ALWAYS walk away super happy. This time I had an appt with Justin first time with him. I had hair past my shoulders and needed a cleanup and showed him a pic of what I want. After a few follow up questions he was on his way. Again I walked away super happy and have no problem putting my trust in any of the stylists their. Been using them ever since I moved to poughkeepsie and will continue to use them.

I started coming here almost a year ago and after that first experience, I wanted to write a review. One year later, I’m finally doing it. This place is top notch. My favorite part about coming here is how inclusive the place is. Literally anyone can walk through the door no matter their ethnic, age, sex, etc. and be serviced. Positive vibes from everyone.I see Justin and have never received a haircut I didn’t like. The most impressive thing is I’ve never gotten the same haircut twice. I’m always experimenting and trying new things. This past time, I finally just told Justin to do his thing and I’ve finally landed my new look. I’ll be getting this cut for the foreseeable future.Now, since I’ve been coming for awhile now, I’ve been able to observe the other employees. I’m so impressed by the work they do for their clients and the information they share on hair care.Alex is a father and great at giving cuts to children. I highly recommend this studio. I’m happy to support such a wonderful group of people.

What!!! Claudia completely blew it out of the park with my hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she nailed it. Liz, was my stylist, she did a great job even though I had to squeeze in on a Friday and I had a tight schedule. When I left I wanted more color added to my hair for a richer look. She kindly had me come back and only had me pay for the color she used and finished the touch up with sprucing up my ends and a great blowout and style. Very relaxing experience knowing that I got what I wanted!

Absolutely love. I saw Lizbeth Mendez for a womens cut and blow out this afternoon. She did everything I asked for and more. She was extremely nice/friendly, while also giving me a great cut. She even took the time to curl my hair the way I like it. The place was nice and clean as well. I definitely recommend! Thanks Lizbeth!

The Great Studio is amazing! The staff members are very friendly, talented and stay current with trending makeup and hair styles. I had my bridal hair and makeup trial done with one of the owners, Claudia who was incredible! She worked with me through multiple different hairstyles until we found the one I loved the most and wanted to wear for my wedding day. She also did a fantastic job on my makeup without even knowing what my dress looked like and just going based off of my description which she matched perfectly! The morning of my wedding Claudia came with Lizz and Kimberli on a Sunday and my bridal party & I had the entire salon to ourselves. The Great Studio was playing such a fitting playlist in the studio and they allowed me to bring mimosas and breakfast foods for all of the girls while we were getting hair and makeup done that morning. They were so relaxed and were able to get all 12 of us girls ready by 1:15pm and we had gotten there at 9am. Without rushing they made everyone look amazing and everyone was so pleased with their hair and makeup. Their prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend going to The Great Studio not only for wedding hair/makeup but just in general. Thank you so much for making us all look so incredibly beautiful on my wedding day!

I am a returning customer I went for a partial baylage which I thought was $190. I showed Jenny a picture of exactly what I wanted and she left me to believe everything she was doing with all the upcharges was going to get me the results I wanted. It ended up being $265 JUST for color. Which I agreed to pay and the end result was not what I wanted at all!! I wanted black on top a lighter brown on the bottom. I have no idea what she did but no one noticed I got my hair done. I was in the chair for 5 hours and she tried to even fix it and it still didnt look any different. When I talked to the owner Claudia she didnt seem to care and wouldnt give me a refund. She said she would fix it but after sitting in the chair for 5 hours and being up all night upset I didnt want to chance it. I feel I got wripped off and I got to see the real Claudia. These girls are all nice and sweet untill you criticize there work. I went to two other salons who confirmed that I did not get what I paid for. I got warm tone highlights with still red in my hair and chemical damage for the unnecessary bleaching they did to charge me more. Also once I told the other salons how much I paid just for this dye job there mouths dropped. They are over priced and snobbie when you dont like there work. Also two of my best friends were models for there neon color hair and they over processed there hair so much that there hair fell out. Will never go back there again.
