I cant even express the amount of thankfulness, appreciation and respect I have for this place, their Doctors, Staff and Volunteers. This is a top notch and can help you in so many ways. Ill never be able to repay my appreciation for all they do and have done for me. Their hearts are worn on their sleeves

The staff is very helpful. Provided youre approved for services, you get access to food. Always a pleasant experience. The people are very nice.The only downside is that youre only allowed to come once every 3 months. Dont understand the reasoning behind that.

Folks want to be here. They are very kind and extremly helpful. They provide assistance with alacrity and dignity.The only food pantry that I know of that gives food carriages to shop for what you want.Very organized and clean.

They give assistance with doctors, medicine and food. You can get food assistance once a month. The staff is very friendly and this place is helpful with other resources.

The services and people are amazing. They are a blessing. However, and although they are low cost/free services, I have heard multiple complaints from friends that are patients there about Michelles (works in the lab) atitute towards them. They say she has a generally bad attitude and is dismissive of their questions. Its not my intention to harm her with this post but it is something that needs attention because it is a service that is of substantial importance, and essential necessity and health patients have enough with their health problems. I posted because its not the first time I hear complaints about her from different family friends.

I go there for the food pantry and they are very good food The works are very polite and nice

Polite staff, clean areas and quick attention. The pantry is well stocked with a variety of food. The staff are volunteers but are extremely nice, polite and helpful. No judgements!! If you are in need they are there to help!They also have a medical facility to help those without insurance. They take good care of their patients and fill all prescription written there for free. There is paperwork for qualification purposes and a small fee for the medical services.Great place to help the low income and/or needy!!

I live in an RV full time and have a drivers licence with a Wake County. address and went to this place durring a time when I desperately needed help and these people were extremely resistant to giving me any help whatsoever. They wanted some sort of proof that Id been living in this county and beyond photos in my phone depicting the place my motor home is almost always parked I could offer none. It got to the point of (almost) having to beg them for assistance, at which point I very nearly walked out. My parting comment was to the effect that going there was a waste of my time and precious resources, and that my Bible says, Be good unto all men, especially those of faith. They did end up bestowing some food on me, but not without a lot of rigamarole. I dont usually complain about those whos help I ask for, and I dont know what others experience there, but I think its very unkind to make people grovel when theyre in need of help especially when the food has been donated by caring people and churches whos goal it is to make peoples suffering more bearable. They behave as though the food they dispense comes directly out of thier pockets ... personally. Would I go there again? Not on a bet! It is written, The Lord likes a cheerful giver. My experience there made me feel as though theyre anything but cheerful givers. It may be that they need our prayers.

Open Door provides excellent services. However, there have been several times when I left a message to set an appointment and never heard back. I have called this to the attention of the medical director and he was most helpful, but the problem persists.

Staff at the womens center was rude and ungrateful. I went to donate items a few minutes ago and needless to say, i will never waste my time or gas, trying to help this place. God bless the ladies rooming here, i pray that the staff arent as rude and treats you guys with respect and truly help. What i dont understand is how authority questions donations and make you feel as if your doing wrong, if your trying to help and empower other women?

If there were a zero star rating, I would give it to them. l applied to be readmitted as a patient in May and received a few voice messages about my application a few weeks afterward (not sure why because they had everything they needed according to the interviewer), in which I returned their calls and no one ever got back to me. It is now September, and I am being told that I have to fill out yet another application for an error on their part not mine and that my prescriptions cant be filled. Several times a staff member has told me one thing and then I was told something completely different by a different staff member. They say that they will pay your medical bills if they refer you to medical services outside the office, but they do NOT pay all bills. I submitted a $1200 bill twice for UM to pay back in February and received a notice from collections by the medical office in August because UM didnt pay like they said they would! Terrible place! Dont waste your time! Nobody knows what they are doing there!

I went here and have been going here but today they told me I could not get food because I was trying to use my prison ID wich was a state issued ID along with my dmv form and they denied me I said well what do u do if a homeless person comes in and is in need of help the head lady said Sr we do not help them if u are a ministry how can u turn down hungry people and homeless people I am disapodisappin them and cant believe I heard that so do u look down on the oneso who need it the most
