Great living community with responsive office and maintenance staff. Sean and Rob have always resolved maintenance orders promptly, and the office staff is always helpful and supportive. This teams work is much appreciated!
Sometimes things happen that just dont go as planned. It is how you handle it that defines things. There were hiccups with my move in to a unit, but understanding and diligent efforts helped ease the move. Sean on the staff went above and beyond taking on a task I was avoiding just to help out because things werent going perfect. The team in the office communicated nicely and made efforts to make things right and me feel welcomed!
This is a great community to live at. The maintenance staff is awesome. Just recently our smoke detectors went off and Sean came right away and was super helpful. The office staff is also great and very responsive.
We recently moved from NYC to the Avalon Quincy. Moving out of state with two kids under 2 and two large dogs was no small task. Nick and Robert made the move flawless for us. They took all the stress off of our shoulders and made the move in process so easy. Nick answered every one of my 1000 emails I sent prior to our move and Robert met our movers who arrived prior to us (thanks to NYC traffic) and let them in to our unit even though it was close to 5:30! The next day Robert came back and went over all the features of our apartment. Like any building, it had minor things that needed repair, and those were done promptly and within a few days. Everyone we have met that works at the property has been so wonderful in welcoming us not only at Avalon, but also in Quincy. It is not easy to move to a new city, know nothing about it, and not know anyone here. We have been here going on two weeks now, and feel very safe here. Safety was a major factor in picking a place to live since we have two young children. We could not be more happy with our decision to live at Avalon Quincy!
My boyfriend and I have been living at Avalon Quincy for about 2 years now (recently resigned for a third year!). We love it here; clean, safe, and beautifully maintained. The office staff is friendly and very helpful. However, the maintenance team- Sean, Rob, Armando, Dan, and Anthony- make Avalon a great place to live. We firmly believe the maintenance team and their professionalism is one of the highlights of living here. The team has come to our apartment handful of times, and they are always pleasant, communicative, and get the job done! Thank you maintenance team!!
These are really nice apartments! super pet friendly and clean. all the dog owners we’ve met have been awesome! our 2 bedroom apartment is extremely spacious for 3 people. so far so good!
Have been living here for a short while and already I can say it’s a great community! The apartments offered are beautiful and kept up well. The staff is AMAZING! GREAT customer service all around! They are ready and willing to help in any way.
We toured the property and model units a few weeks ago. We were very impressed with what was offered in terms of the units and the amenities. Everything was also immaculately clean and well maintained. Covid protocols were being upheld the entire time. Nick in the leasing office gave us a great tour of the property and answered all of our questions to the fullest. He was a great resource that really helped us make an informed decision.
The building is great with good apartment sizes and amenities. Additionally, building maintenance crew is top-notch. They come as soon as a request is placed and resolve the issues.
Ive stayed here for almost 3 years now and I absolutely love it! Everybody in the office staff is very helpful and polite. The maintenance people are simply great. Ive had great experiences with everyone I have interacted with on the Avalon Quincy team, Katelyn, Nick, Brianna, Sean and Rob are all awesome. The Dog park from the Quincy city is so close and is amazing- my pupper loves it. Overall I think it is a great place to stay and call home

Ive been living at Avalon Quincy for about a month and couldnt be happier! Katelyn in the leasing office has been unbelievably helpful as we continue to settle in, and Sean and his maintenance team have been so responsive in updating a few little things around the apartment for us. The apartment itself is so lovely, and the location is amazing. I expect we will be really happy here for quite a while :)

My partner and I just finished living at Avalon Quincy for a one year lease. I can say many positive things. The management staff is awesome and they work to create community events every quarter at no extra cost to renters. I want to specifically mention Nick Mendros, who has been extremely patient and understanding to any requests or questions I have had in the last year. The apartments themselves are well laid out and have a modern feel to them. Their online portal is easy to use for making payments and service requests. The maintenance team in general are also good and when entering your apartment are respectful of your space and privacy.The worst thing I can say about Avalon Quincy is that some of the dog owners do not properly clean up after their dog, this is most apparent in the late winter and early spring before the landscapers start working.
My wife and I have lived here for almost two years and we love it. The staff is great and they truly do care about their tenants. The grounds are always clean and the amenities are amazing. I would also like to say that the gentleman assigned to cleaning building 2 is great. He is very kind and a very hard worker. Also, maintenance staff, Sean is by far one of the best I’ve seen since living in various apartment complexes. He is not only a very hard worker but he is kind and respectful. Sean always comes prepared for whatever maintenance task he’s assigned and makes sure he completes the work correctly and in a timely manner. Thank you Avalon for making this a great home for us.
I just moved in and I love the community already . My apartment is beautiful !! Very modern . They were able to attend to whatever concerns I had promptly. Katelyn was extremely helpful through the entire process. I am glad I have a great team that I can count on while I live in my new place !!!

This is a review to highlight the work of the maintenance crew specifically. They make it a very nice place to live, going the extra mile to keep it clean and orderly (pre pandemic) and have really stepped up keeping it clean during this current situation. Hard workers like Rob who has come to make repairs in an orderly and efficient manner while also explaining to us what he’s doing make this a top notch living situation. Rob is very friendly and kind on top of all that and deserves name recognition. Keep up the good work!
I have been living in the Avalon for little over 4 months now and I can say I love coming home everyday from a long day of work. Our community is always clean from the hallways to the elevators. Anytime I have guest from out of town they are always impressed on how my community is in tip top shape. If you are looking for the WOW Factor, the Avalon in Quincy is where you need to be.Special thanks to my leasing agent Elizabeth Tronni. She has been more then straightforward with me before move in date and exceeding her role, when I am in need of anything.
BE CAUTIOUS OF BUILDING 1!!! I lived here for 2 years and everything was pretty good. There was trouble with the upstairs neighbors smoking weed (claimed to be smoke free apartments) and if you have kids living above you its very annoying as the sound insulation is terrible.Then we found out there were drug dealers down the hall that were using other residents names and mailing addresses to ship their drugs. We didnt know when it happened to us the first time just thought it was confusion with the mail, but the second time we got it and it was 10 pounds of marijuana! Much to our surprise Avalon can do nothing to the other residents. They never even took initiative to reach out to us once we reported the issue -- we were always the ones having to contact them. Their communication is severely lacking.Overall, Avalon treats new residents well, but whenever there is an issue there is nothing they will do. Our rent increased by $100 the first year and stayed the same the second (even though the same apartments were $100 cheaper for new residents).
I moved into Avalon Quincy in July of 2019 and have never seen such a beautiful community! I renewed my lease this July and am so happy I did! I wouldnt consider living anywhere else. From the beautiful amenities to the high quality of my apartment home, I couldnt be happier! Im writing this just after we received over 15 of snow and am amazed at the attention of Avalon Quincy to have the parking lots, walk ways, side walks and entry to my building clean and safe. A huge thank you to all of the wonderful leasing and maintenance staff. If I ever have any questions or requests, I immediately get a very friendly and more than satisfactory response. My fellow residents are extremely friendly and always happy to say hello with a smile! While there are a lot of options on where to live, I HIGHLY recommend Avalon Quincy. Five stars isnt enough for a rating, Avalon Quincy deserves 10 stars!!!!!
The Avalon is amazing. This is the first place I have renewed a lease and plan to stay for a while. Katelyn in the leasing office is awesome and the maintenance guys are the best, always on top of things and go above and beyond and always with a smile on their face.
Have lived in Avalon Quincy for 3 years. What makes Avalon Quincy home are the amazing maintenance folks. The quality of service is outstanding. John and Rob are the nicest people. Rob knows all the dogs and they all know him. He has treats for them all! Check this place out; you wont be disappointed.
Updating my 5 star review to 1 star.Currently renting a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom which isn’t cheap. You would expect a working washing machine and for the team on site to communicate.I’ve been without a working washing machine for too long, people are constantly dodging my calls and emails. General Electric is suppose to be here fixing my machine today (again) and I still haven’t heard from ANYBODY. We are in August this has been on going since June.On multiple occasions maintence has entered my unit without notice, nor did they leave a work order describing work completed. They entered my unit on multiple occasions while I was home sleeping-during a global pandemic and I’m immune compromised. I don’t know how hygienic people are, what they’ve touched, if vaccinations are required for staff.Things are CONSTANTLY breaking in this apartment. It’s over priced rent and the cheapest stuff used to make it look fancy. They picked quantity over quality.I had to request for the on site manager to call me. There was no initiative taken on their account to work with me or resolve this issue until I became a Karen.I’m absolutely disgusted with how my issue has been handled here. For $2600 and no utilities you’d be upset too.

Maintenance and staff at Avalon Quincy are amazing. They are literally on it all the time. As soon as it snowed (on a Sunday), they were out there clearing the parking lot from all of the snow so that we can easily get to work tomorrow. Love living here!
I love Avalon Quincy. The amenities are amazing, nice gym, great pool, dog park for the pups and a rooftop deck with a city view. The office staff is always warm and inviting and the maintenance staff is timely and efficient. Huge shout out to Rob for always taking the time to say hi, get to know each of the residents, and bring cookies to the puppies!! This community really feels like home and I am so happy to call it that. 🤗
Can’t say enough about how wonderful it is to live here! We have lived here since it opened and have been in two different apartments. The process to lease and change leases was seamless. The office was incredibly helpful and accommodating to our schedule to be able to move in (thanks Jennifer!).Maintenance is SO responsive and efficient. We always receive a follow up call and clear summary after we request service and it is always within one day. We Have specifically worked with Rob and Sean and both are equally great!Overall it’s a very inclusive and diverse environment with a great neighborhood feel. We are proud Avalon Quincy residents!
The Avalon Quincy has been a great place to live. Nick Mendros helped make my transition from New York to Quincy as stress free as possible. The apartment is spacious and includes everything we wanted in terms of appliances. Neighbors have been friendly as well. Overall, our experience has been great so far and currently do no have any complaints

It is great place to live. Very quite and you can sleep peace fully. The best part is Liz - sales consultant - When I walked in, she explained about the community and show me so many available options to me. I picked the one I like. When I moved in, Liz took time and explain about the all functionalities and explain what how to do. Because of her explanation, I just moved in.

He has been extremely helpful and continues to check in a year later. The maintenance team is very responsive. And Bill is always a friendly face on the shuttle each morning!

Good location and near to a lot of conveniences. Friendly neighbors. Only negative thing I could say is maybe a bigger swimming pool as it gets crowded during summer. An out of state job transfer is the reason I am moving out. Highly recommend Avalon for your living

This is a well managed community. The maintenance staff is excellent, especially Rob, who is very professional and always takes the time to answer any questions that I have about the apartment features. I also appreciate how well the buildings are maintained, as there is cleaning staff on the premises daily.
Have been here about 6 months and so far it is a really good experience. The apartment layout, light and view are all great (mileage may vary depending on unit of course). Decent finishes. On floor trash and recycling chutes are convenient. I seem to have respectful neighbors because I rarely hear them. There is a mix of tenants which I like. It is a very convenient commute (drive) to the Boston Seaport area for me (30 minutes in the morning, less in evening). I know there is a shuttle service to the red line but cant speak to it. The best part is the staff. Everyone is helpful and friendly. I havent had any major issues yet but the minor things have been addressed quickly (hot water issues). This is my 2nd experience with an Avalon community and the 1st was great as well.
I highly recommend Avalon Quincy if your looking for a nice place to live that is very convenient to Boston. I am going on my 3rd year living here and I really have nothing but excellent things to say about the community and the staff! The staff will go out of their way to help you as much as they can and IF a work order is put in by a resident, the maintenance team gets to it very quickly. The ammenties are great, the community is great.. If you are looking for a place, come check it out!!
There are no words to describe how happy I am with Avalon Quincy! The building and amenities are well-maintained and make living here amazing. Liz in the leasing office is incredibly welcoming and helpful. She put me at ease from the moment I met her. In addition, the maintenance staff are constantly on the job and work hard to keep everything pristine. I know I made the right choice and will not be moving out anytime soon!

I just moved to Avalon Quincy from NY. It is absolutely the best of everything. The architecture, design and attention to detail in my new apartment is absolutely amazing. I have a great view in the distance of Boston Skyline and everyone I have met here has been kind and welcoming. The wonderful staff especially Elizabeth and Chris who have helped me make a move from Out-of-State seem effortless. Everyone here is so professional and helpful and it has exceeded my expectations of a wonderful new place to call home. And I forgot to mention a great gym and pool and I have not been able to get to the rooftop deck but will be there soon!! Kimberly
The Avalon at Quincy is a highly exceptional community, from the building design is stunning and well maintained. The overall community experience is great! Their leasing process is very efficient, I applied online and picked up my keys the next day. Liz & Colleen were an amazingly helpful !! The staff overall is warm, friendly and always willing to help! I absolutely love it love it here!!

Very happy with my experience living at Avalon Quincy! Very good layout of the apartment. appliances are above average, a nice change from other places I’ve lived that had the most basic models available. Tons of storage in the kitchen. We were lucky enough to get a corner unit with a large deck and view of Boston. The few service calls I made were handled quickly and professionally. Office staff are always excellent to work with. Great amenities with gym, pool, playground, dog park.
The best part about living at an Avalon property is that they are responsive and focus on making sure tenants are happy. This community is no different. The property is beautiful and amenities are great. I cant wait for summer to take advantage the club-like rooftop deck and pool outside my door!
Folks please note. Current leasing trend is 10 months with cheaper price in most of the communities. We might get attracted to the price now and after 10 months from now is perfect summer. You will end up getting higher price for renewal and you will see higher price in other communities also. $20 or 30 or 50 bucks less price is to get you to 10 months lease so that after 10 months u ll be out of winter season renewal and u are pushed to summer renewal window when the prices go peak. Think for long term and decide. General suggestion.Still Eaves by Avalon is the best place in Quincy to live. Always feel like home. Please change the pricing policies.
Avalon Quincy is a great community to live in. Its always clean and has the feeling of being very safe and secure. The staff here is also amazing.Jennifer in the office was a huge help transitioning from one apartment to the other, she made the whole situation easy and manageable. The Maintenance team here is fantastic, Rob is easily one of the nicest guys you will meet. Both Seans are also extremely helpful and polite.My only small issue is that the folks above me seem to always be in a rush because they run back and forth in their apartment daily and they have not learned how walking works. But that has nothing to do with the amazing staff that works here and the community they have built.
We have been living here for about two weeks and we really love it! Our apartment is great, and the staff is friendly, but we love our leasing consultant Liz! Most of the building was empty when we toured and Liz took us through many apartments until we found the perfect one. Since the day we moved in she always greets us by name and has been genuinely kind and helpful. We love her!
After almost two years at Avalon Quincy, I am just as happy, if not more so, than the day I moved in. Along with the amenities that are so valuable for a more simplistic lifestyle, the maintenance crew at Avalon are incredible - so efficient and fast! I recently notified them around noon time of a slow drain in a bathroom sink and by the time I returned home from work it was fixed. They are constantly working around the complex cleaning and repairing things so everything remains in tip top shape. I love living at Avalon Quincy!
Honestly one of the best places to live in Quincy. Everything is clean and the staff is amazing. Even if there is a problem, which there rarely are, they are quick to fix it. I have lived in other luxury apartments in Quincy Center, and this is hands down the best place to live!
Im a new resident of Avalon Quincy, and within the first month here I have been pleasantly surprised by how excellent the location is managed, especially in the hands of the community managers, Troy and Chuck. They are extremely personable, thoughtful, and eager to assist in anything from package handling to maintenance. Im very thankful to have such great guys and professionals managing the buildings as I get situated in my new home.
The staff here are extremely helpful and very prompt with their follow ups. The apartment and community is beautiful and so far my family and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. We highly recommend living here and working with Liz!!!
We just moved in and I would say one of best leasing experience we had. Elizabeth was our contact person and she was amazing. Very nice person and very professional. All together the staff was really nice, professional and welcoming us from the beginning. Brand new apartment with gym is really great and we like it so much.
Avalon Quincy the worst choice one to stay especially I only contract with two month lease and they charge me notice feel because I didnt give them 60 days notices but I actually did told the sales supervisor-Stephane who I told her twice before move in and during sign the leases. They charge me around more than 2000 dollars for that and even is not my fault was their employee and end up I have to pay it is so ridiculous. Also they will charge you cleaning fee no matter if you hire someone to clean

I moved here from NYC - great locations, really friendly and helpful staff. Made it easy for a late move in on a Sunday and really accommodating. Residents are nice and respectful for the most part. No complaints since I moved in - really love the addition of security at night.

We are so happy with our current living residence. The Avalon has everything we are looking for in a home at this time in our lives. The staff we have encountered are friendly, experienced, and resourceful. One staff member, Elizabeth Tronni, has been a blessing during the whole application and move in process. She made sure all of our questions were answered and our needs were met. Even now, months after living here, Liz has still been amazing; responding to emails quickly, checking in on us here and there, even just remembering certain things about our lives that we may have mentioned in passing. The Avalon truly feels like home and it has been made possible by the wonderful people who work here.

Moved into Avalon from Nov 2016-Nov 2017 and absolutely fell in love with the property, the neighbors, the leasing officer managers and overall the vibe of Avalon Quincy. All individuals and families there are extremely kind and professional! When our family had to move to Florida in Nov 2017; we were so sad we had to leave for my husbands job. We are now back at Avalon in May 2018 and so excited to be back!! Apartments are modern and amazing, the maintenance team is great and you simply can’t beat the amenities here!!

My boyfriend and I recently moved to this community from the city and we couldnt be happier. From our first visit to see apartments, Liz (Elizabeth) was so friendly, helpful and fun. She listened to what we wanted, and made sure to show us options that would fit within our budget. Unlike a lot of leasing agents that Ive met before, it felt that she genuinely wanted to help us find our dream home. It was because of her that I was able to convince my boyfriend to move!The shuttle to the city is not only easy, but super convenient with multiple times in the AM and PM. There is a great amount of parking on the property along with a gym, pool, roof deck and grills.Everyone weve met so far has been very friendly! We had a few questions about the apartment (ie. getting the water temperature a little higher) and a maintenance guy came over within an hour to fix it for us. He was very friendly and informative, telling us info about the community and offering any answers we needed.For two people that were dubious about living outside the city, we honestly couldnt be happier. You will not regret choosing Avalon Quincy!
Everything was great from the time I stopped by the complex to take a look at the apartments way up to the time when I moved in. Pleasant, knowledgeable staff, brand new and clean apartment homes, easy I-93 access. 24/7 maintenance if you need it. Again, cannot stress enough how great staff is, Chris Carney is my go to if any help is needed.

Ive been living here for about two weeks now and its been a really great experience thus far.The apartments are beautifully crafted with a great location overlooking Blue Hills or the Boston skyline and harbor. Due to the location, I feel that most of the apartments receive a good amount of natural lighting. Since were atop a hill, there is also a decent breeze coming through, I havent needed to use the AC as much. As for the amenities -- I was made to understand that the gym and more will be ready coming mid October, Im hoping they can stick to this timeline. Very excited!The management team has been incredibly accommodating as well. Liz, Chris, and Lisa have been helping me out throughout my time here. Theyre very professional and always willing to help when they can.Great times here so far!
I have been living here for almost a month now and everything is perfect! Liz at the leasing office answered my numerous emails and my never ending questions in the months before I moved in! She was a great help and resource in helping me choose the perfect apartment for my budget and tastes! The location is great, just outside of downtown Quincy and I love the complex. The pool is very refreshing and the roof deck lounge has some amazing sunset views! I would highly recommend this complex!
I moved to the Avalon Quincy just last week. Moving from the Avalon Exeter in Boston, I had high expectations. Well, I am loving my new home !!! The move in process was seamless and so well coordinated by the amazing office staff! Liz, Lisa and Chris are so professional and accommodating.... Liz made sure I was settled in even on her day off! My apartment is just incredible. My view is breathtaking and Im paying a fraction of the price for city living. My commute to Cambridge is comfortable with the shuttle to the Quincy Center T provided by the Avalon. I would be remiss if I didnt thank our shuttle driver (who is also amazing and so friendly no matter what time of day he picks you up!!). A great community! Im happy I made the move!!!
My experience with the maintenance team has been unbelievable. Rob has been quick and fantastic at getting the job done; even has called me after maintenance requests were completed to make sure they were done correctly! Awesome job!
Its hard to find a place that allows dog, let alone a place as clean and beautiful as this. Our dog Maple loves the dog park and we love that we have a place for her to get her exercise. The property is always kept clean even while they are still building new buildings. The fact that the use of the pool and gym is included in the rent is a huge bonus compared to the surrounding apartment complexes where you have to pay to use them. Having our own washer and dryer in unit was also a big selling point. Everything in the unit is new and energy efficient so even our utilities are not outrageous and are easy to budget for. Cant say anything bad about Avalon, and the staff are all amazing. Highly recommend calling this place your home!
Avalon Quincy has been nothing but amazing thus far. When we toured the apartment the Community Consultant, Chris, was amazing and was extremely thorough with showing us around and answering all questions. The team working at Avalon Quincy are all very professional and so helpful.
I have lived here for 2 months now and couldnt be happier! The location is perfect being close in close proximity to local restaurants as well as the highway. The amenities are amazing and the staff is always super nice and helpful!
Just moved in and great experience so far. Chuck was our Consultant and he was great, super responsive, and answered all of our questions. We moved from out of state so there are a lot of little things that pop up that are when you can’t just drive down to the building. He even went the extra mile to go take some measurements for us prior to move in.The service team is friendly and quick to respond. We had a couple of bigger issues in our apartment at move in but everyone has been attentive and worked quickly to resolve. Stephanie and Sean have both been great in ensuring things were addressed quickly and to our satisfaction.While the apartments are beautiful, some of the materials used are less than top notch, but hey, that’s apartment living.Overall happy with the community and the entire team here!

Ive lived here for over a year with my girlfriend and couldnt be happier. Staff deals with issues quickly, and whatever issues arise are usually incredibly small as it is. Stress free environment with great neighbors, amenities and a relatively good location.
My wife and I just moved I to Avalon Quincy and we love it. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. The apartment complex is pet friendly and the apartments are beautiful. They even offer complimemtary shuttle service to the nearest T line station.
Recently moved into the Avalon in Quincy. The move was made stress free with the help of Liz in the leasing office. I visited this complex several times and each time Liz was very professional, took time to answer any of my questions and delivered outstanding customer service. Liz kept me informed of any apartments that I might be interested in looking at and was very helpful assisting me to organize and submit any paperwork needed for me to move in. Very positive experience with my recent move and interaction with the associates at Avalon.
Being in the military I have moved around a number of times. This is by far the best apartment complex Ive lived at. Not only are they beautiful apartments inside but they also have great amenities. The biggest plus sides are the maintenance crew with their timely resolving of problems; as well as an amazing leasing staff. Ive had the pleasure of working with Chuck who has sadly transferred, and also worked with the leasing supervisor Stephanie. She has helped my family with issues and has been an amazing help all throughout our moving process. I highly recommend this apartment complex and only have good things to say about it.
My experience with Elizabeth at Avalon has been amazing. We showed up one Saturday without an appointment and she was wonderful!! She answered all of our questions and gave us a tour of the facility. I have since contacted her through email and phone and she has been so pleasant and accommodating. We even toured the facility again with her! The team at Avalon is incredibly responsive and accommodating. My husband and I have been so happy since moving here at the beginning of the year. Weve lived in several Avalon Communities over the years all over the country and they never fail to over deliver in service. We strayed last year and rented with another management company. We lasted a year and came right back to Avalon. They never disappoint.
I am new to the Avalon community and enjoying the great amenities and modern apartment. My experience started with touring the available apartment options with community consultant Elizabeth Tronni. She made the entire process easy, and her enthusiasm first sold us on living at the Avalon. Once we decided on an apartment, the leasing and move-in process was seamless thanks to the staff at Avalon Quincy. My maintenance requests are followed up on promptly, my dog loves the dog park, and I enjoy the clean and quiet community. Couldnt be happier with our new home!

This request was not complete. There was never a call back as to why we didnt have power. I had to call the fire department as to why there was no power. On another note, there is not back up generators to guide anyone to the exit areas to exit the property safely. This will be reported to the appropriate authorities.Thank you.
We have lived at Avalon for ~ 2 months and love it! Liz, in the leasing office, was so very helpful from our first visit. Truthfully, she is the one that sold us on living at Avalon. She gave honest reviews of the positive and negatives of our options within Avalon and has been there to check in and help with anything we need since signing our lease. Wonderful amenities, superbly clean and safe grounds, speedy and friendly maintenance and beautiful apartments. Yay Avalon!!!
Recently moved to Avalon Quincy and could not be happier with the amenities, staff, and overall experience during this process. Liz Tronni was the absolute best to work with! She totally understood what we needed, when we needed it, and did everything she could to help us obtain our perfect apartment. The maintenance staff is very proactive and immediately helps to fix any issues you may have. Not to mention, they are super friendly as well which makes having a stranger in your apartment, not so worrisome. Very pleased with our decision to stop by and tour a couple months ago! Rob from Maintenance and the entire Office staff have been nothing but incredible! They are always professional, extremely courteous, and down to earth. While only requiring a few minor service requests, Rob always comes by within a day (usually within a few hours) and resolves the issue the first time. Most of the staff have taken the time to learn our names and even our dog. They always have treats on hand, so he doesnt even mind the visits! Keep up the great work Rob and team!
Lived there for a year. Couple of reasons that made me move out and gave one start review.1. At the end of the lease, they increased my rent by 20%. When I complained about it, they didnt even try to negotiate or explain. The only option was to accept it or move out.2. Elevator safety inspection in building 4 was expired on 2017-08-30 and started to make scary noise. I asked the office multiple times. They said the inspection services were back up, and theres nothing they could do. Eventually, the inspection was not done till late November 2017.3. My friend lived with me for couple of weeks, and got threatened by the office lady in the gym. She went: you are not allowed to use the gym if your name is not on the lease. Dont let me see you again in the gym.4. I hired a professional to do the move-out cleaning. But still, Avalon managed to find some dirt in one of the drawers and charged me 320 dollars for cleaning that.
It is the worst experience ever. I will not recommend anyone to move into this property. You cannot fall asleep at anytime of the day. You god a kid running all over the place upstairs in the middle of the night and early morning. You also got horrible noise from your next door during from evening to next morning. The AC will turn off for a while and suddenly turn back on with huge noise. It almost hit 60 dB at 1:27am. You will never be able to sleep with such a huge noise. You will feel shocked even with your earplugs and feel your bedroom is shaking all the time. You will also get a neighbor downstairs to party for the whole night and sing for the whole night. Literately, if you move into Avalon, you will never get good sleep either during daytime and night. Maintenance team is good for other service requests except this request. They never helped on this. Bad choice ever. I wish I could move out as soon as possible if they still don’t help.
We moved into Avalon Quincy in Feb 17 and have been really happy with the apartment complex. We looked at all types of apts in Quincy and found Avalon was the best place for us-luxury with value. Id give 4.5 stars if I could. The apartment staff and managers are GREAT. So responsive and helpful. The maintenance team (especially Sean Dion) is also fantastic and fixes any issues within hours. The cleaning crew is there daily every morning and is the best cleaning service Ive seen.They host community events every few months which is a fun way to get to know other residents. Weve made a lot of friends and everyone is welcoming and friendly. Wide range of residents from young professionals to families.Pros: Great staff, nice apartments, large bedrooms & closets, large kitchens w/ island and spacious cabinets, FREE parking and plenty of it, friendly environment, free shuttle to T during work hours, smoke-free, pool and nice grilling area, roof-deck is amazing with views of Boston and rarely crowded, gym is top-notch and enough equipment for everyone, pet-friendly (but not pet-messy), nice landscaping and fun community socials.Cons: For the price of the rent the quality of construction and materials of the apt arent great. Pool is nice, unheated, and only open 10-8 so hard to use during the week. For energy efficient status the electric bill is through the roof. Community rental pricing (club house/roof-deck) is $$ but you can reserve it for events. Sound is fine side by side but you occasionally will hear the people above you.
We moved into Avalon in February 2017 and from the first phone call to set up an appointment to see the apartment throughout our time here the staff has been exceptional with everything.Liz took the time to show us different apartments to get us the exact floor plan and amenities we were looking for and helped with everything in between until we were settled. Anytime we have had any questions Liz or Chris in the leasing office has been more than gracious to answer and explain.The general areas in the building, the pool, roof top deck, common room and gym are immaculately kept as well as beautifully designed. The convenient location, so close to highway access, the secured building, beautiful apartment, best ever staff is why we are happy to make Avalon our home.
