The selection that they had was great. The service was beyond amazing! Marty came out and brought all the samples for a stair runner. He was so patient as me and the husband decided between which pattern and color we would go with. Marty was even great enough to drive back out to the house when we decided to change up how we wanted the runner to go on the stairs. Fast forward to the install and we were both stunned with how professional and how quick the runner was put down. It looks great and even better, neither of us nor our dog, slips on the steps anymore.I truthfully cannot say enough good things about this experience from start to finish.

Floor Coverings International Raleigh had a event at a Home Show at the State Fair Grounds recently and we enjoyed the crew at their display that we scheduled and appointment that moment with them. Dan the owner came out and was wonderful and Extremely Knowledgeable about the flooring industry and he is a great teacher too. I am an engineer I had a lot of questions which he answered VERY TRUTHFULLY, which I respected that about him. After reviewing 2 other flooring companies, we chose Floor Coverings International Raleigh because of Dan and his way of assuring us this job would be done the way we wanted. He Delivered that too. The Triple Js came out as I call them (JV, Jesse and Jonathan) and they were just like Dan. Very Experienced and professional and polite and considerate. As we watched them work very diligently they kept us up to date on the progress and answered all of questions with care and considerations. I got carpet, cork flooring, and tile installed in my house. Dan listened well to what I wanted and made good suggestions on products. When it was discovered that the old flooring had been glued down he came up with a plan that did not add to the cost of the flooring. He went above and beyond to address other issues that arose with a door clearance problem. He did quality work and I am glad I chose him for this project.

Tammy was professional, personable, and prompt! She put the extra effort the other companies did not offer while still maintaining a personal touch, plus she beat the price of the other 5 quotes we had already gotten! She came by on a time that worked best for us, took her time to explain all of our options after listening to what we were looking for. We decided to do the demo portion ourselves and them to put in the new material. During the demo process, she offered to come by and see how it was going and provide options to ensure the install date would not be pushed back at all. The day of install, even though the gentlemen that came to install the new material showed up on time, she was there with them to make sure they knew exactly what we wanted and to make sure I was comfortable with them before she left. The install was done in a professional and timely manner with no mess left behind.I would definitely hire Tammy again and will be recommending to all my neighbors, friends, and family!

I worked with the owner, Mike, directly and he was wonderful!! So responsive and helpful with everything I needed. I just purchased a home so this was one of my first big purchases and I definitely didnt know what I was doing. He explained things really well, answered any questions I had and brought samples to me. It was a really quick process and once completed, it was done extremely well. I could have picked carpet somewhere less expensive but I decided to go with him because 1) he was referred by my wonderful realtor, Todd Hofer. 2) I work in sales and know that sometimes to get quality products and labor you have to spend a little more, I felt confident that my investment with Mike would go further than if I went to Home Depot or Lowes. 3) Mike was a pleasure to work with and normally doesnt do house calls but he took the time to come out and work with me directly. 4) I could tell the quality of work that was done once I saw the carpet and was extremely happy. Weve been in our new house with our new carpet from Tammy for over a month now, and we still cant get over how great it looks and feels! Tammy and her team were incredibly helpful during the planning and installation. She met me at the new house before we even moved in to measure, and then took the samples to back to our place to match colors to our furniture. Plus, the installation itself took less than 6 hours (upstairs and stairs)!

They completed the job (changing carpet to hardwood in master bedroom and closet) in one day, which included installing new plywood under the pre-finished hardwood. Tammy and FCI put down hardwood floor in my Moms bedroom. The rest of the house already had hardwood flooring. When the floors were delivered, my Mom was concerned they werent gong to match.
