Had such a great experience at Raleigh Car Care this morning. They were quick at getting my oil change and safety inspection done. They even noticed that I needed new windshield wipers, which is something no one has noticed for me when I have gotten my car serviced before. As a young woman who always takes my car in by myself, I always fear that shops are going to nickel and dime me because I dont know anything about cars, but I never got that impression from Raleigh Car Care. And they explained everything to me about what they found regarding my car, in a way that I could understand and conceptualize. I have definitely found my go to place in Raleigh, and am going to have my family switch to this shop too!

I feel like it can be tough to find good work at a fair price when it comes to fixing cars and I was blown away when I got the quote for replacing my rotors and breaks. It was about $300 less than what the dealership quoted me! They got me in and out the same day I called, in about an hour and a half. Bruce is so hospitable and friendly. This is a smaller family friendly shop which deserves more applaud. These guys were quick and diligent. I was able to call, drop off my car, get a diagnostic and get repaired the same day which is highly impressive since theyre open 8-5. They broke down the details of the repair I needed and showed me what happened so I understood the repair and earned my business going forward.

My partner and I have been extremely happy with our experience here! They definitely go above and beyond for their clients and weve definitely felt this.Most recently, my car was having transmission issues and after they took a look at it, they asked me to call and make sure I didnt have a warranty. I was sure that it had expired after I went over 36k miles, but my transmission was covered up to 60k. They easily could have made those repairs and charged me for them, but they wanted to make sure I got the service I needed, even if it wasnt from them. I would recommend them over and over again, and give them more than 5 stars if I could!

DONT BRING YOUR CAR HERE !!! I initially came here because they had good reviews and 5 stars. My car was jerking, I went to advanced auto for diagnostic. Code showed it was an input turbine speed sensor problem. I bought the part, went to Raleigh Car Care who after looking at my car said that I WAS CORRECT AND THE SPEED SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. They charged me $101 for labor. I DROVE OFF FROM THEIR SHOP AND MY CAR STARTED JERKING 10 TIMES WORSE. The next day I got another diagnostic from advanced auto which indicated the output speed sensor also needed to be done so again I bought the part, went back to Raleigh Car Care, told them the diagnostic code per Advanced Auto and asked them to repair the problem. In all fairness they recommended that they run their own diagnostic which would be $45. I agreed to it even though I already did a diagnostic with Advanced for free and considering that I spent $101 the day prior I didnt have extra money to just throw away. They ran their diagnostic and came up with the exact same code as Advanced so they waived the $45 fee which was the right thing to do. The kicker was that THEY SAID THAT THEY COULD NOT FIX MY OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR BECAUSE IT WAS EMBEDDED TOO DEEP INTO MY TRANSMISSION AREA AND THEY WOULD NEED AT LEAST 3 HRS TO FIX IT. They told me to bring it to a transmission shop for them to fix it. The next day someone introduced me to a LOCAL MECHANIC WHO CHARGED ME JUST $30 AND HE FIXED THE PROBLEM IN UNDER 10 MINS!!!! WE DROVE AROUND AFTERWARDS FOR A TEST DRIVE AND THE JERKING ISSUE STOPPED. This is a caution to everyone, save your money, the unnecessary headache, and stress. DONT EVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE.
