I just tried to get my hair cut on my lunch break, I did everything I could think of to make it easy to satisfy my needs, I waited until the stylist I wanted was working, checked in online early (I checked in before I even left for my lunch break, as my office is pretty close) and even arrived before my recommended arrival time. I was greeted at the door pleasantly, gave them my name, told them who I was there for, and was told to take a seat, should just be a minute or two I was told. I was lied to. I then spent the next 45 minutes of my lunch break, patiently waiting for my turn. Finally, it got to the point where even if the stylist only needed 10 minutes to cut my hair, I would only JUST make it back to my work in time. I have never left a sport clips with hair longer than when I went in. That sport clips is on my way home, located in a very conveinent location. But they have lost a customer for life. If you are reading this and need your hair cut quickly or even at a reasonable speed, I highly encourage you to not patronize this business, instead wait for an afternoon you can really block off some time for, you know, like with the cable guy. Yeah we can squeeze you in sometime between 11am and 3pm. I cannot put into words how frustrated I am with this place of business. I feel ignored.

I recently stopped in for a high fade, and I believe Sydney was the name of the girl who did the fantastic cut, in which I am writing about! I just wanted to let everyone know that if you are looking for an amazing haircut, at a very reasonable price, you should definitely stop in and request Sydney! She did an outstanding job, and went well above and beyond, anything in which I was expecting. I will definitely be returning! Thank you, Sports Clips of North Hills; & thank you Sydney, for doing such a phenomenal job, I can tell she actually enjoys doing what she does!

Joining the wait-list is so easy online. Quick in and out for a trim (teen boy) followed by a burger and fries from next door. What more could you want?

So I made an appointment from the app. It said I had to wait 50 minutes. So I went to a neighboring fast food chain to eat was there maybe 30 minutes I look at my phone it says your stylist is ready. I I threw what was left of my lunch and proceeded to the store. I walk in I’m no longer on the list. A few minutes after standing there someone finished up with a customer and asked how they could help. I told her it said my stylist was ready but I was no longer on the list. She then proceeded to tell me they don’t control the system and I’d have to wait another 45 minutes. Long time customer I won’t be coming back.

Definitely worth a little wait. Brooke is amazing and gives you a very professional salon/barber experience. Ill be recommending this place to my friends and family.

I was blown away by the haircut I got here (my first since COVID hit). I believe my barber was Sydney and she gave me the best haircut I could have imagined, 0-guard fade. Usually, you get home and the next day the haircut isnt what it was when you left the barbershop. But the precision remained! Im so happy I found this place. I moved here just before COVID hit and I dont trust a lot of barbers with my hair. Great job! Ill keep coming back!

Terrible terrible haircut. They cut way too much off the back of my head, the fade is not even, and she didn’t even line me up. Ruined my hair for the next month or two until it grows back.. I can cut my own hair better.. do not get a haircut here.

My son and I always come here. Weve always had good haircuts and you cannot beat the MVP treatment. The MVP treatment is totally worth it and includes the hair wash scalp massage hot towel on the face and even a handheld massager used on the neck and shoulders.

I got Slater, she nailed the haircut. Friendly and made any changes I asked for. Will be back!

It took me 6 months of mistakes with multiple barbers and stylists till I discovered her. Needed an emergency cut and I havent look back since. So if youre in N Raleigh and North Hills I strongly recommend Syd and Sport Clips North Hills to take care of you.

Moving to a new area, one of the bigger challenges when settling in is finding a good hair stylist. After several months of trying out different places and stylists I found Sports Clips in North Hills as my go to place for great haircuts. Im not a sports guy nor do I normally go for the extra services they provide, however, I come here because Lucy and Mayra are phenomenal at what they do and give me the cut that I want. Theyre worth the wait, not that I have to because I check in online and arrive ten minutes prior to my appointment time. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience. Everyone professional and courteous. Received an excellent haircut from Atrial and a pleasant experience overall. They did an amazing job with Covid-19 precautions. No cross contamination of anything. Required to use hand sanitizer before entering salon area. Stylist applied towel and cape and whatever else necessary and client returned it to a safety bag to be properly cleaned you. Leaving. Really good job providing a safe environment. Well do e.

Ive been coming to this location for at least 8 years, and havent had any major issues, until most recently when I got a haircut by Lexie. I showed her the length of where I wanted my sideburns trimmed, so she used the trimmer correctly on one side, but used the shaver on the other side by shortening the length way above where I wanted (I have no sideburns now). I only noticed this when I got home and looked in the mirror, so I drove back and explained what happened to the first stylist who greeted me, and she corrected my hair this time. Lexie was there also, so she knew what occurred. After I was finished and walked to the register, Lexie walked right by me without any apology or acknowledgment. I originally requested to have the tip I left for Lexie refunded, but I was given a coupon for a free haircut next time.

Had a great experience by an excellent hair cut specialist Charlene (sorry I think it may have been spelled with an S). She was phenomenal and clearly an expert at doing what she does. I would highly recommend asking for her. Lexi also was incredibly helpful and deserves credit as well. Employees like those 2 make this place one of the best cut experiences Ive ever had. I took my 90 yr old dad in yesterday for the first time to have his beard trimmed and shaped. We were immediately greeted by Nadia who took great care of him! He has significant hearing loss, and Nadia was incredibly kind and patient. She spent a good amount of time getting him all shaped up, and he looked about 20 years younger by the time we left! She’s terrific and we will be back soon! Thanks!

Ive gotten my haircut here several times. It always ends up great. Today I got the MVP package and it was wonderful. Haircut, shampoo and conditioner, head-neck-shoulder massage, and styling for just $25. Cant beat it. My stylist Tiffany did a great job making me feel comfortable and communicating with me to identify what I wanted and suggestions she had in addition to those preferences.

I had a fantastic experience at Sport Clips. I thought more guys cut hair there, but no it was more of a variety. My hairstylist was really sweet, outgoing, and talked to me the whole time; which was a good thing. My layers really popped, after my hair cut. I said to cut 1 inch on the sides and top. So when she was cutting the sides it was normal and I didn’t worry. But when she went to the top she was cutting it like 3 inches and cut the right side of my hair inward and it was uneven. So now I have a bush on my head. And school starts soon so how am I gonna look like on the first day if school.

The Sport clips store owner is getting a little too aggressive with feedback requests. You have to add you phone # to check in, then you get a text the next day, thats too much. Use my email for goodness sake!

I come to this place for one person, Lucy. She is great and my 10 yrs old likes her a lot. Some other ladies on the other hand are not good at all. I just saw a lady who wanted to get her hair cut and instead of taking her, two of the hair dressers decided to take lunch at the same time, leaving Lucy taking clients by herself. Instead of 3 min wait time, my wait time went to 24 min. Poor customer service on their part. Lucy, on the other hand, and even thought she was already busy, was the one who apologized for something she did not even do. I will recommend management to train the employees on customer service.

The price was too high, considering that it didnt include any of the basic services, like washing or rinsing, that come with a haircut at most other places, for virtually the same price.Also, I wasnt given the option of having the stylist of my choice, and the stylist whom I was given was unfriendly and rushed through my haircut. It took about 8 minutes, and a lot of details were missed. At that price, I would have expected a stylist to take a little more time and pay more attention to detail.If I had wanted a mediocre, 8 minute haircut, no wash, and unfriendly service, I could have just went to Great Clips and gotten it for half the price.

The Staff was congenial and professional! I didnt feel rushed! Lucia took awesome care of my hair. When I realized my hair wasnt going to make me look like a picture I brought (the reality of not being a model is tough!) she helped my hair look great for me! Thanks!!

Brought in two kids for a haircut. Stylists did not even try to hide their lack of enthusiasm at having to cut children’s hair. The stylist who cut my 7yo’s was very rough and did a poor job with his hairline/widows peak. The stylist who cut my 2yo nephew’s hair did a decent job, but only trimmed around the ears and the neckline (which I was fine with because that’s all I felt he would sit still for). However, being charged $19.00 for that is exorbitant! I’ve been taking my son to Sports Clips for years, this was my first experience at this location and I’m not sure I’ll be returning.

I thought this place was professional but that is a complete lie. I went in for a nice haircut. What I got was a nightmare. We told them exactly what I wanted and they buzzed off almost all my hair. I went in looking like a professional and left looking like I came from Iraq. If I dont get this job there will be hell to pay. I wish I had never heard the name sports clips. I have never seen such incompetence. If you like your hair, never go here.

I came in and was behind two people in line. 10 minutes later another client came in. We waited another 20 minutes and he was called before me. When I went to the counter to inquire about it, I was told that my name was in the computer but I still had to wait. Ive been going to different sports clips around the area for the past 3 or 4 years but will no longer be coming back to this one.

Even though I am not at all a sports fan, the hair dressers at this salon do a quick and great job for men, in all styles!

Friendly clean and reasonably priced

Absolutely awful customer service. Went last week at 4:40 and was first in line as four haircutters were busy, one just taking the person in front of us. One stylist finished up in about 10 minutes, her customer paid, and instead of taking me she disappeared behind the scenes probably for her break. About 10 minutes after that a second stylist finished up but she too disappeared when she was done instead of taking me. Meanwhile I noticed that one haircutter was having a fantastic conversation with her customer but not really cutting his hair anymore; she was barely using her scissors to clip here and there but not really cutting any hair, but she and her customer were having a great time. All the while there were now four people in line behind me. After 35 minutes I walked out.If Im the owner of this place Im firing the manager. Awful customer service. Just awful.
