Hannah, Katy, and Henry are all great for gel and acrylic Nails. They have so many color options and are so nice and professional. Everything is clean and sanitized. Love this place and all of their services, along with the drinks they serve while you get your nails done. 1000/10 recommend.

This is my go to nail spot in Puyallup. I’ve been going to Chit chat for over 2 years now. A few months ago I noticed that they were redecorating and had new staff. I honestly was a little nervous about how that’s going to affect the quality of work but thankfully things changed for the better! The new owner is so nice and goes above and beyond to make sure the customers are happy. Every time I come in I bring a picture of a new design I want to try and they always deliver! Everyone has been extremely nice and professional and do a great job.

First time my friend and I went in to get a pedicure and the pedicure looked great at the end, but the gal kept getting on her phone and searching stuff online and taking to someone on the phone. It was not a good experience and not professional at all.Second time my 2 friends and I went in, we got our nails done. 2 of us got a fill and 1 got dip. My friend that received dip had to go back twice later that afternoon because her nails just started breaking. When she went back the owner was extremely rude and annoyed she came back. My other friends gel on her acrylics looked horrible, they didn’t ask if she wanted them cut down or what shape she wanted and they honestly did not look good. It hasn’t even been a week and all my natural nails under my acrylic are lifting because they didn’t put glue down which can now cause fungus or an infection if water gets in between.Not impressed with the product or the customer service and we will not be going back.

I used to love this place. The brothers are friendly and very professional. Then I got a wax. The room was dirty. Gnats were everywhere and the lady was rude. She peeled off skin in several places and just was unpleasant.

*Edit* Came back twice already, got another bomb pedi and these Birthday Nails!!!Got a toe nail fell color done 3weeks ago, not gonna lie it still looks bomb, Im glad I typed him as well as I did, definitely my new nails spot!!!

Really enjoyed my pedicure. She did a really nice job. She was gentle and it was a very relaxing pedi. Most places rush, I wasnt rushed at all. Very good prices too! Definitely coming back.

This was my first visit to the new Chit Chat nail salon in Puyallup, located in the little strip mall in front of Ross. They have easy access and plenty of parking for their business. The staff were very professional and efficient, the establishment was very clean and stylish, very spa-like, with crystal chandeliers, nice tile, and updated paint colors. The chairs were new and comfortable and easy to operate. The backs of the chairs also referenced the Seattle Seahawks please note the pictures. They currently have a special going from 9 to 12 I believe its Monday through Thursday for a spa pedicure for $17.99. I added the additional wax for $5. They took their time and did an excellent job on my very tough feet. They were pleasant and easy to work with. Chit Chat Nails offered several selections for both manicures and pedicures and also offer facial packages. My only suggestion would be if they would offer a beverage while you were getting your nails done such as water, soda, tea or coffee something simple. I will definitely be going back again.

I do my own acrylic nails for about 4 years now, the only time I go to a salon is when I am too lazy to do my own. Normally when I go to a salon I am unhappy with the quality and never go back, so I tried out this place hoping I would be happy and I wasn’t disappointed!! They were really gentle in removing my old ones and the quality of my new set blew my mind! I saw Chris for my ombré acrylic and I will definitely come back every time I don’t want to do them myself. Their salon was clean, inviting AND they serve wine! Chris was good company, immediately asked my name and interacted with me the whole time, at most places they never introduce themselves and make VERY VERY small talk, we actually had a good conversation. I was so pleasantly surprised, so if you are reading this, trust me go to this place and ask for Chris to do your nails. You won’t be disappointed!

Good place to go they take care of your feet pretty good. I would have gave them five stars but the chair I was in didnt really work that well for the massage. And the lady clipping my toenails clipped one way too low and hurt really really bad. Other than that though it was great

Dark environment, Other than light over manicure table. Felt rushed. Tech did not change gloves from client before me . Went straight from removing old product to applying new without being told to wash my hands. Excess dip left near cuticles on some nails. Toenails left with sharp edges. Do not think I’ll be going back.

Great prices and a great job! The salon I was going to before charged twice as much and my nails would lift and my gel peeled😑 I’ve gone here 3 times now and I am extremely pleased!

I went here recently and they were really busy, i had an appointment and i didn’t get seated for 45 minutes. my nails turned out okay but the customer service was not that great. they seem to take on more people then they can handle.

Been here a few times when my main salon is busy. Able to get in quickly, but I have not been impressed with the quality. Nails come off after 5 days, the technicians act unhappy and bothered...

My first time was great very precise with their work and was also teaching another proper technique. They came out beautifully, definitely going back. My fill was $27

I went to get my nails done ombre. This was nerve wracking for me because Ive seen many photos online of people who have gotten very bad ombre. This was not the case here! They gave me a beautiful acrylic ombre just like the photo I showed them. Also, they did a very great job with cleanliness especially with COVID-19 going on. When you walk in they give you a waiver that you have to sign confirming that you did not have any covid symptoms and they take your temperature and have you wash your hands before being helped. Overall great job!

I have worked in salons and understand what it demands. I also worked in a nail salon in another country and learned how to do nails so I tend to be understanding when it comes to the work but have a high standard. That being said I have been to nail salons everywhere and am always disappointed.I have been going to this salon consistently since last year and am very satisfied with the service and work done. I receive SO MANY compliments on my nails and they last up to 3 weeks which by then I’m bored and need a new color/fill. Sure there are times when I have to wait or that my go to tech can’t do them but they are always polite to me. For me the service and the nails I get are worth it.

Ive been getting my nails done here for about 6months and I LOVE this place. They are always gentle and do a beautiful job. They dont pressure you to upgrade to gel or buy your own file and buffer (which Ive found to be a new theme among other shops) I only wish theyd been open when I got married because they do a beautiful acrylic ombre!

Great prices. I usually go to gig harbor from Graham but heard excellent reviews about chit chat! Very personal, extremely nice, very gentle with my nails. Its super nice and clean in there. I think I have found my new nail peoples!

First and last time coming. Very racist. One of the guys that works there, Flipped me off for asking him to fix my nails correctly, extremely disrespectful. I was there for 3 hours to get a fill and pedicure, it has never taken that long. I was there before multiple people and had to wait after them even though none of them had an apt. The lady doing my hands had her daughter their, she was jumping on my chair and distracting her mother from doing her job, very unprofessional.

I got an acrylic/ gel manicure and I worked the next day and the gel ripped and peeled off. So I went back in and the gel hadn’t dried in the middle so they re-did 3 nails. Completely free of charge, great salon!!

I went 3 times... good price. But wont be back. On my last visit, the girl left the table MULTIPLE tines to talk on her phone at the back of the store. Eventually, another girl sat down to finish. No converstion. Then I noticed a nail was crooked. I pointed it out and the girl insisted that its how my mail grows. I told her no... Ive had my nails done for 20 years and this is the first time this has been mentioned. She called a dude over... discussed the situation in their language and then he insisted the same. Nope. Wont go back.

Crappy customer service. Didnt clean up the polish on the sides of my toes or paint my whole nails, Im pregnant so it was hard to tell until later when I could see in better lighting. They charge more then any place around! The place may be nice and I had high hopes but they did a botched job on my sisters acrylic nails and she kept telling the lady that they werent even and they were super thick but she didnt fix it properly like she said she would. Then when she painted them she got polish all over her skin and didnt clean it off. When we told them that she wouldnt be paying for the $37 full set but only for her previous set to be taken off since being asked several times to fix what was wrong they became extremely rude, came at my sister with clippers and said I will take them off then. Not trying to scam them or anything but she was working on her nails for over an hour and a half and she couldnt get it right so it was time to leave. She paid the $10 for the removal of her nails and we left. Also when I went to pay for my $25 pedicure she asked if I wanted to add a tip, i said cant I just write it on the receipt? She said no she had to do it on the machine. I get my receipt and bam their is a tip line after all. So not only did they literally yell at my 17 year old sister who was being very calm and nice considering but they lied about tipping. Very unprofessional and will never go back!!!

My overall experience was just ok. The lady who did my pedicure was great but failed to communicate the actual cost of a pedicure & manicure, not just the pedicure. The upscale lady who did my manicure rushed it and acted like she didnt want to do it. I probably wont be back but if you like the upscale nail bar you would probably enjoy. They just didnt really sell that experience to me when I went.

My go to nail place! Once they are comfortable with you they are really great and really try to please with colors and designs!

I always manage to get a nice manicure here, but I am not convinced that they clean their nail and cuticle instruments between every customer.

I had my set put on here 2 weeks ago, it was ombré blue powder. I come in for a fill and get told I have to get the entire set removed if I want to do powder again..So i pick a gel color and was told they couldn’t use it because it wouldn’t cover..so we came up with a solution to put a gold base down to cover the old glitter and then put the gold sparkle on top. I asked her to not do my other hand until we see what it will look like and she raises her voice saying “it’s already dry!” So I opt for all solid purple since it was looking very poor. Now I have glue hanging off my nails, paint dried underneath, some of the old nail still showing, and bumpy paint. I honestly cannot believe what I experienced as I’ve never been to a salon that operates this way. Highly discourage anyone from trying this place.Update: I posted this review prior to leaving the salon. I went to the pay counter when completed and kindly asked to speak to the manager who then offered to fix the nails. I appreciated the offer but after sitting there since they opened and the poor service received I didn’t feel comfortable. I asked if I would still have to pay full price if he corrected them, he said yes. I told him I didn’t feel that it was very fair because of the customer service I experienced and his response was “woooow..so you don’t want to pay??” I showed him my nails again and asked if he really wants someone leaving their salon with nails looking like this and being unhappy and he said “You still pay.” At this point i was stunned. I paid the $27.00 and left as quickly as I could. Never. Again. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced anywhere.Update #2:It’s Monday morning, two days since my fill. 5 nails shellac are chipped and peeling off. Still no response from the salon.

The workers were nice but unfortunately my nails have polish on my skin everywhere and some polish missing in places. The pedicure was not worth the 50$ I know that but overall I wasnt impressed with the quality and the chairs and floor were pretty gross, not to mention the pedicure buttons were all busted.

I went in there do get a full set done only to have them nic 6 of my cuticles so they were bleeding like crazy. And normally getting sets take 45min to and hour but this took 2 hours. Dont recommend

First off I’ll start with this salon is clean and looks amazing inside. That’s all i really have to say about the esthetics of this place.Now for the services. I had received the fire dancer pedicure with a color. The pedicure was great until the arch of my foot and the side of my leg had gotten burnt from the hot rocks. I don’t blame the nail technician. She had it wrapped in a towel so she didn’t realize how hot the rocks actually were. Moving forward, she had to repaint my big toe on my right foot not once, not twice, but FIVE times. A little extreme if you ask me. This pedicure was $40.Next up was my nails. They had to take off my current acrylics to provide me with an ombré look i had requested. The nail technician did fantastic and made sure i loved my nails.After they were done i went up to pay. They didn’t provide me with a break down or anything, just told me straight up $90. That means my nails cost a WHOPPING $50 by themselves! That’s just asinine and outrageously priced. Due to specifically that, i most likely will NOT be returning. $90 for a basic pedicure where i got burnt multiple times and then just an ombré nail, i think not.

Prices are very high, friendly service though. Had a pedicure and girl cut my toe and picked wrong polish. Not sure if returning due to pricing. Pedi, nails with shellac $90.

I cant say enough good things. Great staff. Amazing pedis and manis. Super clean and they use sterilized Mani and Pedi items for each person, they come in a small sanitation kit and I love that this place is soooo clean!

Dismissive of customers questions and complaints, felt a bit like an inconvenience even though we made our appointments in advance. Also really pricey for the service provided.

Nice place but rude workers, I asked if they could take my previous nails off and get a new set and the lady was very unprofessional she kept walking off and throwing her hands up saying I dont know maybe you can take them off she kept playing in her phone walking back and forth just a mess my nails do not look the way I wanted and I got them done December 26th i already have 3 cracked nails and I Ive never had any issues before at any other places I went to I just moved to Puyallup and wanted to find a good nail shop closer to my house but I definitely wont ever go back
