Dan helped me find the tires at the best price! Even prevented me from having a flat on the side of the road by informing me that I had two nails in my tire!! So I was more than happy with the quality of service!

I just moved to the area. Have 3 cars in my family. Brought all 3 of them in for service to this location for tires and Oxygen sensors. Could not be happier on the way I was treated and the way they handled my vehicles. Dan and Nick were great Point Men on getting things done. Polite,very well informed, they know their trade as I come from an auto background.Felt like I was seeing 2 young men who took pride in their work and customer service. 9:26 PM : 09.26.2021UmmmmI just came from an oil change from them this afternoon at 2:30 PM. I went to work and got off at 11. I noticed my back light are still on and there’s no way for me to turn them off (the switches are off and ALL the doors are closed) . My car has never done this in the 6 years I’ve had it. And it most certainly wasn’t like that this morning. I didn’t notice until it got dark but when I got off it was too late to call so I’m writing this as a receipt . Soooo now my battery is going to die out and I’m going to need a jump in the morning and have to be at work by 8 AM . I cannot afford this

Dan and Fred were amazing. They took their time setting everything up from the purchase of all new tires through the wheel alignment. In the past Ive only trusted the dealership with my car. They have won that business. Will definitely be using them for my auto maintenance.

Extra fees, over an hour for a scheduled oil change, and they left some extra stains on my drivers seat... Lesson learned... Not again. If you follow my other reviews, youll see they are generally positive; not this one.

I went in with a flat tire that I tried to fix with fix-a-flat and failed. They fixed the issue and the low pressure indicator light went off in the car.I went to work the next day and on the way home my low pressure indicator light came back on!!!! I was freaking out and drove right back to the shop. They took care of the issue free of charge, and there has been no issues since. And I must say the issue that brought me back was not their fault. Thank you Mr Tire!!!!! I will definitely be back❤️

These guys completely lied about completing a tire rotation- the tires hadnt moved and they tried to charge us for it! I ended up paying, caught them in a lie, and got a full refund. Complete waste of time and effort.The guy ended up screaming and cussing at us in the parking lot even though HE was in the wrong...Very bizarre experience... you should be able to trust an auto place to:1. do the job2. not lie to customersRidiculous.

Im big on reviews, so when I was looking for a place to service my vehicle, Mr. Tire of Wake Forest stood out, so I gave it a shot. They live up to the hype, and heres why:- Theyre fast, but incredibly thorough and transparent. The people who work here take pride in their work.- Theyre pricing is competitive and most of the time one of the cheapest in the area.- But the biggest reason theyre worth checking out is their customer service. I didnt catch his name, but the manager on duty during my latest visit is a veteran. Hes achieved mastery when it comes to customer service. Hes patient, understanding, and stands by the shops work. Hes kind, and excellent at communicating transparently to the customer. Clearly, with leadership like that, the shop has developed a culture of excellence.I highly recommend Mr. Tire of Wake Forest if youre in the market. You wont be disappointed.

Ryan was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in getting my vehicle serviced and ready for a cross-country trip. He was friendly and communicative, as I left my car at the shop while the work was being done. He even went out of his way to check my spark plugs and informed me that they were ok for now but that I should expect to need to replace them in about 30,000 miles. Overall, it was a positive experience, which is far from a given at an auto repair shop.

Con artists. I went in for a simple vehicle inspection and needed to get a nail in my tire patched. Was told the vehicle was fine and would pass inspection. Then was told that the tire could not be patched, and we would need to get a new tire. Funny thing is, he wouldnt let me just get one new tire. He said I would need to buy 4 new tires, and refused to just put one new tire on. In fact, he said that he would fail my inspection if I didnt put 4 new tires on the vehicle. Oh, and that was after I had an 11am appointment and he sent his inspection guy to go pick up some tires and didnt even start looking at the car until 11:45. Be very careful before you go to this place. What a joke.UPDATE: Took the car to a Honda dealer and they patched the tire for $20. So Mr. Tire wanted to charge me $800+ for a $20 job. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE.

I’ve read the reviews and so I decided to give this place a try instead of my normal to go place which is Firestone across the way. In for inspection, wheel balancing, and alignment including getting my steering wheel dead center.Inspection and wheel balancing went fine, but the alignment continue to be unresolved. The car steering wheel still not dead center, and the car still pulls to the right.... I was originally told that it could be the road, but seriously? I bought a car over the weekend which had an issue of steering wheel not being dead center, told the dealership about it, they fixed it before delivery of the vehicle, so I’m not sure why Mr. Tire can’t fix an alignment on a tiny car. Yesterday (9/21) was the second time I’ve taken the car to have the alignment on my Mazda 2 resolved, but I drove away unsatisfied with the results but since I have to work can’t go back to wait another hour and half. I’ll be calling in again to give this place one more chance to fix this matter once and for all or I’d be taking it back to my normal place.Update: got a call from Tim and I ended up returning so he can diagnose my cars alignment issue. Took less than 5 minutes to find the root cause which was due to radial pull, the fix was a simple swap of the front tires. Glad it was resolved quickly. Because of this, Mr. Tire earned the two extra stars, wished the issue was resolved the second time I brought the car back.

Walk in at 3:50PM and asked for tire rotation and was told he had a couple things before me and wouldnt be able to do it because they close at 5pm then goes and turns off open sign. I drive through to see the bay area and not sure I believe they didnt have time.

Do not go there. First of all let me tell you that I used to get all my service done in this place. Last time I was there for oils change they pulled the air filter out to convince me to change it. This caused the passenger air bag light to come on and they wouldn’t take responsibility for it. The other time they lost the lock nut that I had for in the car to unscrew the tires and said I may have lost it some where else but they are the only people who work on this car. Honestly hiss I left service and when they cause more problems in the car they refuse to take responsibility. Why do they feel the need for pulling the air filter out during an oil change.

Make sure if you have a large vehicle that you tell them on the phone before wasting your time driving all the way there.

Do not go here they will take advantage of you! I came here on 5/24/21 because my car was making a clunking sound. They told me I needed new bushings,shocks, and struts and quoted me over 2 grand! I went to get a second opinion and it turns out they just didn’t fully secure the new sway bar that they had installed a few weeks earlier. Not honest people!

I needed new tires and I have been using this location for oil changes for years. They explained my options and got me into a set of tires that makes my car drive like its brand new.

Oil change was quick and efficient! Big shoutout to Ryan, he was a huge help pointing out important defects to be taken care of and making it a speedy process.

I trust George McGhee and his guys with all my cars. This shop is the only place in Raleigh that I trust with my heavily modified car. They are honest and trustworthy and do not try to up sell like other shops in the area.

This Mr Tire location is simply the best. The service that you receive is if the highest level respect they never try to nickel and dime you. They always give you options if price is a concern, always trying their best to accommodate schedules and willingness to take on emergencies. I super appreciate George over there and really the whole team! Wonderful! Ive been going to this location for 10 years, through the name changes but the work and commitment has always stayed the same.

I took my mothers Toyota here. Her A/C wasnt working correctly. I took it here. Due to I felt the last place I took it to didnt do the job right. They got the care in were quickly able to tell me what was wrong. They did great work and willing to break everything down on to what was wrong. I highly recommend this place.

I’ve gone to Mr. Tire a couple of times but my most recent visit was very disappointing. I needed an ignition coil replaced but had to still pay for a diagnostic fee which I agreed. After receiving a very high quote, my husband and I decided to just pay the diagnostic fee and go somewhere else. My husband attempted to pay with my car care credit card and was refused. He was told they do not accept that particular credit card. I spoke with the gentleman and assured him we have used the credit card there for previous services and he pretty much called me a liar. It wasn’t until my husband pulled out a receipt showing we indeed used our card there that the gentleman agreed to accept our card.

They did a very bad job. They changed the oil, let the lid loose, when I took the car back they just said the was some left on the bottom but that it was ok. Few days later, my car started having a noise. I checked it NO OIL AT ALL, piston broke becuase a bad service. They dont give an answer and dont take any responsibility.

Probably one of the most honest and kindest places to go to. Even during a time like COVID when they probably weren’t seeing many customers come out they helped me out for free and refused to take payment. If you are worried that some other car shops might be ripping you off, COME HERE.

Ordered a set of tires through Tire Rack and had them delivered to Mr. Tire for install. Originally set up an appointment online, but had to call and reschedule. They were very accommodating.Tire install and alignment took a little longer than anticipated, but one of the mechanics was trying to teach a new hire so that was understandable.Chris who worked the front desk was very cordial with me and other customers who called in or stopped by. I already have a good relationship with a mechanic, but if not I would definitely consider this shop again for other services.

My first experience at Mr. Tire was great. I walked in on a Sunday morning & was able to have my car serviced right away. They explained what issues my car had & corrected them very quickly. The lobby was clean & comfortable. The prices were fair & the staff was very personable. I would go back again.

My car was running fine. Part of its routine maintenance was to change the brake fluid. I took it to Mr. Tire, who said they worked on Lexuses. Mr. Tire had trouble. Somehow, they explained, the brake fluid reservoir sensor had been mis-handled while changing the brake fluid. They kept my car for hours and eventually suggested taking it to the Lexus dealer.When I got back into my car at Mr. Tire, you had to slam the brake pedal down hard to get the car to turnover; and the engine light and traction control “off” warning lights came on. Nevertheless, Tim, the service manager, told me my car was road worthy.I could not get an appointment at dealer until after weekend, so I drove the car for the next 3 days. The Lexus dealer found the O-ring to the brake master cylinder sitting at the bottom of the brake reservoir & that the brake reservoir assembly (including the sensor) had been damaged. Lexus told me that I was lucky that my brakes had worked for the last 3 days.Lexus repaired everything, so the car runs well (as it did before I ever took it to Mr. Tire). Mr. Tire took a smoothly running car and damaged it doing a routine maintenance job, and in the process, exposed me to danger.

Awesome customer service! I had a flat tire, I’m talking an all-the-way-flat tire... and they completely catered to me so I didn’t have to get a tow. They sent a technician to me, who pumped up my tire and followed me to their shop. They were super friendly and have definitely changed management! I will always go back to them!

Quick, and knowledgeable! Really appreciated the service 👍UPDATE: Ive used them a few times now, and I need to update my review. At first everything seemed fine with my tires and brakes, but after several appointments, there is some common issues Ive been having. One, every time they say theyre done with my car, I start driving it off the lot and have to immediately turn back around because Ill hear a loud noise or notice shaking. I take it back and they fix it again, and then everything seems fine. That is until I went to get my car serviced by another reputable place to handle a recall issue. I asked them to take a look at everything to be sure everything was fine. They come back with issues with my tires and brakes, not even two weeks after I got them serviced here. It makes sense because I was running into problems braking. Ill never go back.

Highly recommended. Fast and friendly and honest. At dealership this comprehensive maintenance would cost over $400. But here the bill was around $250 and they did more service than the dealership. For my wife and I this is our go to store.

Fantastic and trustworthy place. I took my car in today and a gentleman by the name of Melvin helped me tremendously. He got my battery connection fixed within a matter of minutes. Instead of telling me to buy a new battery off the bat, he told me to bring my car in a couple of days later so we could retest it and be sure to the condition of the battery after I’d had the opportunity to drive my car for a while. Will definitely be coming back, and thank you to Melvin and Mr Good Tire for the great service.

I went online to the website and printed out a coupon that offered a $15.99 oil change and tire rotation. I made an appointment and I showed them my coupon when I came in. I was told they will take care of things for me.30 minutes into my wait time Ron came out and told me that I needed a new filter for a $29.99 and he will not be changing my tires w/ the oil change. I said why not the other guy just told me that he would and thats the reason why I came here in the first place.He said we are no longer honoring that coupon, if you want your tires rotated that will be an additional $24.99 or if you buy this new filter for $29.99 I will go ahead and do your tire rotation.I definitely felt pressure to buy the filter because what I really wanted was my tires rotated and oil change. I feel as though if they was not going to honor the coupon then I should have been aware of that when I first checked in and not be given an ultimatum on which service I was going to get.

The staff is great! As a female who dislikes dealing with cars this location has very honest and helpful people working at it. They always have discounts available and let me know when they are able to apply them. They also are very good at telling me when I will need services on my car and suggesting prevenative maintenance. They do not sell me things I do not need, which has been my experience at many car places in the past! Went in today for a tire problem with my car and was out of there in 15 minutes. A month ago came in to replace my wife’s car tires and was done in less than an hour. My wife and I have been bringing our cars to Mr. Tire here for a little over 2 years now. We are always treated with the up most respect. The prices are very competitive and the service is even better.

Great quick service! First time having my car checked here and this is the first place that told me everything is good to go. They did not try to upsell me. HONEST place! They did a full check of my car which is included with every oil change. They then walked me through each point and gave me a list with each finding. I truly wish I could give 10 🌟on this review. I was having issues with my battery today and needed a new one. After making my purchase at Advanced Auto I was leaving to get it replaced. My car started acting up before leaving the store. The manager called Mr. Tire and explained what was going on. I was told that Jared was coming to check things out. I couldnt even drive the car anywhere. Jared tested my battery and sure enough it was officially dead. He replaced my battery in no time and got me on my way. I will not hesitate to take my car to Mr. Tire in the future. Jared was wonderful and went above and beyond to help me. I would recommend them to all of my friends and family.

Went for oil change and tire rotation with no issues and left with broken tire pressure sensor. They acknowledged by offering to fix for $150. Unbelievable. Also inquired about inspection and never offered to do it at the same time *no other cars there..

My wife had previously bought a set of four new Yokohama tornante tires. They wore quickly and we brought them into the shop. George, the new manager, was able to get us a decent deal but my wife was still not satisfied. Then George was able to work with corporate to get an additional $120 off the replacement set of tires. Ive been here a few times now.These are good, honest and decent guys that I trust.I do a lot of my own repairs and have used them to diagnose an issue so I can determine whether I will tackle the job myself.When I have had them perform the work their prices are reasonable and without nickel and dime add ons.This is my first go to place when I need work done.

Ryan is awesome, they have excellent service, and is very flexible. The tire protection is worth the price because it covers plugs and with all the road work going on. It pays for itself multiple times over.

My daughter had a flat and the spare was gone. I am leaving to go out of town and need to get it repaired. I called several other locations about a tire and no one had a tire or even wanted to look at it. I called Barry at Mr. Tire Wakefield. I asked if he had a tire in the size needed but he said he would have to order one. He asked if I could text him a picture of the tire, which I did. Barry asked if i could bring it up to him and he would see if he could patch it. I took it to them and he said about 30 minutes to see, I went to get lunch and when i returned, he met me with a smile. they were able to patch the tire and checked it again for leaks. They cared for the safety of my family and went above the call of duty to help us. i will return for my all my tire needs

RON is great! Ron has always been super helpful and friendly to my family as weve been customers for the past 13 years. He always keeps us informed and explains everything that has been going on with the cars.

I visited Mr. Tire a week ago and had a great experience with their customer service. They helped in choosing the right tire when I was looking for a particular Goodyear model. They performed the work in under an hour, and I am happy with the tires suggested for comfort, quiet, and rain traction.

I got a flat tire on the way to work. The guys at Mr. Tire Wakefield were outstanding! They explained what was going on and also provided solutions to the problem. They were very kind and courteous. They got me back on the road in no time! Awesome service!

I always take my 2004 Corvette Z06 in for oil changes and my 1989 Ranger in for anything I dont have the tools for. They all do an amazing job. They don’t ask any questions about a job, they just do it and get it done right no matter what. Never a bad experience and I will continue to use their services.

George was really friendly. He explained the problems with my car in a way that I could understand. He got me set up with the Mr. Tire drive card so that I didnt spend any money out of my pocket up front. My car is driving better than it has in months.

I’ve been to this shop twice and the services were excellent. The staff are friendly and they listen. I never had any issues with the services rendered. They don’t try to shove things down your throat like some other places around I’ve been to. I highly recommend this shop.

Dont hesitate to get your alignment done with Melvin. After being to many alignment shops, he personally made sure my car was aligned properly and that I was satisfied. Will bring all my cars here from now on!! Plus he does lowered cars as well!

They dont stay open until 7:00pm like their store says on the door. Talked to the manager George the next day and he seemed okay with that. He used an excuse of a power outage and acted like it was no big deal. As a business owner, that a huge deal!!! Thats just bad for business and would not recommend. So I went to Discount Tires and they were kind, helpful and had great customer service.

Normally I love to praise businesses...but today? If youre getting an oil change, do NOT head to Mr Tire in Wakefield. Oil pooled around oil cap, all over the engine...oily finger marks on the seat and steering wheel...! Seriously bad, careless job. The assistant manager? Gee, Im sorry for the service. I understand how you feel. I hope it wont keep you away from us. Period. Um, yes...it absolutely will! I would NEVER go back. NOTE: I do plan to call the manager when he returns (Monday?) and let him know what happened NOT IMPRESSED! Go anywhere but here. I specifically asked if they had a double check system to check on their service techs and he said No, we trust our techs to do their jobs. I think a review of that policy is in order.
