After getting poor results from another electrologist, I decided to switch to Latoya earlier this year, and have been going to her strictly for about 8 months in total.Shes very professional and really cares about the quality of service she provides to her clients, but the key component of her work is that she WILL get you the results youre seeking—specifically in terms of electrolysis.I love that she works with all skin types (which is really critical for us brown girls) and is always honest about what is necessary to achieve each goal. Ive also had the luxury of getting skincare treatments/recommendations from her and as always, her service and attention to detail is top notch.Id also add that the facility she works in is very clean, modern, and has a welcoming appeal.I could go on and on about how lovely Latoya and her overall establishment, New Dawn Skin Spa, is and would highly recommend if youre in the Triangle area!

I have been going to New Dawn for a couple months now for electrolysis. It’s my first time every doing this. I have to admit it’s pretty painful however so worth it. I’m absolutely loving my results. A real way to get rid of unwanted hair permanently!!! Latoya has been amazing. I am very thankful for her service, kindness, knowledge and professionalism. Although it can be pain Latoya will legit talk you through it and it helped me soooo much. Highly recommend. 100% worth it!

Im not gonna lie, electrolysis can be painful, sometimes but Latoya makes it a pleasant experience. She has excellent bedside manner. I really appreciated the free consultation. She explained the process and even did a few test hairs so I would know what I was getting into. She was very clear about how long the hair removal journey would take. I highly recommend the services Ive received (laser hair removal and electrolysis). The spa is clean and welcoming. I like that there is a variety of snacks and beverages in the waiting area. Definitely worth the cost and then some.

Latoya is changing my life! I was hesitant to start my electrolysis journey. I have PCOS and a full blown beard. Its embarrassing and has always taken a toll on my self-esteem. I gave her a try and we are about 8 treatments in. The hairs have reduced tremendously! Everytime I come, she does a fantastic job to get all the ugly long hairs. I feel so feminine and beautiful after every viste!

The facials at New Dawn are everything. My skin is always glowing and I feel so relaxed. It is a very clean and inviting space.

It’s been about a month or so since I was treated here and my skin is still damaged :(. After my treatment (electrolysis) I had cuts and scabs along my lip. They have since caused really bad scars, hyperpigmentation, and I have one really bad “indent” in my skin. I’m a woman of color, so when I scar it’s really bad. At this point it’s just going to take time for my skin to recover. I have since found someone new and will have to get treatments less often to allow my skin to heal properly.

We booked a consultation at New Dawn Skin Spa for electrolysis and initially we had the appointment on Friday at 7:30, but they called and cancelled last minute that morning. We should have taken that as a warning that this was not a business we should waste our time on, but we agreed to reschedule to Monday at 7:30. When we arrived at the place, the doors were locked and no one was there. We rang the doorbell multiple times and called them four or five times but it went to voicemail. Not only was this a clear lack of responsibility and lack of good customer relations, it was also a complete waste of time and we will not be looking to use the services of this establishment.
