I was going to pay cash including tip for my ride. I asked the driver for $10 in change. He didn’t have any, or so he claimed. I then asked if he took credit cards and he said no. I said then we have a problem. Fortunately the hotel front desk where I was checking in had change. This was ridiculous however. If you don’t take credit, then you must have change. Simple. There’s no way I’m leaving a $16 tip on a $24 ride. Do better.

I was pressed for time when speaking at an event in the Convention Center to get to the Airport. I scheduled with them the night before for a pickup at a precise time the next time, and we coordinated to meet on the street at the Convention Center. Based on my unfamiliarity of the area, we came rather close to knowing where to meet, and then spoke on the phone as I was leaving the convention center to be at the right spot. Very nice driver, pleasant conversation on the drive, and made it to the airport with time to spare. I got the referral to call them from the Marriot Courtyard and am happy to give a thumbs up to pass it on. Thank you.

I asked for a taxi at TF Green Airport in RI. There were 3 cabs in the taxi area and I was told Slim Taxi was next in line. When the driver motioned to me, I explained that I did not need the large vehicle he was driving because I wanted to take the cheapest ride I could find. He laughed at me and I felt like I had no choice, so I got in. The driver, I assume he is the owner, spent the first 5 minutes of a 10 minute ride complaining about the fees the airport charges and that he had no choice but to charge the customers. My ride was 10 minutes and he charged me $42! I was so disgusted with him trying to rip me off, that I told him so and paid the fee. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I am an elderly woman, traveling alone, and he shocked me with the fee at the end. The meter said a lower number and he continued to say he had to charge me more. I am going to complain to TF Green airport that they should not let him work his taxi there.

Called to order told them where I was told him where I was going and everything seemed like it was good to go- he says he has to dispatch his driver hes going to call me right back. standing out in the cold and rain for 30 minutes, I decided to call a lyft instead. Lyft got there in 5 minutes.... The future is now Mr. Taxi service well remember cabs like we member landline phones soon enoughOh and did I mention the price my Lyft was 8 bucks 13 after tip this taxi was going to cost me $20

He is always on time, courteous and quick and safe. Clean cars great personally. I recommend Sliim taxi to a anyone.p

Came on time, very friendly. The van was clean and driver was nice. I booked the taxi ride the night before no problem. Called with pickup/drop off and time, received a text confirming info was right, received text morning of saying the taxi will be arriving soon. And on top of that, maybe got myself a new job.

Very unprofessional! Asked for a cab for 5:00am because I had to be at work at 5:30am and they show up at 5:25 I live 25 minutes away from where I work. Needless to say I was late and he still wanted the full amount. Just goes to show people suck!

If i can give more than 10 Stars, i will give this guy, i must confess, i really hate the Taxi Companies, till i realize their importance, i was stranded on 295 freeway, i called the Emergency people for help, they were unable to get to me on-time, i was freezing to death with my little son and decided to call a cab company, called several companies, they wouldnt pick me and my little boy up till i was able to get in contact with slim Taxi. I was surprise when he showed up, he gave me Towel to dry up, the car was super warm, way too clean and smells very very nice. Slim gave my son his I-Pad to play with, he stopped to let us get coffee, got us home safe and sound, i will never forget this and i was expecting a $150:00 bill, we were only charged $35:00, i am very grateful and i have a TAXI company for life.

I was taught a sweet and sour lesson this weekend, just dont know how important every transportation system is, not until my Uber and Lyft dished me and had to catch a flight out of rhode island and really need to get to the airport before 6am. And i was running extremely late, Slim Taxi really really came to my rescue.The last time i took a cab was in New York, the driver was very mean, rude and doesnt care. I dread the same service especially that early in the morning.But Mr Slim as i called him was exceptional, i felt as if i was riding with my brother, he made me feel comfortable from the very first minute, he cracked me out with his jokes and and humor, we talked all the way through to the airport. And he made me realize we all family in this world.The reason why i am writing this review is to put it out there, TAXI business people are been cheated and let down by the government due to there high insurance premium and level of scrutiny they have to go through by the government. Also they do have family to feed as well, now i will be mixing both the ride sharing companies and Taxi Cab companies.Slim Taxi, i hope you keep that good service of, neat, good smelling car, safe, fast and wonderful humor up. It was an enjoyable ride. And i didnt miss my flight. And you taught me that invaluable lesson of LOVE.Thank you.

I knew the Taxis were bad and horrible especially with timing, i have to give it to this guy;he sent me a confirmation&reminder text about my trip, the driver was there 10 minutes early to my pick up, nice smelling, neat, internet, free water for the ride. I am definitely going to do business with him again, really really did had a fun and good ride with the driver.I implore everyone to do business with this guy hes on another level with his pricing, hospitality, fast and save driving.Love your service Slim.

All i can say is thank you, this cab company saved me from death i mean death, i was literally freezing to death and no one i mean no Taxi Company will pick me up, because i couldnt pay them, this Slim guy took a gamble on me, i felt like crying, he even bought me coffee, i was treated like a friend, i really do appreciate your service. This is the first time i have ever been treated right by a stranger.

This is a good taxi company, i was picked up on time at unusual hour, the driver was very polite, the vehicle was very neat and smells distinctly great, it was a fun jollie ride to the airport with such a relaxing music in the car.

Just find this amusing someone having same name as mine, called up the cab company, guess what he didnt disappoint, he gave 10 mins, he got to me in 6 minutes, to make the matter awesome the car is way too damn clean compared to my previous experiences. Very neat, fast, super funny driver, this cab company is the real deal right now, just do it and see what happen folks.

Taught there was no taxi service anymore until I found myself not been able to use my uber app because the uber drivers refuse to pick me up telling me to pay cash out of the app for my ride because where I am is too far. I was so mad then I decided to google taxi cabs that is safe that can pick me up in Foster RI in the middle of night. Here comes my savior SLIM TAXI this guy is so hilarious and just made me feel like a friend and I was so comfortable in the super neat high tech mini van, I must reiterate, his van was so spacious and neat and smells very nice, its just like a limousine service which I ended up sleeping up till he woke me up in my destination.I am leaving this review because I taught the ride was going to be like $200 cos I surrendered that night to the way people say Taxi service is so expensive, my ride only cost me a fraction and I was so impressed with the service and the safety I felt that night. Might stick to his Taxi service, super nice, funny, great hospitality Taxi cab company. I will definitely use the service again.

The driver took me to the airport but turned off the meter before I could verify the total and then added an additional charge of almost $3 for using a credit card. He was friendly and all but once this happened i realized it was all just an act to swindle me. I was enjoying my trip to Providence but this last ride to the airport left a bad impression of a local taking advantage of a traveler. Next time I’ll sticks to Uber where you always know what you are going to pay and never feel cheated.

Really dont take Taxi anymore, but i was referred by a friend after i almost missed my flight relying on Uber, i wasnt expecting the service i received, i taught it was going to be usual Taxi service way of 10 mins after 10 mins till after an hour i was surprised when he showed up after 7 mins i also taught it was going to cost me like $100 or more to get me to the airport, but i was amazed when i realized Uber was even more expensive than Taxis, the car was super neat, spacious and it smells so nice and with his choice of piano music, i slept off during the short ride to the airport. It was a good Taxi experience, i just have to give him this review cos he made the whole day better.

Slim Taxi is my freaking HERO! My son was going to Brown for a medical residency interview on 1/4/18 during the bomb cyclone and got off the train to learn public transit had shut down. He was waiting in a grocery store trying to figure out how to get the 3 miles through the blizzard to his AirBnB. He had limited internet service and his phone was running out of juice. I search around (from NC) and found Slim Taxi. The owner found a driver who would go out in the horrific road conditions to get my son. But, even more, the owner stayed on the phone with me while he tracked his driver on GPS to let me know when the driver got to my son, and stayed on the phone with me to let me know when they got safely to his destination. We had a few good laughs during what was a very stressful and potentially very dangerous situation. His driver was exceptional. I will make a special trip to RI some day just to shake this guys hand.

Worst cab ride of my life. First off the guy was smoking a cigarette while driving. Then he throws his cigarette out of the window, littering, an illegal tossing of trash from a vehicle. He, further, asked me about my personal life... about a boyfriend or a husband. I said no I dont have that. Then he said: what you dont need dick?I told him to do not talk to me like that. We drove 5.4 Miles- the trip was 5.4 Miles- the meter read $24 but the driver charged me $35. I questioned him about this and he said because he came from Providence to Warwick to drive me.When I made the initial call to this cab service I asked the dispatch do you service Warwick? and he said yes.I will never recommend this cab service to anyone; as well as, I am making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and I am making a report further with authorites about this unprofessional taxi service.I rate this taxi service ZERO.
