First time at this shop and Iggy did a great job. Took my son to get his hairline fixed from other barbers, mybwife found Iggy on IG. He hooked me and my son up to the max.

Jay or Jerry takes care of me every time I go here, he remembers me and what I like and does a great job every time. I’d recommend him to anyone. Sorry. There may be talented barbers but I wouldn’t know. The salsa music was so loud I could t hear anyone. Nobody greeted us to check us in. I’m Dominican and I went with my son and was just embarrassed. He felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave. This is not a professional business. Unless you’re out to party for a haircut don’t go to this place.

On Sunday April 11, 2021 I went to the Dominican barber shop located on 3601 capital blvd. suite 113, Raleigh NC 27604. I asked for a simple under cut and have had it before. I also have a single loc that I have been growing for 3 plus years. I told him what I wanted and not to cut it off. It was hanging by a couple of strands of hair after he was done. I didn’t get no apology or anything and was devastated about it and still now. Hair is very important to me and this man took a piece of me away.

This place is always good...but please make an appointment before you go...because they have new barbers that will jump on your head....and you not knowing you are playing test dummy....he didnt do too bad but it wasnt like the others work....

Asked for a skin fade, wasn’t given a skin fade apart from that he completely left one side shorter than the other, if he would have left the top long it’s understandable but dude proceeded to cut the top too short as well. Was too busy talking and giggling with other barbers as well not what you would see at a typical barbershop

I took my wife to this barber shop and they did the best job on her hair. We used to only go to great clips but this will be our new go-to. The shop has an exciting energy. Make sure to bring cash because they do not have a card reader and the atm was broken when we visited. There is plenty of seating for visitors and it’s quick even as a walk-in. I love that you don’t have to make an appointment here.

My son went in with a head of beautiful curly hair and went to get just a trim and shape up and came out with almost no curls of how short they cut it and my son has senior pictures tomorrow and now no longer wants to go. If your barbers dont know how to trim hair they shouldnt be working there. Cutting 5/6 inches of hair is not a trim. Train your barbers so they dont mess up your business.

Nice barber shop. They charge around $20 for a hair cut but be sure to find out the rates before sitting down and having to pay after the cut! Better to bargain before hand :) because the guy who cuts your hair may not be well versed in English to be able to respond to your request/argument lol. Otherwise quality of hair cut was good

Ive been here a couple of times with my son and I loved his haircut each time. Had a different barber each time.

No place better in town, they make you feel like family. Cleanest cuts, good music a great atmosphere. To make it even better they have a Restaurant too. The food is amazing! Don’t waste your time looking for any where else this is the place!

Went there once or twice in the past. The service is semi decent at most. No respect for me as a customer. Even now while trying to book an appointment over the phone they hang up on you whenever they feel like it. Take it from me, the last thing you want from a barber shop is to let people who dont care about you to handle your hair. Period.

Had an appointment at 8:40am. I text the baber at 8:47am he told me he would be there by in 5 mins. I waited 10 mins and then left.Since I cant reply to the comment.The barbershop is 100% at fault for the customer experience. The babers represents the company. If thats the case you shouldnt be happy with the 5 stars review neither since most of them are for the babers.If you have a bad experience with an Uber driver, Uber is at fault also.If you have a bad experience with Andre from McDonalds u dont say I hate Andre, u say I hate McDonalds.I drive 20 mins wasting gas and time go there to have to wait. Thats the point of an appointment.

I came to this barbershop as a walk-in a couple of months ago and Cathy was the first barber to offer to help me. She keeps me coming back. Cathy does such a great job. I always leave satisfied with my cut. She takes the time to make sure she gets it right. She keeps a tight schedule, so I rarely have to wait when I have an appointment. All the barbers in this location are highly skilled. Great overall experience, I highly recommend this location.

Getting a haircut @Dominican Barbershop is a uniquely satisfying experience. Never boring, I enjoy the banter between barbers even though I don’t always know what they are saying - but they laugh a lot! Barbers here are seriously talented professionals. They seems to take pride in tailoring a cut to the individual.

I am new to the Raleigh area and I tried this place out. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could make reservations online!I had concerns due to COVID, but Truco made me feel at ease. He had personal protective equipment on and made sure to be safe during the whole process.My hair is difficult to cut, but he was able to give me exactly what I was looking for.It looks like I found my spot!

Lazy cut for too high of a price and never satisfied. Always takes a while so I think the outcome will be great but ends up looking ok. The most uneven my hair has been and I have one long piece sticking out of the side of my head.

Very very bad service. Why you guys tell clients to make appointments when you cannot honor it?huhI made an appointment for Saturday 23 Nov with Ignacio at 3:30 pm. I was at the salon before 3:30 pm was checked in and waited till 4 pm. Ignacio was least bothered to help me. He took another client before me who was a walk in. What a shame! There were other barbers too who were just busy playing pool table. This place service sucks and they dont value customers time. I drove for an hour and it was all in vain. Extremely disappointed.Editing my comments and rating. Was really happy to get a call back from the owner Joseph with his apology and explanation of the problem I faced. Really appreciate such a nice effort by the owner and his concern for his clients by going out of the way and trying his best to live up to the expectations. Joseph you are the man! Kudos :)

I just love 💗 Joseph! First, his work is shear perfection 🙌🏽. As a woman, I am reluctant to enter man’s world, referred to as a barbershop 🤣. However, the men have always been very respectful although there may be a moment of silence when I first walk in. Joseph has always trimmed my hair exactly as I ask never cutting it to low showing my scalp. The second reason I love Joseph is his smile and always delightful personality.

Truco is one of those people who are doing exactly what he’s supposed to be doing. The man just knows how to cut hair. He has a knack where others lack, and his cuts are always on point. I wouldn’t let anybody else cut my hair.

I explained to the person cutting my hair, I just wanted 1/2 an inch to an inch of the front, and to lose some volume on my hair and trim it down on sides/back, since i like to keep medium to long hair, instead basically got my head shaved, wouldnt come back.

Elmer my man is the GOAT. People there are like a family and are serious about improving their services through customer feedback. Of course, the haircuts are affordable and top notch!

I love this place especially Ignacio the barber. Gets the haircut right every time. I used to go to different places but no one could ever do a proper fade and a consistent hair cut because of my type of hair. After I met Ignacio at Dominican Barber Shop I have never gone to another barber. Even if he’s out of town I’d rather wait for him because he’s the best! Its a young guy with long hair. I like this barber shop, they had music on but it was on low and I really appreciated that because other barber shops have extremely loud music on. You ever want the best haircut and a barber to give you a crisp clean beard, go see Luis! Have seen about 4 other barber in this place! All are great at their jobs. But Luis is definitely the one I recommend! He pays super close attention to detail!
