Terrible experience here today. I only went here because I was pressed for time and my usual nail salon could not fit me in.  Im never going to this place again. I spent the majority of my pedicure swatting bugs off of me. There were fruit flies all over me during my pedicure. They would not leave be alone. I think they were attracted to the acetone my nails were soaking in.When I walked in I showed the man at the door (owner) that I already had dip powder on my nails and wanted to get them redone. Asked for price he told me $35. No prob. After my awful bug filled pedicure the woman who did my finger nails was terrible at her job. She took the old powder off leaving my fingers covered in stuck on cotton that wouldnt come off,  filed me real nails down to almost nothing,  filed them so crooked I took the emory board from her and finished filling them myself. Then to add insult to injury she told the guy at the front to charge me 66. 26 for pedicure and 40 for nails. I told her the owner said 35. She kept saying no its 40. I asked her to get him for me. Well they ended up charging my card 94.72!  Im like what??? He came out from the back to fix the problem wanting to credit and recharge. I said no because refunds take up to a week theres no way youre holding nearly 100 dollars for a week. Plus you told me 35 for the dip. He said oh we charge extra 5 to remove the old one. Why didnt you tell me that? I showed you my nails,  you knew what I had because you asked me if these were my real nails I told you yes. Plus my regular salon NEVER charges to remove. This is crazy. After all that instead of admitting the mistake and offering to honor what he told me he still ended up charging me the 66. I asked for the balance of the overage back in  cash. He gave it to me and said were even when actually we werent because the credit card fee he charged me was based on the higher amount so no,  were not even but I wasnt interested in nickel and diming at that point I just wanted to get out of there. The end result? Well Ill let the pictures tell the story. These pictures were taken 15 mins after I left the salon. Never going back there again. I highly DO NOT recommend.

I was initially excited when I got my nails done, but 70 dollars and three days later this is what my nails look like. I got a full gel set, and gel polish. The polish is coming off around the cuticles. What a damn shame. I will not be returning. Owner was also extremely rude to his employees during my entire stay and that made me uncomfortable.

I came in looking to get my nails done and was greeted by nasty attitudes. I looked past it as I was trying to be compassionate, but then they kept going. Not only were they being rude, but this lasted for over an hour waiting. I had to leave by then, I just did not want my nails done at all after this. My experience there was completely unprofessional in almost every aspect.

They will have you waiting for over an hour, don’t care about first come first serve, they’ll take whoever they want to in the moment, which is pretty frustrating at a nail salon because if you complain you’re seen as the problem. Better to go to a nicer place

I came in looking to get a mani pedi done for my best friends party. I was in high hopes and in a great mood as I was expecting to come out of here with a beautiful set. It was all drained out of me within the 30 minutes that I was waiting for a seat to clear up. There was just a lot of negativity from when u walk through those doors and it really is draining. I did not stay to get them done as I could not take the amount of disrespectfulness from these workers.

Walked in and asked for a mani& pedi. The nail tech told me to pick my color for my toes, which I did. Nail tech told me to take a seat and said I was next. There was a girl who came in a little after me and the nail tech took her before me. The girl was very nice and said I was before her. The nail tech replies “ I don’t do pedicures and someone would be with me soon. I proceed to tell said nail tech I wouldn’t have minded getting my nails done first. Nail Tech then asks “ Oh you want nails done first?” I told her I wouldn’t have minded but the girl she took before me was already settled in and I wasn’t gonna move her. Nail tech said I would be next. Another couple of girls comes in and again the same nail tech places one of them with another nail tech while I’m still sitting there even after what we discussed before minutes before!!!!! A male nail tech proceeds to tell me again that I’m next. I sit there for another 10 minutes and nothing. I call up another nail salon while sitting there and ask if they could take me and I’d be there in 5 minutes. They agreed!!! I walked out of the nail salon with no word to any of them with the first nail tech yelling behind me “ma’am!” I ignore her and keep it moving. The male nail tech runs out behind me knocking on my car window saying there would be 2 chairs available in 2 minutes. I replied no thank you and drove away!!!!! When I feel DISRESPECTED and not fairly PRIORITIZED you DO NOT get my money or business!!!!! I won’t be returning!!!!!

I give it a try and regretted!!Regular pedicure $26 power dip $35 they changed $5 extra to removed the old one on yours nails plus they changed 3% to used you debit card. And he said every business changed to used credit card ??? NO wrong I never been charged any extra whatever the price on list always 💯 on the list. never steps my feet ever again!! I wasted my money! And not a great job!!PS the owner was also rude to employees!

Made an appointment for my husband and i to get pedicures. Staff was very friendly and they did a good job! The only reason why i am not rating it higher is they didn’t offer a massage when your toes dry.

One of the worst manicures I’ve gotten in a long time. And $17?! For a basic simple, no frills manicure. No cuticle oil, or tiny bit of lotion, nothing. $17.. then ran my card for $17.51. There is nail polish all over my fingers. I never write reviews but I have to let people know to skip it and keep driving.

I spent 200.00 I have no lashes my nails and fingers are covered with white power and gel said something to the tech and manger and was told I could come back to have it fixed can’t fix my nails they are now filed off completely from the sides and pointed NOT what I asked for at all my lash’s and the extensions are falling out as I type !! Never been so MAD and disappointed 200$ gone but my pedicure was ok at least

Had an appointment for a mani/pedi. Got pedicure staff led me to a dryer. I asked about my manicure, he looked at another customer waiting and told me to sit and wait awhile. I decided to just leave as I didn’t feel like I should have to wait to finish the services I made an appointment for. I won’t be back to this salon.

They increased the price of a pedicure by 5.00 dollars because the pandemic increased the cost of supplies AND they charge 3% for me to use my DEBIT card. Really??? Even though they will be charged nothing by my bank. They didnt tell me that when I made the appointment OR when I walked in. They told me after I was done...essentially forcing me pay the extra fee. I asked to go to my bank and they wanted the keys to my car or my phone. GTFOH!!! This tactic should be illegal.

Don’t go there. This place cut me three times. Every time I have gone I have been cut badly. They do not care what u ask them to do, they will not give you want you want. For example I asked for a specific shape n design n they did not give me that. They make you wait forever. This place is horrible. I’ve game them multiple chances and they’ve done terribly every time. Never again.

I feel like it’s necessary to write this review because I was very irritated with the service I had received from this nail salon. I was referred by a friend and I went spending over $60. I believe the man who had done my nails was named Tio and he did an absolutely wonderful job on my nails! Probably my favorite set I had ever gotten, definitely worth $60 in my opinion. Even though they came out beautiful, Tio’s attitude had driven me from ever coming back. He was asking a lot of personal questions, which isn’t exactly a problem until he started judging me by my answers. He basically told me that I needed to go to college or I won’t achieve anything, he was being very rude. After my nails were finished I expressed how beautifully done they were and I was more than happy on giving him a $15 dollar tip from my card, he had informed me that they don’t except tips from cards, only cash. I only had $5 in cash and he INSISTED I find an ATM from a nearby store so he can receive a bigger tip, I apologized and told him I had more errands to run and I didn’t have time to run around and find an ATM. He gave me the dirtiest look and just snatched my $5. He did a great job but I’ll never go back.

I’ve been going here for almost 3 years now. I always go to Tio, he is the best. Every appointment is fun and I always leave blown away. I won’t go anywhere else!

I don’t ever write reviews but had to write this one. I was trying to get a quick, simple gel manicure before dinner plans. The restaurant I was going to was directly across the street so I thought 30-40 minutes was enough time. My manicure started ok but my male manicurist began to painstakingly trim minuscule, nearly non-visible pieces of skin off my cuticles, while asking me numerous personal questions about my relationship status and why I wasn’t married, and the time I needed to leave got closer and closer. I finally apologized and told him that I had dinner plans and needed to leave soon and asked if we could just paint my nails so I could leave. His reaction was awful. He made clear that he didn’t care if I was late and told me that the “restaurant will be open to midnight” (it was now 5:20pm) and I could get there when he was done. He also told me that since I was “rushing him” (this was 40 plus minutes into the manicure) I couldn’t complain if something wasn’t perfect. He then went on a tirade about how people should never complain about quality of service they receive because it will “hurt the worker’s feelings” and that “rich people never complained.” At one point I told him one coat of gel was good enough because I was already late and just needed to go and he actually said, “No, two” and proceeded to put a second coat on my nails despite my objecting. Usually when you are running short on time a business will try to accommodate you and get you in and out. Here, I felt like he purposely slowed down almost as a power play. I was essentially in tears upon leaving because I was so uncomfortable and ended up being 25 minutes late to dinner. The only reason I am not giving one star is because my nails look absolutely perfect. Despite that I am never going to return to this business.

Best place to go for nails in the Dutchess County area. I struggled to find a good nail technician before I was recommended to Tio. He is a true master at what he does and I have never left disappointed. I have been seeing him for a while now and unfortunately, due to COVID-19, have not been able to have my gel acrylics refilled, but I am on week 5 and still no lifting or chipping of polish! Tios nail art is a true miracle. Hes the only person I trust with my nails.

This nail salon is clean and normally does a pretty good job but make sure you make an appointment if you don’t want to waste your day away waiting! I am a new mom and have been trying to get to the nail salon for months. In an attempt finally take a little time to myself I put my son in daycare and head over there to get my nails done. At first they said it would be a few minutes, then about ten minutes later they said it would be about thirty, thirty five minutes...over an hour later I was still sitting there waiting. Out of frustration and rage I finally got up and left as I had to get my son in time for his next feeding and I was starting to feel like if they ever got to me I’d have to go before they would be done. I literally wanted to cry my entire ride home because there were so many other things I could’ve done with my time. I wish they were just upfront about the wait time from the beginning as I would’ve left and gotten something else done.

Clean salon with friendly staff who do their best to service customers in a timely and efficient manner. Have always been satisfied with services received. The owner/manager, Johnny(?), is very kind and takes pride in his business. I would (and do) recommend this nail salon above all others in our area.

Just got done with my nail appointment with Tio. He always takes his time to make sure my nails look nice and never disappoints. He has a very dry sense of humor which you’ll start to love and find hilarious. Definitely recommend him to everyone!

I gave them three stars because they honestly lie to you when you ask them a simple How long is the wait? Thats the first thing I ask. And they always follow up with Not long. A couple of minutes. Each time I have waited 45 minutes and LEFT because they still did not take me. However, their pedicures and manicures are great. Very relaxing. The staff is very friendly. But if they truly know how long the wait is they should tell you the truth instead of having you waste your time waiting.

Tio is my guy! Always love my nails when he does them. Wait for him...hes the best!!And get your pedicures from Maria. She is the best! Plus u can have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while u relax.

Pedicure and manicure was fine. The girl did a nice job but the man with the beard was rude! He was incompetent in giving other alternatives based on our conversation and the picture of what I wanted! Will definitely take my business elsewhere!!

I walked in to Grand LV to get a gel manicure and pedicure. Tio was very considerate, while I was looking at the list of services and prices, he focused on the lady whose nails he was working on only checking in with me once or twice. Not pushy like other salons Ive been to where the employees expect you to know what you are having done the second you walk in the door. I am recovering from a car accident that occurred about a week ago and the nail technician who worked on my nails was very gentle with the leg that is still bruised/sore. She was extra careful during the massage portion and gave me advice about a top coat I had chosen. (I chose a black glitter coat to cover a neon pink, she explained that brand would simply cover the pink and directed me towards a sparkly clear topcoat.) When it was time for my gel manicure she chose another pink/sparkle combo that almost perfectly matches my toes. I was at the station next to Tios and I enjoyed his brand of humor and admire his skill with nail art. He knew his customers by name and I can see why he is in such high demand. 10/10 recommend.

Loyal customer to NY nails on Rt 9 for the last 6 years. I decided to try this place out. My first experience was horrible- the nail tech didn’t listen to what I asked her to do, and today I got her again and she told me that if I wanted the cat eye polish I need to purchase a full set because they can’t do it on a natural length nail. A different tech named Johnny helped me, who is supposedly the manager and should be more skilled- yet he cut three of my fingers open with the nail file, I would say pretty deeply as they were bleeding throughout the entire duration of the service. He told me it was my fault Because I have dry skin- which is completely false. Ive been getting my nails done for years and only have had my fingers cut open when the nail tech was rushing or careless. I spent $78.00 in that salon today, because I paid for my friend also, with an hour wait. I asked if they could give me a discount on the service because as I showed him 3 of my fingers were still bleeding as I was paying which puts the customer at risk for an infection. He also did not clean the underneath of my nails before he put the pink UV gel on. He refused to give me anymore than $5 off. Every other nail salon I’ve been to, has offered a $10-$15 discount when they cut my fingers. Not to mention - the nails on my right hand is completely aymmetricsl to my left hand, because he was too careless And rushing to check to make sure both hands matched. They do a good job on polish- however they are a new salon and their mediocre ability to shape nails correctly is astounding, more so- the terrible customer service to resolve mistakes and bad service, will be the reason why myself and my friend will never give them business again.

Horrible. Ive been here twice for Dip Powder. The first time, the nail tech did two completely different processes on my hands. They didnt look the same and she blamed me and said I must have touched them while drying.I give second chances, so I went back and had a different tech. This one did the same process for both hands, but the day after getting my nails done, all 10 of my nails have a crackle, spider-cracked look to them and theyre already chipping after a week.I havent attempted getting a refund because most nail salons have no refund signs and are more trouble than its really worth. I just wont be paying them $35 + tip (cash only for tips btw) anymore for someone to mess my nails up.

Dee is my nail tech and she always does an amazing job on my gel tips nails. I see Kim when I want an amazing pedicure. I do recommend having an appointment though, otherwise the wait will be very long.

They are really gentle with your hands, your cuticles don’t hurt after. And the manicures come out amazing!!

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. WANNA SAVE TIME AND MONEY DO NOT GO HERE. PAID $38 to have the worst nails of my life, i could’ve done them better my self. I don’t understand why it’s so horrible but not even three hours later my one nail chipped, and theee of my nails are complete disaster.

Me and my friend waited 1½ hours(her 2 hours) and were rushed through our nails. Considering there was about 6+ people working and 3 people getting their nails done, thats extremely ridiculous. Its been a day and my nail has already broken. Theyre over priced, on top of that! I paid 37 dollars for something that would cost me 27 at my usual place. I was so disappointed in the way that this place was run. Never going here again, what a waste of money.

This place is amazing! the staff is so nice and friendly and everyone greets you. Johnny the manager is consistently making sure that you’re okay and taken care of. they offer coffee, wine and other refreshments. Tio is the best nail artist i have ever been to. i’m constantly referring him and this salon to people! highly recommended!!

Horrible service! An appointment was made 4 weeks ago for a wedding party of 7 with bridal party, bride, groom, and mother of bride and grandmother... showed up for appointment at 7pm and now 9:01 and still half of the wedding party has not been helped or talked to, mother of the bride...they took other walk-ins while we waited for 45 mins. Water for all parties was cold and when we spoke to some of the staff, they ignored us. Manager came over and said sorry and told us they didnt have enough staff, however many of the staff that where there when we arrived left. What was suppose to be a relaxing experience 2 days before the wedding ended up being a nightmare. Half the wedding party had to leave to take the elders home then the bride had to come back for her mom. Would strongly not recommend this establishment! As two of the wedding party have been coming here and live here and never had this service before for a special occasion. Things happen in a business, but this is ridiculous!

Great experiences at the Grand LV nail salon. The nail salon is very clean, the atmosphere is calming. I feel very comfortable there. The staff is very welcoming, my husband gets his pedicures done there as well. Tio is my nail Tech. Tio is very talented skilled and has lots of experience. Kim I cant say enough about her pedicures. I get a lot of compliment on my nails and feet. I highly recommend Grand LV Nails!

My first time going here and I won’t be returning. Each gel color I picked they didn’t have and finally when I picked a color the bottle was damn near empty. After the first coat of my nails he said he had to use a different polish, so at this point I just agreed and wanted to be done because I had other running around to do before an event and my manicure looks horrible. You can see the spots missed and it looks so rushed.

I love it! They do the best pedicures in Dutchess County for an affordable price! I recently had them do my nails and Tio did them perfectly! Great customer service too!

The place is ok. I live in the area and i normally go my salon, but i was trying something new today. First, the wait was over 40 mins. Once we were finally seen, the technician overloaded my nail with the acrylic. When i asked her to continue to thin it out, she had a slight attitude and told me “not yet.” When she was officially done with nails, she did not even clean out the excess acrylic underneath the nail or clean my finger or my surrounding cuticle. Disclaimer it was super busy and i am keeping that in account, but i was there 2 hours before there closing time. The technician was just ready to leave. I understand a hard day, but that should be something you take up with management, not the customer. Overall, my nails are ok, now that i cleaned them up to my liking. The wait was just a little excessive.

If i could, id give you 0 stars but Google is too nice to allow that. 3 hour wait, an hour for my gfs nails to get done(average time to get done no problem) but one breaks 2 days later because it wasnt put on properly. Didnt snap didnt do anything it literally just fell off. And they wont fix it. Wouldnt reccomended to anyone.

I get my nails done by Dee, who always does a fantastic job.The only thing that is frustrating, is that even with an appointment you can wait up to 45 mins. I now call ahead, so I know if there is an issue.

And a 2 is generous based upon the available staff ratio to customers. They are ALWAYS understaffed. Even when theyre slow. Then you have the one wise guy who thinks hes funny, yet obnoxious and rude. Got here at 5 to ll with doors open already, one nail job in progress, 3 sets of feet in the pedicure tubs, and three people waiting fot fills with only 2 workers present, and I rest my case. The only thing that keeps me coming back is the ones that provide excellent service, and work. End result, is mngmnt stinks.

Terrible place, long wait, nails fall off after a few days, not even breaking or chipping off just falling off, wouldnt reccomended. Save your money from this over priced place and go somewhere with better quality.

Johnny is THE man for eyebrows. He can fix whatever anyone else screwed up. All other salons take off too much of my eyebrows and some leave them uneven. He has repaired others mistakes, now they are full, perfectly shaped and even. I will only allow him to work on me now.

Just got my nails done here, it took 2.5 hours and was nothing like I wanted! My wedding is tomorrow and I drove 40min to get here bc the owner said they could do pink and white ombre. I even came last night to get a pedicure and showed him a picture. He said no problem! I walked out with a french manicure, and knowing how upset I was charged me full price and did not rectify the situation at all. The only reason I gave 2 stars was bc Maria and Jolie did a great job with pedicures for me and my daughter.

It started with me being seated in a very uncomfortable chair for my spa pedicure, when everyone elses chair had a remote to control their massage/chair I was missing one. I got the most expensive spa pedicure and yet Francis did not offer the wine/ coffee they came with it, while the girl next to me getting basic pedi sipped on her coffee. Francis did not cut my nails, never asked me if I need to and barely filed them. Then she went at it with a grater on my soles to the point that it was painful. I get regular pedis, if I had that much dead skin it wouldnt hurt that much. No cuticles done, definitely not a 10 min massage, no timer was started. We move on to my manicure, again no cuticles and she pushes my nail bed back with her nails, gross. While filing my nails I corrected her twice as the filing was crooked, she had to ask me which side was crooked .The reason they got 2 stars, she could paint nails. Bottom line, if you still decide to go here do not go to Francis.

Today was my first time ever getting my nails done in Dutchesss county since I’ve been living here for a little over a year. My experience at first did not start off great because I felt like the guy was a little rude over the phone and when I came in he was a bit rude; also two ladies (who I assume where regulars since greeted him by name) that came in after me was seen before me. I was annoyed at that point but since my brother wedding is tomorrow and it wasn’t over crowded I decided to stay. Once I was seen the lady who did my sns nails and pedi was amazing. She made me feel comfortable and did a really great job. I will have to say I was impressed on how clean and nice it looked on the inside. I’m not so sure if I will come back due to the lack of good customer service that I experience today; and allowing two people to jump in front of me.

Love this place. Water, coffee is available and brought to you. Appointments are available during the week only. Weekends are only walkins. Trus me, schedule an appointment or you will have a long wait, but worth it.

I’ve been to a lot of nail salons throughout all of NYS, in NYC, upstate (Albany, Saratoga - you name it), and I can genuinely say that the staff and service at Grand LV nails has been the absolute best! I have never been disappointed, the staff takes their time, they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, and do a very good job whether it’s gel polish, regular mani, and especially pedis. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them!

Absolutely horrible! For a gelmanicure it took way too long (girl next to me came in after me and walked out with a full set!). Plus they charged an extra $5 to “remove” my ANC which was the same process used to take off the gel (but they don’t charge extra for gel removal?!). Run— don’t walk— to the next salon!
