Ive been looking for a new barber since moving to Poughkeepsie, and I think I finally found the right guy. Ive tried three other barbers since moving here, and all either did a lousy job with my hair or just charge too much for a simple mens haircut.Boris does a fine job and tries to build a rapport with the customer. He seems to have a lot of regulars that have been using him for years. His prices are very fair, and he did a nice job with my cut.

I have been going to Boris for haircuts since 1991. His prices are well accepted by his large following. Besides the excellent haircut you also get to listen and join the ongoing conversations he has with his customers, on any topic. He has something to say. He knows a lot of people.

Boris is a funny and nice guy. Tries his best to get to know you (without being nosy). Always friendly, perfect haircuts, cheap prices, and the bathroom is always clean. I will keep going here for a long time!

You will not get a better haircut for the price in Dutchess county. I had been going to Mens Room Barber for the past two years, but was looking for a place a little closer to where I live. Boris did a great job and only charges $12. Really happy with the cut he gave. Glad I finally found a great barber nearby!

Very nice old school barber shop run by a man named Boris. Walk ins are welcomed but you can expect a decent wait time as Boris take his time to ensure you get the best possible hair cut. The prices are also competitive.

1st time here today. Was literally looking for a barber on the phone.Called and Boris answered.He said come right in.Waited 5 mins and haircut took 10 mins.My sons hair never looked better.Most of the barbers around Dutchess have loud inappropriate music and attitudes.Will be bringing both of my boys to Boris from now on

Boris is a great Barber. Cuts are about 10-15 minutes long. during the weekend there is usually a wait with 3-6 people in front of you. Even if you go in the morning there is usually 2-3 people waiting for Boris to open up. Cheap prices as well.

I had my first cut today from Boris and am very happy with the results. Boris is easy to talk to and takes his time with your haircut. I have been going to the mens room in pok to get my hair cut for years but now that my favorite barber has left to work at central hudson I think I have found my new location for the best cut in town. Oh, did I mention $12 cash!

Boris has been our family barber for 3 generations. Cuts cost $12 on average, but we always top him at least $5. Give him a call if you think there may be a line.
