This location deserves negative stars. More than once,tracking numbers say packages are delivered when they are NOT. I call to try to get help and the person who answers the phone (after 100 rings) claims she personally followed up with the mail carrier and he says he delivered it! He may have, but not to me! I certainly wouldnt waste my time with this if I received the pkg. Since carrier claimed it was delivered, in their opinion the case was closed and I never received the pkg.
I’ve had 7 packages lost from this USPS. Multiple packages scanned as delivered but dropped off days later. When I call and can actually get through to someone (I firmly believe they don’t answer the phones here) I was told that was procedure to “clear out systems so drivers do not show was parcels pending at the end of the day” what sense does that make ? To mark an item as delivered (lying !) and have customers hunt alllll over trying to find said “delivered package” just to find out the driver didn’t feel like dropping it off on time ? I wish I could pick not to use this USPS—at all
I got a notification 2 1/2 weeks ago that my package had been delivered to me when I looked at the details it said it had been “delivered to address: PO Box”, that’s it, no actual PO Box number, address, nothing! I tried to call this location because they are the closest to me even though I didn’t actually know where it was at and every time I called it just rang and rang and rang until it disconnected. I waited a week thinking they were doing what they always do, say it’s been delivered even though it hasn’t, then it comes a week later, while simultaneously calling every other day (they never once picked up the phone in case you’re wondering). So after a week when it still hadn’t showed up I finally reported the issue to USPS via email. A week later I received a reply saying that my package had PROBABLE been dropped off at the Westgate office and that I should go there and look for it or call them (they never answer the phone either). That was a week and a half ago from today (I wasn’t able to make it sooner because we’re down one car right now). So I go to the Westgate office and they tell me their records show that it’s still out for delivery and currently at the Hilburn office. I race over to the Hilburn office and make it there three minutes before closing and guess what they’ve decided to close early!!!!!!!! So I immediately start to try to call them and you can guess how that ended, rang till it disconnected, like always! This isn’t my first issue with them. Why is there no one in charge over this place, they answer to no one and they’re allowed to get away with everything! Employees just do whatever whenever and to whoever they want and actually get paid for it! It’s so messed up!
I dont understand why this place has such bad reviews, I went there to pickup a package and they were really nice to me and gave excellent customer service. I think the key is for the customers to be nice to the workers here. This isnt a post office, its just a place to pickup packages when demand for delivery is too high. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Be kind and theyll be kind to you!
Why do they just say delivery attempted and then make you go pick up packages because they dont feel like delivering them? How has this location not been shut down? They literally dont feel like working so they make you drive over there and pick up packages. They lie and say you request pickups etc. Ive never seen anything like this before. Someone needs to investigate what is going on in this place. I live in a complex with parcel lockers and very easy delivery options and these people just straight up refuse to deliver stuff.
While I think they actually deserve 3 stars, theres so many 1 star reviews undeservedly that I want to help balance it out. This is an ANNEX location. It is NOT a retail location, and this is stated explicitly on their website and numerous signs all over the door and walls. With COVID, most housing complexes with shared mailbox areas have requested that all packages be held here, to reduce traffic in the leasing offices. If you have a problem with your package being held here, complain to your leasing office.however, the many times I have been here, I can say that they do seem relativey disordered in their package storage, leading to long wait times, and getting someone to answer the phone can definitely be a challenge. then again, customer service was not the main goal of this location, so maybe theyre truly just not set up for that
Im tired of USPS not being bothered to deliver a package so they lie and update the system to state that customer requested the package be held for pick-up. I did not make such a request.
I tried going 2 times to this location… the first time i went 35 minutes before they closed on google and they had the doors locked, gates closed and lights off!! the second time i walked in and they refused to take my pre-paid and labeled packages.. what usps store can refuse to take mail/packages?!!

Do not waste your time here. I’ve been here twice at opening because that is the only time I can pick up the packages that can’t deliver to my apartment. They always open at least fifteen minutes late and the customer service is awful. I was inquiring about a basic service many post offices offer and the woman at the counter was more than rude to me when I was the one left in the rain for forty minutes. Do yourself a favor and open up a P.O. Box at a location with a competent staff.

I appreciate the staff wants to help more than one customer at a time, however, the sign states one customer in the waiting room at a time. Is there an air filtration system in that tiny room? I will gladly wait outside for my mail, but please stop inviting other customers into my breathing space while I wait for my mail. And last week I waited 15 minutes for someone to answer the door.

A giant standalone USPS location that you cant drop mail off at? And yet there are tiny sub-locations inside gas station that you can? What??
Continuous bad services from this location and with the mail personal who services my area.I live an apartment complex and the mail service never drops off packages at the office or to the apartment door. I will get an email stating that a delivery was attempted or that I requested that the package be held for me. The mail personal does not leave any notices in my mail box to inform me that I have a package either.On several occasions, I have to call the Annex location to confirm if my package is there. This last time, I called on 1/4/2021 and I had been placed in hold for 1 hr.
I’ve been given the run around for three days about my packages. Said that a delivery was attempted both days which is a LIE because we waited in the store for THREE DAYS. I was then told that the packages were out for delivery and still didn’t receive them. Now they don’t even know where my packages are AND NO OTHER ATTEMPTS HAVE BEEN MADE! $750 WASTED!
I have had 2 experiences at this location. The first, not great; the second one- was AWESOME! Leslie was amazing. She listened to the situation and jumped into action by taking it upon herself to see through to the resolution. Just great, she has a great attitude and shes smart. Well done Leslie! you have restored my faith.

In the current political environment where POTUS is threatening to get rid of the USPS one would think that all postal workers would do everything they could to preserve their jobs. This post office location needs to be shut down. They dont do any work. My letter went from down the street and to this location, and literally has been sitting there. They dont respond to emails from the head post office in Greensboro NC. My letter was time sensitive and no one can get in contact with them to track the mail.
USPS tracking showed that my package was held at this location but when I went up there I was told my package wasn’t there. Lies
I am so disappointed, i feel like their being lazy now with all this going on, My package says held at post office per customer request, never made a request for me to pick it up, for the past months my packages were always in my door step or at least the apartment office. I dont understand and then when i go to the post office guess what its not THERE like really. Update a little better. Top of that they said it wont be there till after 5pm like are you kidding me, you guys didnt even bother ringing the door bell or even knocking at all. I have been home all day and didnt hear nothing of a attempt like seriously. I have never had issues ordering and it coming to my door. Deep in the bowels of hell there is a post office lobby. Inside that lobby there is a door. And outside that door, there is a bell that you can ring if you need assistance. You can keep ringing the bell as much as you want, but no one ever comes to open the door, because you are in hell. Good luck to you on your journey through the underworld. Next time don’t use the postal service.
Continuously late and never answer the phone. When you go to the facility, they will lie to your face just to see you head out the door. No point in wasting gas, to avoid this I recommend not using their services at all.

I had read reviews regarding how unpleasant this place was. That didn’t phase me since i was new to the area so i gave them a try and had one of my packages held there for pick up since i wasn’t going to be home for a few days. The status said, “ held at office.” So i headed to this location in hopes to pick up. Long story short they didn’t want to help me because they were to busy. They did take my tracking number and said it was there but just couldn’t find it so they told me they would hold it here for me when they did. That didnt happen and they sent it back to the original address instead. All this was about 3 years ago and I’ve avoided this place since. Last week while on the phone, i agreed to have my package held at this location. After all this time i assumed they’re values changed so i gave them another try. The tracking said it was being held so i get there at 4:30 and provide my tracking number. A guy named Michael said, “ It was too late in the day and that they had ten-thousand packages to look through.” So i asked, “can i come by the next day?” Michael said, “we would tell you the same thing.” At this point i wasn’t angry anymore. I simply don’t expect much from these people anymore.
I would give them no stars if I could. Every week I have missing mail and no one there helps or ever calls back except for once when my mail was missing for over 2 months. I live in an apartment so I understand that it may be difficult to put everyones mail in all the little boxes but give me a break! Its literally EVERY week something is missing and its effecting my business. If you cant trust the post office then who can you trust.....
This post office consistently scans packages as delivered to meet shipping times but then doesn’t deliver them for 1-4 days. Their phone line has a busy signal during their business hours so you cannot reach them in any convenient way.

I called this location to check on a package that said issue with delivery. When I called, the woman who answered was not helpful at all and completely rude. When I was in the middle of talking, she interrupted me and said hold on, hold on, hold on, my mail carrier is here. She then put me on hold for a good five minutes. When I started giving her more information, she began to tell me that I was a liar and was giving her false information. I also heard the carrier in the background saying mean things and also calling me a liar. When I asked for both of their names, she said no, thank you. Im done. and hung up the phone. I do believe her name was Renee because she did say a name in the beginning of the phone call. Things really need to change at this location. I still have no information on where my package is.
Horrible service. They marked 3 of my packages as delivered 1 came a day late and the other 2 are still missing. The location called me after I opened up a case, said they would get back to me and hasnt. Why are you marking packages delivered and you never deliver them?! And they wonder why people get so upset. They dont want to even try to help you. Mail carriers from this location are super rude. They blame delayed service on new carriers. Thats not an excuse. Actually find peoples packages or at least make an effort. Useless...
Just got back from here after being sent to another post office saying my package was in another location, come to find out these people were holding it without an attempt to deliver my package. After returning, Im greeted by the same clerk, reasonably frustrated, I tell him that my package was here the whole time and then was faced with hostility from this male employee being overly aggressive, telling me to chill, and an overall nuisance because he never read that my package was here. So, this employee can learn to avoid criticism in the future by first initially deliver my package and if not then at least read the slip that you all left with me and stop avoiding doing your job. Ill say that the other ladies dealing with the situation were understanding and helpful (even help me load the package in my car) but for this one guy I hope he has no future with the company or any like it, truly dealt with me like nothing but a school yard punk and a loser.
Recently i have had 2 separate packages that originally shipped via FEDEX get handed off to the Post Office for delivery (not sure why). However, I have YET to see the packages and the tracking info shows it was delivered. I was home during each of the time stamps on the website, but NO ONE ever knocked on my door.
Went to pick up a package here that I needed before the time it was going to be delivered, same day I just needed it a few hours earlier than when the mail truck gets to my house, I called and it was there and I went to pick it up, the door bell was broken and the sign said knock so I knocked, waited about 2 minutes and no one came to the door so I knocked again. Same thing another 3-4 minutes go by and no one shows up, I knock again as another lady comes into the lobby and again I wait about 2 more minutes until finally a lady comes and asks me what I want, I explained to her I was picking up a package and gave her the address it was supposed to be going to, she then gave me an attitude and says that my package is probably not there anymore, i explained to her I had just called and was told my package would be set aside for pickup, she says she’ll see what she can do, comes back a few minutes later with my package and just hands it to me without saying anything, i said thank you and got no response. This place needs new staff badly, many other reviews talk about the bad customer service at this location, fix it, y’all are paid with my tax dollars and it’s sad to see that Im paying to revive an attitude when I need help.
Our entire neighborhood has been receiving other peoples mail this week. Calling here makes no difference. It would be better of the mail carrier just left a box at the end of the street and well all go get our own. Calling here makes no difference.
“Package delivered at front door” yeah who’s front door, because it wasn’t mine! Packaged handed off from UPS with a promise delivery on Sunday. Marked my packaged delivered and yet it’s Monday and still no package.It’s been a rat race all day trying to locate where they “delivered” my packages. If it is still sitting in the warehouse then don’t mark it as “delivered”. If they indeed misdelivered it, then make good and find where it was delivered.I cannot wait to move so I don’t deal with the terrible work ethics of this place anymore.My mail lady is awesome, she’s always on point so this review has nothing to do with her, but rather the way they run this location. It was a Sunday and I knew it wouldn’t be her making the final delivery, and guess what? Package lost...So frustrated!
We haven’t received mail for the last 3 out of 4 days. For the prior four weeks, we received mail 4-5 out of 6 days. This is happening to all of our neighbors as well. They blame our new mail carrier, but it’s been a month. I have missing checks. Neighbors have missing packages. This is unacceptable. 1 day of mail out of 4!!!!! Unbelievable.
I hate to even rate this sorry facility. I have had 5 packages that have been misplaced and then suddenly appear after weeks. Had my college books sent recently and guess what?!!! I checked the tracking history and they said that they were delivered!!! I have not received one book yet! I am so pissed. I will definitely be reporting them.
Terrible, terrible customer service. We were told 3 different things in a matter of 30 minutes and felt like we were being rushed because it was almost time for the place to close. Tracking says undeliverable because of address but when I called USPS customer service, they had the correct address. Highly disappointed and honestly feel like something was stolen from me. Will definitely be filing a claim because thank God there was insurance on the package and hopefully an official complaint about this facility for the blatant lies and terrible customer service.
I went out of town for 3 months and was having my mail forwarded. It has been over 3 months now since I have returned and they still have not delivered my mail! I have called/gone to the office multiple times and they said there is no reason I shouldnt be getting my mail. Last time I asked the lady to write down my number and give me a call after she had a chance to research more. She wrote down my number on her hand and never gave me a call.
This is a mail distribution center, not a post office where you can send mail. Folks here work very hard to get us our mail and are rarely thanked for doing so. It does take a few minutes to get service when you have to pick up your mail but keep in mind their main role is to sort and deliver the mail.
Said they tried to deliver it but it was undeliverable. UPS never seems to have this problem. I understand that this is a constant problem with this annex. I have been having things delivered here almost two years and UPS has never had a problem. And neither had the P.O. until this package.
My package was delivered to the wrong address. I had to call on 3 separate occasions to get a straight answer. This 5 star rating is for Tracy who went out of her way to help me. Seriously if you are having problems call and ask for her, seems shes the only one doing the customers right

We had the same postman delivering to our business for 10 years, and he was amazing. Then suddenly a bunch of random people in plain clothes instead of uniforms are showing up. They come when they feel like it; gone are the days when the mail came at the same time, every day, Monday through Friday.We were told the routes had been reassigned. We have yet to see the same person twice. Best of all? The new idiots LIE to avoid doing their job of delivering mail and packages. Today I get an email from a vendor saying they had attempted delivery to our business (an auto shop that has a front door for customers that remains unlocked from 8am to 5pm) at 4:20pm, but that no one was here and they didnt want to leave the package unattended. I bet they would have hustled to deliver my parcel if their vehicle part was inside.THIS IS WHY YOURE OPERATING IN THE RED FOR THE PAST ELEVEN YEARS.
If I could give this review 0 or negative stars I would. My mail constantly gets delivered to the wrong address and the post office does nothing to correct this behavior. If I have the chance to ship UPS or FEDEX I do.
The Hilburn Annex USPS has now decided they will deliver mail to our office park at their convenience. Some days we get mail, MANY days we dont. It is very difficult to run a business that relies on the USPS to delivered hundreds of checks to our office when they dont actually deliver your mail. This has cost my company a lot of money and have lost employees because they werent getting their checks in a timely manner. Ive tried to be patient, now I will be visiting Raleighs Post Master to discuss the every increasing issues at the Hilburn Annex USPS!!! No company should ever lose employees and/or customers because of the post office.To update my review from yesterday, I did not receive mail again today. THIS IS NOW 5 DAYS IN A ROW I HAVE NOT HAD MAIL DELIVERED TO MY OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ive asked them time and time again not to stuff the mailbox so full that we cant get the mail out of it and they never even paused. Ive asked them not to damage packages by stuffing them in the mail box and they continue to do that as well. The latest thing going on is that Ive scheduled pickups and no one bothers to show up to pick up packages.This is really a terrible post office.Just finally got someone to answer the phone after multiple attempts with no answer. Gentleman told me that you can file for a scheduled pickup on the website and get a confirmation, but its very likely that it will not be passed out to your carrier and the pick up will likely not happen.Be Warned: Carriers from the Hillburn station will not honor scheduled pickups.
Yes this is not a post office. Its a hub that sorts and runs drivers out, however YOU ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR SOME SEMBLANCE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. We havent been picked up regularly the last week so I try to call this hub, as Ive done in the past, 2 times rang until disconnected, 2 times someone picked up and hung up the phone. 5th time picked up and sent me to the hold music. Why?
I have been trying to get a mailbox key for two months. They either dont answer the phone or when I come in person they say they messed up and will put another order in and call me when it comes in. The result is me calling back or coming in a few days later with the same result.
By far the worst experience I have ever went through. Called daily for 6 days with no call back or answer. Customer service is lacking in all areas, told me my package was sent back to sender then after I explained the tracking online showed In Transit they retracted. I was told my carrier accidentally placed a vacant slip in my mailbox and returned the package back to the post office. Waited for over an hour in the small room with no AC just to be told they needed to check in carriers that were coming back and would look more later. Supervisor, Barbara, took my number and promised to call me at 9am today. It is now 10:44am with no word, and I am on hold, again.
This PO is the worst. Not sure why they have a telephone number posted, no one ever answers the phone. Cant even get help from the Postmaster General on this place. We are a business and we consistently get mail for other suites in our building, or they just do not show up before 5pm. After 5, they cant get into the building without a badge, which I think they have lost. Nice to see our tax dollars hard at work. Rarely do we have the same carrier two days in a row, and half of them dont wear uniforms, so you have no idea who is ringing your bell. Terrible customer service.
I called to find out my mail box number because I just recently moved, and I spoke to a supervisor by the name of Renee. She very rudely said why didnt I just ask my landlord and figure it out. I told her that the landlord didnt know the exact number and asked me to call the post master. My daughter had just bumped into the wall during my phone call and began to cry, Renee then asked me to shut my children up bc she couldnt hear me. At this point i was irrate and asked to speak to a supervisor, she made me aware that she didnt have one and hung up iny face. The worst customer service I have ever recieved in my life. Renee is a very nasty woman and definitely needs some customer service training.

The worst USPS workers Ive ever seen. Mail is constantly delivered late, to the wrong mail box, or just not at all. The icing on the cake is our worker is so lazy he has failed to deliver 2 days in a row on priority urgent packages because of a slight sprinkling of snow! This is in an apartment complex so he is failing to deliver on many peoples packages when the mail is fully capable and running today!! This mail worker is constantly a dissapointment and messing up delivery.
Worst Service Ever! I went today, Dec 7, 2017, to pick up three packages that tracking shows have been there since Dec 4. They have not been delivered, theyre just sitting there somewhere. Sign on door says open M-F 8A-5P. Ring bell for service. They just IGNORE you. Never even come to the door. I went to #1 Floretta Pl. They told me my 3 packages were at the Hilburn Drive location - AND they would get delivered whenever they got around to it. USPS SUCKS! WRAL-TV 5 did a segment on tonights news about the horrible mail service people are receiving all over the county.
Tracey went out her way to make sure I was getting my mail and was extremely helpful. I assume most of the negative reviews are due to confusion of pickup location.
This usps is a great example of why the usps is hemorrhaging money They will go out of their way to prove you are wrong instead of trying to help you.edit* Our postman searched until the found the lost package, and I appreciate that greatly. The Hillburn site however in person did nothing progressive to find a solution and accused us of lying about the package. *how dare we* Over the phone, we received a polite response a week after calling multiple times. Its quite impossible to get through to anyone at any time in the day and I do not think the voicemail is ever checked. I think the response came after an official usps claim was filed (5 days after).
Ive had many packages delivered to this location to then be delivered to my home address. The carrier will not deliver them, will not put them on the truck, doesnt even leave a sorry we missed you slip so you can schedule a pick up.

They put me on hold for 34 minutes...and then I hung up. I called back and someone answered me right away. I made sure to let her know how long I was waiting and demanded to speak to someone about my missing passport. At the end of everything, they didnt have it. SO ANGRY.
Unbelievable. I have called many times since this office opened at 9 AM (its 12 PM now) and no one answers. USPS tracking says my package was delivered yesterday, but it was not.
Never answer the phone. Never return calls (if you actually ever (never) speak to someone). Leave mailbox door OPEN at apartmenr complex. Fails to deliver packages that say delivered on tracking number (maybe they stole it...). Will put a BLOCKER in your mailbox (a piece of cardboard) so that mail cant be delivered (even though youve lived at the same address for over 4 years, havent moved, never filled out a change of address form, and call to complain and leave notes in your box to tell them you still live there). Will mark mail undeliverable and return to sender (even though you still live at the same place). Have an attitude and speak horribly to you. Make you consider moving to another zip code so you wont have to deal with THIS HORRIBLE disgrace of a post office. (Theyll probably block my mail again, now that ive rated them). Even other post offices complain about them.
This place has lost at least 4 packages of mine. sometimes they deliver to the wrong mailbox (in apartment complex). if you call them to find out where your packages are, forget it. Im not ordering any more packages that are delivered by the USPS. they SUCK
My mail carrier was a total b..... to me. Went out of town for 2 weeks and she returned my mail because my tiny mail box was full. I told her to keep the junk mail out of my mailbox and it would not get full. I rate her a zero for customer service and her nasty behavior.
Unable to deliver mail properly!! I had proof package was delivered, but to the wrong address!! Unable to trace to where it was actually delivered!!Totally incompetent!!! I continue to get mail from my various neighbors!!!Called back and the employee could not even tell me how to file a claim!!!

I have the WORST experience with mail delivery from USPS. I almost never receive my packages and this latest time the tracking shows delivered but was NEVER delivered. So frustrated.
They are lost... The package I sent out on Nov 28th supposed to be delivered last Fri Dec 1st, now about a week later Thursday Dec 7th package still not delivered, tracking is not updated and I called directly to the facility, voice mail is full. What a joke... Seriously!

So disappointed about the customer services here. Tried to contact many time just for the key lock change. They dont even contact me when the key ready for pick up. I have to call them several time to check.
