They’ve retinted windows 3 times with scratches and bubbles each time. I wasted too much time with them. Every time I asked to not scratch the film they explained it’s on the glass, but after retint the scratch moves to a different side of the window. They don’t know how to tint! Do not tint windows here! And they don’t do refunds.

Everyone here is absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable and down to earth. They treat you like a human being rather than just trying to get you for your money. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

I got my front and back windows tinted. They said it would take 2-4 weeks for the bubbles to go away. It took 5 months. They did an awful job, I had to go back 3 times. I also had a spoiler installed. They cut the spoiler without asking me if I wanted it to be cut. I didnt. I was not happy with that the owner said they used some special adhesive for the spoiler. The spoiler is now falling off. The owner wont admit to using the adhesive and said he would charge me 150$ to take it off and put it back on. He charged me 50 in the first place. He claimed it was just the 3m tape but it was clearly not. The owner is a drug addict. He will lie to you and steal every penny from you he can. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE oh and by the way I still have some bubbles.

My experience with Boston Audio Design was superb. I bought an backup camera kit on Amazon but I couldn’t install it myself so I asked them to install it for me. They have done a perfect job install the backup camera and even did it better than I expected.

AVOID- whatever deal they are running is NOT WORTH IT.On 10/17/20, I redeemed a Groupon for 5 car window tints. I have a 2010 GM sedan and it should have been simple. They messed up multiple windows but the guy that does the windows said the issues would disappear as they dry out. I drove away, but the issues remained. They made me another appointment for 12/23/20. Again, they messed up fixing the windows but still swore the issues would disappear as they dry out. The issues remained. They made me a third appointment 2/20/21. When they finished, I recorded the worker saying the clearly visible imperfections will dry out. I explained that I had heard this before and that it was a lie. He assured me to wait 3 weeks.3 weeks have gone by since my last appointment and the windows look terrible. There are still visible air bubbles that have ruined the window tint. Their response to a refund was that it was glue stuck to the tint when theyre clearly air bubbles.After literally five months of BS, they didnt have the honesty to offer a refund and said I would have to come in a fourth time. They expect the customer to come in FOUR TIMES (probably more!) for a 5 window tint job during a pandemic.Guy at the front will smooth talk you with scripted information about your service and its warranty and may even walk you out to your car, but keep in mind:-they do not offer refunds of any kind- they will only ask you to keep coming back on your dime.-they do not guarantee the rear windows and if they rip off your defroster lines, oh well,-there are other deals online where the work wont look like a chimp did it-another tinting professional noted that he sees dirt in the tint and their extended wait times to let the tints dry are unheard of.-if you have a nice car, do you want to risk ruining its appearance or functionality over a terrible tint, starter, or audio job?

Go somewhere else!!! I have a 2020 Nissan Sentra SV fresh off the lot and took it here to do my tint. When it was done I told Scott that the back window didnt come out right and he said to give it two weeks and come back and if still not satisfactory, he would do it over. I came back and first of all, he had bad energy to began with saying he doesnt know if it will come out good because of this and that. Then he said to hang around as if it would only be about 20 mins. I left and came back about 20 minutes later, and he said he touched up a spot that wasnt even in question. He had not touched my car at all, and then lied. I took my keys and just left. If you want quality work done on your baby, do not come here. Instead of doing the work or being honest, excuses were made. I could have spent my $300 elsewhere for all the hassle. I dont know how they do with audio, but this was a turn off. Why would I come back after this experience? Why would a new customer take a chance? If you pay your money, they should do the job and stand by what they say. I dont even write reviews but this was a must. So BEWARE!!!!

Customer service was awesome! My car was in and out in an hour and half for a full all around tint job. Car looks great, and the tint comes with a lifetime warranty! Couldnt be happier with the outcome. 10/10 would recommend.

Recently had my cars windows tinted. All 5 windows and the 6 inches at the top of the windshield. Got a much better deal than what was advertised on their web site. They also qoute on their website that the job would take 2 hours for just the 5 windows. Everything was done within 30 minutes. They told me how to take care of the windows and now 3 weeks later I can say the windows came out perfect. I would definitely come back here for other vehicles. For tinting/audio)remote start.!!!

I got my remote starter from a Groupon. They were hard to reach to get that scheduled but once I was able to reach them my appointment was within a week. They did a great job with the installation and making sure I understood how it worked.

Ive had remote car starters put into several of the vehicles I owned. Boston Audio never disappoints me. I generally deal with Scott but the whole team are pure professionals.

I had my car windows tinted in this place and very disappointed with what happened. Instead of blasting a review here initially, I went in person to speak to the owner thinking he would understand what happened but complete opposite put the blame on me. So i went to this place thinking im getting a 35% window tint, and apparently they had put 43% instead because apparently thats the legal limit after you consider the original factory window tint. None of this information was explained when i went in in the first place and as a regular customer its very misleading what they are doing. Instead of telling me the first day like. Hey pal we gonna put 43% film to make it legal, are you ok with that? But nope this conversation never took place and they just said you want legal tint right. Im not a professional but I know one thing i went to the catalog and pointed to the 35% film of the service i wanted to get done, dont matter if its not legal thats what i wanted, but the owner did not want to hear any of this and refused to take ownership of the situation. And instead of realizing this was poor clarification and figure out a way to fix this instead they just kept insisting and pushing back.Bottom line: i thought this business would take ownership of something like this and actually make it right since I clearly wanted the 35% film to be put and not 43% what they had done. Very disappointed with their handling of this, you expect better if you truly are a respectful business, its just completely unfair to pay for something and something else is done and on top of that to be blamed. Messed up

Owner seems to take it personally when you ask for a discount. They were very professional in explaining to me the difference between window tintings they had with examples. It didnt take too much time to get the service done. I appreciated a lot that the owner wrote a print out that explain that in the first 2 weeks imperfections might appear but they usually go away by themselves. You get this print out when your service is done, stating also the lifetime warranty against fading and smth else. Very well thought and professional.I was not an easy customer because I did make a bunch of questions. Once the service was done, I was glad I brought my car to them. All the lines were perfect. They took the care to place stickers on the window buttons so no one tries to open them during the first days.I am only giving them 4 stars because despite cleaning the windows with water and soap, they left all my doors dirty. I had these marks of dried up soap on all doors, over the speakers too. It just bothered me because it has to do with the presentation of their service and it would have taken 5 minutes for someone to clean it.

After moving from another state with my car, I needed to get the tint on my car removed to abide by Mass. regulations. I called around but Boston Audio Design was one of the few places that could do it and also do it for a fraction of the price I was quotes at another place. Got my tints done, looked good but had a few scratches on them. After a week or so it got off not sure why but probably because it wasnt properly installed. Emailed them they said come in anytime after they open but when I drove an hour to get it replaced they asked me to set an appointment for at least 3 weeks in advance. I also tried calling everyday for a week and tried emailing them before I went but no response thats why I just went and when I got there they were also pretty rude about the fact that I just showed up.

They did an absolutely great job installing a remote starter in my van. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because they took 3 hours to do it. I would have appreciated being told that ahead of time. Friday was my only day off and my time is valuable.

Bought a radio and necessary parts from Best Buy. All I needed was installation but Best Buy was booked for over two months. No way I’m waiting that long. So I go to Boston Audio Design and explain to them what I’d like done. They were able to put my car in the garage within a half hour and had the job done within maybe an hour. They also discovered that Best Buy gave me the wrong DIN and immediately got out the correct one while advising me to return the former. The radio looks amazing in my car. Another 5 ⭐️install by the team at Boston Audio. This is the 5th car they have done for me. I stopped in a few weeks ago for vinyl wrap on my exterior and carbon wrap on the interior. Today 2 12” subs and an amp. They also wired in a bass control know and system kill switch. Clean and efficient as always.

I went to get a remote starter from here a couple of days before thanksgiving. everything was fine when I drove it off the lot. when I would start the car with the remote, and unlock it with the remote they gave me, my alarm would go off. I called them and told them the situation, they schedule me to come in for them to fix the issue. they did not fix the issue, my alarm still goes off when the car is being unlocked after being remote started. I called them back again and explained to them the situation, the lady at the front stated she would speak to her manager and give me a call back. that was on 12/21. it is now 12/26 and I still have not heard back from them. I am very disappointed as remote starters are not cheap. now I will probably have to spend more money for someone else to do the job correctly.

I had my BMW 328xi and my BMW 528xi tinted, and they did a great job on both vehicles, and they take groupons. PLUS, I had a back-up camera installed on my 528xi kit from BimmerTech, even though I had to take my car back a few times to get it right. I want to commend the owners (John and Matt) on that they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the work. They final got it to work correctly but with no fault of their own. Boston Audio is the only place I will let touch ANY car I have/ will own. They do an excellent job for a fraction of the price other places charge. I am living in New Hampshire because I go to school up here, but I still travel over 100 miles just for John and the guys at BA to make my ride look and sound great.

Installed a navigation system in my Camaro- these guys are THE BEST!! They helped recommend what was best and not just a hard sale and thats why I trust them and come back. They tinted windows on 2 other cars, a friends car and next Ill have this done too.

I bought a groupon for my windows to be tinted two years ago. Price was excellent. I bought it again now for my Ford Explorer’s driver and passenger side windows. While there I found out they do lettering for cars/trucks. I utilized their service for that as well. I was able to get everything done that I needed to do in one shop. While they worked on my car I ran to the registry to change my plates. I did in a couple hours what took me a day to do in the past. The manager was accommodating and provided excellent customer service throughout. He provided options and at no time did I feel I was being upsold, he simply provided options to assist me with a decision on how I would like to move forward. Second time there and definitely will be a repeat customer. Simply, thank you!

I had issues with sound output from my car stereo, and was planning to change speakers. I usually play audio from my cellphone connecting aux with FM transmitter (since original stereo does not have Aux port).I came to Boston audio design for getting the quote. These guys attended me patiently and guided me that my original car speakers are fine and there is no need to replace them. Issue is in the audio input from my mobile, as quality degrades while using FM transmitter.If I would not have came to Boston Audio Design, I might had wasted dollars in purchasing new speakers, and then later realizing the root cause.Thanks Boston Audio Design !

First and foremost everyone at Boston Audio was extremely pleasant and nice to talk to. Knew their stuff. etc. BUT I would be careful. The job done with my tint was very very good, however; i specifically asked what was covered under the warranty and i was told:-peeling-fading-not turning purple-bubbling-SCRATCHES.-and that is the right %And when I called to set up an appointment (about 10 months later) to replace them under warranty for scratches i was told that its not covered. They also asked for my receipt and i was told when i got the car that its all in their computer and i dont need a receipt. Overall i feel like they walked the lines a little too close. Next car I get I am going to look elsewhere for tinted windows simply because i was very cautious of who was going to do it and the warranty because its an expensive job and you always want it done right. So i know what i asked specifically about the warranty.

I had my car’s windows tinted at Boston Audio Design in Quincy. Their staff was professional, welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. I chose to wait there while they completed the installation, they offer complimentary Wi-Fi, TV with Roku and an adequate seating area. The result was a great looking, legal (although they did offer darker) tint with a lifetime warranty included on the product and labor. I’d recommend Boston Audio Design to anyone looking to get tint on their windows. The only thing I would suggest to Boston Audio Design would be to put a large sign at their driveway’s entrance to allow those unacquainted with the area to find the driveway easier, as they’re located on a large industrious road.

The Groupon is very misleading. I paid $30 more, totaling $100 for 2 Windows and it looks like they did nothing. Yes the staff is very nice but Im not happy with the tint. You can still see inside my car. Make sure they show you examples of which tint youre getting, mistake I made by not seeing examples. You might as well pay full price and get what you want. This Groupon is a scam!

The guys made a good service on my car with tint, but they schedule me for 3PM i got there on time, they started work on my car almost 5pm and I left there 6:30 so if you wanna go there, leave your car and forget about it

We did a tinting for legal. And this guys did for less thats how supposed to be legal even they say don’t wory you have waranty. Went back here and they couldn’t find the car on their inventory and they want to charge me twice this place it’s a scum they want to still your money.

This place is run by a bunch of dirtbags. They give you a price over the phone and then when you come in and drop off your car for work, they call you five minutes later trying to change the price, knowing that you already agreed on something and have left for a short period of time for them to do their work. They are extremely unprofessional and should truthfully be shut down. They have no idea what theyre doing with audio either. I have a brand new car, brought all my equipment to them, went through everything multiple times, and they called me ten mins after I left talking about, You need a wiring kit. I explained that the wiring kit was in the box that I gave them, as we had previously discussed. His response to that was, Oh yea. Now, had I gone in there just trusting they wouldnt try to rip me off, they probably would have. They are very slick, so I would never suggest anyone to bring business their way unless you want to be ripped off or overpay for services they are unqualified to do. I drove all the way from NH and they knew that, so they tried to get me with these extra charges after I spoke with them TWICE before driving an hour and 25 mins to Quincy. Theyre very fake on the phone and rude when you go in. The minute my husband walked in because I was all upset, their demeanor changed. I wouldnt give a dollar for any business to this dump if they were the last company out there! Dont waste your time folks. Dont say you werent warned if your car has serious issues after still deciding to go there. Good luck!

I purchased the coupon from groupon. I went there after i scheduled my appointment and told me that is an extra 40 bucks now.I asked for 35% tinted windows. 41% front and 16% rear windows was the result. I dont know how they did that. However this year I couldn’t pass inspection and i went back. The front guy told me that he couldnt find my invoice (i am still laughing here, sorry) and when i toldto tell his boss came and talk, his boss was very busy and they had me wait for 30 minutes. After he came he said “we cant find your invoice so i will need 300 bucks to re do them and end of conversation “. Hahahaha. Ok. The quality of the work they did is not the best you can find much better places, however those guys are far the worst to deal with. Stay away.
