DO NOT waste your time here… this is the most unprofessional dealership I have dealt with. I found one of their cars online and set an appointment with Richard to buy it. I told him it was a 2 hour drive for me and he assured me that we would make a deal. After I arrived he told me the car had been sold the night before. I find it very disrespectful that I was not told this the night before. After talking to others in the area I found that this dealership had a reputation of doing this. If you value your time don’t go here.

AVOID AT ALL COSTSI never leave reviews but this level of incompetence has pushed me to. If I could leave a zero star I would. I called and ask if the car that I saw online was available and they said yes. I spoke with a “salesman” who sent me pictures of the car I wanted. I told him I was driving an hour to get there and I did not want my time or his time wasted, he reassure me everything was ok and it worth the drive. When I arrive the car was not there, it was sold a week ago. Multiple managers and salesman proceed to give me the runaround trying to explain why the car wasn’t there. The “salesman” sent pictures 30 minutes before arriving at the dealership of a car that didn’t exist and tried to gaslight me by saying I didn’t give the stock number. While on the phone with sales person I kept on asking for more detail about the vehicle he said “I had to see it in person”. The manager saw the pictures and asked how I got these pictures, we don’t have anything like this. This is the worst car buying experience I’ve had and deplorable customer service. To be fair I won’t share the sales person or manager name and text communication before I went to see the car. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Stay away

Had the best salesman! Martin made something that I usually dread (coming to any car dealership) so easy!! I know we drove him crazy but he was so patient and really took his time showing us every car we wanted and working with so many different numbers until we came up with something that worked for our family. Let me tell youuu, Motivational Martin has to be your go to guy at Square One Auto. Car dealerships are notorious for having sleazy salesman with prices that knock you over the head. Not once did I get that vibe from Martin or the dealership. I’m a busy man and appreciate a straight forward kind of guy. We ran numbers and I left feeling like not only did I gain a new friend, but also felt comfortable and confident with my purchase.Martin thank you so much again for my new family truck!

If I could give them no star, I probably would. Utter theives. We agreed on a price, and they assured that as the store dealership would be closing soon they would prepare all the paperwork and we come in the morning to sign. I told them to make sure everything is ready because I would be on my way to work. I went and waited two hours before getting the paperwork right when I was fustrated and leaving. They sneaked in $2800 more in my paperwork. By the time I realized and went to ask them about that additional charge, they said it was too late. Make sure you pay close attention, they cant be trusted. If you have to deal with Carlos...forget it. That guy has not even one understanding bone in his body. They are all thieves. No wish they would take back there car, a light came up on my way from the dealership!

Be careful. I called on Saturday and spoke with Felix who said car was available and no appointment needed. Just come by on Monday. I asked what fees on top of taxes they charged. He said $695 for title and docs. That’s it. I had him clarify just to be sure. Ok that’s great. I check website Monday morning and car is still there so I go. When I get there it’s gone. Ok next option is $4000 more but I’m still interested. I say before we waste both our times please confirm that the fees other than tax are only $695. He whips out a clipboard with fees around $4000. When I asked him to explain these and why he hadn’t told me on the phone he had no response. Anyway be careful as he blatantly lied to me!!

Be careful with these reviews. My wife bought a car from Square One back in September, and was pressured at the sales desk into leaving a good review before being given the keys to her new car.Square One also took forever to get her plates that were promised and they never reached out to her with any updates. We had to keep calling back to see if there were any updates, and each time we tried, we were met with the same attitude from the person answering the phone as if they couldn’t be bothered to help us after they already made the sale.Ever since leaving the lot, there’s a lot of moisture building up in the headlight and a reputable local mechanic noticed that the headlight housing itself had been cracked. She has gotten into no accidents or done anything that could cause the damage, and we were not told if this car had any accidents in its history. Now she needs to get the headlight replaced, which is not a super cheap fix.Again, be careful about believing all the high reviews, because at least some salespeople at this location indirectly try to pressure you into leaving a good review for them while before you even leave their desk. We would personally recommend looking elsewhere, but hey, at least they’re nice to you before you leave the lot with a car from them.

I bought my car from them last year, I was told by Paul to call him in 4 months and talk about refinancing. I did and he told me to wait for 6 months, itll look better with 6 on time payments. Its been over a year with on time payments. Ive been calling him and leaving him messages for the past month and he has yet to return my call. I understand being busy but you should take the time to call your customers back if theyve been leaving messages with your staff and on your voicemail. Its unprofessional and its really just rude.

I saw a car they had online at a decent price. Called and asked if the car was available. It was. I asked what fees they charged besides title and taxes. Melvin told me they only charged a 800 dollar document fee. I said ok Ill come look at the car the same day. I got to the dealer looked at the car and it was covered in scratches and scrapes. Took the car for a test drive had no issues. I asked the sales person if they were willing to go lower on price since the car was so scratched up. He said no. Got inside and asked for total price of car. Out of nowhere he pulled 2000 dollar dealer preparation fee on top of 800 dollar document fee. So basically lied to me on the phone to get me there and try to gouge me for 2k with a car covered in scratches and scrapes that they didnt depict online in the pictures. Not even a side note. This company lies to customers about fees and will lie about the quality of their products. Dont buy from people willing to lie to make a buck.

I want to start off by saying I love my car I mean who doesn’t love their first luxury car right? However the place not so much.. When you go in you always know the reps want to sell so of course they’ll be nice once you enter but once you leave purchasing from here you are on your own and if you don’t live in Jersey imagine that. Imagine calling the place 9 times about your SD card missing for your map and for months not getting a response not being able to really enjoy your cars features. All 9 times my name and number was taken down, 4 out of 9 times I was told I was going to get a call back. When did I actually get a call back? None. My salesman was Jeffrey who is now a manager and is the person I spoke to a ninth time he told me why my car hadn’t received it and I was understanding so he suggested pointing me somewhere I could get one promised he’d really call me back in 30 min after I told him about my mission to get any info at all up to that point. Did he really call? No. Did he at least call the next day? No. Oh yeah I also text him in between all this and no response. Where you purchase the vehicle matters so just make the right choice and learn from my experience. Just as much as they want your money and to sell the car for their commission they should have that same happy energy to help you with your vehicle after it is sold especially when you’ve only had the car for a few months. What pushed me to write this review is I have a friend who purchased a car around the same time and the treatment is so much more different... so that’s how I know I’m not overreacting. Choose wisely!

Big Thanks to Diego !! After two days @square1 of brainstorming, online researching and comparing we finally found the right car for me that has satisfied my expected requirements, is very beautiful and all in my budget without having to settle for less. Two days ago we walked into the SquareOne’s Lot at literally 7:55pm(closed @8) to look at a car we saw online. We did not expect to have much luck since we have been car shopping and dealership hopping for a while. As we walked over the lot, Diego walked up to us and greeted us kindly. We ended up looking at a few other cars that had pulled my attention, even took a test ride and ended up staying till almost 11pm. The best part is that we walked out without being pushed to buy or sign the same day, but rather to sleep over it and come back refreshed the next day, which we sure did. Long story short... We ended up test driving 3 cars, felt welcoming and comfortable during our whole stay and went home with a beautiful new car and no regrets or anxiety. Point is that walking into a dealership and trying to trust is a really tough decision to make. We all been there and have had bad experiences when it comes to buying a car. I’m glad i got to do it the Right way this time. Diego was consistently being kind, honest and very patient with us. Always had an answer to any of my questions in a professional manner!! And yes, this sure is to be expected by a car sales person but it’s not very common unfortunately nowadays and that’s what made him stand out from the rest!!

Horribly dishonest salespeople. I live an hour away, and before going I called and asked what dealer fees were not reflected in the advertised price. I was told that there was a $695 dealer fee, and a $695 optional lojack fee. After I got there, drove the car around, and decided that I wanted it, my salesman Motivational Martin told me that there was another $2300 in fees. When I reminded him that I had asked him about this and asked why he lied to me, he told me that he and his co-workers are trained not to tell customers about their fees. If they are willing to lie about their fees at this business, theres little doubt in my mind that theyd lie about the condition of their cars. Stay far away.

I saw a Facebook ad for a Chrysler 300 I was interested in. The price was about $1200 less than dealers in my area were asking. So I thought about taking the 3 hour trip to check it out. That much of a savings would be worth it, as long as his fees werent too high.Before I went any further, I sent a message asking two simple questions. Does your dealership sell to New York and how much is your dealer conveyance fee?I dont need to be pestered if its $800, thats a non-starter, but if its $200, Id schedule a test drive.Anthony Hernandez got back to me said he sells to New Yorkers and he would like to call to discuss the fee. A conveyance fee is supposed to be the same for everyone. Every dealership in my area charges $75, and I told him that.Anthony was very condescending and said he had never seen a fee of $75 dollars before and if he had he would buy his cars from there.I sent him pictures of the purchase agreements of the last two cars I bought showing the $75 dollar fee on each, and suggested he contact them.Potential customers should know that this dealership wants to play games like this before you even step foot on the lot.A dealer fee shouldnt be made up when the dealership finds out if your a man or a woman, black or white, rich or poor. Its supposed to be the same for everyone.Beware of anyone who wants to back end a deal with fees that they wont tell you about up front.

I called spoke with Dianna she assured me the car was there when I got there she made copies of my license took all my info. She said she be back she was going to get the keys for tye car. She came back said someone brought the car this morning. I asked why didnt she call me because when I spoke with her at closing I told her I was traveling far. She tried to offer me to look at other cars but I felt something was shaddy and my husband and I left. I went to the halal dinner across the street to eat. I had my husband call maybe a half hour later to ask about the car. A guy answered and assured my husband the car was there and to come see it. My husband told him he will call back. He called back and another guy answered also assured him the car was there at that time my husband called them out and said how the car there and my wife and I just left. He said hold on came back then said oh it was brought to day but they brought it back for services. This car lot is a joke and a waste of time. I should listen when I read the reviews and the same thing was done to everyone else. We checked the lot and sure enough the car is not on the lot. They use cars for bate to get you there and try and offer you someone else. PLEASE READ AND BELIEVE THE REVIEWS
