I went in today to buy moving supplies. Dallas was extremely polite he greeted me as soon as I came in. He answered all my questions and with no hesitation gathered all my boxes and took my boxes to my vehicle for me. I really appreciated this. Great customer service. Thank you!

Vehicle not clean. Pandemic climate and associates PPE/not wearing masks and cleaning equipment! Customer service below average. Reported issues to General Manager/Arica who was rude/unprofessional and nonchalant! Go to another location for cleanliness and professionalism!
We rented a U-haul trailer on February 27, 2021 and had a wonderful experience working with Arica and Jonathan. Receiving excellent customer service in the 21st century is a huge deal. I must say that Arica & Jonathan provided one of the best customer service experiences I have had. They provided timely professional service as their goal was to ensure we were able to handle our business at hand. Unknown to us, a fuse on our truck was out, but Arica and Jonathan worked well as a team to locate and fix the problem. We were grateful to God for their stellar work ethic.
I was helped by Arica and all I can say is Wow. This place helped me with everything. Every step was easy and she worked with me through all the paper work, the set up, and the return. This place is awesome. 10/10
Terrible service. The young lady was up there by herself helping 5 other guests. She had NO HELP not to mention she was dealing with rude guests at the same time. Went to turn my truck back in and the Internet was down so I couldn’t get my cash back. Called before I went to get my cash back and apparently they sent a check to my address without even informing me of that situation. Communication is terrible!!!!

My hitch installation was a breeze. Rich, the owner, was super involved along the way. He was very intentional and positive with each customer.
The manager was extremely rude. She continuously shook her head and laughed in my face. After paying for my truck and appliance dolly in the app, I found my truck and went to get the keys.After a short while, the manager stated she upgraded me for free to a 20 truck. I was moving a one bedroom but no problem. However I asked why and was told that my truck had been scheduled for someone else. Ok mistake no problem. Then I was told that she doesnt have the appliance dolly and ill be fine with a regular dolly. She refunded the 10$ charge but was very rude. Moving a fridge and a mounted was is hard without the proper equipment. As I was leaving I informed her that I was contacting customer service and she yelled for me to come back so she could give me all of my money and not give me the truck.I will never use this location again and am posting this to Facebook and Google.By the way, I am an executive chef that understands true customer service.
Came here to get a hitch installed on my car. Online it gave me a choice of time slot I had to choose for a specific appointment time (9:30 am) and also gave me an option to stay with my vehicle since it wouldnt take longer than a couple hours. When I arrived to the location for my specific appointment time at 9:30, the technician assured me it would be an hour and a half to a two hour wait while he installed my hitch for me. Im still sitting in the waiting area after being here for over three and a half hours (it is now 1:10pm) - went out to check and ask how much longer it was going to be and was told another 30 mins at least. So my hour and a half to two hour wait has gone to a FOUR hour wait and wasted a HUGE chunk of my only day off this week. I wouldve been fine if they told me up front that it was going to be a long while. I wouldve gotten a ride home, done all of the other chores I needed to get done and picked up my car FOUR hours later when it was ready but instead Ive been here in this very hot waiting area all morning. Now Im not even sure how reliably installed my hitch is since it seems it took so much work and time to get right. Just go get your hitch installed by your local mechanic that you trust instead or do it yourself - itll save you time and money.

I prefer to rent from the actual location instead of a preferred dealer. I have used this location several times and wither it’s a full move or just a van rental things alway go smoothly. Online reservations is easy and the staff is friendly.
Ive had them install two hitches with electrical for me now. I love that their hours are very available. They do quality work that they stand behind with their warranty. Joel and his staff are nice, and he knew to install the perfect riser without being told. He also worked me in early when the parts arrived. Lastly, he did it without even disconnecting my battery, thinking about keeping my settings.

Extremely aggravated with this rental location. My partner and I have rented multiple times with U Haul at different locations. This will be our first AND last time renting from this location and possibly from U Haul ever because of the headache this has caused.We were supposed to pickup the U Haul truck at 6:30pm. At that time, my partner was there and attempting to complete the pickup process via the live link. This rental had been reserved for about 1 week now. The link never worked. It turns out that this location, while offering pickup times outside of normal business hours, truly doesnt honor them. I dont know whether this was due to the workers neglect to put the keys in the box (which upon looking at other reviews, I wouldnt be surprised as this place seems to be ran very ineffectively and full of incompetent morons) or if this was due to the previous people renting not returning the rental on time. Either way, communication is clearly lacking and has caused US more time and more money.We will be asking for compensation due to the lack of communication on this U Hauls end. I will update this review accordingly, but dont hold your breath. Again, looking at other reviews I have very little hope for this.Bottom line: If you have time and money to burn, rent from this location.

Everything was okay but they charged us for gas even though we went out of our way to make sure the gas was filled to where it was before. These companies already basically run a monopoly and still take advantage of their customers and squeeze them for every cent. Anyways, make sure you take pictures before and after of gas gauge, also take pictures of any dings or scratches you notice before leaving the property.
Reserved a truck and trailer at this location weeks in advance. Was told upon arrival that my trailer was unavailable and that I would have to go downtown to another U-Haul location to pick it up. The guy behind the counter told me I would receive $50 for my reservation guarantee since they (U-Haul) messed up. The second location that was supposed to hook up my trailer had no idea why I was there and I was cussed out by the U-Haul rep. Ive called customer service multiple times and have not heard anything back from them. Plus, the guy behind the counter was obviously telling me a lie while discussing the $50 reservation guarantee. Will never be back.
I was there to refill my propane tank, was very patient while she helped the lady in front of me. They finished the transaction, she left the store 3 or 4 times to help the previous customer. She didnt even acknowledge the waiting customers with Ill be right with you or nothing. I waited 20 minutes then I just left. Get this she was the manager never again will visit this U-Haul location.
Did not offer a coverage explanation and than charged way more than originally estimated. Be aware.

If you rent from here, and the vehicle ends up being undrivable, you will not be compensated, and you will be lied to about being compensated later. The managers name is Joel, and and he was the one who lied.

I called to reserve a truck, telling the guy on the phone that i would be traveling to Morehead City and would return the truck the next day. He gave me a rate that seemed high but I had not rented a truck in a while. When i arrived to pick up the truck, the young guy behind the counter acted as though he could care less I had a reservation. When he located the reservation I told him I would be returning the truck the next day. He said well you automatically get two days, which didnt seem right to me. He finally got frustrated and walked off, tell ing another guy to finish it.. After I put the charge on my card, he tells me it is a one way contract. My wife amd i both told him we had said from the beginning we would return the truck the nextbday to them. He did not know how to refund the contract and said it would take 5 to 7 days for payment to come back on my card. I asked for the manager. The answer Hes gone! I asked for the managers cell number...he said Dont know it. Of course he didnt know any other stores numbers and was NO help. I found both the store manager and the president of the companys cell numbers on the glass by the door. These kids were arrogant, rude, and had no business running the store. I finally left the store with the truck and a one way contract. At this time I have not heard from the store manager or the the president. I guess the disrespect goes all the way to the top in this organization. From now on I will rent from anywhere other than uhaul and would encourage anyone who doesnt want to get screwed over to do the same!!
Short staffed. One person working in a busy store on a Saturday. Waited in line for at least 20 minutes. Reservation was done incorrectly and staff person was indifferent to any inconvience it caused. Parking lot was crowded with no where to park. Customer service & communication fall short of even todays standard.
Completely unsatisfied with my experience here. Ive used a uhaul place in Cary several times and never had a problem. Very poor communication at this location.

I would like to say I got an uhaul truck from you guys for the second time. Chuck your an amazing person. Your straight foward, but your quick and very professional at what you do. I will always use the newbern ave in raliegh all the time. Thanks Chuck! Me writing this review is well worth the time.
Bad experience, I would never rent from that location, customer Rep Walter Weeks Sr. was nasty, horrible service. He doesnt have people skills needs training on how to deal with people and how to treat them.

Trailer was dirty and covered with oil & grease. Staff didnt seem to care trailer was dirty.
