I took my 14 month old grandson for his first haircut, Mrs Anna did a magnificent job and was very patient with little man. This will be his barber until he grows to change it. I called the office several times confirming information on different occasions and I commend the phone etiquette of the staff, the men particularly were very professional. I highly recommend them. Thank you for a wonderful experience

I don’t normally leave reviews. And this review shouldn’t reflect on the entire barbershop. But my experience with Marvin was horrible. He had to be rudest barber I’ve ever met in my life. His energy & vibe was horrible! Do not sit with this angry person. Trust me!

5 Star has been my barbershop for going on 5 years. When I go, I usually check in with my guy Greg and he gets me right. Recently I checked in with James due to an overcrowded schedule for my usual barber and he did an exceptional job as well. Come here for your hair needs and you will leave feeling amazing.

Took my teenage son here today. Don Lewis was the Barber who cut my sons hair. He did an awesome job. We went to a few other shops, but no one would touch my sons hair his. I guess they didnt know what to do with his mixed gorgeous hair. Lol. Someone at another shop suggested Five Star Barbershop, so we headed there. My son has soft thick curls on the top, but needed a fade on the sides and back. Everyone at the shop was very nice, made you feel at home, held conversations with my son and I. I will be bringing him back here while I still live here. Thank you Mr. Lewis for a making my son happy with a great cut. I highly recommend this place.

Very clean and professional but wasnt feeling the hair cut, my mans cuts against the grain which I emphatically HATE. Was very serviceable and nice though so if you dont mind the fashion or have a preference thats as strong as mine then I may reccomend. But I wont be returning.

Haircut overall was ok, had to wait 45 min when 2 barbers in the shop were just sitting in the back. However, he completely messed up my beard and it was so bad I had to shave it off completely. Will not be going back.

Stopped in for a haircut, said good morning no acknowledgement from either barber. They were both cutting hair so I patiently waited. A father and his two sons came in and when the one barber was done one of the boys climbed into the chair. The barber didnt even look at me to say that I was next. Walked out to spend my $$ elsewhere. Very unprofessional.If they only take reservations on the weekends someone should have said said something and not let me sit there for 10 minutes.

My first experience at Five Star barber shop was amazing 🙌🏿because the shop was clean and trendy, the licensed barbers were friendly and funny with helpful information about life in general. Plus, my haircut was sharp with straight edges.

Looked the place up on Google. Opening time said 8am. Took an Uber there around 9am......its 9:36am, the doors are locked, and the lights are off. What a joke. Will never patronize this business.

I came in the barber all happy. When I came out I was freaking mad!!! The barber on the left side in the second chair messed up my hair by making the lines SO uneven!!! Do you know how to line up hair or are you going blind!!! Five Star Barber, more like POOP STAR BARBER!!! Never going to this barber again.

Horrible customer service. Me and my stepson walked in to get our hair cut and we sat for 20min and no one said anything to us. There were 2 barbers with empty chairs and still nothing. My stepson is Dominican and idk if they didnt know how to cut his hair or what but the could of said something. We ended up leaving and going to Chicago Style Cuts in Cary and they were amazing.

Marvin will charge your card more without telling you, and for a sub par haircut. If you have to go, park far away so losers wont hit your car door.

I took my son to Five Star Barber Shop today. The shop itself was clean and the atmosphere was great. There are some WONDERFUL barbers there(Craig and Marvin did great work), however, it was our first time there so my son just picked an open chair. The haircut was mediocre and I never say things like this without an explanation. My son has an afro. Barbering 101...you cant do a proper shape up on an afro if its only picked out one time. My son picked his hair out after we left and it was still uneven. The whole pat down the afro thing would have been fine had he said he only wanted a little off but neither of us said that. Then there was an issue with his hairline. I was told that it looked like that because his hairline is light. Its actually pretty full. I cut my sons hair for 13 yrs and I know his hairline. I was already tired so I didnt say anything because I didnt wanna come across the wrong way. Ive been to barber school and the haircut my son got was actually the cut thats required to pass the NC state board exam which is why I dont understand why it was executed so poorly. I believe my son said the barbers name was Jamison but hes in the chair between Craig and Marvin. Im not saying hes a bad barber because thats the only cut Ive seen but when people pay for a service they expect it to be done right. The edge up wasnt sharp and there was no line at all leading to the taper on the sides. I didnt see it even though he said it was there. Idk Maybe his trimmers werent set sharp enough to get a crisp line. This is constructive criticism and I hope its taken as such. Thats how we grow.

The cut was grate, he was very respectfully but His clippers kept biting me and they were in need of new guards and now I have a rash in back of my neck After 10 minutes of leaving the shop plus they charge me five dollars to use of razor 🪒 Every of the barbershop in the world does that after the haircut is complete over all like my cut I want come back Because of the rash

Their door and online says they open on Sundays at 10am. Its now 10:45 and no one is here. (Ive been here since 10:00) I came here because it was convient and I know they do a good job. Unfortunately theyre unprofessional when it comes to opening a store. Now I have to go out of town without a haircut.
