I had an appeal made since October and every 3 months I keep sending more and more appeals even to this day…. I want to go into the office in person and pester them to do something but no one knows if their open there isn’t anything on their site saying their not open due to covid if someone even a regular citizen can tell me right now if their open or not if no one replies to me I’m going to Raleigh next week if I don’t hear back for when my appeal hearing is

Phone is impossible to reach them via phone, they will just pick up and find a reason to hang up on you. The online chat pretty much says they cant help and then just leaves the chat. You will be waiting for days to even hear from them. The only way to get a call back is to fill a form out in the lobby of this building and it will still take multiple days to get back to you. Even then you get someone without a pulse that is angry you are even trying to do anything.

The Wait Time and call back time Is Terrible!! Sometimes you Cant Reach Unemployment At All. When someone finally answer or call you back, sometimes you get disconnected on their end. Forget calling back cause your wait time will be 2 hours or more!!

Hi, Im Cliffton Thyarion. I am a US veteran. I recently move from Pittsburgh to NC with my ex who broke up with me. I am currently homeless I left my job in Pittsburgh due to working conditions. I filed for unemployment in February and havent seen a cent for months nor a decision. I have been actively seeking employment. I just got a job offer and was accepted. I scrounged up what I could to pay bills and child support so my autistic daughter up north could thrive. I talked to a mean lady today who told me because I wasnt able to access the online portal and didnt call to certify I would lose all that time and remain homeless for another month. Its another month of living out of my car. Another month going to gyms to take a shower. The money I couldve gotten if they took time to help this sorry veteran wouldve helped me get an apartment and on my feet. However she said it wouldve risked her job to help me and that was a risk she wasnt going to take. I risked my life when I deployed and she couldnt risk her job or keep a conversation with me and just hung up on me. To say the least Im disappointed in what Ive done for a country that isnt able to keep me afloat. This is sad times Im sorry folks...

Ridiculous! Website is broken and you spend hours on hold only for the call to end. Site and phone service all need to be revamped.

Was a very quick trip ...any business you handling is to be written down and they contact you within 3 business days...No wait at all...Best time to visit is early afternoon

What’s up with my unemployment. I been waiting since 11/01/20. Everytime I call it’s a different story all the agents are on different pages.I can’t get no help.I went to the unemployment office filled out a form still haven’t heard anything. I need some money I’m broke my son virtual learning it’s stressful. I NEED HELP A.S.A.P. I’m going call everyday and I’m going to the unemployment office tomorrow to fill out another form. I know some people that have their money why I always having pending issues and take unemployment 4 months to make a decision. My grandma died last week from the COVID-19 I want my money forreal now this is not a game.

I waited 3 months for assistance, was denied, appealed, then after another 2 months, received my back pay. A week later, they decided they wanted all the $ back and send me a $350 bill every month for the next 2 years. All of my letters, fax, emails, everything is consistently ignored. We need a protest for THIS!!

This is the worst thing I have ever been in. They are employing random people to work from home with no clue as to how to help you. I have been out of work for 3 months now and it has been completely devastating. I have yet to receive any help with correcting the mistakes made on my claim so I can receive my benefits. This sucks. I am hurting and my state wont help. I dont know how I am to survive without an income.

No help at all. Called to check the status of my claim, it’s still showing pending. They are suppose to make a final decision after 10 business days if they don’t get a response from the employer, it’s been well over 30 days. I haven’t even received a freakin letter in the mail. Pray I can find work soon

Was informed by lady at the front desk (lobby) that they are switching to a new system and are no longer allowing one on one in person meetings/consultations. For those who have never been in this kind of situation, there is no clear direction as to what steps are necessary to receive the help that you may need.

Every time you call no answer. If you can finally get through to someone, they cannot help you. I just do not understand why employees are not trained to help you when you call. All they can do is read a file, which I can do that myself. I need someone to issue a payment and finalize my claim. Also the lack of professionalism and lack of empathy for unemployed individuals is disgusting.
