really like the atmosphere at Tangles, the friendliness of the staff and the rewards program, so Ill give them a couple more chances before I give up and move to another colorist/salon.

I made an appointment a week ahead. With Sandie. When I got there this past Saturday. I walked in and they were very busy which was a great sign. I was immediately greeted with a shout from one of the stylist in the back telling me to text sandie to reschedule that she was out sick and she was too busy to reschedule me. I stood there for a second in silence everybodys staring at me.. and I walked out. I will never go back to this place and I guess Im driving to Santa Monica for a great haircut. Its good theyre busy they dont need to treat people well I guess! Ive never even written a single review I had to go on and do this one because I felt appalled by the way they treated me. Today is Thursday and I have not even received a call from anybody. RUDE!

Do not go see Lauren Laufer!This individual will go harass people on local exchanges and threaten them and call them names. Shes not a nice person. I wouldnt go here or trust her with my hair because shes a very unethical and mean person.She calls other peoples work jokes and harasses them without provocation online.

I really liked this place to start with, very modern, clean, and chill place, Jessica cut my hair she did an amazing job I can not complain I absolutely love my hair and I would love to return to her, she even talked me into investing into a great treatment for my hair witch was $27.99 not too bad, however after reaching the register and being at $75 without the treatment 😟,, then she says plus treatment $95 holly molí, for just a haircut, omg yes she did automatically blow-dry my hair, and did a fab job but I dont think prices should not bee made aware before, this was my first time here, and I dont feel they did a great job in informing me of services, but I will say this place is very nice, Jessica is absolutely amazing, her bubbly personality will make me return, she listen very well n what I wanted did not take more off then I was comfortable with, I recommend her to anyone, she gets 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, I gave 3 cuase I do feel its important for the front desk to know what your walking in to not walking out with! No stars to give but was forced to post this. I was referred to this salon. Basically, if youre new, they give you to whoever needs more clients. NOT to the best whom fits your needs. Jessica did my hair for a few years. She was okay.... Mind you, I only went maybe 4 times a year. She was kind. But, young... which did concern me. She was ok with color and bleaching type ombres- her cuts were fine but my hair is simple to cut so not much effort needed there. HOWEVER, I wanted a changed my root touch-up color just slightly last time in Aug 2016 and she ended up pulling it threw where I had my lovely bleached ombre on the bottom. I looked like a skunk! The color was SO DARK! So, I brought this to her attention, went in to meet her so that we could come up with a game plan to fix it. And, I was told I dont think I can do your hair anymore. What? And, she started crying! Arent I supposed to be the one crying, not her? Can she not take criticism??? Are we in Junior high school? lolololo I was expecting, sorry about that- lets fix it, right? NOPE! So, I went up to the front IRATE to either get my money back in FULL or, at least, a gown up professional to say what should have been said. This tiny lady came up to the front. Introduced herself as the manager while sizing me up. Ahhhhhhahahahah NO competition there! 5 foot nothing... even shook my hand with a challenge- HA- Soooo funny! No compassion- No professionalism! I got my money back... but, I was in shocked how okay they are to loose business. No ownership when making mistakes! BEWARE- if you like mediocre and like not being valued, its the place for you. Not for me.
